In London, a child could drink as soon as he or she turned eighteen. Thanks to her being in school for her eighteenth birthday, Victoria LeMaster had not gotten the chance to celebrate properly and with Hogwarts letting back in session soon, she decided to busy celebrating. She wrapped her arms around her body and walked down the cobblestone street. Her mother had protested the idea of her going out alone in this time of war. Juno had even gone so far as to confiscate her muggle ID (which by the way her mother insisted she get.) Victoria did manage to get it back though. She just had to convince her mother she was old enough to handle herself. Moreover, really, her fathers face was just as recognizable as The Dark Lords was, with Jagger being the big bad rock star he was. Coupled with the fact he had about a dozen wanted posters out on the streets. Who was going to mess with a death eater’s daughter? Victoria spotted one of the sneering posters hanging on a window as she pasted. She missed him dearly, even if he had booted her brother from the house.
She shook that night’s memory from her head and rounded the corner into a bar. Her good friend Mason had recommended this place. He said they had the best drinks here. She whipped out her ID to show to the bouncer and continued in. The bar was not that attractive at first. The place was dimly lit, hard wood and a couple of tables were set up around the room. She was not seeing Mason’s appeal. The seating at the actual bar its self was spacious. The hard drinkers were not out yet she guessed. It was nearing twilight hour. Many of the shops were closing up for the night, so she was expecting more people to come eventually.
She ordered herself a strawberry whine cooler-something easy to start with then she might work up the nerve to go to something stronger-to start with. She took a couple of sips from the bottle and cast her eyes around as more and more people flooded in. A couple greeted her and she greeted them back. A few offered to buy her a drink but she declined their offers. She wasn’t going to risk a drink from a stranger.

William did not know what he was doing here tonight. He had so much work to do at the store. But at the same time, all work and no play was good for anyone. And so here he was getting out of a Muggle Taxi that he had met up with out front of the Leaky Cauldron. William as dressed to fit in. Blue jeans and a black dress shirt. Just something simple. It had taken him a while to decide where to go.
Now he stepped out of the taxi and then towards the club. It did not seem to be very popular but when he entered the building, it became obvious what the charm of this place was. It was small and relaxed. The bar was carefully structure to give off good vibes. He liked it. William moved now across the room towards the bar.
His eyes fell on the other people here. Muggles...all of them, he was sure of that. It was a good thing that William was Half Blood. He knew how to behave with Muggles. William moved to a bar stood and slowly sat. When the bartender approached, William order a simple bottle of beer. It was all he wanted right now. He sipped from it just feeling himself unwind.

Victoria smiled as the bar filled with people and the atmosphere brightened up. It was mostly muggles filing in. The Slytherin in her told her to sneer but the girl who just wanted to blend over powered the sneer. Music filled the air. That was something she knew every well. She tapped her foot along with the rhythm. People still found a reason to smile and sing in the times of war. She hummed along with a couple of the songs she knew-which was a good chunk of them. Victoria even started singing along. OK, now she saw why Mason loved this place. A man walked up to her and asked her for a dance. She did not see the harm. She finished up her drink before leading the person lead her out on the dance floor. She has twelve years of dance classes under her belt. As if that even mattered.
When the song finished, Victoria scuttled back to her seat and ordered another wine cooler. . Tonight was starting really well. She was having fun. All the drama at home was melting away. She was forgetting about Mackenzie, her father and Emmett.
Another man that walked in to the bar caught her eyes. He was one of the quiet few in the bar tonight. Victoria took a sip of her drink and slid off the chair. She walked over to him " Mind if I sit down? " She asked.

" Mind if I sit down? " William heard and turned his head slightly at the voice. He was surprised. William had not expected anyone to talk to him. He looked around discreetly to see if it was him she was talking about. He was the only one in the proximity. He shrugged. "Of course." William told her after a short moment. It was a free country after all.
William drank from the bottle again and watched as she joined him. "I'm William." He told her after a few moments of silence. The place was really filling up now and William watched the variety of people. He turned towards the girl. She was interesting looking at least. He glanced down at her drink. "Can I buy you another?" He asked her. William brushed his blond hair from his eyes.
(sorry it's short. Once they get talking or something, it will be longer)

The person started looking around when she asked him to sit down. She was the only one in the area so of course she meant him. Victoria smiled at him and slipped in beside the male. She crossed her horse like legs and turned to him to ignore the other loud patrons in the bar.
Merci. “ She said. “I’m Victoria. “ She said holding her hand out to him. She shook his hand then laid her palm on her knee. Victoria peered down at her bottle. "Can I buy you another?" He asked her. She was close by so she did not mind. “Sure, Strawberry wine cooler, please. “ She said to him. She peered back at him. He wasn’t bad looking at all. She smiled a coy little smile at him.
“Where are you from Mr. William? “ She asked him. He had an accent to his voice when he spoke. She was just curious to know.

