Delphi Emma Jaymesinn was heading down towards the Whomping Willow. It was late, and the Moon was high in the sky, all stars shining bright and in their nightly places. Earlier in the night, Delphi had woken from a nightmare. She remembered it vividly, but refused to think about it again. She hadn't properly mauled it over in her head yet, and to be honest, she didn't want to.
After a finale, 'Pointme Spell,' the Ravenclaw looked up, spotting a small figure sitting in an open area facing the Whomping Willow, but with his back to her. She took a hesitant step forward, but stopped immediately. She shook her head and began pacing.
It had been at least a week, she had stopped counting after five days, since she had spoken to- her boyfriend. His name hadn't passed her lips since their fight. And it seemed as though it wouldn't come until she had cleared things up with him.
Had she been wrong? She didn't think so. She just wanted to do what she could so the two of them could live happily. But now she had gone and fucked it all up. She had stayed at the meeting that night, but when she had gone back to her dormitory, she had cried herself to sleep. And almost every night since then. That was how she had feel asleep this night. Waking up with a nightmare had just been too much. The stress of their conflict had become to much. She hadn't been turning anything in, and her teachers were worried. Without officially deciding, she started slowly heading towards the Slytherin. The closer she got, the more her heard began to hurt, and the more she realized how much she had missed him. She eased herself down on his left side.
Delphi was quiet for a moment, but finally opened her mouth to speak. She surprised herself when her, "Sorry," Came out in a sob. But it wouldn't stop. Her sobs got louder and closer together. "I'm so sorry." She said in between gasps. "I'm a terrible girlfriend. I just wanted what was best for us. And I was embarrassed and I handled it all wrong. I love you so much. And I know you don't want to see me hurt. I just don't want our kids to ask me what I did to help fight He Who Must Not Be Named, and have to tell them nothing. My father hates me so much." She choked on her words. "I think- Its like, if I fight, then I give him a reason to hate me. Like- like, I don't know. He hates me so much, I might as well give him a real reason. And now, I've just managed to push you away. I'm so so sorry. I understand if you can't forgive me. I just need you to know how sorry I am."
Delphi was gasping now, trying to even her breathing. She was such a mess. And ugly, pathetic mess. The girl muttered something that sounded like, "disappointment" and tried to rise to her feet. She didn't feel better, but at least she had spoken her peace.

The branches seemed to dance extra vividly that night. It's thick clumps of arms swayed back and fourth, an almost creaking noise emitting from its depths. And Caesar's eyes were glued to its movements. His legs were spread a little bit, just out of reach from the tree's widest stretch, and he felt empty inside.
He hadn't spoken since his big fight with Delphi- and he didn't intend to. Some part of him wanted to find her and apologize- but that part was suppressed by his Slytherin attitude. The night Caesar left her in the tower, Rhye had followed him and calmed him down. Amazingly enough to where Caesar didn't even have to explain anything.
With a crash, the tree pounded into the ground infront of Caesar. He lifted his eyes to the sky and noticed it was late. He had been out there for hours, watching the tree, thinking. But his inner peace was disrupted as a trail of light footsteps came behind him and a figure plopped down beside him.
Caesar shut his eyes and looked away, pulling his knees to his chest. The tree moved violently from side to side and smashed into the earth angrily. It's funny how the tree could sometimes sense what he was thinking- it was a show of his true feelings.
Delphi was unusually quiet for a moment, but she finally opened her mouth to speak. Caesar's eyes clamped tighter as she began to sob. "Sorry," But it wouldn't stop.
Caesar stayed quiet for a moment as she got up. She wasn't doing too well of a job on her own- she was shaky and unstable. His heart broke into more pieces, finally letting his brown eyes examine her. She looked terrible, but so did he. They both were miserable it seemed.
His knee pulled up under him and he pushed off the ground with his hands and stood up after she took a few steps. Caesar glided over behind her quietly. His fingers went to her shoulder and he placed a firm, warm, yet gentle hand on it, stopping her. He turned her around and pulled her back into his chest with a comforting movement. His fingers grazed her back up and down as he hugged her tight. "Shhh." That's all he could muster at first. "Shh, I'm here."
