Rhye had one pesky shoe to slip on. Picking it up, he pulled his foot up off the ground, slipping his feet into the tip of the shoe. Turning sharply on his heel, he got it on, but managed to smack into a dresser, falling over helplessly with the coatrack following closely. "Damnit!" He yelped sharply, slipping out from under the coatrack and getting back up, finally ready. Fixing everything, he was pretty much the last boy in his dorm not at at the celebration. Smoothing himself off, he left his dorm.
Two things blew his mind. The fact that Ophelia was going to look so beautiful at the dance, and the fact that when he left the dorm, she was there. He hadn't expected her to be there- and he really hadn't expected her to be there at the bottom of the staircase- laughing. Making his way down towards her with his brows furrowed in thought, he playfully smacked her on the arm. "What are you doing here? And why are you laugh-" He remembered his fall, it must have created a huge thud. He grimaced, rubbing the back of his neck where the coatrack hit, and sighed. "You are a sad, sad woman. Laughing at me when I fall."
She tried to hold back a grin. "I'm sorry, Sweets." Ophelia giggled and leaned up to kiss Rhye. "Now that we are officially late," she gave him a look, "Can we please get to the festivities?" She slipped her hand into his.
Rhye chuckled and corrected- "We're fashionably late- its totally okay." And with that, they headed to the dance.
~~~()~~~()~~~()~~~
When they entered the place, green covered the dance floor to the ceiling. It was spectacular. Green was one of Rhye's favorite colors, second to the color of Ophelia's eyes which was his number one favorite. Looking over the crowd, he saw Caesar and Emma playing around, Alexis, two Gryffindors who's names he didn't know, Luna, the Slytherin Theodore, and Duncan.
Ophelia tried to wave to him but the little guy ignored her. He was there with another little Slytherin girl. Rhye sent Duncan a wink, nodding his head in approval before looking at Ophelia. "He's growing up so fast. I'm so proud of him."
"I see Delphi and Caesar got back together. I'm glad." She leaned into him. "Tonight is going to be so much fun!" She practically squealed, tugging his hand and dragging him towards the refreshments where two Gryffindor's stood. "He looks so nervous." She whispered.
Rhye nodded at her statement about Caesar and Emma, then looked to where her eyes wandered. Two Gryffindors were talking, the guy had asked her to dance. He grinned, shaking his head. "He is nervous. But don't worry, she'll say yes." The two of them got drinks and he sighed, loving the atmosphere in the Hall. "Yes, indeed. Tonight will be really fun!" He winked down to his date and took her in with his eyes, studying her features. Leaning into her ear, he whispered. "You know, you are the most beautiful one here."
"Thanks goodness." Ophelia sighed. "I was getting so thirsty. Who would have thought waiting for Ravenclaw's Pretty Boy would bring me to be so parched." She grinned, looking over the rim of her cup as she took a sip. "Besides, I thought I was the one that was always late."
Rhye snorted. "And to think I took the time to look extra nice for you. I see how it is, you jerk."
Simone was happily swaying to the music and humming softly to herself when she felt a tap on her shoulder and the sound of a male clearing his throat. Simone smiled to herself.
'Let the games begin.'
The girl opened her eyes and was startled by who had chosen to tap on her shoulder. It was Aeric Calemund. He was, by far, one of the better looking seventh years in the school; the two had spoken a few times. All of which had Simone trying to flirt with the boy, but he either didn't get the hint, or didn't want to get the hint. So it was here that Simone smiled, raising an amused eyebrow.
“Would you care for a dance?” His icy blue eyes gazed questioningly.
Simone had to will her heart to not speed up. The boy seemed nervous, but it was no secret that Aeric had a flirtatious side to him. Not that she had seen it personally, unfortunately. From what she had heard, Aeric was just as flirtatious as her, if not more so. She couldn't help but wonder if acting nervous was part of his game or not. She suspected it was.
