Hermione Granger took a long breath of the brisk evening air outside the burrow. She smiled and walked forward. She found a yellow daisy and squatted near it, admiring its beauty. She thought of the plan that Harry, Ron and her had set up. She was proud. So much had changed in a year: Dumbledore, Deatheaters taking over. And her and Ron. She loved him, he hopefully loved her. Though she knew they had a virtually fool-proof plan, she still doubted they'd accomplish it. She was not going to get her hopes up. She could be the one the world had to blame for killing Harry Potter. She would blame herself for killing Ron. Yet, here this flower sat. Untouched, yet so fragile. Completely defenseless. Utterly breathtaking. She laid down on the soft grass. How she longed that she could have Ron come and make it all better. She longed for one more moment with him alone, just talking. Or not.... Just, one moment where they could forget about what was going on. But she knew her wish wouldn't be granted any time soon.

Ron was still full from the large dinner his mother had prepared. That was one thing that he was really going to miss when he left with Harry and Hermione. Letting out a small belch, he stepped outside through the kitchen doorway and then stood inhaling the scent of cut grass, fresh country air and smoke from the chimney high above. He sighed and then smiled softly. He knew what was coming. They all knew. Though his family did not know what. His mother had been trying to hint and trick Ron, Hermione, and Harry. She had tried to keep them apart and tried to invade on privet conversations. It had been quite annoying to say the truth.
So now, Ronald finally had time to himself to just relax and enjoy the night. He stepped away from the house now and then rounded the corner. That was when he spotted Hermione. She was stretched out in the grass and for an unknown reason to him, it made him feel slightly excited. Ron stood where he was for a moment and then started forward and to her. "Are you alright 'Mione?" Ron asked when he was close enough so that he did not need to yell. He knew that she was fine but Ron did not know what else to say. He had reached her now and Ron stood looking down at the girl he had know for so many years before he slowly sank to the grass and then lay down beside her.
Ron lay there looking up at the night sky and the many many bright stars. He picked out consultations and planets. It was such a nice night. Ron did not know what to say to Hermione. He did not look at her again cause if she met his eyes, that would mean that he would have to make conversation.

Hermione heard Ron belch from the doorway. She hadn't had much to eat in days because of nerves, although Molly seemed to be able to feed her at least enough for her to feel a bit better. He made his way out then noticed her. "Are you alright, 'Mione?" he asked. She tensed. She was fine. She was in a state of bliss next to the dainty flower. It seemed as if anything could happen. "Fine, you?" she noticed the edge in her voice and gave Ron small apologetic smile as he laid onto the grass next to her, but she doubted he had seen. She followed his gaze up to the sky. The sun was just above the horizon and Hermione watched it go down. The sky was speckled with stars. She could also see Venus tonight. She turned her gaze to Ron, who must have been intentionally avoiding eye contact since he hadn't yet looked at her. She was a sorry sight. You could see her ribs even with a thick coat on. Her eyes had bags and had grey rings around them, so she looked a bit like a raccoon. Her cheeks were hollow and there was a large rash spreading across her arm. She looked just as she was. Malnourished and sleepless though Ron hadn't seen much of her lately because she had been huddled in her room. She hoped they could have a decent conversation, not about the horcruxes or their mission.
Ooc/ that kinda stunk sorry.

Ron lay there for a few moments longer just listening to the nature around them. He listened to the crickets in the grass and the insects in the trees. Ron could feel her eyes on him and lay there trying to decide if he should speak or not. He did not want to talk about what was ahead. There had been plenty of that already. Ron just wanted to have a few moments where everything could just be the way things used to be. A few moments where Ron could just remember the way his life had used to be.
Slowly now, Ron turned his head towards Hermione. She looked like hell. Ron did not comment on this however. He was sure that he looked much the same. The problem was, Ronald had no idea what to talk about. He looked at Hermione and he thought of only two things. The journey they were going to be making and he beautiful she was to him. Nether subject was something Ron wanted to talk about right now.
He found his mind wandering back to years ago. To when they had first met on the Hogwarts train. They could hardly stand eachother at that time. Ron smiled slightly. "Remember when we first met 'Mione?" He asked trying to get her into a simple chat.