William nodded when she agreed to have him buy her next drink. He ordered the cooler and then turned towards her in his chair. Victoria. a pretty name though he did not say anything flattering just yet. Wiliam saw the smile play on her lips and he grinned softly himself. It looked like this night could end up being quite interesting evening.
“Where are you from Mr. William?" She asked now. William's smile grew slightly. So his accent was obviously noticeable. He chuckled softly. "I am from America, Ma'am." He replied in a soft tone. William finished his beer and then ordered another. He met the young ladies eyes. And she was young. Younger than him anyways.
William had no way of knowing that this girl before him way a Witch. And so he thought to himself that if she had grown up in his world, she would surely be on the line of graduating. The music dropped a bit and there was a flock at the bar. William noticed the looks he was getting. Many muggle found him to be attractive. There was however, also a male who had a look of pain and distrust but William did not bother with it. He waited not exactly sure what to say to the girl. He could easily say something that would give himself away and he did not want to do that.

" I am from America, Ma'am. " He answered. She did not know if he was being nice by saying Ma'am or not. Victoria had been taught to call someone Mister or missus. Her father had installed it in her since he took her on the road with his band so much when she was a kid. That's also where her deep love of music grew from. Victoria took a swing of her whine cooler.
" I've been there a couple times before. " She said. " My fathers band toured there a few summers ago. " She added. He did not look like he listened to the brand of rock music Jagger created, so saying the name of the band wouldn't help her there. In the deepest part of her, she did not want to mention her father anymore then that. She peered down at her hands then at him again. " What brings you England, William? " She asked him over the music. It was not safe for muggle and witch alike were in danger just roaming the streets.

William nodded when she had said that she had been to America a few times. He was interested in her fathers band but something in her change in attitude told him not to ask about it. William could read people like that. " What brings you England, William? " She asked now and William hesitated. He did not know this woman and did not readily know if she was a Muggle or a Witch.
He did not feel comfortable guessing at this so he replied "I recently took over a store. A pet specialty shop." That was enough said without saying too much. William dank from his bottle. They club was pretty packed now and people were bumping into each other.
He finished his beer and was about to order another when the music changed to something he enjoyed even more. "On second thought," He said. "Would you like to dance, Victoria?" He was not very good at fast music but was quite nice when it came to slow dances. He tilted his head slightly waiting for her to reply.

A couple people elbowed Victoria in the back of the head as the club filled. She rubbed the back of her head, grumbling as she looked back at the crowd. She turned her eyes to William again. The music slowed down from the last one. "Would you like to dance, Victoria?" He asked her. His head tilt was adorable. She smiled at it and nodded. She never pasted up a dance in the past.
" I would as a matter of fact. " She answered. Victoria finished her drink before popping to her feet. She held out her hand to him and waited for him to take it. When he did, they wove their way into the dance floor. ((I'm sorry its so short. ))

" I would as a matter of fact. " She told him and William smiled softly. He watched as she finished her drink and then took the offered hand in his. He followed her to the dance floor and they moved in with the Muggles. Unlike other Wizards, William did not mind being close to Muggles. He liked them.
William slipped one arm around her waist and pulled her a little closer to him while the other hand brushed back some soft hair from her face. William was a little taller then her but they made a pretty picture together. William moved slowly to the music. He was confidant and relaxed. William's blond hair fell forward and into his eyes as he lowered his head to whisper into her ear. "You're very pretty Victoria." He told her softly. He blew teasingly on her ear lobe and his eyes moved to meet hers. the beers had made him a bit of a flirt.

