Grace bounded through the street, not unlike a rabbit or a deer in her display as she hopped from stone to stone on the elevated flower bed walls.
"This is gunna be so much fun, Bay!" she chirped, leaping down to take clasp her hand briefly before continuing her conquering of the cement blocks. "I haven't been out in forever." Her near-manic grin hadn't showed any signs of leaving the whole way there, and it most definitely wasn't going to now. A particularly pretty purple flower caught her eye, and with a quick glance around to make sure no one but her friend was looking, she swooped down to pick it.
Landing beside Bay, she showed her new treasure. "I love purple," she whispered to her, as if revealing an all-important secret rather than her favourite colour. She skipped along backwards, reaching out to tuck the flower behind Bay's ear with a smile. "There. The colour goes nice with your hair," she told her, smiling again before leaping off to another flowerbed.

bay was spending the day with her friend Grace while Darcy was at work. Grace had wanted to take her out to do somethings and, well, Bay was still pretty confused on exactly where they were going.
She grinned as Grace began to skip around, and placed a purple flower in Bay's hair.
"There. The colour goes nice with your hair."
Bay laughed at her energy. "Grace, where are we going?! I am so confused right now." She shook her head at Grace.

Grace paused as she perched on a handrail post, precarious on one foot but still strangely balanced. "I...wait. Hold on. I knew just a second ago..." She frowned, leaping down to stand beside Bay.
She stared out at nothing in particular, pursing her lips. She hated when she zoned out like this. Where was she? Not in Hogsmeade anymore, but..London. She was in London.
Vigour returning to her face and she smiled again, she took Bay's hand and leapt around. "We're going to a fancy restaurant. I know the owner, and he reserved us seats!" Releasing her and continuing her bounding around, she giggled. "It's about time we got out and about. Jeez, it's so boring in Hogsmeade sometimes."

Bay watched as grace took on a look of confusion.
"I...wait. Hold on. I knew just a second ago..." Grace frowned, leaping down to stand beside Bay.
Bay chuckled at Grace's loss of focus. Grace was so unpredictable, there was no telling what she had planned. She smiled at her friend.
"Oh goodness, Grace. You worry me some days." Bay smiled and shook her head.
Vigor returning to Grace's face and she smiled again, she took Bay's hand and leapt around. "We're going to a fancy restaurant. I know the owner, and he reserved us seats!" Releasing her and continuing her bounding around, she giggled. "It's about time we got out and about. Jeez, it's so boring in Hogsmeade sometimes."
Bay smiled fiercely, glad she had someone like Grace around to cheer her up. She bounced on the balls of her feet. "Well, where is it?" She asked excitedly, suddenly very glad she had let Grace pull her out of her flat for the day.

Grace turned to beam at Bay, her smile so large it threatened to consume the rest of her face. "I worry a lot of people," she told her friend. "Especially Seff. Goodness, I don't know why he still puts up with me."
Rocking on her heels, she looked around, taking in their surroundings and where exactly they were for probably the first time. She'd completely forgotten that they were going somewhere. After taking a mental bearing, noticing the small little Café on the corner and the direction of the London Bridge, she leapt back down onto solid ground and started in a different direction, running a bit before leaping into the air to land with both feet on a temptingly crunchy leaf. Satisfied, she turned back to Bay, a victorious expression on her face. "This way," she told her, pointing down the street. "His name's Rufus, and he's the best cook I know!"
She set back down the street, twirling around to grin at Bay as she waited for her. "Hurry up, you slow poke!" she laughed, light-hearted.

Bay laughed loudly and boisterously. "Seff puts up with you because he loves you." She shook her head in amusement. Bay had only met Seff a few times, which surprised her considering they were both really close to Grace.
She looked down the street to where her friend pointed. Bay turned to smile at her friend, letting her eyebrows dance atop her face. "Rufus eh? Best cook you know?" She winked and elbowed her friend teasingly in the side.
When Grace told her friend to hurry, Bay grinned wildly, and then bolted ahead of Grace, laughing loudly.
"Let's go, my friend! Wouldn't want to be late." She spread her arms out and let the breeze slip around her face. She opened her mouth to breathe in the fresh air. She felt free.
It was short lived. A fly, or something of the sort, went right to her throat. Bay stopped suddenly, coughing with her hands on her knee's. She coughed violently and began spitting.
"Are you joking me?" She spit again. "If you laugh, I will be forced to kill you." Bay laughed herself and shook her head. She stood up straight, breathed in, but the air caught in her throat. She coughed again, holding onto Grace for support. Finally whatever it was, was dislodged from her throat. With a final cough, she could breath easily.
Bay tried standing straight again, looking dignified and as if nothing had ever happened. She looked to her friend and raised her eyebrow.
"This never happened." She said seriously, only the tips of her mouth tilting upwards slightly. "never."

Grace rolled her eyes. "Lucky for me," she said with a grin. "He broke this guy's nose the other day because he'd been making rude noises and obscene gestures at me when I'd walk by the bar." She laughed, leaping on another leaf, and then turned back to Bay. "It was great! I don't think that guy will be bothering anyone again anytime soon."
She let out a yelp when Bay elbowed her in the side, and stuck her tongue out at her in response. "Yeah! He's gunna start teaching me, so maybe one day I can be one too." She paused in her thought, her brow furrowing. "Though I don't know if it would work if I didn't get formal training. Maybe a bakery or something?" She waved it off. "Oh well. I'm okay with working at Tomes and Scrolls for now." A grin lighting up her face, Grace giggled. "Besides, someone needs to keep Seff company in that lonely flat. As much as he likes to pass himself off as being strong and independent and stuff, the guy's nothing but a big softy." She leaned in close to Bay and dropped her voice to a whisper. "Just don't tell him I told you that, though."
As her friend choked on whatever had become lodged in her throat, Grace was caught between reaching out to help her friend and clamping her hand on her mouth to keep herself from laughing. In the end she did both, patting Bay on the back and holding her other hand to her mouth to keep her laughs from escaping. She held on to Bay's shoulder with her hand after she was sure she could restrain her laughter, but lost it and barked out a single laugh before clamping her mouth shut and stifling a smile when her friend suddenly regained her cool in a very indiscreet manner.
Raising her hands in the air and feeling her body shake once with a barely contained laugh, Grace did her best to smile without losing it. "Never."
