Carmen had been here for a little while now and she was linking it. She had made a few friends and her best friend so far was a woman who was renting the room down the hall from Carmen's room. She and Claudia got along well and spent a lot of time together. Carmen told her about Eric and about her life growing up. She left out anything to do with deatheaters. Not only did Carmen think that she was talking Claudia's ear off but she did not think the girl would understand Carmen working for the Dark Lord. They had been out shopping today. Claudia was the type of girl everything looked great on but she had wanted Carmen's opinion. They entered the Three Broomsticks now with both women loaded down with Claudia's bags. The pub was busy tonight. Carmen looked around quickly but saw no one she knew. She started across the large room passing by the booths as the two women headed for the staircase leading up to the hotel potion. Wearing www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=45318558

Eric was just waking up, and it was quite later than usual. It didn't help that there was a full moon last night, and of course he would be quite tired. "I need a drink...now!" he thought to himself as he got up out of bed slowly. He went over to the table and sat down and looked at the ashtray and stared. He finally grabbed his ciggaretts and lit one. He puffed and puffed and just stared off into space. He then thought about that drink.
He got himself ready and threw on his tranch coat, and he dissapparated to the three broomsticks. How he couldn't wait to taste the first sip of a nice cold brandy. He walked up to the three broomsticks and walked in the door and took a quick look around, but saw really no one. He then heard his nae being called from across the pub. "Hey Eric..over here" as the man waved vigourously to catch his attention.
Eric turned and looked at the man. "Wesley my good friend..I'll be over in a miniute" he shouted at him. Eric ordered his Brandy from the barkeep and headed towards the table. He hasn't seen Wesley in ages. They would often get together and get right drunk and have great times, and he couldn't wait to catch up on things.
They talked and talked and laughed and laughed, like they always did together. Even after a rough night, Eric was having a great time. At this point Eric could barley speak. He had ordered 7 brandy's and 6 scotch's in an hour and a half. He was sucking it back like water, but he was having so much fun he couldn't care less.
All of a sudden the door practically breaks open with two woman that entered. Their hands were full of shopping bags and they looked quite exauhsted. "Hey Eric..look at these two lovely ladies walking in....how I would like to get my hands on them", Wesley said to him with a nastly man look on his face...you know what he was thinking. Eric heard his voice but couldn't act on it. He tried to turn around and look but he was unable to do so. He was lit right up to the sky...he could barley talk at this point for god sakes.
He heard the woman walking up behind him and one was about to pass. Not realizing the damage he could cause, he reached out quickly and grabbed the woman quite forcefully. He then at the same time kicked out the chair next to him and made her sit there. It was quite frightning actually..the man was wrecked.
He than stood up and was unbelievably wobbly. "Haavve aa sseat yyou..llady". He really shouldn't be speaking to a woman right now..infact anyone at the moment. He was making himself look like he was mentally ill.
"WWhhat ddoo yyou dddrink?" he stutterd at her, barley being able to speak and open his eyes at this point.

Carmen struggled to regain her balance. She gave a short yelp as she fell and then landed in the chair. Cordeliahurried to the table with anger and concern on her face. "What the hell is going on?" Cordelia asked loudly and took Carmen's hand to pull her back up. "Haavve aa sseat yyou..llady". She heard and Carmen turned to look at the man that had grabbed her.
Her mouth fell slightly and then she shut it as her eyes fell on Eric. Great...just great! A wonderful time for Cordelia to meet the man Carmen had been yammering about. He was standing now and she had to look up at him. "WWhhat ddoo yyou dddrink?" He asked her and Carmen grasped his belt in her hand and yanked him back down into his seat. "Sit down., Eric!" She hissed at her boyfriend.
Cordelia arched an eyebrow at the name and then she slowly sank into the chair across from Carmen's. "This is Eric...?" Cordelia asked and Carmen nodded slightly looking apologetically at her friend. The waiter was making his way to the table again. "Can I get the ladies anything?" The waiter asked.
Carmen looked up at the man. Cordelia ordered first and then the man siting beside her. "I'll have a fire whiskey, Please." She told him. Carmen looked at the table in front of Eric seeing the numerous glasses. 'And he will have water...he does not need to make a fool of himself anymore." The waiter looked at Eric and then left to fill the order. Carmen said nothing except to introduce herself to the other male. When the order came, the glasses were handed out.

