Natalie made her way up to the dance class room on the fifth floor. Her cast had been sawed off and she could move again. She was not suppose to be up and walking let along dancing. She was suppose to be resting her ankle. She had been that way ever since she was a kid. Maybe it came her getting involved with her brothers day to day issues. That was before Neville turned around. He had become bolder and bolder with each passing day. The thought of her brother made a grin spread across her face. She loved her brother dearly. Sometimes she picked on him, this was true, but it was all in innocent fun. Was that not a sisters job after all? Pick on her brother?
The battle in the forest was weighing heavily on her mind. Everything still played out whenever she shut her eyes. What scared her the mist was the the hex she let fly. The voice that shouted it out wasn't her own. It was darker, more sinister. After what happened with her parents, Natalie never thought she would mutter any of the three unforgivable curses. She shook her head several time to knock that away.
Stop it, Longbottom. Leave the past where it belongs. She snapped at herself. She was doing that allot lately.
She nudged open the door with her shoulder and flicked on a light. The teacher in charge had just up and disappeared a couple months ago. Why they did so was not Natalie's concern. The room was still in perfect working order. The floors still glossy, mirrors still shiny, and the balance bars were still screwed tightly into the walls. She would clean it any chance she got.
After quick change into a scarlet tank top, a pair of black shorts and black ballerina flats, Natalie strolled into the middle of the room. She sighed. The only new addition to her wardrobe was the brace on her ankle. Her dark brown tresses were tied back at the base of her skull.
A quick flick of her wand and music flowed into the room and hit her ear drums. An upbeat and quick paced R & B beat was exactly the fire she needed to go. Her hips dipped and rocked, her arms reached out to her mirrored self when retracted.
Natalie got lost in the jumps and spins. She only was brought out of it when she had tripped over something and almost landed flat on her face. What the hell? What happened there? " One more try huh? " She panted to herself. Natalie pushed herself up and started her routine again.
