"Now you can't tell anyone.”
Mathius took on the same tone and facial expression for a moment, “I won’t. I promise.” He said seriously before another grin broke through.
"You are smooth, and, well, rather handsome. But you are more than that, too. You're funny, you like to laugh and it's very cute when you do. You're kind, gentle, and your hair is perfect." She grinned, squeezing his hands tightly for a second. "You're creative, which probably means you're romantic. You seem to have a big heart, and you can cook. Why wouldn't I be sure?" She cooed, her eyes sparkling again.
Mathius was suddenly blushing, his cheeks pink. He started to speak, stumbling a bit over his tongue before getting the words out that he wanted to say, “Thank you.” He said first. Every one of Darcy’s complements hit him like a ray of bright sunshine, making him almost want to squint. What really did him in was when she added the question as to why wouldn’t she be sure. His stomach did a couple very violent flips in his stomach and his hands gripped hers.
He decided that Darcy needed to know just how amazing she was. “I may be all of that, but you are more. You are sweet and adorable, while managing to stay oh so beautiful. I want to drown in your eyes and I probably could if I stared into them long enough. You have a pet snake that you named Mouse, proving that you have a sense of humor that fits me perfectly and you’re smile is brighter than a billion suns.” He paused for a moment, wondering if he was going too far, too fast with Darcy. Everything he said to her was true, everything he said to her he knew. “Maybe you are too good for me, only the best will ever deserve a woman as amazing as you, and don’t you forget it!”
It was a moment of his silence when Darcy pressed her ear to his chest to hear his thumping heart, kissing his hands every now and then.
"I like this song." She said quietly.
Mathius lifted free his right hand, keeping his left entwined within hers. He reached up slowly, cupping her chin in hand and lifting her face to his. Hesitantly, he pressed forward in a soft kiss, pulling away moments later with an expression he would later realize was probably rather star struck and wondered.
OOC: MY HEART!!! <33333333333 God, they are so sweet together!!! I want this type of relationship.

Mathius was suddenly blushing, his cheeks pink. “Thank you.” He said first.
Darcy giggled softly when she saw him blush. She was excited to see him like that- it was everything cute combined.
“I may be all of that, but you are more. You are sweet and adorable, while managing to stay oh so beautiful. I want to drown in your eyes and I probably could if I stared into them long enough. You have a pet snake that you named Mouse, proving that you have a sense of humor that fits me perfectly and you’re smile is brighter than a billion suns.” He paused for a moment, wondering if he was going too far. “Maybe you are too good for me, only the best will ever deserve a woman as amazing as you, and don’t you forget it!”
"Oh, Mathius- I..." She gulped, her eyes wide, a happy tear welling up somewhat in her left eye. She blinked it away and smiled, leaning in and burying her head into his chest, wrapping her arms tight around him. "Your laugh is the cutest thing ever, I just want to giggle and hug you when I see it and hear it. When you grin, the butterflies in my stomach take flight, and I can't corral them back in. The light in your eyes when you are talking about something you enjoy- it's mesmerizing, and I absolutely adore it. The way you and I both keep up our Mom's traditions and how you keep her sketches. I love that about you. I love everything about you. Your talent amazes me. You amaze me."
It was all kind of muffled because she was buried into him, but she pulled back and smiled. With a deep breath, she seemed to continue. "Your smile is the best, most handsome. You- you're just everything I could ask for. I'm not too good for anyone. Especially you. If anything, you're too special for someone like me." She shook her head, watching him carefully. She squeezed him again and pulled back briefly. "But that doesn't mean I don't want you. Because I do. In fact, I could really use someone in my life like you. I need you."
Mathius' eyes were in her sights, and she wasn't too keen to look away quick. She felt his right hand pull away and she frowned for a moment, confused. But when his gentle hands cupped her chin, her eyes lit up and a soft kiss was planted on her lips. She gasped for a breath, her cheeks hot. Her free hand went to his hair, running her hand through it, stroking down to his cheek softly. She leaned back into him, kissing him just as softly, letting her hand fall to his chest along with her head. She closed her eyes and burrowed in happily. Back to where she belonged, listening to his heartbeat.
** TOG sent me a text saying you posted. I had a mini fit and I was like: YAY. When I read it, I wanted to cry. He hurts my heart in the best way possible. THEY hurt my heart. But they make me so happy. I wish they were real. SO CUTE. :} <3333 **

Mathius smiled as he heard Darcy’s giggle before listening to her voice as if it were a song that he would never, ever get bored of.
