With everything he personally had been through lately, Mason needed to have a bit of fun. The carnival was a bit unorthodox for a wizard town, that was for sure. It had gotten some mixed comments, but Mason for one was looking forward to it. The Headmaster had allowed all the students to attend. Mason was sure that would not have been the case it the Ministry had not placed aurors around the grounds for protection.
It was Friday night and Mason was not the only one heading thought the gates and down to the town. He saw staff as well as students before and behind him. But he did not see the one man he was looking for. Mordecai. Mason had seen the other male at dinner and was hoping to see him tonight. Mason was dressed to relax. He wore a tight black t-shirt that showed off many of the muggle tattoo's on his arms and the one on his neck. He was also in blue jeans and black runners. In his pockets, coins jingled as he walked. Mason planned to eat lots of junk food and go on lots of rides.
As soon as he reached Hogsmeade, the Carnival was impossible to miss. Mason had never been to one before and he practically danced with excitement. It was dark now and the lights of the rides, games, and food stands were bright. They lit up the street and the field and shack as well. Mason hurried towards the field now. His slipped in between the other people.
When he entered the field its self, he stopped. Mason looked up at the towering Ferris wheel and then the Rollercoaster that rattled along loudly. He could see many other contraptions and none of them had he so much as seen in person.
There was a heavily scent in the air and Mason head for that first. He came to a food stand. "Corn dog?" The wizard in the stand asked. Mason eyed the battered item on a stick. It did smell very good. He handed over the amount of coin needed and took the food. "Here's, to trying the muggle way." He said softly and then took a bite.

Mordecai had heard that there was a festival going on and being from America things like these were pretty common especially to muggles. Today was a day for Mordecai to chill and relax but when he heard about the carnival Mordecai just had to go.He ventured in muggle activities time to time when it came to things like these. Looking around mordecai smiled when he walked in. Every where he looked people where standing laughing and smiling. Who wouldn't at a place like this.?
A specific hair type caught his eye at the corn dog stand. Mordecai being who he was slipped an muscluar arm around his fem boyfriend and sneakily nipped at his ear before placing loving and passionate kisses to his cheek and the corner of his mouth. Mordecai had been spending quite some time with Mason and it was because he is his lover. Mordecai had taken a hefty interest to him and ever since then they have been together.

Mason was on his third bit of the corn dog. He let out a soft murmurer of pleasure. They should have these up at the school. They were delicious. There were so many people around him right now that Mason did not notice the new comer coming up behind him. It was not until a strong arm went around him the Mason realized that anyone was there. He gasped and almost choked on the food in his mouth.
The nibble on the ear gave Mordecai away though. Mason managed to finish chewing what was in his mouth and then swallowed as the kisses moved along the side of face and mouth. He smiled softly and then turned in Mordecai's arm. He blushed a little at the public display of affection but at the same time, he liked it. "Her baby, enjoying yourself" Mordecai asked and Mason gave a small smile as he looked up at the bigger boy.
"I've just got here." Mason answered in a soft voice. He leaned up and gave Mordecai a quick and soft kiss on the lips. "I was trying to decide what to try first." He said now. There was just so much that Mason had never seen before. He wanted to try a few of the games and some rides.

Mordecai nodded and squeezed his arm around Mason before leaning slightly down and placing a tender kiss to his temple. His eyes looked around as he held Mason firmly to him. He did not care if others were looking, Mason was his and his alone. One of the rides caught his eyes and thus made Mordecai smile form ear to ear. They had come across a haunted house ride. He was a sucker for scary things, especially rides and movies.
"Lets goon that scary ride right over there." Mordecai's hand pointed over to the huge ride that was painted black with ghost like faces. His grin only got bigger as he took a hold of Mason's hand and led him into the line that had a little of people in it. "Aww man its been a while since I had been on a ride like this, are you ready for it"

Mason as always liked the feel of Mordecai's body against him and he gave a soft purr of happiness as he was pulled up against the bigger boy. It did not take long for him him to finished the food and then he was being led off. Before long they came to a large dark house. "Lets go on that scary ride right over there." Mordecai said and Mason glanced at the house again. He swallowed hard.
It looked scary... Mason was not good with scary things. He did not have much of a chance to decline however as he was dragged into the line for the ride. "Aww man its been a while since I had been on a ride like this, are you ready for it" Mordecai asked and Mason looked at the boys face. He looked so happy. Mason did not have the heart to say no. When they reached the ride itself, Mason let Mordecai go first and then looking a little pale, Mason followed holding tight to his boyfriends hand.

