Luna overheard everyone talking about this Carnival and it did sound quite exciting. She heard everyone talk about how fun it was going to be, expecially for the students since they get to get away from the school for awhile.
Luna realized, once again that she had no one to go with. She would ask Neville, but she had overheard him saying that he was going with Hannah so she did not want to bother him. The only person that she had ever gone with was Harry Potter when he had asked her back in their forth year. She then had a thought of him for a moment, hopeing that all was alright.
She then decided that she didn't care, she would just like to get out for a walk amongst everyone else eventhough no one asked her n'or invited her along. She was indeed the Ravenclaw outcast. She went to her common room and up to her things and got herself ready for the evening. She put on a lilac coloured shirt with a pair of jean shorts and her brown bag that flew over her shouder. She tied her hair up in a loose bun and slipped on a pair of sparkly flats and left for Hogsmeade.
She reached the entrance of the Carnival and it was packed with people and it looked amazing. There were stands and shops everywhere, the food smelt wonderfull, there were games and rides of every kind whisping around about and it was fibrant.
She started walking over to a stand that read cotton candy and it cought her eye. There were pink and blue bags hanging up all over the stand and they looked really good...weird...but good. "How much are these?" she asked the man behind the counter. As Luna was reaching into her bag hoping that she had enough for this interesting treat, she felt a sudden shove on her left shoulder blade as her bag fell to the ground.