"It only took you seven years to ask." She smiled softly. Simone leaned forward slightly, reaching behind Aeric to set her cup down on the table. The girl took his hand in hers and turned to head for the center of the room, where the designated "dancing zone" was, but was brought up short when Alexis approached, drink in hand.
"Good music, huh? Names Alexis,"
Simone smiled widely at her fellow Gryffindor. "Yes," she pointed up, but at nothing in particular, "One of my favorite songs was just playing. My name's Simone. It's nice to meet you." She held out her free hand, as the other one was still clasped to Aeric's.
When Simone turned to face him Aeric grinned, she was so beautiful, especially with that smile of hers. Maybe this evening was going to turn out well after all? Although, she seemed amused; did he look funny? Did she not want to dance with him? Was she waiting for somebody else? His mind flashed with all of the possible things that could cause that eyebrow to raise in what he assumed was an amused expression.
’Its nothing Aeric, just calm down already or she will think you’re an idiot.’ So Aeric slowed his nervous heart rate with a couple of deep breaths.
Of course, his heart immediately sped up at Simone’s next words, "It only took you seven years to ask.”
He grinned crookedly, feeling rather sheepish and he really didn’t know why. All she had said was that he was late in asking! It seemed that anything she said would make him nervous or excited though. Every time that he had spoken to her previously he had been all ready to flirt and woe her, but each and every time he had frozen in her gaze and forgotten all words of ‘magic’ that he had planned to say. Thus, she left him feeling unable to do anything but smile and nod to what she had to say. She must have thought him rather slow.
“I’m sorry for that, truly; but as my mother always says, better late than never!” He smiled happily down at his new dance partner. He couldn’t have hoped for more!
Aeric waited excitedly for Simone to be ready, and when he felt her hand in his, his smile widened. To the dance floor it was! Or at least, after speaking to Alexis who had come over. He could wait, he had thought of this moment for nearly seven years after all!
He smiled at the girl before them, his eyes darting longingly to the dance floor. Alright, so maybe he couldn’t wait. Nonetheless, he held out his free hand as well, shaking his fellow Gryffindor’s hand before looking out across the floor to the dance area. He really wanted to dance with Simone. And there was no way he was going to release her hand until he had.
"Hmmm." She said in pretend thought.
Caesar held back a laugh.
"Not Caesar? Well that only leaves Rhye, whom I know is with Ophelia. Hmmm. Not Caesar. Definitely not Caesar," She grinned. "Caesar would no better then to rest his head on my hair that I spent forever trying to make perfect just for him." "
Shit. He pulled his hands off of her eyes, removed his chin from her head, and spun her around after grabbing her hand. Once she faced him, he snuck a kiss in, a grin on his lips. Pulling away from her, he held both her hands in his, taking in her dress and hair. Breathtaking, gorgeous, stunning. He couldn't think of anything to say, so his mouth hung open like an idiot, a goofy smile on his face.
"You- you look so... pretty." Pretty? You could do better than that! Where's your inner poet? Sweep her off your feet! He shook his head out, unable to think of anything that would make her feel any more special. "Really pretty." A grin spread across his lips, and he snapped back into reality.
"Oh, I am sorry! Do you want a drink? You're probably thirsty." This was the Yule Ball all over again. He was forgetting everything he knew about being a gentleman. "Here, lets go." He offered her his arm and nodded down to her, leading them past two Gryffindors, and to the drink table. Filling up a glass for her, he handed it to her carefully, then filled the other for himself.
Looking around the room at all the girls, he couldn't help but feel they were all second best to Emma. This was the first time they had ever really went out together since the big fight, and he wasn't going to spoil it.
Turning his eyes to Emma's, he couldn't help a silly smile appearing. "I love you, so much." He leaned in to her ear and kissed her earlobe, letting his free hand wrap around her waist, planting kisses on her cheek and jaw. "You really do look stunning, perfect.." He trailed off, unable to describe it.