"Your laugh is the cutest thing ever, I just want to giggle and hug you when I see it.
Every word that poured from Darcy’s mouth was like another little something to add to his stash of good memories, and just then a file was being formed in his mind temple labeled ‘Darcy.’ Every word made him a little dizzier, a little happier. How on earth was he supposed to top that? His smile widened and he rested his chin on the top of her head lightly, taking in every sight, feeling, smell and sound that involved Darcy, storing more and more information into his new ‘Darcy’ file.
Sure, Darcy’s voice was muffled, but that just made the whole situation just that much more memorable. This was a scene that Mathius would be painting as soon as bodily able.
Mathius pressed his lips to the top of her head, the smell of her hair comforting him, clearing his light headedness somewhat so that he was able to think enough to say something at least somewhat intelligent.
“I need you too,” was all he managed to say for a moment before continuing, gulping a bit before doing so, “I need you more than I need anything or anybody in my life right now.”
Mathius stopped, taking a deep breath, “You are the sun, newly risen, in my life.”
When Darcy began to run her hand through his hair and down his face, back to his chest, during their kiss he felt his breath catch. He breathed only when the kiss was over and Darcy against his heart again. He could feel her there like an anchor to the real world, without her touch his mind might have floated away by then, off to wherever a flying soul goes.
Mathius felt the happiest, most sincere smile come upon his face, it was the type of smile that he had only ever reserved for those he loved. Suddenly, a favorite quote of his came to mind and he leant down, stroking Darcy’s soft hair with his free hand. He began to whisper the quote into her ear, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.”
Suddenly life made so much more sense.
OOC: I am in love with our babies!!! Honestly, they have the ABSOLUTE best romance ever!!!! (like, way up there with Charles and Benedict) SO MANY HEARTS!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 (Etc)

“I need you too,” was all he managed to say for a moment before continuing, gulping a bit before doing so, “I need you more than I need anything or anybody in my life right now.” Mathius stopped, taking a deep breath, “You are the sun, newly risen, in my life.”"Well you can have me. I'm free for you to keep. For forever and a day." She grinned against him, feeling his lips press to her head. She shuttered happily, her hands around him rubbing up and down his back. Darcy's mind was racing with thoughts. Things she wanted to say, ask, show him. The young girl couldn't stop her heart from banging against her chest. It was beating against her ribs, probably wishing to beat free right into Mathius' hands. She knew that nobody had ever made her feel like this before. "You can be the moon to my sun. When I set, you can rise and take over. Plus, you are worthy of being up there along the stars." She whispered, smiling to herself. He leant down, stroking Darcy’s soft hair with his free hand. Mathius began to whisper the quote into her ear, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.”Mathius' voice rang softly into her ears, her cheeks heating up quite fast once again. That did her in. She sat up to look at him, her arms still around his mid-section. Her hand that was on his chest rose back up to his neck, tracing her light fingertips along his jawline. She leaned into his face, resting her forehead against his, placing another small kiss on his lips. She couldn't help herself but smile. "I found my favorite thing ever." She grinned, her nose scrunching and her lip being bit. Darcy lifted her head, caressing his cheek softly, planting kisses on the corners of his eyes, smiling hard against his skin. She couldn't believe that she had found someone like Mathius. She had stumbled right into the bookstore on her first day not knowing that she'd ever meet her soulmate inside the book-riddled old shop. Her heart was beating heavy again. She brought Mathius' hand to her chest once more, a huge grin daring to take up most of her face. "Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your heart, or burn down your house, you can never tell." Darcy giggled. "I read that somewhere, and it seems relevant now more than ever, dear."Everything was falling into place nicely. And even for their first date, she could already tell she was going crazy over this boy. Their date on Tuesday would be just as good, she hoped. But now, she had him in her arms and she was in his arms- so she would savor this moment. ** I KNOWWW. My babies!! They're so precious. I can't wait for their next couple of dates! We can have Bay come back after you post and then we can finish up and start that Tuesday date at your house. **

