When Hermione excused herself, Ron glanced at her retreating back curiously. Had he really disturbed her that badly? He said nothing however. Ron just looked back at the food discouraged. " I can only sleep for a few hours at a time, Yeah the scar is nippy through the night, I'm going to have to face him eventually Ron, The feeling when you know someone wants to kill you" Harry told him and Ron nodded. Of course. Ron heard Harry get himself a drink and did not realize how close the other male had come to him until Harry spoke again. " Is Hermione okay?" Harry asked and Ron blushed slightly.
He shrugged. "We were fine." Ron told Harry. "We were talking about her family and I just put an arm around her and she got all weird...a girl thing I guess." Ron did not know how to tell Harry how he felt about Hermione. He did not know if Harry would laugh or make a joke out of it so Ron stayed silent. The food was ready not long after and Ron summoned three plates with his wand and then separated the food onto the plates. He handed on to Harry and then moved to the back door. Ron poked his head out and softly called to Hermione. He did not want to wake anyone. "You gonna eat?"

Harry watched Ron blush and smiled to himself. He knew what Ron was feeling but he didnt want to say anything, it was up to Ron to tell Harry. If he trusted and wanted Harry to know he would say. Harry took the plate from Ron and made his way to the table. He started to eat some egg and then placed his fork on the plate. He wasn't that hungry again, he wasn't eating alot these days, which was obvious in him getting slimmer everyday, he knew Mrs Weasley would go nuts if she seen how much weight hes lost.
Harry waited to see if he would want anymore after a minute and took a sip of water from his glass, he looked at the clock and noticed how early it was, everyone else was asleep. He thought to himself what the trio would do next, he hoped Hermione had thought of that, she was good at planning, He got up from the table and decided to wash the pans while the other two sat down. He scrubbed the oily pan and placed it on the dryer. Watching Ron and Hermione outside from thw window as he did.

A feeling shot through Hermione when she heard Ron's voice. She turned her head slightly and said, "Oh, yes, thank you." But she also needed to talk to Harry. Later, she resolved. She stood and walked over to Ron. "What did you make?" She asked, and then realized she was way to close to him. She tried to back away slowly but slipped on a stone and grabbed Ron in order to prevent herself from falling. It didn't work. The two tumbled down (OOC/ would that be godmodding? If it is I can change it.) and Hermione gasped. She was so close to him, but did she want to be? How would Harry respond?
"Oh... Sorry..." She said quietly. She looked up at him and waited for him to get up.

Ron watched as Hermione stood and then made her way towards him. "Oh, yes, thank you." She said and Ron nodded. "What did you make?" She asked now. Ron was about to reply when suddenly her feet seemed to go out from under her and she clasped onto him. Normally, Ron would have been able to hold her weight against his but as it was, he was unprepared. He was instead brought down with her and Ron gasped as first his knees hit the rocky ground and then he landed on his elbows. It smarted and Ronald grimaced slightly. Then he realized the position they were in. Ron was on top of her. His arms on either side of her body.
This was as close as he had ever been to her and to be quite honest, he liked it. Even with the circumstance in which the position had evolved. "Oh... Sorry..." She told him silently and Ron's eyes went to her lips before meeting her eyes. This was his chance, he knew that. It was fate but dare he take advantage of it? He dared. Without saying a word, Ron's head lowered slightly and he took her lips in a soft and barely there kiss. When he broke the kiss, he blushed a fiery red and then stood quickly. Ronald took Hermione's hand and then pulled her to her feet as well. "I'm sorry..." He whispered and then followed with "Are you okay?" He released her hand now.