Caesar's voice was getting deeper as the moments passed. "Delphi, my parents love him. I grew up where he was a praised household name. He was important to my childhood- but that's exactly where he'll stay." His eyes closed once more. "You can't ask me to choose sides. After I told you everything about my past and you knowing how predetermined my life is, you can't force or even ask that of or on me." Caesar's hand tightened on her back and he pulled back and out of the hug for a minute.
"Your Dad is like my parents, I believe. If I were to join you, my parents would disown me and kill me. Not to mention them, but my sister. She'd hate me." His eyes sank to the ground the tree had carved holes into during their talking. "Your Dad doesn't hate you. He loves you. Even if you're doing something he'd never approve of, he's gotta be happy somewhere because you are a valuable person to people. You're someone people would gladly give everything for. You make your own decisions and that's something to admire. You're the complete and total opposite of me." He sighed and looked to the tree, he hand reaching to back of his neck to rub aimlessly.
"You shouldn't have fallen in love with a Slytherin." He looked back towards her, his hand clutching his side. Growing pains sunk into his bones and his eyes closed. "I shouldn't have let you do it."

The silence that filled the air killed her. And upon standing, she took an unsteady step forward. Her whole body trembled with unshed tears, from where, she didn't know. Delphi had gone a few steps when she was slightly startled by a hand on her shoulder. She was turned around and found herself pressed into a warm and masculine embrace. Surprisingly, when she thought they would fall the hardest, tears came. Well, maybe a few. But not nearly like they had earlier. Her arms found comfort in wrapping around his back. Her open palms quickly turned to desperate clinging as she balled her fists around his shirt and cried more into his chest. Delphi had missed him so much. His sound, his look, his smell. She hadn't had a raspberry since they had fought. Caesar hugged her tighter then she thought he ever had, and finally, she felt at home.
"Shhh." That's all he could muster at first. "Shh, I'm here."
"Please don't go." She whispered.
The Ravenclaw had nodded, moving her hands to cup her own cheeks, as if it would keep them from shaking. "I know that now. I never should have asked you to chose. It was terribly selfish of me. I don't know what I was thinking. It was foolish."
"Your Dad is like my parents, I believe. If I were to join you, my parents would disown me and kill me. Not to mention them, but my sister. She'd hate me." His eyes sank to the ground the tree had carved holes into during their talking.
Her body shook violently. "No." She whispered. "Don't ever say that. If you died-" She choked on a small sob, but recovered quickly. "I would die too." She boldly looked up into his round and pain filled eyes. "It doesn't matter to me anymore. Only you matter. You are the only real family I have. If joining the Dark Lord protects you and my family, I'll do it. If you think we can stay neutral, then I will follow you. Fighting him isn't worth losing you. I don't want to come between you and your family. I should never let my family dysfunctions allow me to be inconsiderate when it come to yours."
Delphi took his hand that rubbed the back of his neck and pressed the palm to her lips to lay a chaste kiss on it before exploring his hand with her own two. "No. He does. You don't understand. I have a theory why. The only reason he keeps me around is because I am his only heir. I am the only living descendant of the Jaymesinn family line. People shouldn't give anything for me. I don't want it. There are few people in this world I truly care about. And you are at the top of that list. No matter how tonight ends." She ended quietly.
"You shouldn't have fallen in love with a Slytherin." He looked back towards her, his hand clutching his side. "I shouldn't have let you do it."
"No. The best thing that has ever happened to me is falling in love with a Slytherin. I have you to thank for letting me. If we had never started dating, I would still love you. Because that's how soul mates work. Penguins mate for life. And no matter what you decide to do at the end of tonight, you will always be my penguin. I told you forever, and I meant it. Walk away, or stay, but I will never move on."

"Please don't go." She whispered.
Caesar's heart was aching under his frame of ribs, and he couldn't help it. He wanted to pick her up, take her to a nice room, lay her on the bed, and cuddle with her until they both fell asleep holding each other. He wanted to kiss her wildly and forget anything had ever happened. But he couldn't muster his own will to do any of that. He still felt hurt from that night. But he also knew that she did too.
"I won't." He mumbled into her hair, before he let her go, and sighed heavily.
"I know that now. I never should have asked you to chose. It was terribly selfish of me. I don't know what I was thinking. It was foolish."
