Ophelia was lounging on the bed in her empty dormitory, reading the book she snatched from Rhye, almost done with it in fact, when the most shocking and unexpected sound interrupted her thoughts.
"Oh OPHELIA!" Came a sickeningly sweet voice. "I have something that belongs to you!"
Ophelia's head shot up and she started so suddenly that she jolted sideways off the bed, but managed to catch herself silently on her hands and knees. She heard footsteps pounding up the stairs. She lowered herself onto her stomach and watched as a very nice pair of shoes entered her room. She smirked, extended her wand out under the bed towards Rhye and cast a silent stinging hex.

Rhye felt a tingling sensation in his feet. It didn't quite hurt, but it was enough to make him hop back a bit. He grimaced and pulled out his wand, eyes darting to all the beds and on the ground. Smart one. He grinned and crouched to his knees, lifting the bed skirt of the one closest to him.
A familiar pale face was hidden underneath, and before she could react, he had already shouted: "Rictusempra!"
Rhye smirked as he'd watch her, helpless to the tickling sensation it caused. It'd wear off soon enough.
"So, I have something of yours.." He chuckled happily, whole-heartily. "You forgot your fur ball in the forest." Just as he said that, Snow seemed to dart under the bed towards her owner. Rhye was a hero- well, in his mind. "What would have happened to poor Snow if she was left there all alone?"
He wouldn't mention him being in possession of the notepad until she mentioned being in possession of his book.

Ophelia stifled a laugh as Rhye stepped back quickly. But her laugh soon turned to apprehension as she saw knee's touch the ground, and before she could defend herself a handsome face was grinning. A "Rictusempra" was cast and Ophelia flopped on her back laughing at the top of her lungs. She contorted and was completely at the mercy of Rhye's cleverly cast spell. She was still laughing lightly when the spell died out. She was breathing hard. The book she had stolen was in her left hand and she casually flicked in under her bed while pulling herself up into a sitting position.
When she finally caught her breath Rhye spoke. "So, I have something of yours.." He chuckled. "You forgot your fur ball in the forest." Just as he said that, Snow seemed to dart under the bed towards her owner. "What would have happened to poor Snow if she was left there all alone?"
Ophelia swooped her cat up into her arms and hugged her, drinking in the comfort she radiated. "Well, she is a cat, and cats are clever. She's not just any cat either, she's my familiar. I do believe she would have found her way home, as she wonders about all the time. However, it did make for a good excuse to follow me." She narrowed her eyes playfully at Rhye.
"Are you following me, Mr. Alexendre?" She looked up at him lightly.

"Hahahahaha!" Rhye laughed hard as she pulled herself up on the bed again, his eyes squinting because he was chuckling too hard. His hand clutched to his chest slowly, his breathing returning to normal as he put his wand up, glancing at Ophelia.
He mustered up his strength left from laughing and nodded. "She is smart, like her owner." He raised an eyebrow at the next question.
"Are you following me, Mr. Alexendre?" She looked up at him lightly.
"You caught me, I am following you." Rhye said with as much as a straight face as he could. His arms crossed as he sat down on the edge of her bed, eying the girl suspiciously. "Wanna know how clever I am? I got myself into your common room, AND I realize that you also are withholding information from me.... and by information, I mean my book." He smirked devilishly.
"Now hand it over, or else." He threatened, playfully of course, his hand extended waiting for it.

Ophelia smirked. "You are a Racenclaw. Ravenclaws are supposed to be clever." She set her cat on the bed and stood up, walking to the center of her circular girls dormitory. She raised her hands out to her sides and spun around in a circle. "Figure it out." She grinned mischievously.

Rhye resisted the urge to go tackle her and throw her over his shoulder, making her laugh until she peed or confessed. Since they had just met- he'd keep it calm.
"Miss Ophelia.. it is awfully rude to take things that don't belong to you." He imitated Snape's voice, almost to perfection.
With movements like that of a lion stalking its prey, Rhye followed her slowly, his eyes locked on her. His shoulders rolled back as he stretched his arms out. "You know, I could stay here all day, but that is kind of against the rules. We wouldn't want to get in trouble, now would we?"
He hoped that she'd understand his determination, his persistence- he wouldn't be leaving here so easily.

"You know, I could stay here all day, but that is kind of against the rules. We wouldn't want to get in trouble, now would we?"
Ophelia noted an odd look in his eyes. She couldn't quite place it but it made him that much more attractive.
"Well, I don't know. It depends on what kind of trouble. Not all trouble it bad." She winked at him while they circled each other. They circled until his back was to the wall. Ophelia's smile turned into a frown when a certain hated eagle appeared on the seat of her window. It was her brothers owl, and a visit from it never bode well. She gulped and slipped her wand out of its holding place, muttered a quick accio and the book was in her hand. She smiled at Rhye, but her smile didn't quite reach her eyes. She had to keep the act up, despite her mood being completely depleted.
"You book." She grinned and pushed it into Rhye's hand. She pulled him by the elbow to the door of the dormitory. "You just needed your book, right?" She teased him about his "excuse" for following her and slightly eased him out the door. "I'll see you later?" She smiled wildly and sincerely before closing the door. She didn't even leave him time to reply it all happened so quickly.
Ophelia turned her back on the door and leaned against it, staring at the offending bird. She closed her eyes. She felt like she had just ruined the possibility of a new friendship. Her brother always managed to ruin everything. She sighed and walked over to the eagle and ripped the letter from its mouth. It squaked at her, she glared at it while immaturely sticking her tongue out at it. With a final cry out at her, it took off.
She looked down at the envelope and sneered. Lifting her wand she pointed at the parchment. "Incendio!" She said bitterly and watched as the unread letter went up in satisfying flames. She didn't feel any better, despite the flames. She sighed again and flopped backwards on the bed.