Harry looked up from the sink and seen both Ron and Hermione on the ground out the window. He looked at them both with a confused look. He assumend they fell over, he wasn't watching at the time. He then watched as Ron leaned in and kissed her. Harry stood at the window , he didn't know what to do, does he look away? does he pretend he saw nothing. She thought they both liked eachother , but never did think about how he would feel about them both together. He stood at the window puzzled.
He then felt a rush of pain to his head. He put his hand on his scar, he didn't know why he did it , it didnt stop or help the pain. He poured himself another glass of water and took a sip. He looked back out the window, Ron and Hermione were still outside. He walked back over to the table and sat down, the pain had gone again. He ate another bit of egg and sipped on his water waiting for the other two to come in. He didnt know what he was going to say to them....

Hermione felt his lips and was actually happy with it. She was dazed when he pulled away and helped her up. He was blazing red, and he pulled her up. He released her hand and said, "I'm sorry... Are you okay?" She smiled at him and took his hand. "There's absolutely nothing to apologize for Ron. I am fine." 'Fine' was an understatement. Hermione felt as if she was walking on a cloud. She felt light.
But then she looked through the window. Harry. He was looking at them and Hermione turned as red as a beet. She turned back to Ron and said, "Ron... Harry...." She wasn't sure she wanted to bring him inside, so she didn't. She waited for him to make his move.
OOC/ I will not do this again. I have figured out the problem and will have it fixed very soon.

"There's absolutely nothing to apologize for Ron. I am fine." She told him and Rod nodded without looking at her. He could not believe that he had taken that kind of risk. He was at a lost for words and then Hermione spoke again. Her voice sounded nervous. "Ron... Harry...." Ron glanced at her and then at the window. There was no one there now but Ron had no doubt what had happened. Harry had seen them.
Ron blushed even more. Ron did not know how Harry was going to take to this but after a few minutes, Ron knew that they could not stay out here forever. He slowly opened the door and then stepped inside. Harry was at the table. Ron took his and Hermione's and then handed Hermione hers before sitting across from Harry. He glanced at the dark haired male once and then started to eat. The food was cold now but it was better then trying to think of something to say.

Harry sat eating his egg and looked up to see Ron and Hermione walking in. Harry felt slightly awkward, what would the say? what would he say? he ate his egg looking down on his plate. He looked up and looked at them both, he didnt think he would hav a problem with the both being together, it would be strange at first but he would get used to it, but maybe that if Rom could see Harry didnt mind, Then maybe he would ease off about Ginny and accept that.
He just didnt want a relationship to get in the way of there adventure, it was important they could focus and do what they have to do. He smiled at them both and took a sip from his water. He looked at them both, about to say something wasn't sure how to start it, " You guys okay? is it cold outside?" what a stupid question to ask he thought to himself..maybe he didn't mean to kiss her, maybe its been going on for a long time and they had been hiding it from Harry. He would understand why, Harry was under to much strain..

Hermione felt extremely awkward walking into the kitchen of the Burrow. She sat down silently and began to eat while her thoughts wondered. She had already been able to admit her feelings for Ron to herself. Honestly, that had been the easy part. The struggle would be her handling of the situation. Hermione always had a plan, and was always able to cope with situations in one form or another. But now, after what had just transpired in the yard, she wasn't so sure of herself. If her kiss with Ron was anything to go by, it was no secret that the group dynamics had just changed.
By the end of their first year in school, the three had been a trio, growing closer and closer by the year; the level of their friendships to each other deepening as time moved forward. Hermione couldn't help but wonder how much would change if they went from a trio of friends, to a romantically involved couple and their friend. Of course, in hindsight, nothing would change. Not really anyways. They would all still be friends, and Hermione would never allow a relationship to distract her from the task at hand. Besides, the outcome of their task would play a large role in the advancements, or even lack there of, concerning her and Ron's relationship. Perhaps she was over thinking this. It was just a kiss after all.
Hermione was pulled from her thoughts by Harry's voice, and just managed to catch the last of what he was saying.
"...cold outside?" His face flushed, which resulted in a blush of her own. It was obvious that Harry was fishing for conversation starters. Ron cleared his throat and Hermione spoke.
"It's not too bad. Could be worse." She finished her cold breakfast and rose with her dishes. "I was wondering if you had given our plans anymore thought. Maybe decided on a time frame of some sort." After setting her dishes in the sink she returned to her spot beside Ron, unconsciously sitting a little closer then she normally would have. She looked up at Harry expectantly.