Caesar's head shook from side to side. As she was still in his arms at that point, he pulled her back to look into her eyes. "You are not foolish. And don't feel bad. You were just acting on impulse. We come from different backgrounds, so the things that you hold strong to your morals, I don't. Like I said, you're the total opposite of me." He groaned, his eyes closing.
"No." She whispered. "Don't ever say that. If you died- I would die too." She boldly looked up into his round and pain filled eyes.
Caesar's head shook quickly again. She didn't mean what she was saying. "You know good and well you don't mean that. And me asking you to fight alongside the Dark Lord is ridiculous." He sneered. "I don't owe allegiance to him. That's my parents. I'd like to think I am different than them, but not to the extent of defying them completely... not yet at least." He sighed. "You are apart of this Army thing. The only thing I can do is let you do it. I don't know how all your friends will like a Slytherin of pureblood background with Dark Lord loving parents being at the meetings... but," he paused, his voice becoming quiet, "I'll join your side and act respectable. You won't be the only hero of the story when it comes to telling our babies."
When she explained about her family and the heir line, he felt pity with her. That was how Cordelia and Caesar were to his parents. Cordelia had been arranged to marry once she got out of School. And Caesar would probably get a talking to about being arranged with someone himself. But he wasn't going to be set up. He found his own future wife, and he wasn't letting his parents, the Dark Lord, or even Dumbledore's Army take her from him.
His head craned to looked down at her, his arms holding cover as they crossed over his chest. His heart began beating wildly at her words, and his eyes fluttered midst a chilly wind that passed by. "You're my Penguin." He said quietly, his muscles overflowing with anxiousness. He flung his arms out and took a big step towards her, picking her up by the waist and hugging her to him closely where her legs wrapped around his sides. His lips searched hungrily for hers, and when he found them, he kissed her hard until he felt a stinging pain in his side that signaled his lack of oxygen. He took in a deep breath and went back to what he was doing, moaning lightly against her lips. Once he calmed down, with her still up in his arms, he pressed her against him and ran his hand up her back, tracing 'I love you' into her clothes. "Would you mind me staying?" He looked up into her wet eyes wiping the stray tears, that came from her precious brown eyes, off her cheek.

Caesar's head shook from side to side. "You are not foolish. And don't feel bad. You were just acting on impulse. We come from different backgrounds, so the things that you hold strong to your morals, I don't. Like I said, you're the total opposite of me." He groaned, his eyes closing.
"I acted like a bloody Gryffindor is what I did." She challenged. "I hold my morals strong because my father taught me all the wrong ones. But I can give if it means keeping you beside me."
Caesar's head shook quickly again. "You know good and well you don't mean that. And me asking you to fight alongside the Dark Lord is ridiculous." He sneered.
"But I do." She cut in quickly. She felt like she was losing him, and losing him fast. His insecurities getting the best of their two year relationship.
"I don't owe allegiance to him. That's my parents. I'd like to think I am different than them, but not to the extent of defying them completely... not yet at least." He sighed.
"Don't defy your family on my behalf. I know you may think so, but I'm not worth it. You and your family- your sister. You are close." She knew he would argue, but it had to be said. The girl wanted to wrap her arms around his neck, but she didn't think she had permission. Didn't think she deserved it.
"I'll join your side and act respectable. You won't be the hero of the story when it comes to telling our babies."
Delphi wanted to hug, him, be proud and excited. But suddenly, she didn't feel like she want to win the argument. She bit at her lip. "You don't have to do that for me. We can just leave, right? After I graduate, we can leave the country. Move to a country where He hasn't taken over. I've always wanted to got to Australia." She smiled a small but sincere smile.
"You're my Penguin." Caesar said quietly. Delphi's heart picked up speed in such a way she never felt possible. She never expected those three words to do so much for her.
Caesar came at her and Delphi flung her arms around his neck now as he picked her up by the waist and hugged her to him closely. Immediately, and without conscious thought, her legs wrapped tightly around his sides, her ankles locking securely at his back.
Delphi's lips were being attacked and she desperately met them with equal force and passion. She moaned loudly against his lips and skin. "I missed you so so much." She said breathlessly when he pulled away and gasped for breath. And her lips to his jawline, and as far down his neck as she could reach, which wasn't far. So her lips moved about his face, meeting the back of his ear. The newly happy Ravenclaw arched inward when Caesar moaned against her lips. "Lets never fight again." She said quickly, taking a breath.