At this point, Eric has no idea what the day of the week it is. Something strange always happens to him when he mixes brandy and scotch. He was trying to look straight ahead, but could not make out what was infront of him. It was a colourful mess, that he was sure of. So he did what any drunk would...just go with the flow.
After he managed to open his mouth and ask the two woman what they wanted to drink (which by the way sounded like a stuttering terrets patient) he was all of a sudden brought back down to his chair so fast that his feet fell from underneath him and he almost didn't land on his chair.
"Sit down Eric", this mysterious woman (to him) spoke to him in a hissing tone. Then he heard the other woman voice speak, "This is Eric...?" . At this point in he is really thinking that he has gone loopy and is hearing voices. He picked up his glass, and while holding it he points his finger barley at the 2 woman. "Hhow dd-oo you kknnow mm-mmy name?, he asked them with a huge stutter. He was holding the glass so tight it was shaking in his hand and it looked like it was going to break right there. He had no clue what he was doing.
The bar keep came up to the table and he took everyone's orders. "I'll hhave a oorannge twisssstt", Wesley said as he waved his money around. "I'll have a fire whiskey"'And he will have water...he does not need to make a fool of himself anymore, she said. Eric turned to the woman, and then sat back in his chair hard and just looked at her with his eyes half open, still holding the glass tight. The barkeep looked at Eric and there was no response from him. He was silent and that was never a good thing with him.
He noticed that his friend was talking to this woman that was ordering him around, and he didn't like it for some reason. He watched and watched as they were talking, and it was really making him angry. The barkeep returned and handed out all the drinks, and when Eric noticed his was water after tasting it ...he snapped.
All of a sudden he stood up, and with this glass still in his hand he flung all the empty glasses off of the table and then he wipped his mouth. He sat down really quickly and whisped the hair out of his face. "Hoow ddo yyou kknow mmmy nnname bbitch? he awaited an answer but it was quite silent it seemed.
"HHow?... I asked you" he growled at them, as he slammed the glass of water down on the table. He slammed it down so hard that the glass broke and it cut his hand bad and there was blood gushing out everywhere. At the same time, all the water splashed everywhere and it mostly went all over Carmen.
"AAAHHHH" Eric screamed as he grabbed his hand and noticed all of the blood. His eyes started to become red as fire, and he quickly reached out and grabbed Carmen by the throat. Eric pulled her tightly close to him and began growling in her face.
"Everything was fine until you two wenches showed up" he sneered at them, while squeezing a bit harder around her throat.

She knew he was drunk out of his gourd. She knew he was strong and a werewolf...but she did not expect his anger. So when he snapped, it is needles to say that Carmen was frightened. She watched him get quickly to his feet ad then all hell seemed to let loose. The table was suddenly wiped clean of all of the empty glasses and then he was speaking.
"Hoow ddo yyou kknow mmmy nnname bbitch?" He asked and Carmen looked at him stunned. He had never called her that before. "HHow?... I asked you" She saw the glass in his hand and knew what he was going to do but Carmen was not quick enough to get out of the way. The glass came down and it shattered under the impact. Glass shards, blood and water flew everywhere.
She felt two things at once. A sharp piece of glass flew up and slipped along her skin leaving a deep and painful gash across her cheek just under her left eye and at the same time, she was suddenly drenched in very cold water. Carmen let out a scream that was smothered by his own. She could hear Claudia yelling and the other male as well but Carmen's attention was pulled back to Eric when he took her by the throat. She was confused and scared of this man right now.
Carmen could feel hands on her trying to pull her away but his grip tightened and she could barely breath. As he pulled her close to him, Carmen could see the change in his eyes. He was shifting...he would kill her. She could hear his growls. "Everything was fine until you two wenches showed up" He told her and Carmen began to see spots in her vision. She did not know what to do. Her hands moved to his shoulders trying to push him back. "Eric..." She gasped. "It's me...Carmen.." He one hand slowly reached for her wand. She had to stop this.
"Petrificus Totalus." She cast finally getting her wand out. Suddenly his hand was yanked away from her as his body was bound tightly by the spell. Relashio was the only spell that would unbind him and Carmen was not going to be there when it happened... She jumped to her feet now barely aware of the fact that her shirt was soaked and nearly see through. Claudia tried to grab her arm but Carmen yanked away. She was very pale and her legs were shaking. She was crying quite freely now. Carmen reached out and slapped him across the face now. "I hate you!" She yelled at him and then fled the room.
Carmen hurried up the staircase to her room and then across the room to the rose he had given her just days ago. She ripped the rose from its vase and threw it with a scream into the garbage can beside the door. Carmen moved to the mirror looking at the cut and blood under her eye. "Oh..." She moaned to herself. "I just don't care anymore..." The tears started again and she threw herself face down on her bed and cried like she had never cried before. Her sobs were mournful and she did not realize that she had forgotten to close her door.
Downstairs, Claudia had gathered her bags and the ones left by Carmen in one hand she approached Eric now and with her free hand slapped him again only on the other side of his face. "You fucking bastard!" She screamed at him. "What the fuck is wrong with you? Your not good enough for her." Claudia knew Carmen had not meant her words but Claudia felt for the girl. She then too, left and headed up to her own room. Carmen would not want her around right now.

