Minerva stood at the window behind her desk looking out, the sky was dark. She could feel the darkness over and around Hogwarts. The place was basically run by death eaters, Minerva spent most of her time in class or in her office. SHe didn't go to meals or walk around the school much, She stayed out of the death eaters way. However she did protect the students as much as she could, she never reported them to the Carrows or Snape. She did act differently this year, she was more on edge this year and she tried not to show the students her fear. To most of them coming to her class was the highlight of the week, not having to torture first years or be punished in ways Minerva could never believe were possible.
She took some chalk and wrote on the blackboard "Transformation"
She wanted to teach the students something usefull, something they could use in these dark times, in terms of transfiguration this was one of them, she hoped to teach them deffense spells, since d.a.d.a was now dark arts, she hoped maybe a student wuld ask.
She made her way to her and stood at the front of it awaiting the arrival of her class

Alexis had just left the Gryffindor tower a few moments ago, taking her usual route to Transfiguration class, which was stopping by the Great Hall to get a quick breakfast and then up to the classroom on the fifth floor. McGonagoll was one of the few non-Death Eater professors still at Hogwarts, and she knew that she was trying to protect the students as best as she could.
Once on the fifth floor, Alexis strode into the classroom and took her usual spot towards the middle of the classroom, taking out her book, quill and parchment. Transfiguration was one of the classes she ratherly enjoyed, of course it was not in her top two like Dark Arts and Potions, but it was in her top five.
"Good Morning Professor," she replied with her usual smirk upon her face when she took her seat.

It had not taken Cayden long to make his way to the Transfiguration class. He walked at a good pace while dodging sun beams. Thankfully there were not many rays reaching through the windows with what seemed to be an approaching storm in the sky. He was dressed in the black and green uniform of his house and carried a canvas black backpack over one shoulder.
Cayden's skin was pale as ever and set off by the black hair that fell into his eyes. His expression was sullen as always. ...well no, it was happy sometimes but that was only when Ellie was near. The girl was his life. The only loved one he had left. The only one who had not abandoned him.
The vampire Hybrid took a desk in the center of the classroom a few to the left of Alexis. Even though the girl was not in his house, everyone knew of Alexis and Helen. How could you not know not only the children of the Headmaster. Not to mention that everyone knew that Alexis spent more time in the Slytherin area than most Slytherins.
He nodded at Alexis now as he sat and then opened his bag and started to get ready for class. Cayden always felt a little odd here...in this class. Seeing how his deadbeat of a father was a Deatheater. It was not secret the way this professor felt of The Dark Lord and his followers.

It wasn't a far run for Isabella to the fifth floor. She spent most of the time up on the higher floors and out of everyones hair. She felt like a burden people. Maybe that came from how she was raised. Bounced from one house to another, people looking down at her for her magical abilities. Muggles were cruel when your different from the herd. She shook her head. She needed to stop thinking like that. That was the past.
Thunder rumbled around the castle, making the red head finally pull her eyes up from the floor. She counted herself as an odd ball. She wanted to be out there in the rain and wind. What it was about storms that made her slightly smile, she didn't know. They just did the trick for her.
Bella walked into the classroom, her arms wrapped tightly around the random notebooks she carried around and the loose papers she couldn't place anywhere else. The headmasters oldest daugther was seated in the room already and so was the vampire hybrid her friend Ellie was dating, Cayden. Bella slid into the very back seat she could find. She laid her books down and sighed. McGongal was one of the few non-deatheater teachers left around here.

Transformation meant one thing to Ellie-nap time. well, thats what the class would have meant if she wasn't sharing it with the love of her life, Cayden. He meant the world to her. They had been through thick and thin. His family just up and turning their backs on him and her family just dying off. ( Well, everyone but Cole anyway. She had heard rumors that he was round again. )
She covered a yawn as she waltzed up the staircase to the classroom. Her onyx colored curls were tied back into a ponytail and hanging above her neck. She usually would have done more but Ellie got a late start this morning. She adjested her backpack on her shoulders as she sighed.
She stepped into the classroom. Bella's orange head was the first thing that caught her eyes. She waltzed over to her friend and greeted. They chatted for a few seconds before Ellie and her parted ways. Ellie sauntered over to Cayden and slid her hands over his eyes. " Guess who? " She said. Ellie kissed his cheek before claiming the seat beside. him. Her bag clattered to the floor but she didn't seem to notice. She put her head against his shoulder.