Once he calmed down, with her still up in his arms, he pressed her against him and she found her way to his neck as he professed his love for her in on her back.
"Would you mind me staying?" He looked up into her wet eyes wiping the stray tears, that came from her precious brown eyes, off her cheek.
Delphi leaned into his hand, closing her eyes. She nodded softly. "I would be offended if you didn't" She whispered truthfully.

Caesar's eyes searched hers aimlessly, drowning in them and not struggling to become free. Her voice sifted through his mind, and he stored all her concerns for them inside. He would discuss the family thing and plans for their future later. Right now, his inner animal wanted to lay down with her and show her how much he loved her, in the most romantic and sweetest way possible.
He couldn't bare the thought of losing her, and at that moment, all the pain and anger that he held within the cells of his body faded. They were replaced with love, compassion, forgiveness, and intimacy. Caesar pulled his wand out slowly, letting Emma down with a kiss on the nose, still holding her pressed to him. He transfigured his coat into a big pallet, and his button on his shirt into a big pillow. He needed a blanket for them. His eyes landed on her neck, where a white scarf hung loosely around her delicate throat. His hands moved up her shoulders slowly, his warm palms heating her upper arm and shoulder. His fingers wrapped around the fabric and he slipped it off, letting it tickle her neck. He leaned in and kissed her hard, yet strangely softly, then transfiguring that into a huge comforter for the pair of them.
He wrapped the blanket around her back, around him, squeezing her helplessly into him, holding it behind his back with one hand. He leaned down and kissed her head a few times, wrapping his hand over the outside of the blanket, then with his other, picking her up within the blanket. His eyes were on hers as he walked them over to the pallet.
Caesar laid her down gently on the makeshift bed, kissing her forehead, then crawled over the top of her. His hands roamed to her sides, feeling up to her arms on the side then back down. Leaning into a long and overdue kiss, his eyes closed instinctively. He leaned down into her more, his fingers roaming to her stomach, slipping under her shirt for a second and warming her skin underneath. His breaths became heavy, and his hair fell into his face when he pulled back from her lips. Pulling his left hand form her skin, he ran her hair away from her neck with a tender touch and slowly craned to plant air kisses along her collarbone that was exposed from her clothes, and down to the v-cut on her chest where the shirt exposed her fair skin, then back up to the other side.
"I've missed you every second since that night." He confessed with a break in his whisper, his nerves diminishing entirely. "I never want to hurt you like I did.." His hands went to her forearms and he traced their names into each arm, then roamed them up to her cheeks, caressing her gently.

Delphi's heart never stopped racing, as she was, against her will, set down. She clung tightly to him as he pressed a kiss to her nose.
The girl watched him create a makeshift bed, and her heart sped up. Caesar removed her scarf, and she shivered. He leaned in and kissed her hard, yet strangely softly, then transfiguring the scarf into a huge comforter for the pair of them. The blanket was wrapped around the two of them and she melted into his side. She hummed in happiness when he kissed her head and smiled again when he picked her up and laid her down on the pallet.
Caesar laid her down gently on the makeshift bed, kissing her forehead, then crawled over the top of her. Delphi's heart stopped. That was the only explanation. It was beating so fast. It had just froze. And not just her heart, but time froze all together. There, in that moment, nothing existed but the two of them, and their immediate surroundings. Her hand slipped up the back of his shirt while his explored her midsection. Every time his fingers flitted across her belly button her stomach lurched and she gasped for a breath. It tickled, and she was particularly sensitive there. The boy brought his head down and she met his lips half way, head easily lifting off of the single pillow.
Caesar's hand finally slipped under her shirt and she moaned slightly. Her hand made their way to his hair and gathered locks of it into her fists. Her chest pounded and her head grew foggy. She could feel his breaths growing heavier as his heaved against her own chest.
Pulling his left hand form her skin, Caesar ran her hair away from her neck with a tender touch, Delphi shuddered with her eyes closed. She felt it better with her eyes closed. She couldn't see what he was planning, or where he was moving to. A surprised but pleasured noise escaped her lips when she felt lips not only press against her collarbone, but trail down her neck to her partly exposed chest and then back up her other side. She smiled ran the tips of her finger's across the back of his neck, knowing it was a weak spot of his.