Hermione watched as Ron turned towards her and couldn't imagine what was going through his mind. She wished he was easier to read. She looked away.
"Remember when we first met 'Mione?" He asked her, clearly trying to make simple conversation. She remembered alright. She had been trying to find Neville Longbottom's frog. Or was it a toad? Well anyways, she had come to their compartment to look and found Ron trying to turn his rat yellow. She really hadn't liked him for the first week until the troll.
"Yes, I would never forget. I miss that old pet. Neville really should get a cat or something. And its Wingardium Leviosa." She said playfully, trying to lighten the mood and failing. "I used to think you were such a jerk. That you never gave any thought to your actions or your words. Or school. I never thought that we could be such good friends.... Or that..... But when you saved me from that dirty troll, I felt horrible that I had been so judgmental." She trailed off. She was embarrassed about her unfinished sentence and blushed. She had almost said, Or that I could ever love you. But she didn't want to get into that conversation. Ever. She tried to come up with a decent cover up. Possibly, 'Or that my cat would ever even see your rat, much less hunt it.'
She looked down at the daisy and waited for Ron's response.

Ron sneered when Hermione rubbed in his face that he had tried casting the levitating spell correct all those years back. But it was not a sneer or annoyance, he was just acting. "I used to think you were such a jerk. That you never gave any thought to your actions or your words. Or school. I never thought that we could be such good friends.... Or that..... But when you saved me from that dirty troll, I felt horrible that I had been so judgmental." She continued and Ron rolled over on his side to face her.
His eyebrows were netted together for a moment. Or that what? He was certain that she had not been about to mention the troll. 'Or that my cat would ever even see your rat, much less hunt it.' She finished. “Ah yes,” Ron replied now. “Crookshanks, that filthy mangy excuse for a cat.” He grinned now to show he was joking. “Quite honestly, I wish the cat had eaten Pettigrew.” Ron chuckled a bit and then suddenly the spell he had been trying to cast back on his first trip on the train came back to him.
“Sunshine daisies, Butter mellow. Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow.” He said softly out loud. Ron grinned again. “And I remember what you said miss know-it –all.” He added. "Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it? I've tried a few simple spells just for practice and it's all worked for me... blah blah blah.” He recited in a high pitched voice. He was trying to make her laugh and now scooted a little closer to the female.

"Ron..Haromine!" Molly yelled at the top of her lungs from the house."you kids get in here and have some tea, I don't want you to be out strolling about for too long", she said in a concerned tone. Molly walked back in the house and went into the kitchen and shivered. She grabbed her own shoulders and held them tight and shook her head. She turned to Arthur and stated that it was quite cold out tonight and told Ron and Haromine to come in out of the evening air and to have a spot of tea before they turn in for the night. As she was walking away she said to arthur,"I think i may have interupted something and headed straight for the stove.
Molly grabbed the kettle off of the wood stove and filled it with water and made the kids favorite tea. She then grabbed the cups out of the cupboard and laid them out on their table which had a beautiful lace tablecloth that molly made. Then she grabbed the teapot and put in some loose black tea. The kettle started boiling and Molly picked up the kettle and poured the hotwater in the teapot to let the tea steep and as she was doing this she realized that the kids were not in the house where she told them to be. This made Molly furious, she hates when her children don't listen no matter how old they are. She stormed over to the door and opened it so fast that the hinges were about to fall off and screamed at them again

Hermione heaved a heavy sigh when she heard Mrs. Wealsey call out to her and Ron. She pulled herself up and stumbled, almost falling. She assumed it was due to her lack of nutrition. It was at that moment she decided she would eat more. She could not go on the journey, and they would go on the journey, in bad health. And so she vowed to get back to a healthy state.
"I guess we should go back inside." She headed back towards the house, but she turned back towards Ron after she had taken a few steps. "And I can promise you my voice, was definitely not that high pitch." She smiled the first real smile she had in days, glad that Ron had been the cause, and turned back towards the house.
Once she entered the house and saw Mrs. Wealsey in the kitchen a thought struck her. She entered the kitchen hesitantly. "Mrs. Weasley, is there anyway I could have a quick bite before I head off to bed?" She had told herself she would get healthy again, and after seeing Mrs. Weasley in the kitchen, she decided that she would start tonight. Right now.