Then...Peaking around the corner was Luna Lovegood with her waist length dirty blonde hair and the biggest eyes that are permanatly surprised looking. She was daydreaming as usual and was late for class. She looked surprised when she walked into class with everyone staring at her. You see everyone thought Luna was strange..pherhaps it was becuase she tucked her wand behind her left ear for safe keeping..or because she would choose to wear butterbeer caps as a necklace ...or that she loved to read upside down..but all in all she was nice to everyone.
"sorry i'm late" she said with a smile on her face. "I had to keep away the narkels" she said as she was walking to her desk. She sat down and asked with that sweet smile of hers..."what did I miss"?.

Ginny had just came down from the Gryffindor common room to the fifth floor. It was time for Transfiguration class, which out of all the classes this year and who was teaching them, primarily all death eaters, it was her favorite class. But it had really always been her favorite class. As she walked into the classroom, she scanned the area to see who was there already. There was Alexis, the headmaster's oldest daughter who was a Gryffindor herself, but sure did not act like it. Ginny knew that Alexis acted Slytherin and hung around the Slytherins more than Gryffindors and so Ginny did not associate herself with her, except for when Quidditch was in the books.
Then she spotted Cayden and the girl he was dating, Ellie, and then Bella, a hufflepuff whom Ginny did not talk to much but didn't seem to mind. The last person she came across was Luna. Oh Luna, strange yet a cool friend of Ginny's and part of the DA. She took her seat next to Luna, "Hey Luna!"

No one answerd poor Luna, "Alright then" she said as she turned around in her seat with her quibbler in hand. And then out of the corner of her eye she saw that Ginny had come in to class. Very close to Ginny and was excited to see her sit next to her in class. "Hi Luna" Ginny greeted her.
"Hello Ginny " replied Luna with her high toned voice with her happy little smile. "Beautiful day out today isn't it" she said, though she had a look in her eye that you knew she wanted to ask something but wasn't sure if she should. "To bad we have to be inside" she said. She grabbed the Quibbler out of her arms and handed it over to Ginny."Qibbler??"...there was a bit of a pause..
"Dad is reprinting! he can't believe it he said that people seem even more interested in this than the crumple-horned snorkacks" she grinned. "Have you heard from Ron,Harry or Haromine at all?" she asked not sure if she should or not. "I hope they are alright..I like them all..they are great friends..she said with a somewhat sadened look on her face.

Draco walked into the classroom and took a quick look around. It was not full yet by any means but that was okay. His eyes fell on Ginny and he sneered. Her and the rest of her family were part of the problem with The Dark Lord. The whole lot of them should be wiped out as far as he was concerned. There were only two other Slytherin's in the class and Draco did not really peak to either of them. However, they were better than any of the others in here.
Draco started forward now only to pause as looney loudly said "Have you heard from Ron,Harry or Hermione at all?" Draco looked towards the blond now. So Ginny kept in touch with the trio? Hmmm He sighed when the next words out of the Ravenclaw's mouth did nothing to help him. Draco continued on and moved to a desk behind Cayden. He might as well sit near others in his house.
"Morning Professor he said in a low and cool tone and then Draco sat and began to get everything out that he would need for this class. He nodded and Cayden and Ellie and then ran a pale hand through his blond hair.

Cayden did not turn to watch as people enter the room. He figured that anyone who wanted to talk to him would approach him. He was listening however. Cayden heard the Weasley girls voice and then loony's as she was called in his school house. Who else would be talking about narkles or whatever she had said...
Cayden jumped slightly when the hands covered his eyes but almost instantly he was breathing in her scent and a smile formed on Cayden's face as she kissed him. When he dropped her head onto his shoulder, Cayden's one arm went around her waist and he kissed her forehead. Cayden did not care what anyone thought of the signs of affection.
Ellie and Cayden had something that most other young couples in this school did not. They were kindred spirits. They supported each other. They each had someone who actually cared for them.
The chair behind them moved and now Cayden turned his head slightly to look. His eyes fell on Draco and Cayden returned the blonds nod. Draco and Cayden were almost in the same position when it came to the Dark Lord. Cayden turned now to face the front of the classroom again. He still held Ellie and he waited.