She chuckled. "You tease. You teasing Slytherin."
"I've missed you every second since that night." He confessed with a break in his whisper, his nerves diminishing entirely. "I never want to hurt you like I did.." His hands went to her forearms and he traced their names into each arm, then roamed them up to her cheeks, caressing her gently.
Delphi's heart ached for him. "It was my fault. I acted selfishly and I know it. I think I can fix everything, but I can barely manage to keep us okay." She shook her head with a weak smile. "I've had my priorities all wrong. But that changes tonight." She brought his face up to hers, but wiggled her body down lower and pressed her lips to his chest. Letting the warmth of his body warm her face.

The world was crashing down around Caesar. Foundations of buildings were crumbling, skies were darkening, and even the Whomping Willow beside the pair was dazed and abnormally still, swaying back and fourth as if dancing with someone. His mind was empty except for Emma, and his heart was thumping wildly at his ribs.
He wanted so much to continue their touching, kissing, hugging. He wanted to show her in every way how much he loved her. He wanted her voice to echo through his ears because of him, her gasping, her laughing. He wanted all of it and so much more. But how far would they be going tonight? This was a special occasion for him. It wasn't going to be make-up sex after their first huge fight. Oh no, it was going to be genuine and passionate, like all the great classic pieces of artwork and literature and movie in one moment.
He couldn't do it. The back of his neck tickled heavily as she brushed her fingertips along his skin. His eyes closed and he kissed her softly, nibbling on her lower lip gently, then pulling back to look into her eyes.
She chuckled. "You tease. You teasing Slytherin."
"Merlin knows how much I want this to go... but I can't do that to you." He confessed, a pout almost taking form on his lips. "We aren't ready for that, though every single fiber of my being wants us to be. You're so," he paused, looking for the appropriate word, "alluring. You call to me, and I listen intently." His voice was light and quiet, but full of charm like no other.
"It was my fault. I acted selfishly and I know it. I think I can fix everything, but I can barely manage to keep us okay." She shook her head with a weak smile. "I've had my priorities all wrong. But that changes tonight."
Caesar shook his head. "Selfishness is human nature. It takes the best of us at the worst times. Don't be hard on yourself. I was never mad at you, only for you. I felt like I couldn't get the point across and I was frustrated." He sighed. "My priorities have been right form the first moment I laid eyes on you." He kissed her nose gently, feeling her wiggle under him and kiss at his chest. His fingers tightened on the fabric of their blanket, and he moaned softly, biting his lower lip.
"Emma." He said hoarsely and deep, his eyes closing. "You don't know what you're doing to me." He snapped back into reality and wiggled down eye level to her, lifting her chin up and kissing her hard on the lips. "It feels so good- and I mean bloody good- to have you kiss me, but I don't think you're ready, and I am not either. I don't want this to be an impulse of the moment thing, where we're both helplessly falling in love with each other again after fighting, where we decide to give ourselves up. I want it to be romantic, because we truly want be become one, and I want it to be pure."
He rolled over to her side and grabbed her hand in his, tugging her to lay on his chest, his skin exposed more since she had been kissing him. He wrapped his arm around her comfortingly, pulled the covers up with his leg, and wrapped them both into a warm embrace, kissing her head softly, closing his eyes.
Sticking his hand up out of the covers, he pointed to a random assortment of stars and smiled to himself. "Look there." He said quietly. "See those?" He chuckled, his eyes looking down to her. "That's a constellation named Andromeda. She was a Princess of Ethiopia, daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopea. This was all from Greek Mythology. Her mother offended the gods by boasting that the girl was more beautiful than the Nereids. Poseidon in wrath sent a sea-monster to devour the girl. When she was chained to the rocks, the hero Perseus spied her, slew the beast, and carried her off as his wife. The gods as a memorial, set the whole family amongst the stars as constellations." He sighed and rested his arm under his head, rubbing her arm every so often.

"Merlin knows how much I want this to go... but I can't do that to you. We aren't ready for that, though every single fiber of my being wants us to be. You're so, alluring. You call to me, and I listen intently." His voice was light and quiet, but full of charm like no other.
