Ophelia sat in the train department with her arm around her brothers shoulders. She pulled him tightly against her.
"So you managed this how?" She asked her, resting his head sideways against her. He was referring to how Ophelia had managed to convince their Death Eater brother Finley to let them go to Rhye's house for the summer.
"I told you, he doesn't know we are going to Rhye's. I told him we were going to stay with Delphi. I said that we had become close and that she was Pure Blood and her father held the Old Views." She tried to explain again.
"And that just automatically convinced him?" He raised an eyebrow skeptically event though she couldn't see it. Ophelia sighed. She hadn't wanted to go into details.
"I told him that I had been thinking back to when we were little, and that I missed all that. I said I was confused and I needed some space and time, but that I missed him very much." She frowned at the content of her lie. "I told him about Delphi and that I would greatly appreciate spending the summer with her and her father. That maybe they would help me understand what I am failing to see." He seemed to buy it. Allowing me to go, and even sending me money. She shrugged, although her actions didn't match her feelings.
"Are you sure you aren't really a Slytherin disguised as a Hufflepuff." He laughed at his sister and yawned. "This should be fun." He muttered, snuggling into her side once he was sure there compartment wouldn't be disturbed.
"Go to sleep." Ophelia patted her baby brother's head. "We have a ways to go until we can get a full night's rest." She laid her head sideways and down onto his while she hummed to her brother the song that her and Rhye always hummed. Soon, they were both asleep.

"Ophelia! Where are we going?" Duncan tugged on his sister's hand as they walked out onto the Platform.
"Duncan, calm down." She instructed, looking over little children's head in search of Rhye. He would be getting off the bus soon. He was a Ravenclaw Prefect and so had to do rounds and couldn't sit with them the whole way.
Duncan whined. "I'm tired Faye!" He complained, using her middle name. Ophelia rolled her eyes.
"Duncan, act your age." She set her cat's carry cart on top of their luggage that was on a trolley of sorts. Duncan mumbled something in reply and folded his arms over across his shoulders.
Finally, after what seemed like forever, Ophelia spotted Rhye. With a spell on their cart to follow, she ran and met Rhye half way, throwing her arms around his neck. She was so beyond happy that they were getting to do this! She met his lips with hers and after a few moments she smiled against his mouth and then buried her face in his neck.
"I am so happy right now!" She mumbled.
"Can you two be happy once you are alone." Duncan interrupted dramatically. Ophelia laughed and pulled away.
"Where to? We are still in France. Another train ride to the town we leave England from?" Duncan verbally whined his dislike at the idea, but Ophelia rolled her eyes again at the theatrics. "Or are we driving?"