Ron jumped slightly as his mother screamed out into the night for them. He then sighed deeply. He loved his mother but really, sometimes she could be a pain in his arse. The second scream sent chills down his back. "Mum!" He shouted back. He nodded when Hermione aid they should go in and then climbed to his feet.
When Hermione turned back to him, Ron hesitated. "And I can promise you my voice, was definitely not that high pitch." She told him and Ron gave a soft laugh. He loved to see her smile. Food, food was good and always welcome in Ron's mind. When Hermione mentioned a bite of food for bed Ron sat next to his father and said "I love this woman..." Aurthur chuckled. Ron sat back in his chair and waited for food. He stifled a yawn and when the tea was on the table he took a mouthful of his.

Once food was set down in front of Hermione, she realized how truly hungry she was. She dug into the food with such eagerness she had to completely freeze to slow down her movements. She took a deep breath, closed eyes, and began eating again more calmly.
"I don't know what has come over me lately," She said to Ron, "But it has to cease. I need to be ready for..." She trailed off, her eyes darting in Molly's direction, she couldn't say much, as she didn't want what she had to say to be overheard.
"Has Harry given much thought to things?" She asked casually between bites.

Molly poured the hot tea in the tea pot and set it on the table. She then went to the coupboard and pulled out some freshly baked rolls and preseved she had made weeks ago. She heard the door open and heard a small voice say rather quietly, "Mrs. Weasley, is there anyway I could have a quick bite before I head off to bed?".
Molly turned to her with the plate in her hand, "My goodness child you look peaky...sit sit, Molly insisted. She set the plate on the table and pulled the chair out for Haromine. "Now you sit there and have a warm cup of tea and some nice rolls" she insisted.
Ron followed in shortly Molly turned to him and wrapped her tiny hands around his cheeks and pressed hers up agaisnt his, "Your a bit chilly...go and have some tea and a snack before bed...go on." she said to him while she gave him a pat on his rear.
Molly quickly tidied up while everyone was getting settled. She then went to the table and sat herself down and blew upwards in exhausten. She then reached for the tea pot and poured herself a nice cup of tea.
"So what are your plans for tomorrow you two?" she asked Ron and Haromine, as she grabbed a roll and started to butter it rather quickly. Molly turned to her

Ron watched how quickly Hermione started eating. A shadow of a smile appeared on his lips as she obviously forced herself to slow down. "I don't know what has come over me lately," Hermione told him and Ronald nodded slightly. "But it has to cease. I need to be ready for..." Ron's eyes widened. His glanced at his mother very quickly and then back to Hermione.
"Has Harry given much thought to things?" She added saving herself a little. But Molly was not slow. "So what are your plans for tomorrow you two?" Molly asked and Ron thought quickly. "Just more of the same mum." Ron said quickly. He looked down at his food. He was finished anyways and was feeling really uncomfortable now. Molly would not take well to knowing the truth. He stood. "Bed time." Ron said with forced cheer. "Hermione?"

Molly sat there and watched the two kiddies, as they were having a snack. She noticed that Haromine looked as if she hadn't eaten in days. She looked at her youngest boy Ron and noticed that he was almost done, as he always did eat pretty fast. She waited until one of them answerd her question.
"Just more of the same mum.", he said to her trying to hide the truth. Molly watched as he gobbled up what was left over of his tea and snack and then stood, "Bed time...Haromine?. Molly slammed on the table with her hand. "Why are you rushing this girl off to bed while she is starving...she hasn't even finished..now what's going on?" she shouted at Ron.
"Sit down and tell me what is going on Ronald Weasley, because something is..I cann tell" she said to him with even more of a stern voice than before. Molly knew Ron didn't like to tell her anything, but she had noticed that the two of them seemed to be getting quite close and she wanted to know exactly what they were up too.