"Merlin you are too good for me." She said in frustration. Any other man, any other Slytherin would not even have had a second thought." She grinned. "I guess I said yes to the right one." She purred into his ear.
Caesar shook his head. "Selfishness is human nature. It takes the best of us at the worst times. Don't be hard on yourself. I was never mad at you, only for you. I felt like I couldn't get the point across and I was frustrated." He sighed.
"As was I. And I handled so wrong. I have never been more ashamed of myself for how I acted and the things I said to you. It was wrong of me to question your loyalty, and your love for me. It was cruel." She admitted to him. Delphi had cursed herself with those words numerous times over the past week, and after getting to tell him, she sighed, breathing a little easier.
"My priorities have been right form the first moment I laid eyes on you." Delphi felt his grip tighten above her head and he let out a moan. She stopped moving. Perhaps she was pushing him too far. He had just said that they weren't ready, and he was right. Delphi loved him, but she really didn't want her first time to be after making up, and under the Whomping Willow. No, Delphi wanted it to be sweet and romantic. And so she would wait. Wait until he was ready. Until they both were ready. She relaxed and her heart beat slowed a bit. She hadn't realized now nervous she had been while expecting what now wouldn't come. On the other hand, she was so worked up that she didn't want to wait, but she would.
"Emma." He said hoarsely and deep, his eyes closing. "You don't know what you're doing to me." He wiggled down eye level to her, lifting her chin up and kissing her hard on the lips.
The Ravenclaw began crying softly in relief. "You called me Emma." She said pathetically, not elaborating. After all, he had called her Delphi on purpose. He knew what it would do to her. Never in all their time knowing each other had he called her Delphi. Not until that night.
She was nodding. "I understand." Delphi said hoarsely. "I want that too. I just- I am so happy to have you back again. I think I'm just afraid something will happen again and I won't get to show you how much you mean to me."
Caesar rolled over to her side and grabbed her hand in his, tugging her to lay on his chest, his skin exposed more since she had been kissing him.
Delphi smiled nervously, as if this was there first date again. She felt like one wrong move and he would walk away. All her insecurities from the beginning of their relationship years ago came flooding to her mind and body, threatening to smother her. But she muttered a banishing spell and lay her head on Caesars bare skin.
Caesar wrapped his arm around her comfortingly, pulled the covers up with his leg, and wrapped them both into a warm embrace, kissing her head softly. Delphi purred against him and looked up, her eyes following the direction he pointed.
She listened intently as he told the ancient story. Delphi had closed her eyes and was listening to, not only his voice, but the rumble from deep within his chest when he spoke. "I like that story." She muttered. Caesar sighed and rested his arm under his head, rubbing her arm every so often.
Delphi smiled, "I think you should tell me another one." She giggled, rubbing her fingers across his chest. It didn't matter to her if he were the one telling the story, if he made it her turn. She just wanted them to keep talking. Her mind drifted back to their fight, and she unconsciously clung tighter to him, scarred he would disappear and she would wake up in her bed alone.

The Ravenclaw began crying softly. Caesar's eyes were wide in terror, wondering if he had done anything to hurt her. What had he said?
"You called me Emma." She said pathetically. After all, he had called her Delphi on purpose. He knew what it would do to her. Never in all their time knowing each other had he called her Delphi. Not until that night.
His hands gripped at her tighter, his smile coming back but then fading quick. "It felt so weird calling you that- I don't know why. I think it was a subconscious thing- that I separated myself from you at that point." His chest rose and fall gently with her head now on it. "I do know that it'll never happen again."
"I like that story." She muttered. Delphi smiled, "I think you should tell me another one." She traced her fingers across his stomach and his body became warm. His cheeks were a deep red, and he gasped at her touch.
"As you wish, dear." He chucked, raking his brain for more stories to tell her. He searched the sky and found another one.
"There." He chuckled, pointing with his fingers south of the first constellation. "You like Ancient Runes, so here's a good one. This constellation represents the Lernaean Hydra, slain by Hercules as his second labor. The Hydra was a multi-headed monster--according to Diodorus, it had a hundred heads. Simonides said it had fifty. The most common opinion, however, is that it had nine. Whenever one of its heads was chopped off, two would grow in its place. Hercules managed to get around this rather major obstacle by having his nephew, Iolaus, cauterize each stump with a hot iron as soon as Hercules could chop off a head. The hero then buried the heads under a rock. The task was made somewhat more difficult by Juno, who sent a crab to nip at the feet of Hercules while he battled the Hydra."
