Aphrodite woke up early that morning, in order to get ready to leave for home today. The students at Hogwarts had never gotten a spring break before, but with all that was going on this year, they felt it would be a pleasant surprise for them. Aphrodite had already packed her trunk full with everything she would take back to her house, and now it was loaded on the train. She walked through the hallways of the train, looking for an empty compartment, she didn't want to sit with anyone and listen to them gossip about the up and coming war, Potter, or other students in general. Before she changed she would have not only joined in on those conversation but started them. Now she just wanted peace and quite. She had no clue where Draco was, hell she didn't even know if he was on the train. Lately she'd felt they'd been drifting apart and that was something she wasn't going to allow, her brother was her best friend and she wasn't going to lose him, she figured they could do something together when they arrived at the manor.
Aphrodite finally found an empty compartment, and opened the door walking in, her black cat with Slytherin green eyes, Midnight walked in behind her. She shut the door and stored her carry on bag on the rack above the seats, while Midnight jumped on the seat across from her before curling up and falling asleep. Aphrodite sat down and stared out the window, she was dressed in a simple white tank top, gray skinny jeans, and black heels. Her long blonde hair fell in waves to her mid back, as her gray eyes were lined with thick black eyeliner, and black eyeshadow rested on her lids, as her lips were a pinkish nude color. Her fingernails were painted black, and the only thing that gave away the fact she was in the house of the serpent was a sliver Slytherin pendent that hung from her neck. Of coruse just by looking at her, and looking at her hair people would know she was a Malfoy, and would know she was in Slytherin.

Vince hated the fact that he was not permitted to stay at the school during breaks. The last thing he wanted to do was spend any time with his father. The man was a jack wad and Vince could not stand the constant complaining and lectures. The only reason he went home at all was to keep Venice happy. But this time he was not going to bother. He was going to London yes but Vince planned on staying at The Leaky Cauldron.
So he had boarded the Express along with his sister and then waved as she went off with her friends. Vince began heading down the aisle as the train started off. It started slow and then began moving faster. Vince was looking for a carriage that was empty or at least not crowded with cheery and energetic, bubbly fools. Vince was sick of the noise.
Finally he came to a car that only had one girl inside. She would do. She did not seem to be the chatty type. Vince did not speak to her as he opened the door and then stepped in and shut it behind him. He put his bag up in the compartment then Vince glanced at the blond once more before sitting in the fist seat from the door on the same side as the cat. He brushed dark hair from his eyes.

Aphrodite was just staring out the window, wrapped up in her own thoughts, lost in her own world. The world outside the window seemed to move at an almost snail pace to her, as she heard the door open her head turned swiftly, some of her bleach blonde waves falling in her face as she watched the tall dark haired male enter, and put his bags up. He looked to be taller then her, which was rare for her as not many people girl or guy was taller then her. She was a little shorter then Draco, taller then her mother, and shorter then her father. But her height showed much like this guys did, her legs looked like they were miles long, and she had arms to match. She looked at him as he sat down, and brushed hair out of his face. He was gorgeous, she would admit that. His looks were dark and slightly mysterious he reminded her of her former vampire lover, Crispin. She shook her head, she felt bad for her last encounter with him, he had someone, she shouldn't have even went to his house that night.
As Midnight felt the seat move, she raised her head. Around the cats neck was a Slytherin green collar with a sliver Slytherin pendent hanging off it, which matched Aphrodite's. The only difference was that on the back of the cats, her name was engraved with elegant writing. Midnight took one look at the man, and hissed and growled before jumping across the compartment as she landed beside Aphrodite, and curled up again, glaring at the male. "Bad cat!" She scolded her companion, Aphrodite looked up at the male, "Sorry about her, she doesn't really like new people." She apologized, before turning her gaze back out window, watching as the buildings of Hogsmeade began to fade and were replaced by trees, and lakes.

Vince felt her eyes on him but did not look over at her. Instead he stared out the glass portion of the door and out into the corridor watching people pass by. She was pretty of course. Vince had seen that already. She was beyond his league however. Vincent was sure of that. Not to mention the fact that he had seen the slytherin pendent around her neck. Slytherin's... his experience with the green and silver house had not been favorable.
Vince sighed and reached into his pocket. He was about to pull out a rather worn pocket book when the cat suddenly hissed. Vince jumped slightly at the sound in the otherwise silent room. His head snapped around as the cat leapt from one seat to the other. He took a second to watch the cat and then went back to the book.
He heard the female speak to the cat and ignored her until the girl spoke again this time to him. "Sorry about her, she doesn't really like new people." She said and Vince now looked at her slowly. He grunted in reply. She was not looking at him anyways. Vince was thinking about finding another carriage. Give them both some peace but he did not feel like being rude. He simply opened the book, took one more look at the girl and then the cat then went back to his book again.