Victoria inched towards him as he pulled. She stumbled a bit but regained her footing. Crudy wedges. His hands set at her hips. Each little touch made her shiver. She smiled up at him as her hair moved away from her face. Victoria snaked her arms around his neck. His demenor had changed after a couple drinks. She liked a confident man. The wine coolers were taking affect on her now.
"You're very pretty Victoria." He said to her. Victoria was use to hearing this from males. Ever since her transformation when she was fifteen, compliments like that came left and right. But hearing the words from his mouth, this stranger with whom she had only shared a couple words with, made her feel it. Before she could answer him back, he blew on her ear lobe. Her skin prickled. She reached up and cupped his cheek in her hand. " Merci. " She said. She kissed the bridge of her nose before givng him her eyes again.

William smiled at the gentle kiss. It was nice and different. Most women were one of two kinds. Either the kind who could not take a compliment or the kind who were superficial, thought they were Gods gift and expected compliments. He liked that this girl seemed to be neither. William held her a little closer and moved to the beat of the song. He was aware of the glances they both were getting but he was also aware of how she felt up against him. Her body was warm and she smelled good. He liked that. He was a gentleman however.
His eyes did not wonder downwards to her chest put stayed fixed on hers. His hands remained where they were as well. maybe he would get a chance to explore later but most likely not. When the song ended, William stood still for a moment and then slowly released her. He was unsure if he should stay there for another dance or just walk off the dance floor. finally, William gave her a smile. "Do you want another drink?" He asked her softly. William took a step back and then with a quick look behind him, he headed back to his seat.
(Sorry am not sure what to do here)

Victoria watched him leave after his question before she could answer. She went back to her seat and nodded. " Just water this time, though. " She said. The alcohol in her last few drinks where starting to take effect on her. Sad part was, she only had two of little whine coolers. Her vision was a tad fuzzy but a quick shake of her wheat blonde head took care of that. She slid into the spot next to him and leaned on the bar. When her drink came, she spun to the crowd. Her fingers gripped the cold glass of the cup and water droplets jumped over her fingers as they ran down her glass.
More people had packed into the bar, making her feel uncomfortable as hell. She wiggled to get comfortable but couldn't. Victoria looked at William again. She didn't want to leave his presence. " Want to get out of here? It's getting to crowded for my taste. " She said running her elf like pinky around the edge of the glass. The night was still young and Victoria had a lot of celebrating to do before she was shipped back to Hogwarts for another year.

William took her in as she leaned against the bar. He was enthralled with the curves of her frame. And by the way she moved, it was clear that the little bit of alcohol she had had was enough to make her tipsy. Not that he would take advantage of that but at the same time, William doubted he would push her away.
" Want to get out of here? It's getting to crowded for my taste. " She asked him and William looked at her for a short moment. He was perfectly aware of the fact that she most likely dd not mean what he was thinking but that did not change the fact that yes, yes he wanted to get out of here. He nodded and then stood. William paid the pub owner and then motioned with one arm for her to lead the way.
He didn't mind going wherever she would like. Something told him that this could end up in his favor. William followed her out of the club. The night had grown slight chilled but not too badly. "Where did you want to go?" William asked softly. He stepped up closer to her side and then slipped one arm smoothly around her slender waist. He glanced only briefly at the women waiting outside in the line to the club. Normally he would gladly look back but tonight, William had his mind on someone else.

Victoria lead the way out of the club -she swore she felt a hand grab her free hand though- and into the chilled end of summer breeze. She took his offered arm and stayed close to him. Victoria pulled her jacket tighter around her body. She loved the night time. Everything from twilight to dawn was her favorite time of day. Her and some friends had a long running joke that Victoria should have been born an owl or a vampire rather then a witch. Everything from the long day just melted away as they walked into the darkness, only using street lamps, star light and the slivers of moonlight that seemed to run down on the grass then hide in the green blades. She took in a deep breath of air then exhaled slowly. Beautiful night to just be out with someone.
Victoria steered him towards an empty park. " Some where quiet. " She said to him. She wanted to avoid the bars since everyone was coming out of the wood work now and the clubs were filling up with muggles and wizards alike. Victoria had never been one to stand in the middle of a large crowd. Put her on stage and she didn't flinch. She couldn't explain that at all. The drinks she had earlier were affecting her walking or maybe it was the fact she wasn't use to trotting around in these heels. She stumbled but quickly regained her footing quickly and looked up at him.
The pair pasted through eh arched gate ways of the park. The lot was completely void of people other then Victoria and William. " I love this time. " She said softly. She slid onto a park bunch and patted the spot beside her. She didn't bite unless asked.