Students starting coming into class more and more and taking their seats. Alexis noticed Cayden and then Ellie enter. The two of them she knew and kind of talked too, but most of her friends were actually in Slytherin which was the house that seemed to associate with more even though she was a Gryffindor. Then Ginny and Luna entered, two people whom she rather disliked. Ginny and her blood traitor family, and then Loony Lovegood, who was just strange in her different way.
She turned back towards the front of the classroom when it wasn't even a few minutes later, she heard the door open again to see it was Draco Malfoy. Smiling, she adjusted her seat more so to be near the Slytherins rather then Luna or Ginny. She and Draco had always gotten along; knowing each other since before Hogwarts through her father and his. She knew that Draco had to know that those seven years ago Alexis was disappointed at the stupid sorting hat for putting her into Gryffindor, that and he was a great friend of hers.
"Hey Draco," she replied waving towards him as he entered.

Ginny took a Quibbler from Luna, "Thanks. I was wondering if your dad still printed." She then noticed Draco Malfoy enter the room but just ignored him as she turned her attention back to Luna, who was asking about Ron and Harry and Hermione. She made a hushing gesture towards Luna so she would not speak about them in front of Draco, since he was on the Dark Lord's side it had appeared with recent events.
"I am sure they are fine," she whispered in a low tone so only Luna would hear, "I have written Harry once or twice secretly just to see how are things going."

Luna noticed Draco as soon as Ginny made her hushing gesture to not say anyting and Luna turred round in her seat as she heard Ginny say quietly "I'm sure they are fine, I have written him once or twice secretly just to see how things are going" she said in a very low tone so Draco wouldn't over hear. Luna was quite happy to hear that the trio was alright.
Luna noticed the classroom filling up quicky and she noticed Zoey walked and her eyes fixed on Ginny and herself. Luna knew that Zoey didn't care for her much. She knew that she thought that she was strange when in turn Luna thought she was strange, but being her self as Zoey walked by to take her seat Luna said "hi Zoey" and smiled She then turned back over to Ginny and said" I really hope that the proffessor starts class soon" she said in her high little voice." the tension in here is enough to rid the narlkels from the face of the earth" and then turned rather slowly back around in her seat and opened her copy of the Quibbler and read in upsidedown of course until class started.

Astoria slipped quietly into class and was relieved that the Professor hadn't started her lesson yet. It was a bit awkward coming in, considering that she was the youngest person in the room. But there was no need to feel too out of place. There were other Slytherins here.
Seeing Draco's white blonde head made her smile, although it also made her want to laugh a bit. The boy stood out like a light beacon. Astoria made her way to sit down next to him, her hand gently brushing his shoulder as she passed closer. It was a simple little touch. Nothing too intimate, but good enough.
Astoria started to remove her supplies from her bag and noticed Ellie and Cayden. She offered them a brief wave after setting her notebook down on her desk. They were clearly absorbed at the moment. She couldn't help smirking in a good-natured way. Most couples around the school were disgusting to be around (she still had nightmares about walking past Weasley and Lavender Brown), but even she had to admit that Ellie and Cayden were...well, cute. It was a horribly girlish thought but it was true.
Once all of her things were situated, Astoria opened a book and started reading. She would do this until the lecture started or someone stopped her. Draco would probably take the mickey at her for acting like Granger or a Ravenclaw because of it, like Pansy did whenever she saw her reading and was in a good enough mood, but Astoria didn't mind. She could always mess with him back or whack him with the book if he did.

Minerva stood there in front of the class, watching all the students come in and wander about the classroom for a few miniutes until she was ready to start her lesson. Transfiguration was wrote on the chalk board to give the students an idea what was going on in class today. "Students, please take your seats class is about to begin" she shouted so all the students could hear her over all of the comotion. "Class is about to begin" she stated. She walked over to the chalkboard again and wrote underneath transfiguration "Vanishing Spell". You could tell just by looking at her that she was uneasy and almost frightend in someway by the way she was speaking and even her body lannguage showed the sign's. "Today, I will be showing you the Vanishing spell, as she turned around and looked at her students."The difficulty of the Vanishing Spell increases along with the complexity of the animal to be vanished" she spoke in a lower but firm tone."For you that have had me all these years in this class, this spell is much more difficult then turning chairs to cats or matches to needles" she spoke in even more of a firm tone.
"Our world is in danger as you are all aware" she shouted. "and you need to be protected, and that is why we are going to work on this spell together". "This is going to take an extreme amount of concentra-t-io-n" was interupted by some annoying whispering going on in the back of the class. "Would you all mind paying attention" she said to Draco's area with Cayden, Astoria, and a few others. "You will see on each of your desks a frog in a jar, please take out your wands and too yourselves cast "EVANESCO".