Harry was sitting at the table eating his breakfast and couldn't help but notice that his two best friends were acting somewhat strange. Harry just sat there and listened and obseved their every word and move, while thinking about what there next step would be to find and destroy all of voldamorts Horecrux's. Harry looked up and noticed that Haromine was just sitting there with a look on her face that she is in another world. Harry thought he would bring it upon himself to brerak the silence. "Cold outside?", he asked her.
It's not too bad. Harry didn't know or how he could possibly answer that question, since he was left in the dark himself. Harry looking down at his now cool breakfast, moving his fork up and down on the food and looked over at Ron and than Haromine. " I don't know" he said confused. " really don't have much to work with" he loooked down at his plate and then spoke to Haromine " Dumbledor didn't tell me anything that you two don't already know" he said to the pair and then looked back down at his plate. He got up and moved his plate over to the sink and scaped the leftovers into the garbage and put his dish on the counter and turned around and said to them both " All I know is that we need to start somewhere" he looked straight at Haromine.
"Do you have any idea's Haromine?", hopeing that she would since she was the smarter of the two because Harry had no idea. This was something that they were going to have to brain storm together.

"...cold outside?" Harry asked as if he had not seen anything and Ron looked at the other male. He saw the redness in Harry face and knew then that yes Harry knew and was just trying to avoid the situation. "It's not too bad. Could be worse." Hermione told Harry and Ron nodded in agreement. He watched as Hermione stood and moved across the kitchen. That was when he looked down and noticed that he had finished his own breakfast without even realizing it.
He shrugged now. "I was wondering if you had given our plans anymore thought. Maybe decided on a time frame of some sort." Hermione added as she came back to sit beside him. He felt her thigh against his and grinned a little. Their kiss outside had been a door opener. Ron would stay quiet about it for a bit but they had started something new. " I don't know" he said confused. " really don't have much to work with" Harry replied. " Dumbledore didn't tell me anything that you two don't already know. All I know is that we need to start somewhere."
When Harry looked to Hermione it was clear that he expected her to have the answer. It hurt a little. Ron was not useless. He could plan too. But it did not seem that Harry felt that way. "Do you have any idea's Hermione?"Harry asked Hermione just proving Ron's thoughts. Ron stood now and placed his dishes with the others. He had a slightly hurt look on his face and there were blotches of red on his cheeks. "Well then," He said turning to face the others. "Why you two just plan everything and I'll get out of your way, yes?" He asked in a snappy tone before leaving them in the kitchen and heading up to his room alone.

"Why you two just plan everything and I'll get out of your way, yes?" He asked in a snappy tone before leaving them in the kitchen and heading up to his room alone.
Hermione watched sadly as Ron headed up the stairs. As much as she loved having the answers, she didn't have all of the answers, and sometimes it really irritated her that everyone looked to her. She hated the pressure it put on her. She looked at Harry with some irritation.
"You know Harry, I don't have all the answers all the time. All I can do is make suggestions, and," she hated to admit it, "not all of them are perfect. Nobody is perfect." She muttered. It was weird for her to say, but she hated when Ron felt this way. And in her irritation she turned on her heal and followed Ron upstairs, leaving Ron in the kitchen.
Hermione looked at Ron's door. She took a deep breath and knocked. She opened it and slipped inside. She didn't know what to say, and so said the first thing that came to mind. A very dumb question.
"Hey Ron, are you all right?"

