When I'm dead, I'll rest. You lecherous douche! Caesar lifted his head up, gentle breezes rolling against his features. With a small yawn, he tightened his scarf around his neck and narrowed his eyes, focusing on the tree in the distance. He turned his head away for a moment and stretched out. Caesar had just gotten up around noon in a pretty sour mood. He had asked around for his Emma but nobody really mentioned in detail where she was in Hogsmeade, so he found it inconvenient to go and search for her. It was the weekend and it was usually too busy for any smooth travel in the streets. As he turned back towards the tree, he looked over the lawns and noticed a figure walking at a brisk pace. As the figure got nearer, he could make out the bright red locks that graced their head. His lips turned up at the corners and he felt his mood lighten up. Emma! Caesar pulled his coat tight against his chest and buttoned it up as he made his way down the hill. With small lifts in the wind currents, his hair lifted from around his eyes and the bright brown-yellow color that he was born with was perfectly seen. He paused when he got closer to her, his feet slowly halting. She looked angry. His eyes softened and he felt his mood rot back, knowing good and well that someone hurt his baby. His hands curled up into balls inside his coat pockets and he made his way closer, almost gliding despite his inside mood. He was about to approach her when she kicked a rock about, muttering something he could barely hear. His eyebrows furrowed and he pulled his hands out, about to reach out to her, but she bent over and picked up a rock. His eyes widened and he watched her toss a rock at the tree. The tree angrily swatted the rock back at the pair and he grabbed her to pull her away from it. With one arm around her shoulder, he tugged her out of smashing distance and rested his hands on her shoulders. He opened his mouth to speak but he couldn't. Shaking his head slowly for a bit, he closed his eyes. "Who pissed you off?"Well, my mother didn't raise no fool. God, my blood boils at the thought of you.

Delphi's eyes widened as the tree hit the larger rock and it came back at her. She flinched and braced herself for the impact. But two strong hands grabbed her shoulders and she was pulled out of harms way. It was only after she was pulled away from he tree's line of danger that she looked up to see Caesar. His hands were on her shoulders and she continued to huff, looking away. She brought her arms up to her chest to stop them from shaking in anger.
"Who pissed you off?" Delphi looked up at him. She had originally planned to tell Caesar, it was Rhye she wasn't going to tell, but now that the opportunity to tell him had presented itself, she didn't really want to. She hesitated.
"No one." She muttered, not making eye contact. But then she dragged Caesar away from the area and to a calm place to sit down. Still shaking with pent up anger, she pulled her knee's up and began ruthlessly pulling at the grass. "I went to Hogsmeade with Cassidy, another younger Ravenclaw. She needed new bedsheets because hers have given her a rash." She looked up at Caesar and added, "It looks like it was done on purpose. Anyways," she hesitated again, "David showed up. You know, the Hufflepuff." She said slowly, waiting for her words to sink in. "A group formed of me, Cassidy, David, Luna, Asher, and Chyna. And we headed off to the Ice Cream Parlor together." She paused, letting what all she had said so far sink in.

"No one." She muttered, not making eye contact.
Caesar laughed lightly and caressed her cheek softly. "Don't you dare lie to me, Emma." He smiled warmly, trying to hide his already sour mood. But then Caesar was being dragged to a new spot and he sat down beside her, wrapping his arm around her side, letting his hand fall on hers. "Don't hurt the grass like that." He chuckled, holding her hand in his. "Calm down and take a deep breath."
"I went to Hogsmeade with Cassidy, another younger Ravenclaw. She needed new bedsheets because hers have given her a rash." She looked up at Caesar and added, "It looks like it was done on purpose. Anyways," she hesitated again, "David showed up. You know, the Hufflepuff."
At that moment, his inner emotions spread to the surface and he let a definite scowl appear, his eyebrows furrowing. "What did he say?" He said in a stern voice and clenched his jaw. Caesar was almost drowning in the combined hatred Rhye and he shared for the Ulcer.