Taking names and verification, Rhye boarded up the last of the Hogwarts students and tugged on his sleeves, pulling them straighter. The school year was over. It was incredible and too much to believe that he would be a seventh year next time it came around, and he would be leaving this place soon. He shook the thought from his head and turned around to secure the door on his particular car. Everything looked neat and orderly, so he walked down the aisle alone, peeking into the windows that weren't drawn closed to make sure nothing was happening that concerned him. In the midst of his travels, the Honeydukes Express cart came bolting through his way, almost mowing him over. He laughed hard and kept himself upright. "She has no brakes, apparently." He joked to himself and slipped into an empty room, plopping down for a small rest on the seat. He would be needed later, but that could wait. He would power-nap until then.
Rhye's mind drifted to Ophelia and Duncan who were coming with him home for a week or so, and he drifted off into sleep. They would love his vineyard. He just knew it. This was the moment he had been waiting for, for a long time. He was with the woman of his dreams, at his place, his parents were gone, and he was going to make her his, officially. Butterflies took flight into the pit of his belly mid-sleep and kind of startled him to a wake. Once he came to, he was needed to do his rounds again. Rhye pulled his stow-away candy from his pocket, dangled the chocolate frog over his mouth, and plopped it in. He groaned with happiness, his mouth watering. He was hungry. Maybe after they got to Avignon, he would take them out to eat that evening at L'Épice and Love. That was his favorite little place to eat when he was little.
The Ravenclaw hoped Ophelia and Duncan were okay. His head was jumbled with thoughts of them and thoughts of Finley. Hopefully all was going to go well. He had something huge planned, and he didn't even think she knew about it. That made it all the better.
~()~()~()~
Rhye was overlooking the heads of students as he weaved his way down the platform, only caring if he saw the little dude or his lovely lady. He hadn't seen them yet, but he did spot Delphi.
"Emma!" He hollered, smiling. He wrapped her up in a huge hug and twirled around with her in the air. "I hope you have a good Summer. Thanks for everything." He winked, smiling. Delphi had helped them get past Finley with no troubles. After a small nod, he noticed Caesar creep up. He looked away. A Ravenclaw and a stereotypical Slytherin- Hogwarts made miracles happen, apparently. Rhye didn't understand how they had anything in common, but they sure were working rather fine.
Once he parted with one of his best friends, he did the same with Charles, not neglecting to whisper something about him and Benedict, but not too much to embarrass his friend. He laughed and the two hugged, leaving for home or wherever they were headed. Rhye left Charles and Delphi behind in the distance, and once he turned around to the oncoming crowds, his earring and chest lit up. His chest grew warmer and warmer by the second, like his ear lobes. She was thinking about him. He grabbed his necklace and kissed it gently, looking up.
Finally, after what seemed like ages, Rhye made eye contact with those deep blue irises. Ophelia. He grinned wide, noticing their charmed luggage cart following fast. He parted a crowd and bolted to her, wrapping himself around her waist and heaving her up into a twirling hug much like Delphi but much tighter and with a force of a thousand tons of love behind it. He loved this girl.
"I am so happy right now!" She mumbled.
Rhye kissed at her lips hungrily as she did, smiling against her so warmly, it might have burned her if not careful. Rhye took in her long-missed scent and breathed a sigh of relief. He had missed her so much. "I'm so happy, and nervous, and I can't even describe it." He chuckled, noticing Duncan stepping up beside the pair, annoyed with their affections.
"Can you two be happy once you are alone." Duncan interrupted dramatically.
Setting Ophelia down, he ruffled Duncan's hair.
"I'll spare the kisses." He said simply, leaning down to hug Duncan too. "I'm glad you're coming. I have a feeling you'll like the place." He looked up to Ophelia with his lip bitten and straightened back up.
"Where to? We are still in England. Another train ride to the town we leave England from?" Duncan verbally whined his dislike at the idea, but Ophelia rolled her eyes again at the theatrics. "Or are we driving?"
The boy couldn't help but laugh hard, grinning at Duncan. "No, no. We're taking a boat." He smiled at Ophelia, taking her hand in his happily. "Its a boat that ships wine, but since we're coming home, my parents arranged for them to pick us up here." He nodded, watching their reactions. "We'll leave from Portsmouth and land in Le Havre, in France." He nodded. "From there, I'll be driving to Avignon." He chuckled. "It'll be a couple hours drive, but we can make stops and rest. I have the hotel and meals already set. It'll be fun. I promise." He looked to Duncan, who would be the least enthusiastic about sitting in a car forever.
"So, shall we go?" He motioned, a grin on his face. The trio would be off to the port in no time. Hopefully the boat ride wouldn't be too long. It should only take about four to five hours if the weather was clear. Once they got on the boat, they could rest and eat. Rhye would need sleep from conducting passengers from Hogwarts to the station. He was so wore out.

"I'm so happy, and nervous, and I can't even describe it."
Ophelia couldn't help but laugh. "Nervous? Why? It's you're home! I'm the one that's nervous. But I can't wait." She touched her lips to his modestly. Setting Ophelia down, he ruffled Duncan's hair.
"I'll spare the kisses." Rhye said simply, leaning down to hug Duncan, who to Ophelia's surprise, returned the hug enthusiastically and...almost like he had been wanting one? Ophelia wondered if Duncan was happier about her and Rhye being together then he let on. After all, the only steady male figure he had had in his life was Finley, and well, it was no secret how that ended. Ophelia assumed that Duncan was looking for that stable male, father, figure in Rhye. After all, Ophelia had practically raised Duncan.
"I'm glad you're coming. I have a feeling you'll like the place."
Duncan shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, but Ophelia could see his eyes light up at Rhye's words. He was obviously looking for care and approval. She walked over to him and pulled him into a side hug.
Rhye looked up to Ophelia with his lip bitten and straightened back up.
"No, no. We're taking a boat." Rhye smiled at Ophelia, taking her hand in his happily, but she sidestepped his hand and wrapped her left arm around his waist, her other one still holding Duncan in a hug. Ophelia rested her head on Rhye's shoulder, and they began to walk. Ophelia felt like a family. A new and improved one.
"Its a boat that ships wine, but since we're coming home, my parents arranged for them to pick us up here."
Ophelia opened her mouth to speak but Duncan cut her off. "Really?" He said in excitement. "That is so amazing! How big is it? I've never been on a boat before!" Ophelia could practically feel the excitement radiating off of him. She shook her head.
"It'll be a couple hours drive, but we can make stops and rest. I have the hotel and meals already set. It'll be fun. I promise." Rhye looked to Duncan, who would be the least enthusiastic about sitting in a car forever.
"Just give me sleeping medication and I'll be fine." He mumbled seriously.
"Don't worry buddy, we will." Ophelia looked up at Rhye. "He gets carsick really easily!" She explained.
"So, shall we go?"
Ophelia nodded and the three of them loaded their now uncharted luggage onto a Muggle bus. Ophelia and Duncan stood together near the back of the bus while Rhye handled things, as the other two, though merely Half Bloods, didn't have much experience with bus systems.
The bus was surprisingly crowded and so the three didn't speak hardly at all. Once they got to the port though, and got unpacked, Ophelia turned to Rhye with a smile. "Where to now my dear?" She smiled.