"Well you can have me. I'm free for you to keep. For forever and a day."Mathius grinned happily, “I won’t ever let you go.” He said, looking down happily. “Past forever and a day.” For a brief moment he worried that he was making promises that he wouldn’t be able to keep. Sometimes things happened in life and he couldn’t foresee the future. "You can be the moon to my sun. When I set, you can rise and take over. Plus, you are worthy of being up there along the stars."Nothing made him feel so cared for, so special, as those words. He felt then that even if something got in the way, he would try his hardest to keep Darcy close. “Don’t worry Darcy, I have no plans of doing nothing.” Mathius stayed put as Darcy’s hands rubbed his back before moving up to his neck, then to his jaw line, her fingers against his skin made his heart skip beats, making up for lost time by beating extra hard. Her next kiss made his lips tingle as she pulled back, speaking. "I found my favorite thing ever." She grinned, her nose scrunching and her lip being bit. “Your grin will get me every time.” He said, memorizing the scrunch of her nose, the teeth against her lip. Everything about her was special, important, even the little details that could easily be overlooked (such as that subtle twinkle in her eyes as she smiled and the tinkle of her laugh). “I would have to agree with you there, I might just have found my favorite thing ever as well!” "Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your heart, or burn down your house, you can never tell." Darcy giggled. "I read that somewhere, and it seems relevant now more than ever, dear." Mathius chuckled; he felt that his own quote had been beaten by Darcy’s as hers was perfect. “Relevant? That is bloody prophetic.” He replied, grinning. It was, they had nearly burned down the house. Suddenly, he had the thought that dinner had never actually been eaten… The vegetarian lasagna still sat on the counter, probably cold by now. This realization made him think some more, about how even the thought of Darcy made him forget food (a necessity). Somehow, fate had brought them together and he loved it. Somehow, he had found his soul mate. His parents had been soul mates and he had never seen a happier couple, until now that is. “How can something so perfect happen to me?” He asked, leaning in and taking his hands from Darcy’s, only to wrap his arms around her in an embrace, kissing her forehead softly, a smile upon his lips. OOC: OH MY GOODNESS! THAT ONE LINE!!! "You can be the moon to my sun. When I set, you can rise and take over. Plus, you are worthy of being up there along the stars." That sounds good, Bay should come back just as they are snuggling and be like, “Whhhaaa?”

Mathius grinned happily, “I won’t ever let you go.” He said, looking down happily. “Past forever and a day.”
"I take much comfort in that. Your presence around is soothing." She chuckled, his smile making hers that much brighter. Darcy wasn't sure whether or not they would indeed last, well, forever. But she would make damn sure that they lasted for a long time. She wasn't going to let him go that easy.
“Your grin will get me every time.” He said, "I would have to agree with you there, I might just have found my favorite thing ever as well!”
"My grin?" She blushed again, smiling. "There's nothing special about it." She protested, shaking her head. "And I am glad. I found someone to spend all my time with, ask all my stupid questions to, and kiss all the time." She winked.
“Relevant? That is bloody prophetic.” He replied, grinning.
She couldn't hold it back. His arms were wrapped around her and she buried her head into his warm, strong chest and let out a hearty laugh. She struggled to catch a breath and pulled up to look at him. "Why thank you, kind sir." She giggled. "I figured it was." She beamed, searching his eyes for everything.
“How can something so perfect happen to me?” He asked, leaning in and taking his hands from Darcy’s, only to wrap his arms around her in an embrace, kissing her forehead softly, a smile upon his lips.
Darcy closed her eyes as his lips pressed against her head. She sighed happily, tracing her fingers down his spine, doodling into his skin. "I don't know," she paused in her whisper, kissing his chin, "I have been asking myself the same question, actually." She grinned, squeezing his mid-section comfortingly. This boy. He was going to take up most of her time, most of her thoughts, and most of her heart.
What they had going was perfectly natural. She was extremely happy, her eyes showing it along with all her features. This was the start of something wonderful, and she wouldn't want to ruin it or have anyone ruin it for anything.
Darcy took a heavy breath, basically laying in his lap with her eyes closed, her left hand stroking his chest gently while her right hand ran up and down his back soothingly, every so often running through his hair. She was content with cuddling with him on the couch for the rest of her life. Darcy felt so comfortable, so happy. She was so lucky to have met him. "I'm happy I met you." She whispered into his shirt, taking in his lovely scent and putting it to memory, just like his eyes and taste of his lips.

Bay was running. Not through her own decision mind you, but she was running...no, she was being dragged. Dragged straight through the crowds of Diagon Alley. Witches and Wizards of all ages watched with a mixture of anger, disgust, and most often times, in amusement.
"I'm sorry!" Bay yelled over her shoulder as she bumped into a rather large Wizard. She pulled her arm back, but the pull only seemed to increase. "Belle!" She yelled ahead of her.