"A group formed of me, Cassidy, David, Luna, Asher, and Chyna. And we headed off to the Ice Cream Parlor together." She paused. Caesar narrowed his eyes and pulled his hands to his lap, looking out on the lawn as the tree sensed the tension and began smashing the grounds to pieces.
"What did he say?" He said again, a bit more aggravated and angrier. "What did the shithead say to you that got you into such a bad mood?" He growled, looking over to her, his eyes now a deep, deep brown. Almost black. "And don't lie." He warned softly, his voice serious along with his features.

Delphi had done what Caesar asked. As he sopped her hands from tearing at the grass, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before giving the first part of her explanation. When she had finished, Caesar pulled his hands away from her, and she could sense his anger building.
'Well,' she thought to herself, 'it's too late to back out now.' Delphi let out a sigh and watched the Tree of Anger beat the ground. It wasn't pretty. It was a ways away now, and she picked up a small rock and chinked it at the tree, effectively hitting it's trunk. It shook in anger and slammed it's branches to the ground at once. The ground shook. "I know how you feel." She muttered.
"What did he say?" He said again, a bit more aggravated and angrier. His anger was building and it all but radiated off of him. She wasn't sure just how mad he would get. Alright, that was a lie- he would be pissed. She just wasn't sure if it would be a blow-out yelling anger, or would it be a calming silent, low voice anger. And to be honest, she wasn't sure which would be scarier.
"He was just being stupid." Delphi said angrily in a low growl. She looked away and started tearing at the grass again. "Gah! He's just awful!" Her anger was building and she was getting more and more angry! Her fist hit the ground. Delphi could feel the anger brimming up inside her and it slowly started to escape through angry tears.
"What did the shithead say to you that got you into such a bad mood?" He growled, looking over to her. Delphi hesitated again.
"All of it?" She asked, though it was a stupid question. Of course he would want to know everything!
"And don't lie." He warned softly, his voice serious along with his features. Delphi let out a sigh as she began, her fingers ripping into the ground to calm herself. She had never been this angry before in her entire life, and she had no idea how to handle it.
"David walked outside and Cassidy followed, they were talking and I thought they should be friends so I went outside and I was nudging her to follow him and so I don't know. I guess he interpreted it as a shove and his whole body tensed up, and he asked if I was coming with them- although his voice made it sound like a forced and very unfriendly question. So I got mad, never raised my voice, and told him that I was done trying to be his friend. He just acted so judgmental of me. I told Cassidy I was going back to the castle, and I went to leave." She said in a rush, letting it all come out in a mangled mess that was her emotions. She took a deep breath and through another rock.
"He should have just let me walk away. But that would be too easy, wouldn't it?" She looked to Caesar with a bitter voice. "It doesn't get better." She warned. Delphi bit her lip. "He called me a stuck up slag. Told me you wanted to leave me for a 'prettier model' and then asked if I would just run to Rhye. Then he said that Rhye was only with Ophelia because I was too good for him." She wiped under her eyes, the anger spilling over more greatly. "Then he said that I was 'way below his league'. I don't get it! What is his problem with me?" She asked in anger, now jumping to her feet to pace. "And then," she started again loudly, turning to Caesar, "he quite literally begged me to hit him!" She let out a frustrated growl. "Of course I didn't!" She was pacing again in anger. "Merlin knows I wanted to- wanted to break his nose. But no" she drug out, "I can't do that because I am too nice. I would regret it." She turned to Caesar and smiled sincerely. "Then I told him that he didn't know you, and that Rhye loved Ophelia, and he shouldn't speak of what he doesn't comprehend. And I told him that to fight him would be to waste my time." She dropped to the ground, crossing her legs- her energy finally dying out of her as the tears fell. "He makes me so angry, Caesar! What did I do wrong? I have never been so angry in my entire life! How does he bring it out in me?" She flopped back onto the grass, pulling her knee's up. She was finally to the last part, and she was more worried about telling him the final part.
"And then there was something else." She turned her head to look at him. Telling Caesar what David had said about her blood would be very difficult, and the results would not be pretty.