Suddenly Delphi could see again, and the pressure on her head vanished. Her visual clarity lasted only seconds, because before she could process what was happening, everything was blurry and she was spinning around. And then almost immediately she was being kissed. She smiled.
"Definitely Caesar." She muttered against his lips. Caesar held her arms out and just stared. He could stare all he wanted. Delphi was far too interested in how he looked. Caesar looked dressed for a wedding. Minus the green bow-tie of course. She laughed inwardly. She wouldn't put it passed him to wear a green bow-tie at his wedding. However, Delphi was nervous. She had already begun to second guess her entire outfit, accessories, the works. What if he didn't like it? But when she saw his face, she laughed.
"Kneazle got your tongue?" Delphi asked playfully, releasing one of Caesar's hands and using the other to spin her self around like a ballerina.
"You- you look so... pretty."
The Ravenclaw used her free hand to cover her giggles.
"Caesar Harrington. Such a way with words." She laughed. Caesar always knew how to make her blush with his words. He was a poet. A romantic poet- though he would never admit it out loud. He was too "manly" for that. But on the inside, he was just a sweet teddy bear. Snake on the outside, soft and fuzzy on the inside. She laughed loudly at her own thoughts, stopping suddenly and blushing at her random outburst.
"Really pretty." A grin spread across his lips, and he snapped back into reality.
"Really, really, really pretty?" Delphi grinned, shaking her head. "You, my Love, are beautiful." She remembered the time he had corrected her for that. "I'm sorry- handsome. And you are all mine. Always and forever. Caesar, Caesar, Caesar." She laughed, so beyond thrilled at their time together. It felt like their first date at the Yule Ball all over again.
"Caesar, relax sweetie." Delphi looked up at him with a smile when he offered her his arm. "I'm not dying of thirst." She chuckled and rested her head against his shoulder as they walked.
Delphi watched a few Gryffindors interact near the drinks until Caesar handed her a cup of green liquid. She peered down into it and then glanced around the room. Her eyes met with Caesars and she grinned.
"Think anyone has spiked it?" Her eyes twinkled with laughter.
"I love you, so much." Caesar leaned in to Delphi and kissed her earlobe. Delphi's immediate response was a giggle and to jerk her shoulder up at the tickling feeling, luckily Caesar had already moved from earlobe to her cheek and jaw. She felt his hand snake around the small of her back and pull her closer.
"I love you more." She breathed into his ear. Her breath hot and moist
"You really do look stunning, perfect..." He trailed off, unable to describe it.
Delphi positively beamed. "To good for me Caesar Harrington. Too good..."
Lume had heard that it was going to be a St. Patrick's day party and being Lume she had to be the one to show up dressed to be the best and have some fun. Lume did not have any classes today so she decided to spend the day getting all dolled up. Getting out of bed she stretched and proceeded to making her bed and tiding up her room. After she was do not that she went to take a quick shower and change into presentable clothes and get ready to get her hair and nails done. Moving to the mirror she checked herself outfit in the mirror. Errand Outfit: ClickSatisfied the way that she looked she headed out of hogesmade and went to get her nails feet and hair done for the celebration tonight. She wanted to look the best so she spent a good amount of time getting ready. After waiting a while she was finally done getting all dolled up. On her way back to Hogwarts Lume was careful with how she moved and made sure that she did not mess up her nails or hair. Once home she waited another hour or so just listening to music till it was time to get dressed. Placing on her dress and shoes she smiled when she looked at herself in her full length mirror. Her eyes matched her outfit and her hair stood out in loveliness. She was almost ready though. Moisturizing her body and putting on smell good spray she way ready and the party was surely started. Outfit: ClickHair: ClickNails: ClickSmiling she placed on red lipstick and soft eye shadow. Heading to the had she was confident with the way that she looked. Smiling she looked and saw that there were already people there. Lume had then walked further into the hall and took a seat silently, seeing as though she has no one to dance with.
