Simone glanced away and blushed when Aeric called her perfect. It was moments like these that she valued the most. Memories. That's what life was made of. Material objects were great, but what really mattered were those moments in life that took your breath away, and Simone already foresaw many moments like that with Aeric. They danced close and she smiled up at him. "You're perfect." She said with a slight slur and rubbed her nose against his with her eyes scrunched up together. Her eyes lit up.
"Tell me, Mister Calemund," she said, trying to sound serious, "how does one become to perfect?" She spun away from him before gliding back to his arms, a smile on her face. "There has to be some secret." She winked.
"Jogging? Maybe I could join you some day!" Simone suggested, not sure if she would regret it later- her mind was fogged. Mostly because of her company of course. And she was just fine with that. The music picked up and they danced faster with the music. Simone found herself getting more and more clumsy, which resulted in more and more laughing. The Gryffindor seemed to skip over to the drink table where she found more drinks like the one Aeric had grabbed, and she downed another one.
"I never thought alcohol could be so," she searched for the right word, "intoxicating." Simone laughed at her silly joke. The drinks weren't the only things that were intoxicating. Aeric had won her over as quickly as he had said hello to her. She had always had a little thing for him, but the two hadn't said more then five words to the other. However, that didn't seem to matter. Simone thought they seemed to fit together quite nicely. Well, at least for now. But now, everything seemed perfect. She wondered if their feelings would remain once they were sober. Her eyes scanned the room and she saw a girl, surprisingly a Hufflepuff, going around the room dancing with different guys, alone or not. Simone narrowed her eyes and then snorted. "I would kill her." She said to Aeric, but keeping a watchful eye on the female.
Aeric's hand wrapped around hers and she turned her head to focus on him, his lips turned into a smile that she soon matched. He whispered in her ear and she giggled, his breath tickling her soft skin and goosebumps picked up on her arms. With his other hands, he swept up for bottles and winked to her. Simone gasped.
"Aeric!" She said scandalously. He was motioning for the door and Simone lit up. "Nothing wrong with more privacy. I can keep you safe and to myself." She walked past him, pulling him along until they got to the door and she moved her hand to wrap around his waist. The smaller girl sighed and rested her head on Aeric as they walked under the moonlight.
"I certainly did not expect tonight to end like this," Her eyes trailed up to meet his, "but I'm so glad it did." She confessed with a whisper, ducking her head. Simone heard something off in the distance and her eyes snapped to the moon. A sly grin crept onto her face.
"The werewolves have come out to play." She laughed and pulled away from him, dancing and spinning in circles ahead of him a few steps. She stopped and acted like she was sneaking up on him, though completely in front of him. Once she got to him she walked her fingers up his chest and tapped his nose. "I won't let them get to you." She giggled and took off running.
"Catch me if you can!" She yelled over her shoulder while laughing loudly. Tonight was proving to be fun. She let the breeze run through her hair as her arms spread out. She was running towards the lake, but she wouldn't make it. Her foot caught air and she tumbled to the ground with a yelp. She froze for a moment, but then rolled onto her back, laughing and clutching her stomach. After a moment her arms spread out.
"I love the nights sky," she sighed with a smile, "it's so calming, and honest in way. It can't lie to you, or be fake. What you see is what you get." Simone leaned over Aeric and grabbed herself one of the bottles, laying back down on the grass.