Caesar didn't want to be holding her when his anger boiled over and he erupted. He knew he would. Emma had never been that angry before, and he had a feeling that he might have to kill someone before the night was over.
"He was just being stupid." Delphi said angrily in a low growl. She looked away and started tearing at the grass again. "Gah! He's just awful!"
Caesar's fists tightened and he rested his elbows on his knees, leaning forwards, his breaths becoming short and quick. "That isn't any news." He snorted, an evil smirk on his face. Yes, Caesar could be the most awful and evil person in the world- not yet among the ranks of Voldemort, but pretty close. He could break someone with a glare, bend them over backwards with the way his lips curled into a snarl- it was all part of his long line of Slytherin blood and his sorting. He could manipulate you into doing pretty much anything.
But most of the time, he stayed quiet and stayed to himself. Only on rare and extreme occasions did he erupt like that- and most recently, all those situations had been because of either David or the Army they were starting. This time, again, he would blame David.
"All of it?" She asked, though it was a stupid question. Of course he would want to know everything!
Caesar growled softly, his head nodding.
I told Cassidy I was going back to the castle, and I went to leave."
Caesar watched her carefully knowing good and well that his anger was visible on his face and clear in his eyes. "He better not have laid a hand on you or even thought of laying a hand on you." He snapped, his eyes narrowed. "I'll kill him."
"He should have just let me walk away. But that would be too easy, wouldn't it?" She looked to Caesar with a bitter voice. "It doesn't get better."
Caesar's eyes widened and he stood up, shaking his head, his eyes clamping shut. "Where is he?" He growled, looking around as if he would be back at any time. "Where the fuck is he?" He asked, louder again, his veins coursing with hatred.
"He called me a stuck up slag. Told me you wanted to leave me for a 'prettier model' and then asked if I would just run to Rhye. Then he said that Rhye was only with Ophelia because I was too good for him." She wiped under her eyes.
Caesar let a loud roar escape and he shook his head, his hands going into his pockets before he could hurt something. His eyes opened and he looked over to her, calming down somewhat as she wiped her eyes. He frowned, gently stepping towards her and wrapping his arms around her. "You know that's not true." He hushed her softly and kissed her head, shaking his own. "I love you so much."
"Then he said that I was 'way below his league'. I don't get it! What is his problem with me?"
His hands rubbed down her back gently and he shook his head again. "He's an ignorant fool." He clenched his teeth together and furrowed his brow. "If I see him again, I am going to kill him."
"And then," she started again loudly, turning to Caesar, "he quite literally begged me to hit him!"
Caesar laughed. "Oh, if I would have been there, I would have taken him up on that asshole." He spat, his hands clenching into fists back into his pockets, continuing to shake his head in amazement.
She let out a frustrated growl. "Of course I didn't!" She was pacing again in anger. "Merlin knows I wanted to- wanted to break his nose. But no I can't do that because I am too nice. I would regret it." She turned to Caesar and smiled sincerely. "Then I told him that he didn't know you, and that Rhye loved Ophelia, and he shouldn't speak of what he doesn't comprehend. And I told him that to fight him would be to waste my time."
Caesar sighed in relief and smiled towards her. "I'm proud of you for being the bigger person and staying calm." He wrapped himself around her again, pulling her to sit down on his lap.
"He makes me so angry, Caesar! What did I do wrong? I have never been so angry in my entire life! How does he bring it out in me?" Caesar hugged her tighter and pressed his lips to her cheeks, shaking his head. Rocking her a bit, he tried to calm her down and get her to stop crying. With a small smile, he pulled her cheek and turned her head to look up at him.
"Hey- people like to tear others down to make themselves feel better." Caesar kissed her head. "Don't let him get to you. Let me take care of him." He grinned, winking. "If he want to be an asshole, he can pick on someone his own size. I'll take him down a peg or two- I come from a long line of assholes." He chuckled, rubbing her back and sides comfortingly. "I love you Emma. Please don't worry about him." He raised an eyebrow. "Maybe Iven and I can invite him out here for a little talk." He snickered, his anger still clear in his eyes. "He won't live to make you cry another day."