Everyone in the pub was on their gaurd when they had seen what Eric was doing to this poor woman. He watched and observed everyone while he was grasping on to her neck by turning his head right to left, and then he looked back at Carmen as his eyes grew more of a blood red...almost back in colour.
"Eric, you damb fool...whaat are you ddoing?", Wesley said to him in pure shock. He was unaware that Eric was a warewolf and couldn't believe what he had just witnessed. Eric looked over at Wesley and growled at him deeply, and then looked back at Carmen and was squeezing tighter. He had completly lost it, not only that he had exposed himself in away that is probably non fixable, and destroying the love of his life..and doesn't even realize it.
He stared at her and noticed there was an good amount of blood dripping from the woman's face that resembled as if she was crying. She was struggling to try and get him off of her, but failed..he was strong. He heard a faint sound comming from her mouth, "Eric... It's me...Carmen.." He scrinched his face a little when he heard the name Carmen. It was a name he knew all to well. He blinked the right eye and then the left and then both at the same time, and the people in the pub were just observing this awful situation with their wands pointing at Eric. His sight became quite clear in a matter of seconds when he heard that name.
"Carmen?....My Carmen?" he said in sheer shame as he noticed it was the love of his life. His grip lightend and his eyes were slowly becomming back to normal when all of a sudden Carmen whipped out her wand and casted Petrificus Totalus." on him. His arm was removed very quickly from her throat and He was bound right after from her cast. He could't move at all.
Everyone in the pub lowerd their wands and backed away a bit and they all started to head for the door. They didn't want to be around when or if he was able to move again. Eric was still concious of course and could see her comming over to him and couldn't stand to see and finally realize that he had done to her. He then watched as her hand quickly smacked him in the face and he heard her words in clear english, "I hate you" as he watched her go upstairs to her room. He was shattered and ashamed of himself. He couldn't believe what he had done to her, and knew that they would be over.
"Smack" he felt and heard as the other woman had slapped his face and screamed quite loudly at him. " You fucking bastard! what the fuck is wrong with you? Your not good enough for her." , and he watched as she went up to her own room. Eric was sick to his stomach with his actions and wanted to run after her but her was bound and still could not move. It was a very powerful spell and knew it would take a strong Ralashio charm to break it.
Wesley went over to Eric and lowered his mouth to his ear and whisperd to him. "I'm going to set you free...only if you act yourself..do you understand?". he stood back up and held out his wand and looked at him. "I mean it Eric..and you will aid that poor girl after what you have done to her, and that is the only reason I am willing to release you", he said to him in a very strict tone. Wesley said that word "Relashio" as he curled his wand inward. Eric was able to move quite quickly after Wesley let him loose. He looked at him and moved closer to him to thank him, but Wesley was terrified of him and ran out of the pub.
Eric ran to the bar counter demanding hot water in a bowl, alcohol, and a clean rag. The barkeep was so terrified of Eric that he quickly gathered everything that he asked for and watched as Eric ran upstairs to Carmen's room. He owed it to her after what he had done, and it was all happeing so fast that he never thought of the consequences. He could hear crashing noises from her room which made it quite clear what would happen to him, but he didn't care he loved her and it was the very least he could do.
He was standing at the top of the stairs with the bowl of hotwater, the alcohol and the clean rag in his hands and watched as she was lying on her bed face down. " Carmen......" he said to her with a gulp in his throat, as he looked down and noticed a shattered vase on the floor with the rose that he gave her only 2 days ago thrown lifeless in the garbage.