The cat sat glaring at the male across from herself and her owner, another menacing growl escaped her, Aphrodite lightly hit the cat to make her quit. That worked and for a few minutes it was quite in the compartment, the only sound that could be heard was that of the train, and the beating of hearts. Seemingly out of no where Midnight growled again, this time Aphrodite stood and scooped the cat up. She walked over to the door, opened it and placed the cat out in the hallway. "Go find Draco or something." She said before closing the door. She knew very well her car always had to be with herself, and when she couldn't be with Aphrodite she was with Draco. Aphrodite turned on her heels and took the two steps back to her seat, this time she sat side ways and stretched long legs out in the seat, the heels appeared to make her legs look even longer.
She stared blankly at the wall for a while, until her gaze turned back to the male that sat across from her. "What are you reading?" She asked, her voice soft. After a few moments, she spoke again "Sorry, forgot my manners. I'm Aphrodite.....Malfoy." She added her last name with some hesitation, normally she didn't give her last name to people because then they judged her based on her family and not herself, but she figured this guy would learn it anyway if they were going to be sharing this compartment all the way to the station.

When the cat growled at him a second time, Vince was ready to give the damn animal a reason to be against him. His hand tensed on the book and then the girl stood with a cat in her arms. Vince sighed as she passed and looked back at his book. Or so it seemed. His eyes did come up again to take in her rear as she passed in front of him but the glance was hidden.
"Go find Draco or something." He heard the female tell the cat and Vince frowned slightly. Draco.. he knew that name. Pompous white blond ferret like boy that took pleasure in tormenting younger students and abusing Head Boy privileges. When she sat again, Vince once more took at glance at her. Though this time is was along the length of her long curvy legs.
He had gone back to his book and had read about three paragraphs when her voice distracted him again. "What are you reading?" She had asked him and now Vince met her eyes. "Sorry, forgot my manners. I'm Aphrodite.....Malfoy." Vince blinked and at first it did not seem as if he were going to answer. "A book, Miss Malfoy." He told her finally told her in a soft voice.
Okay so yes that was rude and he did not really mean for it to sound the way it most likely came out. But ti was not like it mattered. She was only talking to him because she was in here with him. Vince had no doubt that she was as cold and mean as her brother and father. Beautiful but more likely than not, a bitch.

The seconds ticked by and it seemed that the male wasn't going to answer her. But after what felt like forever he did answer, and while his voice was soft, his answer was really rude. Despite that fact Aphrodite shook her head and chuckled lightly. "I'd guessed as much...And please, call me Aphrodite." She said and settled back into her seat. Maybe his reply was rude because he didn't wish to speak to her. She supposed that is what she got for trying to be friendly to someone, but then again maybe his reply was rude because he didn't wish to speak to her. If that was the case she couldn't say that she blamed him, she use to be quite the bitch, and still was to certain people, but she had reasons to be bitchy to those people. This male despite being rude just then had done nothing to her, therefore she really couldn't be a bitch to him....Well she could, but then she'd feel bad about it.
That was new, Aphrodite Malfoy feeling bad about mistreating others. She pushed some of her hair that had fallen into her face, as she stared at the wall. She wasn't going to try and start conversations anymore, if this guy wanted to talk then he could start it. She crossed her out stretched legs at her ankles, the train rattled on, and Aphrodite sat in silence. The thought of leaving and going to find someone else to sit with crossed her mind, preferably someone who liked her and would talk to her. She didn't even move an inch, something was telling her to stay here with this guy whose name she didn't even know. She didn't know why but she decided to listen to that feeling and stayed put.

"I'd guessed as much...And please, call me Aphrodite." She told him and Vince smirked at her reply. He tried to go back to her book. Now it was too silent. Vince kept looking at her out of the corner of his eye. No matter what he assumed her attitude was like, she was still pretty and of course, he liked looking at pretty things. Outside the door, the trolly was coming.
Vince placed the open pages down open on the seat beside him and then reached into his pocket. Vince pulled out a handful of coins. He stood and then slid open the door. Hesitating for a moment, Vince looked back at the blond. He really didn't know why he was bothering. She would probably be quick to say no...
"Did you want anything?" He asked now. It was an offer and an attempt to show that he could be civil. Vince left the open open as he stepped out into the corridor. The door was open so that she could either come on out to the cart and pick what she wanted or he could hear her if she bothered to respond.
The cart of course was loaded with food and none of it was healthy. He looked over chocolate frogs, blood pops, licorice wands, cakes, and pastries picking this and that until he was satisfied. Soon he was back in his seat, the book forgotten and snacks on his lap.
He glanced at the window. They were in the country now. Vince could see fields and the occasional house or farm animal. "I'm Vince." He told her now in the same tone of voice before biting into a frog.