"He better not have laid a hand on you or even thought of laying a hand on you. I'll kill him." Delphi's eyes grew wide as she was quick to reassure her boyfriend with her hands on his arm.
"No, no not at all! I wouldn't have walked away from that! I would have fought him until one of us died." She told him darkly, her eyes narrowing at the thought. Delphi fell backwards slightly when Caesar took to standing quite suddenly. He was shaking his head and the anger radiated off of him.
"Where is he?" Caesar growled, looking around. "Where the fuck is he?" He asked, louder again. Delphi jumped to her feet, running around to the front of Caesar and laying her hands on his chest, looking up into his face. He was so angry, and while it warmed her heart that he cared so damn much about her, she didn't want him to get expelled from the school. Or worse, get sent to Azkaban.
"Caesar, please calm down. I need you to be calm if I am going to finish my story. This isn't near the worse part, and I need to know that you won't rush off and do something stupid!" She said seriously. "Caesar, please." Delphi laid a warm and shaky hand on his cheek in attempts to bring him back to reality and calm him down. Caesar let a loud roar escape and Delphi flinched. "Caesar," she repeated again in a bit of a whisper.
Delphi squeezed tightly, letting the tears fall freely now when she was in the safety of his arms. "You know that's not true." She nodded into his chest, using a hand to wipe away her tears. He hushed her softly and kissed her head. "I love you so much." Delphi wrapped her arms around Caesars and pulled herself up to him tightly, her feet picking up to her tip-toes.
"I know you do. I think that's why his words hurt so much. They were so wrong. He just- he doesn't understand. He's not capable of it. And it irks me that he, or anyone for that matter, would assume you love me less then you actually do. I love you so much." She kissed his cheek and pulled back to finish her story. His hands rubbed down her back gently and she rested her head on his chest, rubbing at her eyes.
"He's an ignorant fool. If I see him again, I am going to kill him." Delphi smiled weakly.
"After today, I'm not even sure I would care." She spoke blankly. Delphi had never said such words in her life, and the fact that she said them now spoke volumes to her current mood. To how upset and angry she was. Her words were very unlike her- and that only showed how the situation had effected her. Caesar sighed in relief and smiled towards her.
"I'm proud of you for being the bigger person and staying calm." Delphi was pulled down into Caesar's lap and she crossed her arms with a snort.
"I'm not. The more I think about it, the more I want to run back to him and tell him my exact opinions of him- and I want to tell it all through wand movements." She growled, pulling at the ground again angrily. "How do you do it?" She said in exasperation. "I have seen you mad on numerous occasions. How do you handle it? I don't even know what to do! I'm so mad-" she looked around as she thought of her next words and spotted a smaller tree, "I'm so mad I could punch a tree!" She huffed and tried to roll out of Caesar's lap in attempts to take her anger out on the tree. Her anger was building and she didn't know what to do with it, so she half yelled in frustration and anger.
Caesar was hugging her and kissing her cheeks. She let him rock her, and her breathing settled and she felt some- some of her anger dissipate. He pulled her cheek so she was looking at him, a soft smile on his face.
"Hey- people like to tear others down to make themselves feel better." Caesar kissed her head. Delphi shook her head in frustration. Her current moods bounced between, anger, sadness, and frustration. She was angry and saddened by the boys words, and frustrated because she didn't know how to handle the level of anger that had overcome her.
"But why? That makes no sense at all! If I made someone upset and cry like that- I don't know what I would do!" Caesar told her not to worry, that he could take care of it and Delphi couldn't help but grin and bury her cheek into his chest. He chuckled, rubbing her back and sides comfortingly.
"I love you Emma. Please don't worry about him." Delphi sighed.
"I just can't help it. Every time. It just never ends. I see him, and I wonder what he will say or how I will mess up." Caesar raised an eyebrow.
"Maybe Iven and I can invite him out here for a little talk. He won't live to make you cry another day." Delphi laughed. She had never met Iven, but she knew who he was, as he was one of, if not the only, male Slytherin's that Caesar got along with.