Rhye looked down at Duncan and laughed, a huge grin on his face. "I can't believe you've never been on one." He joked, playing with the boy. "But, yes! We are getting on a boat. And it's huge! It has a lot of rooms, and a pool. And, there are people on board who will cook you food!" Rhye exclaimed dramatically, mocking the young kid's excitement within his own voice. It was a cross between a cruise ship and a regular merchant ship. It shipped wine, but it also held passengers going from place to place. They sponsored a company with their fine wines, so Rhye got free trips.
"Just give me sleeping medication and I'll be fine." He mumbled seriously. "Don't worry buddy, we will." Ophelia looked up at Rhye. "He gets carsick really easily!" She explained.
Rhye took that into consideration. "I'm sorry buddy. When you go to sleep, you'll wake up at the house. Promise. It's about a nights drive, but we'll cut it shorter." He smiled down to his new friend and then looked back up, making their way to the bus.
-----Da da da, off the bus, at the port.-----
Ophelia and Duncan stood together near the back of the bus while Rhye handled things, as the other two, though merely Half Bloods, didn't have much experience with bus systems. She smiled.
Rhye escorted them onto the boat while someone took their bags and took Rhye's name and room. He had one of the better rooms, being the son of the guy who produces such great wines for them. He lead them to their room, watching Duncan's reaction the whole time. "You like it?" He grinned down to him, his vision drifting from the boy to the room card slot as he opened it up.
The room was wide, bigger than a hotel room, and nicer. The T.V. in the corner was broadcasting the forecast for France over the next few days, and the weather for England currently. "Seems like it will be nice." He said softly, smiling to Ophelia. "Now," he started, pulling Ophelia to the bed and sitting her down, "sleep a little bit. I am sure you are just as tired as I am. The train ride from Hogwarts and the trip here through the bus was long and stressful." Rhye plopped down on his face beside her and mumbled into the sheets something inaudible.
The trio should get some sleep- the car ride was going to be worse for all of them.

Ophelia watched in amusement as Duncan tripped getting onto the boat. Not that it phased him. The eleven year old hoped up without notice and continued walking. His eyes growing wider and wider like a dramatic lemur. The poor child opened and shut his mouth numerous times.
"Oh Merlin. I want one." He turned toward his older sister with wide eyes.
Ophelia laughed. "When Finley dies and I get the family money, then I will buy you a Muggle cruise ship all for yourself." She chuckled as someone took their bags ahead of them.
"Oh hey! Be careful with me baby!" She pointed ahead to the guy who was carrying Snow's cage. She was not going to be happy until they got home. Home. She loved calling it that already!
They made their way through the boat, and Ophelia laughed at Duncan's contestant, "Oh look at that! Wait! Is the boat moving now? How many people are here? Can I go swimming? Oh please Ophelia, please!!!"
"Duncan!" Ophelia laughed but spoke loudly. "Calm yourself sweets! You don't have a suit." She laughed again. The boy pouted as they came to a large hallway with doors lining the side. Duncan took off like a bullet.
"This is so awesome!!" He yelled as he flew down the corridor. "I never want to leave!" Ophelia tried to rush forward out of Rhye's grasp.
"He's going to hurt himself or someone else." She fidgeted. Once the tow of them got to their door, Duncan came running back around a corner and to them. Completely out of breath.
"Rhye, you must have had the coolest childhood of anyone else I know!" He was bent over, hands on knee's and breathing heavily. "You like it?" Rhye grinned down to him, his vision drifting from the boy to the room card slot as he opened it up.
"Do I honestly need to answer that?" Duncan said with a large grin and wide eyes drowning in admiration.
The room was wide, bigger than a hotel room, and nicer. The T.V. in the corner was broadcasting the forecast for France over the next few days, and the weather for England currently.
"Seems like it will be nice." Rhye said softly, smiling to Ophelia.
"It's always nice where you are, Love." Smiling, she wrapped her arms around a very sleepy looking Rhye and her lips met his.
"I do believe I've already expressed my discomfort with this." Duncan grimaced, but crossed his arms and tapped his foot. Ophelia looked back over her shoulder with a malicious smirk.
"You said when we were alone. So let us alone."
Duncan's face took on one of horror. "You wouldn't." Ophelia pushed her lips against Rhye's, just to annoy Duncan. Now that she was away from Hogwarts and her brother's influence, she could really be her carefree self and her and Duncan could really relax.
"Oh my gosh Ophelia! Stop it!" He looked away and theatrically acted like throwing up. "I'm going exploring!" He dropped his wand by his sisters and bounded out of the room before he could witness him becoming an uncle. He smirked at his own thoughts and imagined Ophelia's reaction of he would have said it out loud to her.
"Now," Rhye started, pulling Ophelia to the bed, "sleep a little bit. I am sure you are just as tired as I am. The train ride from Hogwarts and the trip here through the bus was long and stressful." Rhye plopped down on his face beside her and mumbled into the sheets something inaudible.
Ophelia looked down at his tired form and yawned. She was sleepy herself.
"Rhye!" She whined. "You can't sleep on top of the covers!" She pulled the blankets back and made him get under. Then she wiggled herself almost completely under him. To the point that his chest lay over her and his arms wrapped tightly around her. "I love you." She muttered before falling asleep.
~()~()~()~()~
About thirty or so minutes before they were scheduled to make port, Duncan walked into the room soaking wet, clothes on, from head to toe.
"I hate this place." He growled under his breath and started stripping down to his underwear.