Cassidy woke to the dull sound of music filtering into her room she rolled over and tried to hide her head to sleep more but failed as she realized it was St. Patrick's day and the music was that of the dance. Slowly she sat up and saw a green dress now hung on the back of her door along with a pair of shoes. pinned to it was a note. " Dear Cassidy, I knew you didn't have a nice dress, so here's one for you, Happy St Patrick's day. ."It was not signed but she liked the dress. After she had showered she dressed and held the shoes tightly in her hand as she didn't want to fall and brake her neck on them. reaching the doors she stopped and slipped on her shoes they actually made her an inch or two bigger as she stepped through into the room where all the music was playing and people seem to be having a good time. She moved to a refreshment table and took a soda moving to one side as she brushed her brushed hair to one side. Cassidys outfit
Severus hated going to these things. he was so not a party person. He did not like a lot of noise or people or children... He was in the wrong profession. Severus sighed and then left his office. The only change he had made to his attire was a mint green scarf under his top instead of the normal white one. That was at a certain professors constant request.
He made his way downstairs slowly and then to the great hall. Many students were already there as were professors. Severus sighed once more wishing he was either up in his office or in his quarters. He was a man who liked solitude. But he knew that was not an option of course. Back straight and only greeting those who greeted him, Severus moved up the room to the head table. He moved along behind it until he had reached his seat and then sat slowly.
At his side was the Deputy Headmistress. She seemed like she had been enjoying the green alcoholic drink a bit already. Severus poured himself some of the drink. He sipped and then said "Mmm...." It was good and it left a pleasant burn down his throat to his stomach. Severus leaned back a little in his chair and watched the students mingle. This was good for them he supposed. Though he did not care for all the green.
Toward a week Sarah knew the results and had not said anything to anyone about ... pregnancy. She was so afraid to tell, fear of rejection, fear that he did not want the child she had in her womb, as fear his daughters would react on hearing the news. Severus would suspect something in the way which she had been behaving, in a distant, sad and absent. She had not yet attended the party and had vowed that she would come to Severus as the partner of the headmaster of Hogwarts. For that special evening dress she had chosen a comfortable, no tight because the belly was growing up, she was three months pregnant. The long skirt of her dress would hide her state of good hope. Before entering the great hall which was full of students danced, laughed, chattered all over the room was elegantly decorated. Sarah had a little pain in the feet that had swollen. So she waved to all students and walked to sit in a chair near the door of the great room. She climbed the black corset because her breasts had also grown considerably. Sarah took a glass of punch without alcohol and rested as she watched all students enjoy the feast of St. Patrick. dress; promatgenealogy.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/6029.jpg?w=510
"Yes! Finally!" Cordelia Harrington flew off the bed towards her best friend Chyna. "Thank you so much for retrieving it!" She was bouncing on her heels in anticipation as she took the package from her Slytherin friend and ran over to the small desk by her bed. Cordelia had contacted the guy from Durmstrang she was betrothed to and asked him to send her a potion. It wasn't for headaches, upset stomach, or any sort of medical remedy. No- this baby would odorless and colorlessly spike whatever drink had been chosen for the Celebration. Well- it wasn't really a celebration until someone passed out drunk. Chyna and Cordelia had been planning it for at least a week. She pulled the small, but powerful, vial from the package. She glanced at the letter that the boy had included before tossing it aside, nostrils flared. Cordelia still couldn't decide what she thought about being betrothed to a guy she had never personally met. But he did come in handy. "This is going to be a wonderful night, Chyna." Cordelia smiled mischievously, holding the vial up to a light, shaking her head. The vial was clear and pristine, as she was herself. But within it's shell was a poison of sorts. One that, if dealt with improperly, would prove dangerous- another likeness she shared. With a smirk, Cordelia slipped the small vial into her cleavage where it was well hidden