The Great Hall again was ready for another celebration. It was one of Proffesor Mcgonagle's favorite party's. She always had great fun on St. Patrick's Day, and was one of the only times you would see her smile alot. She was incharge of this special event. She decorated it with bright green clovers dangling from the celing , green ribbons were draping everywhere, and the napkins and center peices on the tables were of course green in colour aswell. She was sitting at the head table with other members of the staff. She was really enjoying sipping her green drink that she had prepared for herself, while watching all the students entering The Great Hall for a night of dancing, snacking and of course...the famous green punch (student friendly). Music was playing in The Great Hall while everyone started to enter. "Oh this will be fun", Mcgonagle said to herself while folding her hands together in excitement. She smiled greatly as the Great Hall was filling up fast. Attachments:

Jasper walked into the Great Hall to see it decorated for the St. Paddy's Day festivities. Being Scottish, himself, the day really had no meaning to him but he did also know that the Scots originally came from Ireland and so he enjoyed the holiday; especially all the green (adult friendly) drinks. He walked up to the staff table where he joined in the seat next to McGonagoll and smiled in her direction, "Love the decorations. This, I think, will take some pressure of the students from worrying about what is to come with this war and such."
Being a reporter for the Daily Prophet, Jasper often wrote about what had been happening at Hogwarts; anonymously of course, ever since Snape took over as headmaster and all the professors except for a select few were Death Eaters were hired. Jasper felt that the run of the school was taking a turn and not for the good either. Purebloods were taking over, Death Eaters were running everything from discipline to torturing first years. And most of the muggleborns were not even returning, except for a few that Jasper had seen around the school. Hogwarts was just not the same anymore.
He prepared himself a green drink as he watched the students file into the Great Hall and just thinking to himself about how this war needs to end so things can be good and fair once again.

Eric walked in to the Great Hall, and was happy to see that the place looked amazing. Being scottish himself he loved this day, just as much as he loved to drink. He took a glance at the head table and noticed that Prof. McGonagle and Prof. Micheals were sitting there and getting ready for the festivities.
Eric looked around while he walked to the head table to look for a special someone that he invited to the party, but she was nowhere in sight. Eric then made his way to the table and nodded at Prof. Mcgonagle. He then pulled out a chair next to a fellow scottsman, Prof. Micheals.
"Wonderfull celebration this will be today eh Jasper?" he said as he started to pour himself a green drink. Eric reached into his pocket to pull out his ciggaretts and then stopped because he realized he was in school, and smoking was not allowed on the premises. So he tucked his smokes back into his pocket.
Eric looked around again and noticed that his guest still hasn't arrived. "I hope she comes tonight", he thought to himself. He then turned back to Jasper. "Mmm this drink is quite grand...what's in it I wonder?", he asked him while he picked up his drink and observed the green liquid inside the glass. He gulped what was left, and then helped himself to another. He looked at Prof.McGonagle and back at Jasper and winked and nodded his head and then stared straight and watched as the students were filling up the Great Hall, and still watching for his special guest.

Carmen only hoped that she was dressed alright. She had never been to Hogwarts before. She did not know how people dressed here for a celebration. Carmen did not want to be over dressed or under dressed. But she felt that she looked pretty. She appeared at the gates to Hogwarts and then let herself in. Carmen looked up at the school as she came nearer. She was a little nervous. She had been invite of course but that did not change the fact that she was shaking slightly. Her hands held up her dress so that the hem was a few inches above the ground. She followed the road to avoid her heels sinking into the grass and mud. Carmen's long hair was pulled back in a french knot and her makeup was sparse. When she reached the school, one of the male students standing outside hurried to open the door for her. Carmen gave him a smile and then entered. She released her dress now and the back rested on the marble floor like a short train. Her heels clicked as she walked forward slowly. Carmen was amazed by all that she saw. She followed the noise and found herself in the doorway of the great hall. A number of students turned to look her way and Carmen blushed slightly. She didn't belong here... she should not have come. Carmen turned now, this was a mistake. She knew what was in store for this school. For the students. She was leaving. She had not seen Eric anyways.