Rhye couldn't help but double over laughing at the brother-sister duo. "Duncan, the ship is yours. Go exploring. But don't fall overboard." Rhye teased lightly, watching Duncan bust out of the room away from the kissing and love show.
"Rhye!" She whined. "You can't sleep on top of the covers!" She pulled the blankets back and made him get under. Then she wiggled herself almost completely under him. To the point that his chest lay over her and his arms wrapped tightly around her. "I love you." She muttered before falling asleep.
Rhye groaned something into the covers that one couldn't make out, and he crawled up to get under the covers. He wrapped himself around his teddy-bear and sighed. "I could sleep on top of the covers, but someone wouldn't let me." He mumbled into her hair sleepily. "But its okay- I love you too." He grinned, his eyes still closed, and slowly dozed off.
About thirty or so minutes before they were scheduled to make port, Duncan walked into the room soaking wet, clothes on, from head to toe. "I hate this place." He growled under his breath and started stripping down to his underwear.
Rhye's head picked up from Ophelia's hair sleepily, his hand that was around her lifting to wipe at his eyes lazily. "What?" He blinked a few times, and shot up. "What happened there?" He laughed, but a concern was in his eyes. "Did you not take my advice? To not fall overboard?" He sighed, hugging the young boy tightly against him. He was freezing. The waters were cold, despite it being Summer time, and it was probably scary for Duncan.
The boat was in port within the next half hour, the captain announcing first in English that they were docked in Le Havre, then in French. Rhye grinned, his inner French purring almost. "It's so good to hear this language again." He said quietly, grabbing everything they had, being careful with Snow, and loading it onto a cart. Rhye wrapped his arm around Ophelia's waist and walked her and Duncan off the boat and onto the cobblestone port of Le Havre. The Ravenclaw was so excited.
The trio, with most of the help from Rhye, walked to the nearest car place and Rhye game him their info.
"Un voiture pour mes amis et moi, s'il vous plait. Mon nom est Alexendre Rhye. Mes parents ont arrangé pour une voiture d'être ici pour la conduite de retour à Avignon." Rhye explained carefully, a smile on his face.
"Oui, monsieur. J'ai la voiture à l'arrière. Je vais avoir un de notre personnel tirez autour de l'avant. Attendez ici."
Rhye thanked him and turned back to Ophelia. "Pardon." He said in his accent, a huge grin on his face. "Didn't think I was a natural like that, did you?" He winked.
The staff member had pulled their car around quickly. It was a small, old fashioned Traction Avant which had been re-modeled and perfected. It was a shimmering black, almost sparkling under the sun. "Merci beaucoup!" Rhye thanked him with a kiss to the cheek, and the male tipped his hat and left. "Well," Rhye started, a smile on his face, "let's go!"
Rhye packed their luggage into the car, except for Snow of course, and helped Duncan into the back then pulling the door open for Ophelia. "Après vous, manquer." He winked, kissing her hand softly before shutting the door behind her. Rhye hurried around to the drivers seat, buckled himself in, and began his drive. "Enjoy the view. And oh-" he paused, "you might want to give him the sleeping pills first. It gets heavy on the stomach when we go up into the mountains."