"Carmen......" She heard him say and Carmen flinched. Her body shook with the pain of her face, the bruises forming on her neck from his hand and the raw emotions coursing through her. Plus she was so cold. The water from the glass he had broken made her shirt stick to her skin. Carmen sobbed not wanting to show him how much he had hurt her. But she could not stop crying. All of the pain combined was just too much.
"Just go away..." Carmen finally cried. Her voice was muffled by the bed. She was terrified of him. Of his anger and what he had and could so to her. Everything they had worked on, how close they had gotten, it was all gone. She knew the drinking was to blame but he liked to drink. This would happen again if she let her guard down around him again. She would never let that happen again. Never... Carmen sat up now on the bed and pressed herself against the wall behind her.
She looked horrible. Her bra was showing through her shirt as was her stomach. Blood almost covered the left side of her face and there was blood on the bed from where she had been laying. Her face was stained with tears and her eyes were blood shot. Carmen looked up at him for a moment before she started crying again. She couldn't help it. She looked down at the bed between her legs quickly.
"Why are here?" She almost whispered. "Didn't you hurt me enough?" She stood now still not looking at him and moved back to the mirror. Carmen glanced into the mirror again and probed at the cut on her face searching for glass. She whimpered at the pain this caused. In the mirror, she looked at him seeing the items in his hands. Carmen needed that...
She turned towards him now and then gingerly stepped towards the man. She wanted to shove him out of the room but was afraid to touch him. Carmen shook as she stood as far away from him as she could but still being able to reach the bowl, bottle and cloth. Carmen took them quickly without meeting his eyes and then backed away before turning back to the mirror again.
Carmen set the stuff on the counter under the mirror and then dipped the cloth in the water and began trying to clean the wound. Her hand shook with the pain and fresh tears came.

Eric wasn't sure if he should be there or not, but he had to be there for her. He waited for a reply, and then he finally heard her speak but it was quite muffled. "Just go away", she said to him. He could tell she was frightend. She was shaking and trembling and he could see that from a far distance, and it made his heart drop to the floor.
As she moved upward, he just stood there holding the bowl, alcohol, and the rag and he couldn't believe the way she looked. He couldn't believe that he had done this to her..the woman of his life. All of the crying that she had been doing had made her face so puffy and practically unreaconizable and not to mention the devestating cut underneath her eye. The blood alone covered half her face. Her breasts were a bit visable aswell as her bra due to the water soaking her when the glass smashed. The pooor girl was a mess.
"Carmen...I..." he said to her, but was quickly cut off by the angry and devistated Carmen. "Why are here?" Didn't you hurt me enough?", she said to him with alot of fear in her voice. He didn't know what to do because he felt so badly. He watched as she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. Eric just stood there dumbfounded and could barley look at her. He was seriously sick at what he had done to her. He wanted to take his own life right there, and if he didn't he knew someone would probably do it for him.
"Can I please help you Carmen..I'm not going to hurt you", he said to her pleading. "I'm so sorry Carmen..". As he was finishing speaking, Carmen walked over and grabbed the supplies that he brought up to her. Even though she never acknowledged him, he was quite happy she took his gesture. "I love you so much...I'm so sorry", he said to her with a quiver in his voice. He watched her as she started to wash off the blood.
"Can I please help you clean up...or do you want me to leave you?" he said to her quietly as he started to walk up behind her, in hopes that she would let him help her and express how unbelievably sorry he was. Deep down, Eric knew it was over and everything that evolved between them would be no more, but he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could before he would never be able to see her again.