"Maybe so," she said, but then she winced. Delphi had to tell Caesar the final part. He would be so angry if she didn't- and he would know. Caesar already lived in an environment that painted a poor picture of Muggle's and Muggle Borns, and she feared this would only increase his beliefs. She hoped, for the sake of their relationship, that Caesar didn't let this represent all Muggle Borns. After all, Rhye was Muggle Born, and he would never say to her what David had said.
"David told me that while I may not fight him now, that I would fight him when I was on the Dark Lords side. He said that, because I am 'Pure Blood scum'. And so I guess that automatically makes me a supporter of him." Without pausing or looking up to see Caesar's reaction, Delphi continued. "He then continued to say that I think, all Pure Blood's think that we are ahead of everyone because of incest. And then he said he learned all that in the library. Because you know, the family records in the library talk all about incest. What I really want to know is why he was looking up my family tree. It's like- it's like he's obsessed- and it worries me sometimes, Caesar." She punched the tree that was behind Caesar. Letting the pain rock through her body as stress and anger released itself.
"Have I mentioned how much I hate him?" She spit out, rubbing absentmindedly at her throbbing hand. "I hate him. He treats me- he treats me like shit! I was the one who tried to talk to him after the incident with Nott. I tried everything to be nice to him- to be his friend. He makes me want to quit. To not even try and be friendly. That bastard makes me want to fight people like him. He makes me-" she cut herself off as she was so angry she was now shaking. She bit her cheek hard to keep herself from finishing her sentence; and she felt blood pool some in her mouth. If she would have finished that sentence- she would have verbally doomed her friendship with Rhye. How could she think such thoughts. She turned away and began to cry softly. "He makes me a terrible person, Caesar. He makes me think terrible things." She looked over her shoulder, "He makes me want to consider the Dark Lord for a minute. But I could never. I care about Rhye so much. To think I could even think- even consider..." She trailed off, disgusted with herself.
"I told him he was being ridiculous, and I tried to leave." She pulled away from Caesar to stand a few feet away from him. He was going to need space, and she was going to give it to him. "And then he said I was, 'just Tom Riddle's whore'. I told him if I was Tom Riddle's whore, then he would be dead." She finally said.

"Caesar," she repeated again in a bit of a whisper. His eyes shifted down to her while his mind was suppressed with bad thoughts. Really bad thoughts. He finally closed his eyes and blanked out of it, returning back into reality. Caesar wrapped his arms around her and pulled her tight against him. He needed her so that he could calm himself down. Emma made him calm.
Delphi squeezed tightly, he could feel her begin to cry as he held her, but he just tightened his grip. She nodded into his chest, using a hand to wipe away her tears. Delphi wrapped her arms around Caesars and pulled herself up to him tightly, her feet picking up to her tip-toes. Caesar gave a weak smile and kissed her nose.
"I know you do. I think that's why his words hurt so much. They were so wrong. He just- he doesn't understand. He's not capable of it. And it irks me that he, or anyone for that matter, would assume you love me less then you actually do. I love you so much." She kissed his cheek and pulled back.
"His words don't hurt me, they make me angry. He doesn't have enough guts to come here and tell that to me. He makes these shallow accusations and has nothing to prove for them. I wish I would have been there. He would have no heart to pump his blood throughout his body. I would have ripped it out already." He thought back to his pet wolf spider at home. "And I would have fed it to my spider!" He hissed, shaking his head. "That boy has some luck on his side, apparently."
"After today, I'm not even sure I would care." She spoke blankly. Caesar lifted his eyebrows in suspicion.
I'm so mad-"
Caesar raised his head as she began pulling at the grass again. His smile lifted and he laughed softly at her, kissing the side of her head. "I know how you feel. And how do I handle being mad?" Caesar tapped his chin and thought, a chuckle emitting. "I am a Slytherin, coming from a long line of Slytherins. I believe I was born mad. It runs in my blood. I have just grown up to expect the stupid out of people and I know how they react. People watching, studying reactions- its all part of my knowledge." He grinned. "To take down an army, you don't run in and start swinging your sword," he shook his head, "you take out the leader and let everyone else squirm with doubt and uncertainty."