"What happened there?" Rhye laughed, but a concern was in his eyes. Ophelia stretched an arm out and felt and empty bed, and then she heard laughing and Rhye's voice. She blinked her eyes open and groaned.
Duncan was looking at Rhye. "I decided to shower with my clothes on." She boy rolled his eyes and pulled on an adult robe from one of the wardrobes.
"Did you not take my advice? To not fall overboard?" Rhye sighed, hugging the young boy tightly against him. Duncan tried to hide a smile and unconsciously leaned into the comforting embrace with closed eyes. He was shaking. He had actually fallen in about forty minutes ago. It had taken twenty minutes to pull him up, and the crew wouldn't let him return without going to the doctor on board. He cursed this place all the way to the room.
"I thought I was going to drown." He confessed into Rhye's chest. Duncan pulled back. He was being stupid. Being weak. He was a Slytherin. Slytherin's couldn't be weak. He turned, grabbed his bag, and entered the bathroom to change.
Ophelia sat quietly on the bed. She wanted to go to her brother, freak out and tell some people off. But she knew that would be rude, and she wouldn't make a scene. Obviously her baby brother was okay now. If she had been with him when it happened, she would be a wreck at the moment.
"He's okay?" She asked Rhye softly, but staring at the door the boy had entered.
The boat was in port within the next half hour, the captain announcing first in English that they were docked in Le Havre, then in French. "It's so good to hear this language again." Ophelia shook her head. "I am so confused. I guess I will have to rely on you more then usual." She grinned and leaned into Rhye's side.
Her head bounced back and forth between the two French speakers. Duncan leaned into his sister.
"What are they saying?" He asked quietly, though it didn't matter. It wasn't like the native French speaker could understand him.
Duncan's sister looked down at him, "Really Duncan? Do you expect me to answer that?"
"But Ophelia, you are supposed to know everything!" He said with a sly smile.
"Oh hush." She smiled.
"Pardon." Rhye said in his accent, a huge grin on his face. "Didn't think I was a natural like that, did you?" He winked.
"I knew you were a natural in some areas." She winked playfully. "But this is just so amazing. You are amazing Rhye Alexendre."
The staff member had pulled their car around quickly. It was a small, old fashioned Traction Avant which had been re-modeled and perfected. It was a shimmering black, almost sparkling under the sun.
"Well," Rhye started, a smile on his face, "let's go!"
Duncan groaned. He wanted to be there sooner, but he wasn't ready for the car ride. He pulled himself into the back seat and crossed his arms. "If I throw up..." He trailed off.
Rhye pulled the door open for Ophelia. "Après vous, manquer." He winked, kissing her hand softly before shutting the door behind her.
"I have no idea what that means." She laughed to herself, shaking her head.
Rhye hurried around to the drivers seat, buckled himself in, and began his drive. "Enjoy the view. And oh-" he paused, "you might want to give him the sleeping pills first. It gets heavy on the stomach when we go up into the mountains."
Duncan greedily took what was offered from Ophelia and within minutes he was passed out. The only thing Ophelia hadn't counted on- her brother's snoring.
"I'm going to kill him." Ophelia said over her brother's snores. "This was supposed to be a nice romantic drive. Even in his sleep he disrupts that." She laughed. They were on top of a mountain, and on the very edge. She would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. She sat back and closed her eyes. "We are stopping somewhere you said?" She asked. This was going to be the perfect summer. The beginning of her new life.

Rhye heard their conversation in the background. "I guess I will be your personal translator on the trip." He grinned, patting Duncan's head lightly. He squeezed Ophelia's side and once they had gotten into the car and Duncan had passed out, Rhye chuckled heartily as she spoke of Duncan ruining their romantic drive.
"I'm going to kill him." Ophelia said over her brother's snores. "This was supposed to be a nice romantic drive. Even in his sleep he disrupts that." She laughed. Ophelia sat back and closed her eyes. "We are stopping somewhere you said?" She asked.
Rhye watched the road ahead of them transform from cities to pastures to forests, then back to small settlements. They passed through many towns, an easy and smooth route up north. "Yes ma'am." He patted her knee with his hand, squeezing it gently. "We are stopping at L'Épice and Love."
Rhye looked over to her and flashed her a smile. "I used to go there all the time. It's a small restaurant in Avignon." He chuckled lightly. "I figured the little man back there would be hungry like we all would be once we get there." He looked at the time on his muggle watch. It was about another two hours of driving. "Think you can manage another two hours of snoring and driving?" He teased. "Go to sleep if you want. All it is, is scenery." He chirped gently, a smile across his lips.