by her dress. She had been ready for a few hours now, only waiting for the potion to arrive. She turned to her best friend. "Are you ready?" ~()~()~()~()~()~ Cordelia walked into the Great Hall smoothly and casually. She spotted a variety of students, including her twin brother Caesar and his Ravenclaw girlfriend Delphi Emma. Cordelia thought the girl smart and clever, but it didn't matter. Their parents were already talking to someone about a betrothal- they hadn't told Caesar about it yet. Her eyes landed on Theodore. He of all people would appreciate what she was about to do; he didn't seem to be a fan of these gatherings. Cordelia stopped in the middle of the dance floor with Chyna, spinning around like the two were dancing. She laughed, pretending to have a good time. After everyone had turned back to their business, ignoring the newcomers, she made to be telling Chyna that she was going to get a drink. The Slytherin walked by Theo's table, giving him a flirtatious wink. Once she got to the refreshment table she turned her head casually and gave a slight nod to Chyna. They had planned the perfect distraction. Cordelia smirked as she heard gasps and the click of heels snapping across the floor. She quickly slipped the vial from her cleavage and opened it- pretending to reach across the table over the green punch bowl, she poured the alcoholic liquid into the green fluid. She watched as absolutely nothing happened. Cordelia chuckled and turned around towards everyone. 'Let the party begin.' She smirked to herself, grabbing herself a solo cup, and began to sip slowly at the tampered drink.
"This is going to be a wonderful night, Chyna." Cordelia smiled mischievously, holding the vial up to a light, shaking her head. As Cordelia shifted and flailed around about the potion, Chyna finished getting ready. Her black knee-length dress had lace up the sleeves and chest, just a little bit formal, but she topped it off with a green and beige colored scarf, with a faded cheetah print. "You bet it will be, but," she pointed with her finger playfully, "it won't be until we get there." She eyed her best friend and grinned, a playful punch being sent to her pal's shoulder. "Are you ready?"Once Cordelia got around, concealing the vile in her dress, Chyna pulled on her black laced booties and checked herself out once more in the lengthy mirror that they shared. Perfect. Her hair was in tight curls, all pulled up around her neck, her bangs out and straight, swaying to one side in a feathered manner. Looking over at Cordelia, she nodded. "We look good." She teased, an innocent gleam in her ever so devilish black orbs. "It's always the pretty ones that spike the punch." And with that, they were off. ~()~()~()~()~()~ The Great Hall was beautiful, but it would look more beautiful as blood alcohol levels raised. Giving a group of younger Ravenclaw boys a suggestive wink, she twirled with Cordelia and the two faked a conversation about getting drinks. Everything had been planned, literally, for weeks. Chyna was going to cause a scene while Cordelia nonchalantly went to "get a drink", and spill the vile into the bowl. Now was her time. As Cordelia nodded her way, Chyna turned around to the group, clutching her heart dramatically. "Someone," she gasped, "I need help." Once a few people turned her way, Chyna held an inward smirk and fell to her knees, gasping for deep breaths and falling back. Just in time, though, one of the professors and a few students had already come to her aide, giving no attention to the refreshments as they were turned away. She let her eyes roll back, a desperate attempt to convince them if not already, that she was passed out cold. After a few minutes of her cheek being patted, and a cold drink of water pressed to her lips, she opened her eyes and slowly 'recovered' from her incident. "What just happened?" Her eyelashes fluttered, regulating her breathing to a little bit faster than normal, enough to convince them that she was startled. After being questioned, she was helped up and she brushed herself off, a grin crawling sneakily over her features. She made her way back to Cordelia as she turned around. An understanding nod, and she cocked her head to the side and winked, finally looking around to the students who had showed up. "So Rhye and Ophelia came together. As usual. How long do you think it took him to get ready?" Her eyebrows wiggled playfully, and she laughed. "Probably took him longer than her."With that said, she leaned back, on nothing really, and sighed. How long would it take for people to get drunk off their minds? Chyna turned around, got herself a drink, and with a playful laugh, she gulped more than half of it, licking her rosy red stained lips in satisfaction. "Delicious."