"I'm so mad I could punch a tree!" She huffed and tried to roll out of Caesar's lap in attempts to take her anger out on the tree. Caesar laughed out loud and pulled her back in, burrowing his forehead into her back, squeezing her from behind.
"I would not take your anger out on that tree. It would crush you." He joked, a smile on his lips. "Just calm down."
"But why? That makes no sense at all! If I made someone upset and cry like that- I don't know what I would do!" Caesar told her not to worry, that he could take care of it and Delphi couldn't help but grin and bury her cheek into his chest.
"Its a muggle thing. They strive for power. Well- I say that lightly. It's like a muggle thing, but, Rhye isn't the type. It is just David's personality." When the name left his lips, he felt his teeth tighten on his tongue. It disgusted him.
"I just can't help it. Every time. It just never ends. I see him, and I wonder what he will say or how I will mess up." Caesar raised an eyebrow.
"You don't mess up. Get that right. You are not the problem here, he is. The things he says- it doesn't matter, dear." He chuckled, shaking his head. "He is worthless."
"Maybe so," Caesar nodded but hesitated, seeing her wince.
Caesar's eyes closed as he took in her words. "Oh, the Dark Lord wouldn't take mercy on his worthless blood." He laughed, almost eerily. But then his eyes shot open at her next part. "Incest?" He laughed angrily, his chest heaving now. "Incest, really?" His nostrils flared and he cackled. "He would know a thing or two about incest because that is what happened within his family. That is why he is mentally handicapped today, his personality issues. Incest is always the answer, right?" He snapped, his teeth bared. "That bastard, he better pray to whatever it is he thinks is keeping him breathing that I don't ever find him again. If he knows what is good for him, he will leave this place before I get my hands around his throat and squeeze." His blood was boiling. Caesar's eyes clamped tight and he knew she had more to tell him. This evening would not end pretty.
Caesar knew what she was about to say and he winced at the thought of it.
"Don't you even begin to think like that. You know damn well that Rhye is a Muggleborn too." He shook his head, holding her hands in his as she began to cry, wrapping his arms around her from the side. "Don't sink to his level."
"He makes me a terrible person, Caesar. He makes me think terrible things." She looked over her shoulder, "He makes me want to consider the Dark Lord for a minute. But I could never. I care about Rhye so much. To think I could even think- even consider..." She trailed off.
Caesar kissed her shoulder gently and looked up to her. "I know, Emma. I know." He ran his hand through her hair and sighed. "You care about Rhye a lot. That much Rhye and I both know. And, I think that if Rhye was in your position and David was a pureblood, he would feel the same way. It's hard. But I am here for you. I know you are a better person than him. You are strong and independent, and you know better." He sighed, his anger holding still for a moment. But her next words made his.... temper... ten times worse.
"I told him he was being ridiculous, and I tried to leave." She pulled away from Caesar to stand a few feet away from him. That was a sign that told Caesar things were about to get worse. "And then he said I was, 'just Tom Riddle's whore'. I told him if I was Tom Riddle's whore, then he would be dead." She finally said.
Caesar blinked. He was calm on the outside but the ground around him started to throb and shake, small cracks of dirt spitting up from the ground. Within a moment, a circle around Caesar split open on the ground and it was cracked unevenly, a gaping crack surrounding him. He looked down at the ground and stared. "Dead." He said quietly, looking up to Emma. "He is so dead." He grinned, shaking his head. Standing up swiftly, he shook his pants off. "If he wants to meet Tom Riddle's whore, I can gladly arrange that. I can arrange him to meet with YouKnowWho himself. I have those connections." A deep growl rumbled within his chest and the ground began to shake again, more tiny cracks branching off. "He does not even know what he just unleashed." He spat, his fists tightening and the veins in his arms displayed violently. "I'm going to kill him."