"Oh?" Ophelia smiled. "Sounds romantic!" She said in a sing-song voice.
Rhye looked over to her and flashed her a smile. "I used to go there all the time. It's a small restaurant in Avignon." He chuckled lightly.
"Avignon. Small town?" She asked, surprised she hadn't thought to ask before now.
"I figured the little man back there would be hungry like we all would be once we get there." He looked at the time on his muggle watch. It was about another two hours of driving.
She snorted. "Rhye he's like you. He could eat at any time." "Think you can manage another two hours of snoring and driving?" He teased.
Sighing dramatically, Ophelia said, "Oh I suppose so." She smiled to show she was joking, and she rested her hand on Rhye's, which had taken a spot on her knee.
"Go to sleep if you want. All it is, is scenery." He chirped gently, a smile across his lips.
"Oh but I do want to see it! Besides, I can't let you just drive all lonely like." She yawned and then laughed. Maybe she should sleep. She wanted to be well rested before they arrived. Ophelia wiggled her way down sideways, resting her head on the edge of Rhye's leg. "Wake me when we get close, or if you start getting sleepy. I am so happy you've let me come and spend the summer with you. Word's fail me here." She grinned and closed her eyes.

"Avignon. Small town?" She asked, surprised she hadn't thought to ask before now. She snorted. "Rhye he's like you. He could eat at any time."
Rhye shrugged. "You could call it small. It might not seem like it, but it kind of is. Well, growing up here I'd say so." He flashed her a toothy smile and nodded, squeezing her knee again. "And yes, it sounds really good right now." He groaned, his stomach starting to growl. "And don't worry. I'll translate and order once we get there. The waiters only knows a select few phrases in English." He chuckled. "I remember when tourists used to come in while I was there and get frustrated. I usually ended up ordering for them. And I was only 10!"
Sighing dramatically, Ophelia said, "Oh I suppose so." She smiled to show she was joking, and she rested her hand on Rhye's.

Rhye nodded happily and once they hit a stop light, he leaned down and kissed her temples. "I will be sure to wake you." He chirped quietly into her ear, using one hand to stroke her hair while the other steered like a pro. He inclined back in his seat and got relaxed, humming their tune softly to himself. Within minutes, she was snoring.
Mountains and towns passed, and suddenly, Rhye's eyes took in a small sign with faded lettering. "Avignon." He grinned. "Home." The young man rubbed at Ophelia's shoulder, patting her lightly. He pulled over into a parking lot in town and leaned down, kissing her cheek. "Wakey wakey. We're home." He said quietly.
From the backseat, Rhye could hear a sleepy Duncan begin stirring, sitting up in his seat.

Ophelia yawned and rolled onto her back, her knees pulled tightly to her to her feet rested on the seat. She blinked and opened her eyes, looking straight into Rhye's darker ones. She smiled. "Home? I like the sounds of that." She turned her head lightly into his gut and breathed in the scent she had come to associate and expect with Rhye.
After taking a few breaths, and hearing Duncan finally stir in the backseat, Ophelia covered a yawn and sat forward, bending into herself and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"How long have we been on the road?" She asked sleepily with another yawn.
"Too long." Duncan said quickly, throwing the door open and practically falling to the ground. Ophelia heard retching noises and she grimaced, looking over her shoulder at Rhye.
"I guess he still managed to get carsick." She sighed and slipped out the door, going straight to her brothers side, rubbing his back.
"Why am I always the one to get sick?" He said miserably. "I hate Muggle transportation." He spat out loud enough for a few Muggle's coming out of the closest building to hear and turn their head.
"Duncan!" Ophelia said at the same time as Rhye. "Watch your words!" She warned. Duncan stood up shakily after continuing to dry heave. He took a small step and stumbled. Duncan grabbed onto the first thing he could lay his hands on, which was Rhye.
Ophelia turned her back to the scene and crawled into the backseat to grab her bag that she had let Duncan use for a pillow and dug around in it. She pulled out a bottle of water and some Muggle stomach soothers.
"Take these." She offered her brother the objects and rubbed his back while he clung tightly to Rhye.
Ophelia sent Rhye an apologetic look over her brothers shoulder and mouthed, I'm sorry.
She patted Duncan on the soldier after a minute. "You ready, hun?" She asked him, pulling him closer to her. He nodded.
"I just want to go home." He mumbled pathetically and lay his head on his sister.
"Lead the way Rhye." Ophelia smiled softly to her boyfriend as he led the way.
"Rhye, before I fell asleep, you mentioned this being a small town," she bit her lip, "So most people will probably recognize you, right? Especially if you used to go here all the time." She squeezed her brother closer to her in attempts to comfort herself.
Ophelia was nervous. His parents may not be there, but she still had to make a good impression on Rhye's neighbors and those who know him. She felt just as nervous. Everyone knew everyone in this town. She had a good reason to be apprehensive.