Eric was hanging out with his fellow scottsman, enjoying this wonderful green drink. He loved this stuff. He was there for no more than 10 min and he was already on his 3rd glass.
In between drinks he was keeping his eye out for Carmen. He couldn't wait to see her, and knew that she would be looking as beautiful as ever. Eric took out his pocket watch from the inside of his trench coat and looked at the time. "She should have been here by now", he thought to himself. "What could be taking her?", again he asked himself.
At this point Eric is starting to feel a bit of a buzz from this wonderful green drink, and usually when he was buzzed he enjoyed a ciggarette. He was now feeling a feeling as if she wasn't going to show up, a paranoid feeliing really but also upset. He was looking forward to seeing her the whole day.
He looked up breifly and for a moment thought he saw her beautiful face. He then blinked and thought he saw her hair. He jumped right out of his seat and told the fellow Professors that he would be right back and he started running for the doors. As he was running to get there, he noticed that she wasn't there. He finally got to the doors and he stopped and looked both ways. No sign of her anywhere in sight. "This woman is making me crazy" he quickly thought to himself as he started walking towards the grounds to have a smoke and to wait for her.
As he was almost outside, he noticed infront of him was this woman with a very simular physic as Carmens. He looked and started to jog over to the woman. "Excuse me Ma'am", he shouted at her. He caught up to her and tapped her on her shoulder.
"Carmen, it was you I saw", he said to her with relief. "What are you doing..how come you didn't come inside and find me? he asked her with some confusion.

Luna loved celebrations of every kind. It didn't matter of she was involved or not, she still loved being around festivities. She made sure that she picked out what she wanted to ware the night before, so getting ready was easy. She started to care a bit more abour her appearance, as she is no getting older and having different thoughts about things.
She pulled her hair up in a half pony tail with her curly locks hanging down her face, and down to her shoulders. She had a pretty green dress that was long and trailed behind her, and it hugged her body and was strappless. Quite different then what she would normally ware, but it was very flattering. She slipped into sparkly green shoes and it completed her, she looked beautiful.
She grabbed her green beaded bag to go with her outfit and slung it over her shoulder, and was ready to go to the Great Hall for some fun. She went down the grand staircase and made her way to the doors of the great hall and greeted anyone that came in her presance.
Luna walked in wondering if anyone would notice her, she really didnt' look like herself. As she walked in she had a smile on her face and loved the looks of the great hall. It was so festive and warm with lovely clovers danglinig from the celing and green matching sets on the tables. She was in quite aww of the place.
She noticed some students sitting at a table over in the corner. There really didn't seem to be very many people there yet , but she decided to make her way over and say hello anyways as she normally would.
"Hello", lovely in here isn't it?" she said to them with a sweet smile on her face.

Another themed party and dance, but this one was a better one than the Valentine's day one, this was a St. Patty's day one. Alexis was in the dorm getting ready for the dance. She put on her emerald green dress that had spaghetti straps and came to her mid-thigh/knee area and her silver high heeled shoes. She then put on a simple silver heart necklace that she had gotten from her father than had been her mothers. It was her favorite necklace, but she did not wear it often for fear it may break and get lost and she would never see it again. She then put part of her hair up with a simple clip, allowing the rest to flow freely. She had curled her hair and allowed the loose strands to fall in her face. Alexis definitely looked stunning, as she always seemed to do so at the parties. She was your typical seventeen year old girl that wanted to look good for the opposite sex. Something that Alexis figured drove her father crazy when he saw they way she dressed sometimes. She was all ready to go and headed down to the common room and out of the Gryffindor tower and made her way to the Great Hall. Once in the Great Hall, she looked around to see it nicely decorated very St. Patty's day like; with green clovers hanging from the ceiling and green ribbon everywhere. Even the tables were decorated elegantly. Alexis was glad her favorite color was green. There were not very many people there yet, student wise, but Alexis made herself comfortable at one of the tables towards the middle of the room; wondering who else of her friends may show up. Skipping down the hallways, swishing her very green, very St. Patty's day appropriate dress around as she did, Isolde grinned. She loved celebrations of every kind and it didn't matter what it was that was being celebrated, it was good. She laughed at the sound of her heals click-clacking on the stone floor of the hallways that led from the bottom of the Ravenclaw tower staircase. Hopefully there would be themed everything, from drinks to decor, in the Great Hall. A celebration wasn't a celebration without the decorations to go with it. Isolde was wearing her greenest dress after all, and she felt rather in-tune with the whole holiday. Isolde had never been one for favorite's, and St. Patrick's day certainly wasn't top of her list, but that didn't mean she didn't love it, like, a lot. Anyways, Isolde had nearly reached the Great Hall and was surprised to see that there weren't many students filling into the huge room, but she wasn't surprised to see the various green outfits that those who were there wore. Her long, curly hair had been left hanging down, except for a small chunk that had been braided and wrapped around to the back of her head, so that it looked like half of a crown. Another chunk of hair was done the same on the other side of her head, completing the look of a sort of tiara, made of hair. Soon, Isolde had reached the doors and she peaked in, seeing the people dressed all in green. Stepping quickly, and rather lively, she flounced into the room, immediately heading towards the corner where she could see Luna Lovegood sitting. She raised a hand and waved, "Hi!" she called brightly, a huge grin on her face, "May I sit with you?" Isoldes' Outift: www.polyvore.com/isolde_st_patricks_day/set?id=45187764