"Can I please help you clean up...or do you want me to leave you?" He asked her. Carmen didn't know...she didn't know what she wanted. She wanted him but was so afraid of him. He had tried to kill her. He had had her by the throat. He was going to shift... he could have killed everyone in the entire bar. Carmen shivered at the thought.
Through the looking glass, Carmen noticed him suddenly move. She let him get closer and closer before she could take it no more. She turned on him now with fear widened eyes. "Get out!" She screamed at him now. She wanted him to hold her but would never...ever let him know that again.
"Get out my room! You're an alcoholic and violent!" She stepped closer to him. The pain and fear gave her strength. Carmen placed her hands on his chest and pushed him backwards. "I hate what you are..." She sobbed the tell tale tears forming in her eyes again. Her chest was heavy.
One of Carmen's hands formed a fist and she hit his chest. It was not enough to hurt him but enough for him to feel it. "I hate what you've done to me..." Carmen released him now and then turned away from him. "Look at my face." She cried now. "You ruined my face...you bastard. You're just like he is." She added meaning Voldemort. Carmen did not realize at that moment that she had never told him the relationship between she and the Dark Lord. Her heart was breaking. First Voldemort had ignored her and now Eric had put his hands on her. "Carmen did not know what she wanted.

Eric waited for a response from Carmen, but it was quite delayed. He had a hard time looking at her knowing what pain he had caused her. He needed to show her how sorry he was for this huge mistake, but how would someone go abouts doing this. He had a sure feeling that Carmen was a very, very powerful witch, and he knew that she could do some serious harm to him. So he wanted to watch his every move and not overstep his boundries.
He walked closer to her just to let her know he wasn't going to hurt her, but he had to be careful not to startle her. "Get out" she shouted at him. "Get out of my room now..you an alcholoic and violent". Eric was all of a sudden pushed backwards, and without a choice he heard the words he never ever wanted to hear. "I hate what you are" she screamed at him, and it made Eric's heart ache with every word she was saying to him.
"I hate what you've done to me... look at my face.. you ruined my face...you bastard. You're just like he is". Eric cringed with each punch that she gave him, and tried to not notice her wounds but it was quite hard with all the dried blood on her face and his hand print around her neck.
Eric quickly grabbed Carmen's hands and held them at chest level, giving her a bit of a shake. " Carmen..please..let me explain..please!" he begged and pleaded to her. He then pulled her closer to him and his eyes were starting to fill up with water.
"Carmen..I can't believe I have done this too you", he said to her as his voice was becomming more shaken. "You know that if I was my normal self..I would have never laid a finger on you..you know how I feel about you...please forgive me...please!" he begged her, as he held her hands in his and went quickly to the ground on his knees asking for forgivness.
He looked up at her quite confused by what she had said. He didn't want to stir the pot, but she had said it for a reason and he was wondering what she had meant by it. "Carmen..?" he asked her quietly because he didn't want to upset her more than she already had. " What did you meen when you said I was just like him?.....Who's Him?, he asked her confused while he got back up to a standing possition and stated to move towards the water. He grabbed the rag in hopes she would let him help her clean up while he awaited her response.

Carmen fought for a moment when he took her hands in his. She gasped as she was shook slightly and then Carmen bit her lower lip and looked down. It kept running through her mind that he was going to hurt her again. She didn't even have her wand on her right now. It was laying on the bed where she had thrown herself.
Carmen shook slightly with nerves as he begged with her. " Carmen..please..let me explain..please!" She could not stop him from pulling her forward until she could feel his breath on her. The same breath she loved to feel just a few days ago. She was so close now that he just wanted to put her head to his chest but knew that she could not. She could not cave to him. Carmen did not want to spend any more of their relationship being abuse whenever he got drunk. She was silent however.
"Carmen..I can't believe I have done this too you" He told her. Carmen shook her head. She couldn't believe it either. "You know that if I was my normal self..I would have never laid a finger on you..you know how I feel about you...please forgive me...please!" He told her now and when he got to his knees, he pulled her slightly forward as well.
"No," She told him. She was crying again and her voice was no longer angry but so sad instead. "It wasn't you. It was the alcohol. And you always drink..." When he said her name again Carmen met his eyes slowly. " What did you mean when you said I was just like him?.....Who's Him?,"
She watched him stand and then take the rag that was already turning pink with her blood. She blushed slightly though it was hard to see now. Why had she said that? Why didn't he already know like the others did? "Voldemort..." She whispered now. "That's why I was living there. I was his... But he used me. He ignored me unless he wanted to get off..."
Carmen hitched a sob now. "He had complete control over me." Carmen thought back to the time when Voldemort had watched as she and Bellatrix had argued during at meeting with Voldemort being the root cause. She tried to remember if Eric had been at the meeting. "He hurt me whenever he could..." She was silent now.
She would let him help her with her face but that was all. She could not do it herself. It hurt too much for her to touch her face. And so she could not clean it properly. Carmen stood there now visibly shaken and pain filling her eyes as she waited.

