"I can't wait to tell him!" Rhye grinned and gave Ophelia a kiss before hugging her and turning, bolting down the halls towards his common room. He had a plan. A big plan. With a few waves, he bypassed a few friends once he entered his commons, raced up the steps, tripped (but he got up quite quickly), and rushed inside the dorm room.
He took a huge breath and folded over on his knees. He looked up from his hairline and tried to sort out his friend, Lyric, from the few still-sleeping boys. He raised his head and straightened out. Rhye wiped the newly formed sweat from his brow and walked over each bed, eyes narrowing on a head of shaggy blonde-brown hair splayed out against a pillow. He grinned and took a few steps before leaping on him, laying on top of the boy, a laugh escaping.
"Lyric," he cooed, "Lyric, wake up! I have great news!" He said louder, rolling over to sit on the other side, facing his best friend. "LYRIC!" He growled playfully and pushed against the heavy-sleeper, furrowing his brow. "Wake up or I am going to push you off this damn bed." He said with as much of a straight voice as he could. He gave him a few moments with no response and he sighed. Flopping onto his friends' legs, he shut his eyes. "Lyric, I'm doing you a huge favor and you are sleeping." He turned his head to the quiet boy as he noticed him stirring a bit. "Oh, this is so like you." He laughed, "You would rather sleep than talk to a pretty girl."
When he finally awoke, Rhye sat up and turned completely to him with an innocent look. "Hi." He chuckled, waving his fingers in a girly wave. "Like I was screaming about earlier," he huffed in fake annoyance, "I have important news for you."

Sleep. Finally, a good nights sleep. He hadn't slept in so long- what with missing his family and all. The twins birthday was today, and he was missing it. Again. He hated that their birthdays where when he couldn't be with them. But it was okay, Lyric always through them a special birthday party when he got back for the summer. He was dreaming of all his sisters when he felt his body bounce upwards- he registered it only lightly.
"Lyric," he cooed, "Lyric, wake up! I have great news!" He said louder. Lyric groaned and pulled up his sheets to his neck and buried in further.
"Dammit Rhye, go away!" He growled and pushed his friend backwards. Lyric began snoring lightly.
"LYRIC!" Rhye growled playfully and pushed against Lyric. "Wake up or I am going to push you off this damn bed." Lyric growled but then smirked. Using his feet and strength, he quickly tumbled Rhye over the other side of the bed and onto the floor.
"Push you of this damn bed..." he smirked.
"Lyric, I'm doing you a huge favor and you are sleeping." Lyric inwardly rolled his eyes. He was wide awake now, but annoying Rhye was more fun. "Oh, this is so like you. You would rather sleep than talk to a pretty girl." Lyric grimaced. He didn't want to talk about girls. Especially not for him. He was perfectly fine being single to be honest.
"Do you have a death wish?" He grunted, flipping forward and pushing Rhye to the bed, pinning all his limbs down as he struggled. Lyric rolled off the bed with him, his back hitting the ground, and as Rhye struggled to get away from him, moving to the center of the room, Lyric smirked and jumped forward, grabbing Rhye's ankle as they wrestled some more. Finally, Rhye had Lyric pinned, as it usually ended, and Lyric grumbled in defeat.
"Hi." Rhye chuckled, waving his fingers in a girly wave. "Like I was screaming about earlier, I have important news for you."
Lyric rolled his eyes and rested his arms behind his head. "Rhye, those words coming from your mouth is like the trumpets signaling the end of the world." He shook his head. "Give me your worst."Sleep. Finally, a good nights sleep. He hadn't slept in so long- what with missing his family and all. The twins birthday was today, and he was missing it. Again. "Dammit Rhye, go away!" He growled and pushed his friend backwards. Rhye chuckled and snorted at the same time. He was bemused! Here Rhye was trying to set him up, and he was wanting to sleep. Blasphemy!
"No! I have someone I want you to meet. But you're about to meet both my fists if you don't wake up!" He growled playfully, again, shoving against his sleepy friend.
Rhye was playing around when he was flat on the floor, a barely audible: "Push you of this damn bed..." rung in his ear. He growled and shook his head. "Do you have a death wish?" Lyric was awake. He grunted, flipping forward and pushing Rhye to the bed, pinning all his limbs down as he struggled. Lyric rolled off the bed with him, his back hitting the ground, and as Rhye struggled to get away from him, moving to the center of the room, Lyric smirked and jumped forward, grabbing Rhye's ankle as they wrestled some more.
Rhye let out a scream as he was grabbed by the ankle. He grinned though as he came down on his bum, leaning forwards to grip and pull on Lyric's pants as a sturdy weight. The two wrestled again, flipping as the other would take a pin. He crawled over his friend at the last minute and constricted his arms and legs for a brief moment as he cooled his breathing.
Finally, Rhye had Lyric pinned, as it usually ended, and Lyric grumbled in defeat. Rhye flashed him a cheeky grin and nodded. "Glad you gave up. I was so almost out of breath." He winked, punching his friend lightly in the stomach. Rhye explained to him the need for a conversation- he had news.
Lyric rolled his eyes and rested his arms behind his head. "Rhye, those words coming from your mouth is like the trumpets signaling the end of the world." He shook his head. "Give me your worst."
With a questionable raise of his brow, Rhye snorted. "This is far from the end of the world. Actually, this might be the start of a whole, new, beautiful world just for you." He winked, sitting beside his friend now that they had calmed down. "My worst? Oh, no, Lyric," he beamed, "this is the best." With a calming sigh, Rhye leaned against the bed behind him and crossed his ankles, closing his eyes for a second.
"So, there is this girl. Ophelia and I are mutually friends with her," he grinned, eying his pal. Rhye knew that Lyric's only female loves were his sisters and mum, but, with Rhye's help- Lyric might have a fifth love. "She is.... extremely pretty. A seventh year Hufflepuff. She's lonely, according to Ophelia, but she is reluctant and too nervous to be out in the whole relationship scene." Rhye nodded happily, his hands extending. "That is where you come in."
The Ravenclaw's hand ran through his own hair before landing in a smack on his friend's arm. "You and her are going on a date." He wiggled his eyebrows. He had learned that from Ophelia a while ago. "It's set up. I won't tell you anything more about her because it would ruin the surprise. But needless to say.... I think you may find yourself with a new little love." Rhye beamed happily, judging his reaction. "So, what do you think? The girl is nervous but excited, apparently, to meet you. Ophelia didn't tell her anything about you, either."