It was the night of the Saint Patty's Day celebration. Caesar stood in front of his mirror, tightening his bow tie up. He straightened his sleeves out, ran a hand through his abnormally fluffy hair, and sighed. You look so ridiculous, but Emma is going to love you. He nodded to himself unconsciously and turned back to retrieve his black silk-like jacket. Just as he was about to leave for the stairs, he stopped. Madden stood in the door way.
Caesar's nostrils flared and he looked at Madden's features. His eye was almost permanently bruised if you looked close enough, and it made the Slytherin look ridiculous. Caesar took a step towards him and he moved quickly, avoiding eye contact with all he could. He exited the room, snorting to himself quietly. What a chump.
His mind fluttered along with his heart as he thought of how Emma was going to look- how she was going to smell. His skin was laced with goosebumps now, his fingers tightening around the fabric of his jacket. He pulled it out and slipped his arm in, tucking it against his chest a few times and buttoning it once in the middle. His green vest and green tie had little clover prints on it, along with a Slytherin-like emblem embedded on his vest. He looked very... proper. It was different than his plain button ups and straight leg jeans that he always wore, or his robes for that matter.
The Great Hall was decorated expertly by McGonagoll, and he hid a smile from the group already filling the hall thinking about the night ahead of him. He leaned up against a wall in the back, his light eyes hid by his darker hair, his arms crossing slowly over his chest. He looked around and began people-watching. He saw Luna, the nutty one in the year below him. Granted, she looked beautiful tonight, a lot different than normal. Then he saw Snape's daughter Zoey Alexis. He was never sure which she preferred to be called by, so he really didn't talk to her. She seemed nice enough. A few minutes passed and another familiar face razed his vision. Isolde. She was a Ravenclaw in his year, and she was one of Emma's friends, or so he thought he remembered it that way.
Caesar looked down to his suit, stiffened it up, and then looked back up to see a head full of bright red hair in front of him, faced away from his front. His little Emma had made it. Not being able to see what her dress really looked like, he shrugged, got off the wall, and sighed. He smirked and snuck up behind her, wrapping his warm hands around her eyes, blocking her vision. "Guess who?" He asked, his voice subtle and quiet. "Let me give you a hint, this is not Caesar." He teased, a smile against his lips as he rested his chin on Emma's head.

Not surprisingly, Delphi Emma was positively thrilled. She had been excited all day. That morning she had woken all of her housemates by bouncing from bed to bed without touching the ground. They hadn't been too happy. But now she was surprisingly calm. She slipped into her green beaded one shoulder party dress while her best friend Toribelle helped her pin her hair up. It took the Ravenclaw an hour and a half in all to get completely ready. Delphi all but skipped into the Great Hall, despite the heals she wore, and straight over to the refreshment table. She did a very quick and not very thorough search of the room, spotting only a few people. Some she recognized and others she didn't. She nodded her head towards the professor's and poured herself a cup of the green drink that had been displayed. The Ravenclaw had spotted Isolde, who was talking to another Ravenclaw, Luna Lovegood, a sweet girl whom Delphi loved to death, and was about to approach the two when her vision was suddenly cut off. Warm hands laid against her face and she breathed in a very familiar scent that wrung out over her own Puffynumphia Perfume. "Guess who?" Came a voice that was of so subtle and quiet. Delphi chewed on her lower lip. "Hmmm." She said in pretend thought. "Let me give you a hint, this is not Caesar." Delphi's whole body shook as she tried to stifle her giggles. "Not Caesar? Well that only leaves Rhye, whom I know is with Ophelia. Hmmm. Not Caesar." She was grinning now. A chin came to rest on her head and she gasped softly. " Definitely not Caesar," She grinned. "Caesar would no better then to rest his head on my hair that I spent forever trying to make perfect just for him." Delphi said with a hint of amusement and light warning to her tone, as would any girls. She had in fact spent a very long time on her looks. Tonight was the first time they would get to spend together since making up after their blow out.