Duncan grabbed onto the first thing he could lay his hands on, which was Rhye. Rhye had gotten his keys from the ignition and put them in his pocket, stepped outside of the car, and just as he was turning around, two small hands clung to his side. He looked down suddenly to see a sickly Duncan clutching at him. Rhye leaned down and hugged him tightly before rubbing his back. Ophelia hugged him to her after she gave him stomach relaxers, and he gave Duncan an apologetic look. "Hey Duncan, you okay?" He said kind of quietly, a frown on his face. "I'm sorry you don't feel good." Still on his knees, Rhye extended a hand to brush Duncan's hair out of his face for a second and smiled, then stood up. "I just want to go home." He mumbled pathetically and lay his head on his sister. "Lead the way Rhye." Ophelia smiled softly to her boyfriend as he led the way. He nodded proudly and leaned in to peck his lips to Ophelia's forehead before locking the doors and shutting his door behind him. Rhye patted his back pocket, making sure that his wallet was there, and he looked down to Duncan. "I hope some food will make your stomach feel better. Down the road, we're going to one of my favorite restaurants and I'm sure you both will enjoy it. It has the best food here, well, besides home-cooked meals. Nothing can beat those." He grinned widely and took Ophelia's free hand, the one not coiled around Duncan, and began leading the three of them down the road. "Rhye, before I fell asleep, you mentioned this being a small town," she bit her lip, "So most people will probably recognize you, right? Especially if you used to go here all the time." She squeezed her brother closer to her in attempts to comfort herself. Rhye tapped his chin slowly. "Well, yes and no. I mean, it is a small town. But not everyone has seen me. They know of me, because my parents, but some have never met me. I went to Hogwarts, so its been years since I've been here. People probably won't recognize me until they see my hair and hear my voice." He grinned over to Ophelia and then looked back in front of them. They were at L'Épice and Love. It was a small, really small restaurant, but it usually wasn't very busy at noon or late in the evenings. (It was around six o'clock.) Rhye pulled open the door and allowed his favorite people through, patting Duncan on the back as he hobbled inside. Poor guy, he must feel so bad.The tender at the counter yelled something about having a new customer, and he rushed his way over to them, seating them, and bringing them cold glasses of ice water to begin with. Rhye knew this guy. Not his name, but he had been here since Rhye was little. He left to go get menus, and Rhye smiled. "It's small, but its home." He said quietly, looking between Duncan and Ophelia who were seated opposite from him. Their waiter hurried back and gave them all menus. He looked to Rhye slowly. "Est-ce qu'ils parlent le français, Rhye?" Rhye shook his head slowly and the waiter frowned, but smiled at Ophelia and Duncan before opening his mouth to speak. "Er- welcome. It is a pleasure to have friends of Rhye here." His accent was thick so it was kind of rusty, but Rhye grinned and patted his old friend on the shoulder a few times. He knew he was trying to make this easy. "Je peux commander pour eux, car ils ne savent pas ce que c'est." Rhye nodded to his old friend and looked back to Ophelia. He opened his menu swiftly, scanning the menu. "Have any questions as to what something is?" He smiled. "The pictures are there, so anything that looks good, I can tell you what exactly it is."The waiter looked between the three of them and then focused on Duncan. "Est-il le vôtre?" Is he yours? Rhye's eyes widened, and he shook his head slowly. The waiter almost blushed and nodded, excusing himself to go take care of another customer so they could have time to decide. He blushed heatedly and looked back to Ophelia, a small smile on his lips. ** media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/01/cf/f8/69/inside.jpg (To give you an idea of what it looks like inside.) **

