Hannah couldn’t believe how god awful her day had been. She didn’t know what in the hell was wrong with that professor but she was dropping the course. She had just tried to help and she got told off for it. She wished she hadn’t came back after all.
She threw her Care Of Magical Creatures book at the wall. She couldn’t believe the professor award students for fighting. She wasn’t sure what upset her more the fight, or being scolded for trying to help out.

Susan had just walked into the common room when a book barely missed her head. She saw that her close friend Hannah had thrown it. She obviously hadn’t had a very good day. She picked the book up as it growled at her.
“Hannah are you okay?” asked Susan “and the book has feelings too.”
She could tell that Hannah wasn’t in the mood to care. They didn’t have many classes together since they were going for different NEWT’s.

Hannah was a bit irritated with Susan at that moment of time but knew she didn’t mean anything by it. She sighed debating if she should tell Susan about her awful day. To her to wasn’t worth talking about but she knew Susan wouldn’t give up.
“Just a bad day. I’m definitely dropping CoMC,” she said “I don’t like the professor. Awarding kids for fighting and snapping at me for trying to help!” She felt like hitting something or screaming but she knew better and had more control then that. She wasn’t one for doing rash stupid things typically. She might do stupid things but they aren’t rash.

Susan knew that someone had upset her friend and planned on getting back on them for it whoever it was. She didn’t mind getting points taken away for getting into a fight or two but she did mind people making fun of her friends. She didn’t have anything to lose, the only living family member she had was in a muggle ward at St. Mungo’s.
“Tell me who did what and I’ll go give them a taste of the Bones attitude,” she said looking Hannah straight in the eyes.
She hated anyone who hurt Hannah even if it was on accident. She didn’t like people who didn’t think about what they say and how it will affect others. She just hated seeing anyone hurt even if they started it.

Hannah smiled lightly. She was glad to have a friend like Susan, someone to counteract her lack of confidence. Susan had always been there even when Hannah didn’t want her there. She was there when Hannah got her first period, when she was struggling to study for OWL’s and when her mother died. She was that voice in the back of Hannah’s head telling her to down new, reckless and adventurous things.
“I’m just angry because I tried to do something about a fight. Of course Professor Rayners yelled at me for trying to help and awarding Gryffindor for starting a fight! I mean awarding students for fighting, there’s something wrong with that,” she snarled.
“I’m dropping the stupid course because there is no way I’m putting up with that class,” she said trying to calm down “What’s the point of taking the course?” She hugged Susan with no warning. She knew physical contact was more awarding then just talking most of the time. Plus she was in the hugging mood.
“Leave the poor Professor alone, he has enough worries,” she said in a soft tone “it doesn't matter.”

Susan didn't fight the hug from her best friend. She knew that Hannah was just worked up over nothing that major but it did irritate her that a professor awarded a student for fighting. Students need to be doing better things the fighting.
"Fine, I leave the professor alone but don't expect me not to pull at least one prank,"
She gave Hannah one of her famous smiles, one of those that are contagious. She never stayed anger for long it was just a bit explosive for a few minutes but it felt like forever to whoever was on the the other end of her temper.

Hannah sighed softly. She knew there was no stopping Susan once she made her mind up. She loved her friend dearly but wished she wasn't so loyal.
"Suzy, I'm not going to stop you but I'm going to tell you that it doesn't bother me. I was being too emotional. Don't even try to argue that with me. Your my best friend and I know that you think that I'm perfect the way I am but that's not true. I'm anything but perfect and I'm fine with that," she said "it's time you realized that we have to grow up and let go of our pasts. It's time to make our families proud of us."
Hannah gave Susan a tight hug. She didn't want to let go afraid Susan would hate her for saying what she did but it was the truth.

Susan smiled softly. She wanted to make to make them all proud of her. She wanted to be able to tell her kids something to be proud of. She was ready to show the world the Bones family is still kicking and screaming.
"Hannah, I can't breath," she chocked out.
"We better go to bed, it's getting late,"