"You know, what ever male invented high heels, well, us women owe him so much." Simone Sophrarie grinned at her room mates reflection as she checked herself out in the mirror. She wasn't vein by any sense of the word; she simply wanted to look good for the feast. After all, she hadn't found a date, so the least she could do was walk in there and try to turn a few heads. Maybe she would come across a few single men there who would want to dance. Not that it was a deciding factor. Simone Sophrarie would dance rather she was alone or with someone else. With a final glance at her hair that was tucked and secured on her head, she glided out of the room. And it would have been graceful had she not stumbled on the bottom step and went flying forward with a yelp. Luckily for her, a sixth year Gryffindor boy had been waiting at the steps for his date, and managed to catch her. She blushed but laughed at her own clumsiness. "I am so sorry!" She apologized with a smile. The boy nodded his head and looked over her shoulder. He was clearly excited about tonight. "Be patient." She patted him on the shoulder. "The longer she takes, the harder she is trying to make herself look good for you." She hinted with knowing wink and walked out the door. The closer she got to the Great Hall, the more excited she became. Simone seemed to prance into the room, her jaw dropping in wonder at the decorations. Everything looked so beautiful and her hand automatically went to her heart, where she could feel the beating speed up. Date or no, tonight would be fun. She caressed her bright red necklace. The color matched her earrings, but contrasted dramatically to her short green dress. But hey, green was Slytherin, and she certainly was not a Slytherin. She had no personal issues with the House of Slytherin, after all, her mother had been Head Girl from Slytherin when she attended. No, Simone had no issue with Slytherins. She just loved being a Gryffindor, and so had to wear something that blatantly marked her to the house. Her eyes danced around the room, not seeing too many people. She spotted her Head of House and waved over to her. Then her gaze landed on the refreshments. Simone walked over to the table with a spring in her step and a smile on her face. She passed by a cute couple. A Ravenclaw and a Slytherin. The Slytherin was grinning with his hands covering the Ravenclaw's eyes. She wore a grin as well. When Simone walked by them she looked at the Slytherin and winked playfully before continuing to her destination. With her drink in hand, she continued to look around the room. She saw Professor Snape's daughter. A Gryffindor in her year and considered going to say hello. But the thing with her was, you couldn't quite be sure rather or not she wanted to speak with a fellow Gryffindor. It was no secret that she coveted a spot in the House of Snakes. Simone shrugged inwardly. 'To each there own.' As the song that had been playing when she entered faded and died out, another more familiar one picked up and Simone closed her eyes to let the melody sink in. She began humming and swaying with the music.