Carmen was struggling a bit when he was asking her for forgivness, but Eric just kept holding her hands tight in his own. "No, It wasn't you. It was the alcohol. And you always drink" she said to him with sadness. It was true, Eric did drink...alot. Eric knew this himself years ago, but he loved to just sit back and relax and have a few brandy's..it was his thing. He knew that his drinking habbits would have to change, expecially from this incident.
Eric let go of her hands and grabbed the rag again and dipped it into the water. He held the side of her face in his hand, and with the other hand he started wiping down her face. He was trying to peice together who she was refering himself too, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He really had no clue.
Eric knew that she was a deatheater, and she must have been to the meetings but he had never noticed her before. Eric would usually sit at the meetings staring at his glass of brandy on the table and just listened to the dark lord as he spoke. He was trying to think of who this person could be, but he still had no clue. He was nervous about it but he had to ask.
" What did you mean when you said I was just like him?.....Who's Him?," He looked at Carmen and she looked back at him surprised. "Voldemort..." She whispered to him. "That's why I was living there. I was his... But he used me. He ignored me unless he wanted to get off. "He had complete control over me. "He hurt me whenever he could", Eric watched her sob as she was telling hin this, and he didn't like hearing this one bit.
"Voldermort?...and you didn't tell me this", he said to her as he backed away from her a bit. "I had no clue of this" he said to her again with a very confused look on his face. "I never ever saw the two of you together" he said with even a more confused look. He picked up the rag and started to wipe her face again. He was no wiping the last spot of blood off of her face and was inspecting her cut to see of there was any glass, and there seemed to be none.
Eric moved her over to the bed and layed her back so that she was laying down. "You rest for a minuite and I will fix you a cup of tea" he said to her while he brushed her face with his hand. He moved over to the garbage can and picked the rose out, and placed it in a glass by her mirror and then looked at her and smiled as he went downstairs and got her a tea.
Eric couldn't shake the thought that Carmen was Voldermorts woman. He couldn't help but wonder if Volermort knew about their affair, and he became a bit frightend due to the fact that they got together while she was still living in his home. This was a man you did not want to mess with, and technically he did. This wasn't a time or the place for this conversation and this moment was for Carmen and her alone.
Moments passed, and then Eric walked back into the room and set the cup of tea on her nightstand next to her bed. He considered himself very lucky to be able to be around her now. All he could think of was how much he loved her and his llife would be destroyed if she left him. If he could never see her face again, he wouldn't know what to do with himself.
Eric sat on the edge of her bed and took off her shoes and started to massage them for her. He wondered for a second if this was a good idea, because she had every right to kick him right in the face for what he had done to her. He just wanted to be close to her, because he didn't know how long it would be until she told him that this relationship was over.
"Ya know what Carmen?", he said to her with a serious look. "I will make you a promise right now, that I will never have another drink again.. and this will be my vow to you" he said to her in all seriousness. Eric kept massaging her feet as he spoke to her. "I never want to loose you and I've very deeply, truly sorry and I hope you can forgive me one day", he said with a smile as he continued to still massage her feet.

Carmen lost all fight when he began to wash the blood from her face. She knew that she could not clean it properly on her own. It hurt too much and the fact of knowing that she was causing herself the pain made her stop. She she stood then and bit her lower lip as she tried to hold back the sobs. Plus there was the fact that his other hand cupping her face felt so nice. But that was stupid. She knew first hand that he could hurt her. She could not let her guard down again. Not with him.
"Voldermort?...and you didn't tell me this", He asked her and Carmen looked up at him. Was he serious? "I had no clue of this" He added. "I never ever saw the two of you together" Carmen scoffed slightly. "Funny... everyone else did." She told him. "It was almost painfully obvious." When he began to check the cut Carmen whimpered. She allowed him to lead her to the bed and then lay back with her bed on her pillow. "You rest for a minute and I will fix you a cup of tea" He told her and Carmen nodded softly.
She was very worn out by all of this. She turned her head to watch him rescue the rose but said nothing. It was not very long before he had returned and Carmen could smell the tea. She sat up and reached for it. "Thank you." She whispered taking the hot cup into her pale hands and taking a slow sip.
Carmen watched with caution as he sat but when he began to massage her feet, Carmen gave a murmur of pleasure before she could stop herself. She knew what he was trying to do and it did not make Carmen forget but it did feel good. She was still very much frightened of him however, and she watched him over her tea carefully.
She knew him now. Better than she had before. He could be abusive. And with the werewolf part of him, deadly. She did not know what to say. Carmen wanted him gone. But at the same time, she knew that she had not meant what she had said before. She didn't hate him. That was shy her heart was hurting so much. She loved him. And she loved what he was. But he had damaged the trust she had had in him. And that was important.
"Ya know what Carmen?"He told her now and Carmen, who had been watching his hands for a moment, looked up to meet his eyes. "I will make you a promise right now, that I will never have another drink again.. and this will be my vow to you" She was silent. "I never want to loose you and I've very deeply, truly sorry and I hope you can forgive me one day"
Carmen looked down at her tea again and nodded her head. "I don't know Eric." She told him now. "You scared me today. "I know you can be violent. I know you can hurt me. It's scarey..." Her voice cracked as she spoke. "I'm afraid of you." She could not bring herself to meet his eyes now.