Caesar grinned down to her and leaned in to kiss her forehead, lifting off his resting hand to turn her face up so he could kiss her lightly. He laid back down and sighed heavily. "I could tell you all about them. Muggle Mythology is so interesting." He admitted with a sheepish smile.

Delphi squeezed closer to Caesar as he apologized. "It felt so weird to hear." She whispered with a sniffle. "I think I never want to hear that name again. It nearly broke me. I hate it. So so much.
"As you wish, dear." Caesar chucked.
"Yay!" Delphi wiggled around in giddiness as she smiled a bit more confidently. She listened in awe as he told her another tale. Caesar's family was clearly more cultured than her own. Her father had never done much with her. Delphi had practically been raised by a House Elf. And everything she had learned about that made her into the "perfect Pure Blood" daughter came from the "lectures" her father gave her on a weekly basis. That was about as far as her fatherly contact went.
Delphi frowned at the end of his story. "So rude. Always sad stories." She shook her head.
"It is!" She admitted with a wide grin. Caesar would never admit that to anyone other then her. Probably not even to his sister. "My turn!" She sung out in a high pitched voice. Not too bad either.
"Hmmmm." She drug out, her eyes searching the night skies. "That one!" She pointed a random group of stars above them. "The Feathered Doves. Only they weren't your average doves. One had feathers greener then the forest floor. The female- her feathers were bluer then the sky above. Never before had a Green Feathered Dove and a Blue Feathered Dove been together. They just didn't work together. But that all changed you see. The Green Feathered Dove spread his wings and flew to the Blue Feathered Dove, who had liked the Green Feathered Dove for a long time, and asked her to defy the odds, and fly away with him. She, of course, left with out a second thought. All the other Blue Feathered Dove's thought her crazy, and said it would never work." Delphi's voice dropped. "After a particular bad disagreement about how to go about things, as each had different views based on their feather color, the Blue Feathered Dove began to feel that her housemates- I mean other Blue Feathered Doves, may have been right. She didn't eat her favorite snacks for weeks, years, centuries. And then something happened. She had a nightmare. A terrible awful nightmare. Thats when she knew that he had been wrong. She sought out her beloved Green Feathered Dove, and put things right. He took her back and for the rest of their days they remained together. Raising little baby Doves and watching over their babies babies." She finished, but with a final thought, she added, "Oh! And so the Gods put them in the stars so they could watch over future Green Feathered Doves and Blue Feathered Doves that became couples." It was jumbled and unorganized, but a story nonetheless.
Delphi grinned at her elaborate made up story that resembled her relationship with Caesar, but trying to make it sound like one of his, being sure to add the Gods. She tilted her head to look up at his less then convinced face.
"What?" She said innocently. "All those stories are sad and depressing. I had to make one that actually had a happy ending." Delphi turned her head to kiss his chest, as her head was to low to press her lips to his.

Caesar's eyes closed as he listened to her talk. As she went on about the doves, he stifled a few giggles and laughs, not wanting to ruin the mood or her perfect story-telling voice. His hand grasped tighter on her arm, realizing that what he held in his arms was indeed a rare and gentle Blue Feathered Dove. They were endangered and required a lot of TLC, but this Green Feathered Dove was going to spend the rest of his life providing that and a lot more. Caesar's mind drifted off into the future as she finished up, dreaming of their house. A bowl of fresh, glistening, cold raspberries laid out on the table, Emma buried in Caesar's chest, her cheeks full of her favorite fruit. Through the window, you could see dark haired children with flawless, fair skin running around with their Sunday best on. Two girls and a boy in this dream. They were shouting at each other about cooties while one of the girls' hair was focused on. It was a deep red, while contrasting, her eyes were a vivid blue. His vision panned back to the room where the five of them were on the couch asleep, the red haired little one was under Caesar's other arm, the little boy in the middle, and the black haired girl laying on Emma's lap. Their family was perfect. Their life was perfect. Nothing needed changing. The Slytherin's eyes shot open finally, a huge smile on his face, his heart beating ninety to nothing. "What?" She said innocently. "All those stories are sad and depressing. I had to make one that actually had a happy ending." Delphi turned her head to kiss his chest. He snorted softly and rested himself again, relaxing. "Nothing, nothing at all. That was just something I never learned about the constellations." He smirked, running his hand through her hair as she kissed his chest. He gasped lightly and goosebumps took over his arms. "It must have been the story I missed." He winked playfully, his muscles tensing as she brushed her lips against his warm skin. Her lips were cold, but it seemed to put him to ease. He purred deeply and let her kiss his skin, tracing hearts into her shoulders as she pressed against him. "Your story beat mine." He admitted, defeat in his voice. "I surrender." He grinned, bright eyes locking on hers.