Parties and celebrations had always been fun for Aeric, no matter how much of a hassle they ended up being. The St. Patrick’s Day celebration was probably going to be no different. Of course, there would be an overload of green and Aeric’s eyes were probably going to be exhausted by the end of the evening, or rather, his right eye. His left eye was legally blind... Still, that meant that his one seeing eye would be even more tired of the colour! Aeric had a feeling that after tonight, he would never want to see green again. Of course, being in a school with a Slytherin house made it difficult to have that particular wish granted. Not that Aeric minded though, he honestly wondered why they had colours at all... And so, with all of the hassle that the damned thing (how much fun it would be) was causing, Aeric decided to get all nicely dressed up in his suit, with one of his favorite ties. He would be wearing a forest green, sequined bow tie. He wouldn’t have worn it if he didn’t think that everybody would be wearing green, with some unique clothing on a rare few. Just then Aeric was standing in front of the bathroom mirror, smoothing down dirty blonde hair just the way he liked it, and straightening the offending bow tie, shining in his eyes as it was. He then brushed down his suit and shifted his shoulder back as if preparing to enter a battle ring. The amount of rowdy teenagers who would all be put into one room with green everything made the whole even seem like something from the middle ages where balls were common, and everybody dressed to impress. Going with the flow, Aeric had done just that, but he really didn’t want to look like a performing clown in front of a crowd; hence the green bowtie and nothing more. Within moments he was completely ready, and probably late. So Aeric skipped every other step on his way down and walked relatively briskly towards the Great Hall, and whatever surprises the party held in store. Soon the great doors were in sight, and the sound of babble could be heard. Luckily for the Gryffindor, it was a quiet babble. Apparently he was earlier than most, but music was playing and some were already dancing and drinking green punch. Walking into the celebrations, Aeric’s gaze wandered around the room, catching sight of a few Gryffindors. It seemed that the Ravenclaws were the most abundant and he couldn’t really see anyone he knew that well. Then he saw her, it was Simone. She had always been one of those girls that Aeric had felt unable to really flirt with, he’d spoken to her a few times, but never anything more than a couple of words. She was absolutely beautiful on a normal day, and standing there, swaying to herself in her dress, she looked flawless. Feeling almost self conscious, Aeric stepped up to the dancing girl, tapping her on the shoulder. It was unusual of him to feel nervous, but he did just then and he had to clear his throat before asking, “Would you care for a dance?” His icy blue eyes gazed questioningly at the other Gryffindor before him, and he dearly hoped that she said yes, otherwise he would look, and feel, like a complete fool. "Oh Merlins beard!" Ophelia rolled her eyes as she paced the Ravenclaw common room. It was empty and she was alone. It hadn't been hard to get in at all. She knew where it was, and all it required to enter was the answer to a riddle. She was good at riddles. This had been ten minutes ago. Rhye Alexendre was officially late. He had no idea she was down there, as she had been planning on surprising him. Ophelia heard a crash come from upstairs and a yelp. She had no idea what it was, but she couldn't smother the laughs that now took over. She doubled over laughing, placing one hand against the corner of the wall leading up the stairs, and that was how she was when Rhye exited the stairs. Doubled over laughing. She tried to hold back a grin. "I'm sorry, Sweets." Ophelia giggled and leaned up to kiss Rhye. "Now that we are officially late," she gave him a look, "Can we please get to the festivities?" She slipped her hand into his. ~~~()~~~()~~~()~~~ The Great Hall looked spectacular! Green filled up almost every open space. She spotted her brother Duncan almost immediately and waved to him. He ignored her. Ophelia suspected it had something to do with him being with a girl. She rolled her eyes at the eleven year old. "I see Delphi and Caesar got back together. I'm glad." She leaned into him. "Tonight is going to be so much fun!" She practically squealed, tugging his hand and dragging him towards the refreshments where two Gryffindor's stood. She slowed down to match her pace with Rhye. "He looks so nervous." She giggle-whispered into Rhye's ear, having to stand on tip-toe to keep quiet. Rhye and Ophelia walked by and gave the two knowing looks. Ophelia smiled at the strange girl encouragingly, her eyes shifting between the girl and the boy before giving the Gryffindor another encouraging nod and looking away. "Thanks goodness." Ophelia sighed. "I was getting so thirsty. Who would have thought waiting for Ravenclaw's Pretty Boy would bring me to be so parched." She grinned, looking over the rim of her cup as she took a sip. "Besides, I thought I was the one that was always late." ~~~ www.polyvore.com/saint_pattys_day_feast/set?id=45372333 ~~~

The Great Hall was starting to fill up with students, most of them Ravenclaw, but other houses were coming in to. Alexis loved to sit there and just people watch; watching all whom she either knew or saw around school come in. When Caesar came in, her eyes went directly to him. It was too bad he was already dating Emma, because Alexis would jump on that opportunity to get to know him and ask him out if Emma hadn't been. He was definitely easy on the eyes. She then spotted two Gryffindors come in, one right after the other. Simone and Aeric; not to mention another very handsome boy, two seventh years as well. Having been bored just sitting there, she decided to go and say hello to them.
After getting some green punch, she walked over to where she could see Simone swaying to the music; Alexis's dress flowing nicely with her gait. "Good music, huh? Names Alexis," she replied as she turned towards Aeric and just smiled brightly.

Another party?! Theo was getting rather sick of these parties lately; pretty much because he was not a "crowd or group" type of person. He was more of a loner person, except when it came to the ladies...then his ego and charm came into play. He was in his dorm getting ready for the party. He was not much of a fancy dresser, but managed to get himself into some nice black slacks, a nice and white pressed shirt that his mother had sent him, a green tie other than his slytherin tie and to top it off; Theo would be wearing his black low-rise converse shoes. He would look awesome in his point of view. He did top it off also with a black velvet vest as well. He left the dorm and the common room and headed up the stairs to the Great Hall where he saw it bustling with students already. He had an idea running through his head as well about sneaking out later and starting a little party of his own; students only. As he entered, he saw Caesar with his on and off girl, Emma; that crazy Luna Lovegood, Isolde; another Ravenclaw who was sitting with Luna. He also spotted Ophelia, who seemed to be the only Hufflepuff right now. He nodded a quick nod to the head table where the professors were sitting until he saw the three Gyrffindors who were there. One in particular always seemed to catch his eye because this girl was no Gryffindor, she should have been in Slytherin, and that was Alexis Snape; Professor Snape's daughter and Theo had to admit, she was looking rather stunning tonight. Theo gave her a wink as he walked by before grabbing some of the green punch and sitting down at a table; thinking more of his party idea for later. Outfit: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=45402953