Iven buttoned up his cardigan slowly, watching himself in the mirror. Running a hand along his chin as he finished, he grimaced. The Slytherins who were staying in the dorm to get drunk tonight laughed at him and hopped off the beds to crowd around Iven. "You need to shave."Iven wiggled his shoulder out from one of the boys' grasp and he sighed. "Are you guys going to get drunk off your asses and have a big dog pile on Jarrod's bed when I get back?" A roar of laughter came from behind him and Iven couldn't help but laugh with them, a twinkle in his eyes. These were some of his best friends. "Because, you know, I will join you guys later. Cordelia is going to spike the punch so I'll come back completely off my rockers."The boys all laughed until he mentioned Cordelia, then they all turned on him and pinched his cheeks, ruffling his neatly combed hair. "Iven and Cordelia, sitting in a tree- wait, how does that muggle thing go again?" They teased, shaking him around for a moment before heading back to the beds to finish off their bottles of "poison". "Are you going to tell her tonight, Iven?"As he fixed his hair and floated towards the door, he turned around and grinned mischievously. "Depends on how drunk I get." A wave of 'Oooooh's started booming as he closed the door behind him and jogged down the corridor, heading to the Great Hall. ---(~)--(~)--(~)--- Yeah, you should have shaved. Iven's hand ran along his chin again, shaking his negative thoughts out of his mind. Once he arrived, his eyes went around the room, uninterested, until they landed on Cordelia. As Chyna brushed herself off from the commotion, he slithered past her to get around to Cordelia. She had turned around to get a drink at this point, and he sighed. She looked so adorable. How was he going to tell her that he indeed did love her? She was to be married to some douche in Durmstrang. Iven couldn't bring it upon himself to get close to her, confess his feelings, then be hurt because of the planned marriage. That's what you get when you love the heiress of a line of magical thrones.Disregarding his convictions, he proceeded to extend his arms out as he approached her, goosing her in the lower back and side, hoping she would be startled. His deeper laugh emitted, clasping his hand to his mouth so that she wouldn't hear him. But he couldn't stop the chuckles that followed, muffled by his hand. "Hey." He said quietly, uncovering his mouth to show a sneaky little smirk. Reaching around her as she turned around, he enclosed on her personal space to dip his cup into the bowl and fill it up, bringing it back to his lips to sip at it slowly, his eyes on hers.
"Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage...."
This was the song that David was singing on the way to the hall. He had been forced to go, as apparently it was mandatory but he hadn't made much of an effort. He was wearing a black hoodie, which was a new craze in England at the time, blue jeans and black hightop converse, honestly David couldn't be asked with parties.
He was Straight-Edge meaning that he was against drugs, smoking and alcohol which was probably going to be a major part of this party. This theory was confirmed when he followed some people into the hall and saw the large bowl of "Punch".
Despite all this "fun" David slowly moved away to a less crowded place of the hall and sat down on a chair on a table where no-one was. Finally he removed his wand and begun to rotate it in small circles so that silver smoke begun to appear in the shape of circles, before turning into various animals such as dogs, cats and even a gorilla!
In his head David begun to "speak" with the voices for which he kept against his will within his mind. They were pleasantly calm today, and quite uplifting, David then yawned quietly.
"The world is a vampire...."
He quietly sung to himself.
Asher Herring fixed his bow-tie before entering the Great Hall. His eyes were assaulted by the myriad of all things green and he turned his head away and faked a gag. It's going to be one hell of a night. He shook his head before turning to enter the room further- a smirk gracing his features. He ran his eyes around the room. It seemed to be infested with Slytherins. He saw a few Ravenclaw's and only two Hufflepuff's seemed to be present at the moment. A seventh year who he knew to be David sat alone. Asher wondered if the boy was waiting for a lady friend.