Delphi noticed her boyfriend zone out. She smacked his chest playfully. "What are thinking about? You were supposed to be listening!" She teased.
Caesar snorted softly and rested himself again, relaxing. "Nothing, nothing at all. That was just something I never learned about the constellations."
The Ravenclaw faked a snobby air about her, but offsetting it dramatically with her attempt to hold back a smile. "Well you wouldn't. It's very secret. I could be kicked out of the Super Secret Club if anyone ever found out I told you." She continued with her story. She tried to hold back a giggle with her hand.
Icy chills ran through Delphi's body when she felt Caesar's hand in her hair. She missed that feeling so much. She didn't realize just how much she missed it until now, and her heart threatened to break when she though back to all those times over the past week she could have used his support. She sighed unconsciously. Delphi heard a light gasped and smirked lightly.
"It must have been the story I missed."
The girl laughed before looking up at Caesar. With another attempt at seriousness, she said, "Oh most definitely. I know how you doze off during class." She grinned, wrinkling her nose.
While Delphi tried to make up for a weeks worth of missed kisses, Caesar rubbed hearts on her skin. Goosebumps left a defined trail from where his skin met hers. At that moment, she vowed she would never speak to Caesar in the way she had early ever again. Caesar deserved so much more then how she had acted. he deserved respect and stability. She knew better then to act that way. She knew how he would react. And worse of all she knew that she would get no where with her words. Once Caesar had his mind made up, especially when it came to security, there was no changing his mind. Especially not when the way she had tried.
"Your story beats mine." He admitted, defeat in his voice. "I surrender." He grinned, bright eyes locking on hers.
The girl smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Mmmm. I like the sound of you surrendering." She growled like a predator ready to attack her pray, and with agile movements, closed the gap between her mouth and his.

She smacked his chest playfully. "What are thinking about? You were supposed to be listening!" She teased.
Caesar was startled somewhat, but he laughed as she smacked him, an 'oof' escaping. "Oh, just about the future." If that wasn't vague, he didn't know what was. "About our future." He emphasized the 'our' and smiled down to her, leaning over to kiss her forehead lightly before laying back down.
"Well you wouldn't. It's very secret. I could be kicked out of the Super Secret Club if anyone ever found out I told you." She tried to hold back a giggle with her hand.
The Slytherin's hand raised to hers, and he pulled it off her lips, replacing it with his own lips. Deepening their kiss, he rolled back on top of her and grinned, breaking it only to breathe, and look into her eyes. "You are a hassle." He winked, sitting up on her stomach, his legs curling up beside her, resting his elbows on his knees as he peered down at her. "But I love you. And- what is this club?" A smirk snaked across his lips as he extended a hand to poke at her nose. "I'm sure they could live without you. Plus," he tapped his chin thoughtfully, "I could have more time with you, without club meetings and such. So I win both ways!"
With another attempt at seriousness, she said, "Oh most definitely. I know how you doze off during class." She grinned, wrinkling her nose.
Caesar raised a hand to his heart and shook his head, stunned. "I am offended. I stay awake and try really hard in class. I can't believe you." He buried his face into his hands and shook it back and fourth. "Right when I thought you had stopped being rude." But he couldn't take it, so he pulled his hands apart and made a silly face at her, grinning afterwards.
"Mmmm. I like the sound of you surrendering." She growled like a predator.
Once she kissed him, Caesar broke apart their lips, upset as he may have felt for it, for a moment. He let out a fake growl and winked, crawling back onto his knees and laying over her, leaning into the kiss again with a slowly rising passion, his hands finding hers and weaving in-between the spaces in her fingers.