Her response: A loud, confident bark. Belle, the one year old German Shepherd, simply refused to slow down. Obviously, she wanted to be home, and she wanted be home now! And so Bay was running to keep up with her hyperactive "baby." It didn't take long for them to get to the front door to the Wizarding apartment complex in Diagon Alley. Belle stopped at the door and sat, wagging her tail and looking up at her human, tongue lolling out and edges of the mouth pulled far back into what could easily be mistaken for a dogs smile.
Bay stopped outside the door to the building and dropped her left hand that carried the edge of the leash to her knee, chest rising and falling violently, and her free hand pressed tight against her beating heart.
"I thought you loved me, Belle." She wheezed. "You are going to be the death of me. And then who will care for you?" She continued her rapid breathing, turning her head sideways to make direct eye-contact with her dog, as she still had a hand rested on one of her knee's. Belle's tail wagged, if possible, more fiercely, and to Bay's, well, actually not surprise, Belle's tongue made contact with Bay's cheek. She wanted to be angry, but she saw the gleam in her pet's eyes and she just laughed, shaking her head.
The girl stood up straight, her breath coming more even now, but she knew it wouldn't last for long. As soon as the door was opened, the hyperactive Belle would take off like a bullet again. Belle knew exactly where home was. Bay clenched her eyes closed, hand on the handle, and took one last deep breath. The door was open and she was jerked forward. There were no elevators, as most people chose the floo. There was however, stairs for those who were not floo friendly. Up the stairs the two went.
Bay managed to keep up with Belle, it was a miracle really, until about the fourth floor, when she tripped on the top landing. A yelp came from Belle as she was pulled backwards on her leash when Bay fell. It was more a startled yelp then anything else. Bay landed on her back. She opened her eyes, her eyes met black.
"Belle, why?" That was all she said she got up. Belle continued at a quick pace, but had slowed down. Probably because they had reached the correct floor.
The apartment was very neat. While there were hallways and doors, the rooms themselves were not actually in Diagon Alley. The doorways were a portal of sorts, though you couldn't tell from looking at it. Bay and Darcy's particular flat, over looked the Muggle part of France. Their neighbor's flat, overlooked the beaches in New Zealand. It was a fantastic magical system.
Bay let out a heavy relieved sigh when she got to the door. Belle began clawing at the door, wanting to be back inside. Belle had needed surgery, and since she was a Muggle breed, had been taken to a Muggle vet. She had been there all week, and Bay was thrilled to finally have her home. Not wanting to be dragged into the room, Bay leaned down to the impatient pup and unhooked her collar and thus her leash from her neck. Belle spun in a tight circle before clawing lightly at the door and looking up and Bay.
"Would you be patient? I am not walking back inside looking like I just got back from swimming." She told her dog. Bay pulled her wand out, cast a re-freshening charm on herself. When she felt as though she were presentable, she opened the door to the apartment.
As suspected, Belle bolted into the apartment, she ran to the farthest corner of the flat and back again, repeating her course four or five times, literally, as was her usual routine when coming home after an extended absence.
"I'm back." Bay called over her shoulder as she shut the door. She turned just in time to see Belle run towards the couch, only to set her paws out forcefully in front of her about a foot away from the couch when she saw Mouse wrapped tightly around Darcy's arm. Unfortunately for Belle, her backside was moving to fast and with too much momentum for her front side to control. She slammed head first into Mathius's gut, and thus into Darcy, before humorously trying to turn at the same time to escape. She ran over the coffee table as if it were but a step and straight back to Bay, pushing through her legs to stand get behind her. Bay couldn't quite get her balance and went to the floor, landing in her back. She yelled out in surprise. She leaned forward and supported her upper body by her elbows.
"Again?" She looked at Belle who was practically in her lap now. Belle was so scared of Mouse that it was one of the funniest things Bay had ever come upon. However, it was days like these when it didn't amuse her.
That was a lie. Even today it was funny.
Bay looked back up over Belle's block head to see Mathius reclining on the couch, and Darcy with one arm wrapped around him, her other laying on his chest beside where her head lay. Bay couldn't suppress the smirk that slipped so naturally onto her face.
But she couldn't be predictable, which would call for stating the obvious, so instead, she merely raised an eyebrow, looked around the place form her spot on the ground and said, "So I see our flat is Darcy durable? Everything still seems to be unburned." She smiled at her best friend.