The Gryffindor raised his hand and gave the Hufflepuff a wave. "Hey Osler!" He smiled friendly and continued his walk through. He came upon one of best friends who was a Ravenclaw, but was a year younger then him. Asher literally side-slid up to Rhye, running a hand across his back from shoulder to shoulder. "Hey baby." He busted out laughing before switching sides and resting an arm around Rhye's girlfriend Ophelia's shoulders. He looked down at her, as he easily towered over her.
"So Lia, how long did it take your pretty boy to get ready tonight?" He winked at her. "You know why it takes him so long, right?" Asher glanced at Rhye, looking for a reaction. "It's because it takes him hours to look worthy enough to stand in your presence." He took a step back, taking on of her hands in his and kissing the top of it politely with a graceful bow. When he rose, he saw exactly who he wanted to see across the room. Asher Herring made eye contact with Chyna Ngui, his face broke into a stupid grin and he only broke eye contact when Rhye's voice cut through. Asher shook his head, clearing the daze, and smiled between his two friends. "Well, I do believe I will be taking my leave now." He walked to the other side of the couple, his back now to the most beautiful girl in the room. Asher looked back down at Ophelia. "If this guy," he pointed with his thumb to Rhye, "fails in dancing at least ten times with you tonight, come find me." He winked at her jokingly, and with a final smile at Rhye, he turned and walked away.
Asher was heading for the refreshment table where the lovely Slytherin stood, along with a group of other people. The Gryffindor passed a table where a few Ravenclaws sat. "Good Evening Luna. You are looking spectacularly beautiful today." He dipped his head politely. Asher turned to the solemn looking and much younger fourth year. "Darling, you look beautiful." He winked playfully at her, hoping to put her spirits in a better place before continuing on his journey to the girl he hoped to one day make his. He couldn't help it if he had fallen madly in love with her the day that had entered the first year boats together. He had been so mesmerized by her personality and her big gorgeous brown eyes on that sparkling night. It was a long boat ride from the station to the castle. And it was more then enough time for him to realize how unique and special the girl was. Unfortunately for Asher, it was also the day Chyna decided she didn't like him much. Perhaps it was the completely ridiculous pickup line he had used on her. Asher had heard the line from another Pure Blood student on the bus, one of the Weasley twins actually, and had decided to use it on the pretty dark skinned girl. She didn't seem to like it too much.
"Hey pretty ladies." Asher spoke confidently, but only making eye contact with the most beautiful of the two. Chyna looked- she looked beyond words. Her dress hugged her body beautifully and modestly. It was classy and elegant. His eyes drank her in and his heart melted. Before he realized it, the boy, as he dubbed it, 'stupid grin' returned and he said, "Hi." He leaned into her 'bubble' to get a cup and fill it with the liquid. He took a step back, recognizing his boundaries, and took a sip. The liquid tasted...off. He saw a gleam in the other Slytherin, Cordelia's eyes and his own eyes widened. He looked back down at Chyna and smirked. "You sneaky Slytherin. You absolutely breathtaking, sneaky Slytherin." His face softened into a warm smile.
As Alexis smiled a bit as she and Simone met; watching Simone and Aeric hold hands getting ready to dance, Alexis nodded, "Nice to meet you as well. I better let you guys go, it appears Aeric is getting anxious to dance with you." Smiling, she excused herself to allow them to dance as she made her way to refill her glass with punch; this time taking a sip and noticing a different flavor to the punch, a much better flavor. That's when she spotted Lume enter the Great Hall and take a seat. Alexis made her way over to her Slytherin friend as she looked at all the others now entering the Hall; including her father and Sarah. Waving to the pair of them, acknowledging their presence, she continued towards Lume.
"Hey Lume, fair party? It would be nice to have someone to dance with though, however," she said taking another sip of punch, "At least the punch is delicious."