The three of them entered the small diner and Ophelia gaped while a large grin broke out on Duncan's face.
"This is so cool!" He said happily. Clearly he was feeling better. He looked up at his sister and his future brother-in-law, or so he hoped, and seemed to bounce on the balls of his feet. "I think I'm going to like it here."
Ophelia chuckled and leaned into Rhye, resting her head on him. "Good. Because I don't have any plans on leaving this summer." She heard a yell in French and she pulled Duncan to her. She was unnerved being in a place where she understood no one but Rhye. She trusted him, it was the other's she did not trust. That was just her nature. Someone rushed over to them, and led the three of them to a table. Ophelia pulled her brother down into the seat beside her. The waiter set water in front of them and rushed off. All in about three minutes. Her eyes darted around the room in apprehension. She felt so out of place. But then she looked over into Rhye's eyes, and she calmed down. Ophelia was right where she was supposed to be.
Ophelia reached across the table and held Rhye's hand in hers. Rhye smiled. "It's small, but its home." He said quietly, looking between Duncan and Ophelia who were seated opposite from him.
"I sure hope so!" Duncan said after downing half of his cold water. Ophelia snorted in amusement.
"I'm glad I have your permission." She joked, and with her free hand ruffled his hair. The boy blushed and scoffed, pushing her hand away.
"Would you stop it!" He tried to fix his hair and Ophelia noticed him staring at something across the room, behind Rhye. She followed his visual direction and saw a group of young girls, maybe a year or so older then Duncan, gathered at a group together. They were giggling and one of them waved at Duncan shyly. The Hufflepuff smirked.
"You better hope they speak some English." She pulled his head over to her and kissed the top of it.
"I hate you." He mumbled, trying to escape. "Besides, I plan on learning French." His gaze never left the girls.
Their waiter hurried back and gave them all menus. He looked to Rhye slowly. "Er- welcome. It is a pleasure to have friends of Rhye here." His accent was thick so it was kind of rusty, but Rhye grinned and patted his old friend on the shoulder a few times.
Ophelia bushed. She hated the language barrier. "Bonjour monsieur." She dipped her head.
Rhye opened his menu swiftly, scanning the menu. "Have any questions as to what something is?" He smiled. "The pictures are there, so anything that looks good, I can tell you what exactly it is."
"I want whatever this is." He pointed at a picture, but had no idea what it was.
Ophelia squeezed Rhye's hand. "I'll have whatever you're having. As long as it doesn't have mushrooms or scallops. I'm deathly allergic."
The waiter looked between the three of them. "Est-il le vôtre?"
Ophelia watched, eyebrows furrowed as Rhye's eyes widened, and he shook his head slowly. Her confusion grew when the waiter almost blushed and nodded. He quickly turned to leave. Rhye blushed heatedly and looked back to Ophelia, a small smile on his lips.
"What was that about?" She questioned with narrowed eyes. A small smile playing on her lips.

Ophelia, with her free hand, ruffled Duncan's hair. The boy blushed and scoffed, pushing her hand away.
"Would you stop it!" He tried to fix his hair and Ophelia noticed him staring at something across the room, behind Rhye. The Hufflepuff smirked.
"You better hope they speak some English." She pulled his head over to her and kissed the top of it.
"I hate you." He mumbled, trying to escape. "Besides, I plan on learning French." His gaze never left the girls.
Amused greatly at the siblings before him, Rhye leaned over towards Duncan, shielding Ophelia from his view and mouth, so she couldn't hear his "private conversation" with Duncan. "Duncan." Rhye whispered. "Why are you whispering? They don't speak English."
When Duncan failed to look at Rhye, the Ravenclaw rolled up a paper ball and shoved it into his straw. Blowing with a little force, he smacked Duncan square in the jaw. "Duncan." He whispered again, a smirk on his face. "Duncan." He whispered again, noticing the boy's gaze still hadn't moved. Rhye looked back up to Ophelia and rubbed his temples.
Time for the big guns. Digging into his cold water, Rhye fished out an ice cube and tossed it at Duncan. The girls in the corner were giggling louder, a bright red almost. They found amusement in Duncan's misfortunes, much like Rhye did. Looking over his shoulder, he noticed the girls, then turned back to Duncan. "Vous avez encore pipi au lit, ils sont trop vieux pour vous." With the last word barely leaving his mouth, a wave of laughter erupted from the corner of young girls, and even the host/their waiter behind the counter. "But if you act nicely, I will teach you French here soon, after dinner, and you can go impress them. They like you." He winked to the young boy, a confident and serious look in his eye. Returning to take their order, Rhye grinned up to his old friend.
"Bonjour monsieur." She dipped her head.
"I want whatever this is." Duncan pointed at a picture, but had no idea what it was.
Ophelia squeezed Rhye's hand. "I'll have whatever you're having. As long as it doesn't have mushrooms or scallops. I'm deathly allergic."
Rhye's heart fluttered at her words. She knew some french- she was a natural. Smiling warmly at her, he nodded then looked to Duncan who pointed out a questionable meal. Rhye stifled a hearty laugh and shook his head, covering his mouth with a clenched fist, a humorous look in his eye. "You don't want that. It isn't kosher." Looking to his friend, he had an amused look on his lips, half-covering his smile with the notepad for orders. "Duncan, that is bull balls." Nodding, he closed his menu and looked back to their waiter.
"Nous allons prendre une petite commande de bâtonnets de fromage. Avec deux grosses commandes de poulet rôti classique avec un cornet de frites à la fois sur." Looking back to the two, he grabbed their menus and handed them to the waiter. With a thank you, he took their orders back to the kitchen and began preparing the fires. "I ordered you cheese sticks and us," smiling at Ophelia and squeezing her hand in both of his, "roasted chicken, the classic way."
"What was that about?"
Rhye shook his head, a playful smile on his face. "Oh, earlier? Nothing. Just a.. mistake." He nodded. "Yeah, about the order." He covered it up and grinned, bringing her hand to his lips, leaning over the table slightly to do so.