A Mordecai was led into a seat with Mason, he slid all the way in and held Mason securely around the waist to ensure him that he was not going anywhere any time soon. He smiled once more and kissed the side of his pale cheek repeatedly never letting the grin slid off his chisled features. Mordecai laughed evilly as they entered into the haunted house all the while shivering hard because it was cold and gloomy inside the place.
His arms never let go of Mason, because he knew that his boyfriend was somewhat scared. His eyes suddenly got big when he felt the coaster car go up the steep heel never knowing when they were going to go down. Here we go it was too late to turn back now. "Mason babe can you feel the adrenaline rushing through your body? Its amazing but I wont let anything happen - Right before he could finish his sentence the car came to a complete stop and a bone chilling scream could be heard as the car moved down the heel with lightening speed! THIS..had to be one of the most awesome things that happened that day.

Mason took a deep breath as the car started forward. He felt Mordecai's kiss and smiled slightly. When Mordecai laughed, Mason glanced at him out of the corner of his eye. His boyfriend was deranged... When the car started moving up Mason's free hand tightened on the restraint. "Mason babe can you feel the adrenaline rushing through your body? Its amazing but I wont let anything happen..."
Mason let out a strangled drop as the car pitched downwards. His heart started to beat hard in his chest. Oh no..he was not liking this. Mason wanted to close his eyes but was afraid to. The car took a sharp turn and Mason was thrown into Mordecai. He buried his face in the bigger males throat. The screams were all around them along with bright lights and loud sounds and things that hung from the ceiling and touched him.

Mordecai began to laugh out loud. He held tight onto Mason and kissed his face happily. The ride was thrilling to him and it made him all the more excited the thing that had him the most happy was the fact that he got to spend the day with the person that he loved the most. Mordecai gasped and burst out laughing as they took a sharp turn.
When they went up and then down in a loop he shot his hands into the air and screamed out to all the people. He could remember his childhood how he had been on these rides before all of this made him smile happily. "WOOOT! YEAH BABY!"

Mason tried to keep his eyes open but it was very hard. It was at least a little comfort that Mordecai was with him. Mason lost count of the number of times her was shoved into his boyfriend. But he really wanted this ride to end. By the time it was finally over, Mason was all but pressed up against Mordecai and his face was turned to the rear.
It was only when Mason felt fresh air on his face that he opened his eyes again. That was a mistake. Apparently one of the workers of the ride have noticed Mason with his eyes closed. The worker had climbed onto the back of the car and now was starring right back at him. The worker was extremely close to Mason and Mason gasped and jumped violently.

Mordecai had laughed when the ride over. It was such an adrenaline rush that he wanted to do it again but he knew the love of his life did not want to so he knew that he would not be able to. He noticed a morked had gotten extremely close to him and so Mordecai wrapped a firm arm around Mason and moved to kiss his lips holding him in a over-protective manner. Mordecai did not like when people got to close to Mason because in a way Mason was all he had and he would do anything for Mason if it made him happy. "Not to close dude" he said to the worker.
Mordecai stroked his love's face to make sure that he was ok and that he was not hurt or harmed in any way. Worried eyes searched his face as he looked at him."Are you ok baby" he said to him before wrapping his arms tighter around him and repeatedly kissing his face. Mordecai the moved back an inch and looked around before grabbing his hand and taking him to go and try some games.

When Mordecai's arm went around him tighter, Mason had jumped yet again. He had forgotten that Mordecai was here. That was how freaked Mason was. His eyes were still one the employee. "Not to close dude" Mason heard Mordecai say. The employee did not even glance at Mordecai.
"Are you ok baby" Mordecai asked Mason now and slowly Mason looked at his boyfriend. He nodded slightly and then looked down slowly as he was kissed. Mason stepped out of the car and as he was walking away from the ride, he looked back slowly. The employee was still there. The other licked his lips seductively and Mason looked away quickly hoping that Mordecai had not seen.