Harry could never stand confrontation, expecially between the only family he has...his friends. He watched as Ron stormed out of the room and headed upstairs to his room, but he did not want him to leave by all means. Ron was his best friend and the last thing he ever wanted to do was to piss him off, and he needed his help very much.
Harry stood there and shouted imediatly at Ron, "Ron...don't leave" he shouted , then he heard a loud slam as his bedroom door closed shut. He looked right at Haromine and seen the sadness all over her face, "I didn't meen to upset him Haromine" he said to her as he noticed she was looking quite irratated at him.
You know Harry, I don't have all the answers all the time. All I can do is make suggestions, and, not all of them are perfect. Nobody is perfect", she said to him in quite a tone. Harry was quite upset as he never meant any harm, but it was quite a stressfull time and he had to no matter what het his priority's straight.
He watched as Haromine quickly turned herself to go upstairs after Ron, and he watched her walk up the stairs before he could even respond to her statement. Harry didn't know if he should go to Ron't room and appologize or if he should give him his space. All he knew is that he was running out of time and they all needed to smarten up and act fast, as time was getting shorter by the minuite.
He waited about three minuites before he decided he would go upstairs and talk to Ron. He went up the stairs and went to his bedroom door. He didn't go in right away because he could hear them talking. He put his ear up to the door just to make sure he wasn't interupting anything, and he listened for a bit but couldn't make anything out.
"Knock..Knock" Harry banged on the door. "Ron..can I come in for a moment?" he said to him behind the large wooden door. There was no reply from either Ron or Haromine but he had noticed that the talking had stopped. "Please Ron, I'm sorry If I upset you...can I please come in?" he asked again to the two as he awaited their reply.

Ron heard Harry call out to him as he had started up the stairs but he did not reply or turn back. Now in his room, Ron went to the windows on the far side and rested his hands against the window sill. He looked out side with a angry expression on his face.
Why was he even bothering to go with them? They could handle this on their own. Obviously they felt the same way? Ron felt utterly useless. He had no purpose. Harry was the one who lived...Hermione the smart one...Ron was...what? The fall back guy? The scapegoat? What was he? He growled now and then leaned his head forward resting his forehead on the glass.
He did not respond to the knock on the door or to the sound of the door opening. It wasn't until she spoke that he took a deep breath and then turned towards Hermione. "Hey Ron, are you all right?" She asked. The room was dark and he could only just barely make her out. Ron shrugged. "Are you done setting up everything, then?" He asked in a low voice now.
After the kiss they had shared, it had been all that he thought about now. This was no different. Even though he was angry, Ron still wanted to hold her. He forced himself to look away and down at the ground.
It was a little while later that there was another knock at the door and again Ron said nothing. He assumed it was someone telling him to keep it down. "Ron..can I come in for a moment?" Harry's voice came instead and Ron looked at the door silently. His anger rose again. "Please Ron, I'm sorry If I upset you...can I please come in?" Harry continued. Ron sighed. "Let him in 'Mione?" Ron asked.

"Are you done setting up everything, then?" Ron asked in a low voice now. Hermione winced and willed herself not to cry. She wiped at her eyes to ensure that no tears fell, and she looked away. A good part of her wanted to get mad. Everything always seemed to be her fault. If something went wrong. Why? Because Hermione bloody well should have planned everything out perfectly. Well that changed today. If everyone wanted something done, then by Merlin they better get planning, because Hermione refused to do everything when it came to the planning.
"I'm not setting a damn thing up," she said boldly, raising her eyes to meet his, "how Harry asking me a question got turned into me planning everything, I don't really know. But it stops now!" She wanted to pace, to throw her hands up in frustration. So storm out of the house...to walk over to the bed and hug Ron, to hold him, to whisper soothing words, to ask him if they would all survive. But she could do none of that, and so Hermione tugged at her hair in frustration.
Hermione turned to the door as Harry spoke. He was apologizing and asking for entrance. She turned back around to Ron expectantly. He sighed and asked her if he should be let in. Hermione shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know Ronald. This isn't my room, and he's talking to you." Despite her words, she did open the door to let Harry in. She then crossed the room and sat on the floor below the window. She was exhausted, confused, tired and angry all at once. She was a load of emotions, and she was ready to just relax. To ignore what was happening for a day, Hell, an hour and she would be happy. But Hermione was never that lucky.