Eric was massaging her feel and could see that she wasn't her same self, and she had fear written all over her face. He knew that he had done some damage not only to her physically but emotionally aswell. Eric then got an image and a thought in his head, now knowing that Carmen was Voldermorts what will he say when he see's her. This could wind up getting ugly but he coudn't think of that now, he knew he had tore Carmen apart and fixing her was his priority He smiled at her watching her drink the tea he had gotten for her, still erasing that thought out of his head. Then he heard a small murmer comming from her now, since she haden't answerd back to his vow to her, so he listened anxiously to what she was about to say. "I don't know Eric...you scared me today, I know you can be violent... I know you can hurt me. It's scarey...I'm afraid of you". Eric hung his head in sheer shame from what she had told him, and it defenatly wasn't what he wanted to hear. He picked his head back up while still rubbing her feet and noticed she wasn't even looking at him. He then let her feel go and moved slightly towards her in a crawling motion. "Carmen, I'm not going to hurt you" he reassured her as he moved closer and closer to her holding his arm out towards her. He lied next to her brushing her hair out of her face and moved her tea cup from her hands. He reached over and put it on her nightstand and grazed her breat slightly as he moved back over by accident though. "Opps..sorry Carmen, I really didn't meen to do that", he said with a bit of a chuckle. He grabbed underneath her chin and raised her face a little so he could look into her eyes. "Carmen, I don't know what I can do to fix this situation" he said to her seriously. " I just remebered that I had picked this up for you the other day because it reminded me of your beauty", he said to her as he reached into his coat and pulled out a black velvet box. "I don't expect this to fix anything, but I wanted to give it to you just incase I leave here tonight and never get to see you again", he said to her as he hung his head down a little. He then handed the box over to her with a smile. "Go ahead...open it". sparkly.com.au/image/cache/data/DSC02448-500x500.jpg

Carmen watched him with widening eyes as he crawled towards her. She was suddenly much more nervous again. Carmen leaned back as he took the tea from her. when his arm brushed against her chest, Carmen stiffened. "Opps..sorry Carmen, I really didn't mean to do that" He told her but Carmen did not reply. She looked down at her hands that were now on folded in front of her.
She flinched slightly when Eric took her chin. She was forced to meet his eyes. "Carmen, I don't know what I can do to fix this situation" He told her. Carmen still did not reply. She did not know what to say to him. A part of her wanted to tell him that it was okay but she knew that that would not be the best way to go with this.
" I just remembered that I had picked this up for you the other day because it reminded me of your beauty", Eric told her now and her eyes now moved to follow his hand. "I don't expect this to fix anything, but I wanted to give it to you just in case I leave here tonight and never get to see you again",
She took the box slowly and ran her slim fingers over the soft covering of the box as he continued to speak. "Go ahead...open it". Carmen slowly opened the box slowly and looked down at the necklace silently for a long moment.
It was beautiful of course. But Carmen did not know what to think. He was trying to buy her forgiveness? But he had said that he had bought it before... But then again, did she believe him? She did not know what to say...
Finally she sighed. "It's beautiful, Eric." She finally said and then took the necklace from the box and opened the clasp. She turned her back to him and then held the necklace around her throat for him to do up.
