Ophelia froze, a little terrified when Rhye's jaw dropped. She couldn't help but fear that she had freaked him out to the core. But a slow, small smile spread across her face when he spoke, "Are you... are you serious?" Rhye asked, a big smile on his face.
She smiled so widely you could see most of her teeth. "I have never been more serious about anything, or anyone, in my entire life; probably in any of my lives." Her face and voice had taken on a very serious tone. "I love you, and I vow to give you my everything. I want you to be the person I grow old with, the one who- who fathers my children and helps me raise them to be just like you. You are my sunshine when there is no sun at all. The world is dark- it's empty when you aren't with me. It's but a gloomy place that follows me around. And then you," She smiled, "You, my love, walk into the room, and the sky is bright again, the sun shines and all the shadows recede to nothing." A tear slid down her eyes and she ignored it. Maybe he wouldn't notice.
"You know.. I have no objections. Or maybe we can get engaged and marry after School ends?" Rhye shrugged.
Ophelia frowned just slightly. She was sure she was being ridiculous, but the light shoulder shrug confused her. She loved, loved, loved, what he said. But the way he said it through it off. So she remained quiet.
"I'm completely serious." Rhye's hands went to her cheeks and he kissed her repeatedly, grinning against her lips. Ophelia grinned against his delicately delicious skin, giving his lips a playful lick.
"Mmmm. Yummy." She said loudly and causing her body to shake with giggles.
The Ravenclaw laughed, smiling. He pulled his leg over her and sat down beside her, grabbing the basket and handing it to her. Ophelia sat up beside her Ravenclaw boyfriend, leaning her shoulder against his, and breathed in the scented aromas with her eyes closed. She thought back to the days when she would wake her little brother up with the smell of a basket full of food, and she would drag him outside for a picnic by their lake. Those were the days when it was just the two of them, and they could bond. She loved her little brother, and he looked up to her so much.
"What did you bring?" Rhye grinned, eying the basket hungrily. Ophelia smirked, opening the box and looking around.
Ophelia frowned, looking up at Rhye. "I forgot to pack food for you. I must have gotten sidetracked and packed only food for me." She looked at him in concern for a few moments. "You can just eat what I brought."
The corners of her mouth twitched and slowly loosened into a smile. "I'm kidding. I could never."
She began pulling all of his favorite breakfast and even a few lunch foods out. "I couldn't decide what to bring you, so I brought," She blushed, "Well I actually made all of your favorites." She shrugged nonchalantly, although that was exactly opposite of how she felt. "I used to cook all the time, and I don't want to forget how. I managed to convince the House Elves to let me."
"Well, I guess I didn't ask it in that way. They always want to help, and you know how they like the two of us, so I asked them to help do something. They fell over themselves to help." She frowned and looked up at Rhye with her eyebrows nit together. "You know, I have my House Elf , Toppy, but she is older, and she wasn't afraid to refuse us. But here, they are just so happy to help. I hate having that kind of power over them. It makes me think of how my brother tries to control me." She shook her head sadly. "But anyways, when I asked they were all for helping, and so I asked them to let me use the kitchen to for you. Baby," She smiled widely, "I love cooking! One day, I hope to have a wonderful kitchen one day. Where I can spend hours cooking," Her eyes lit up spectacularly, "Or brew! I can cook elaborate meals, and I can experiment with recipe's!" Her eyes were practically glazed over with the visions of her in the future in a large kitchen with children ranging from the age of twelve to two. She couldn't wait until her house was full of children stomping around, and being loud and having every other kid in the neighborhood over.
"How many children do you want to have?" She seemed to ask randomly, not even thinking that the question might not be too well received by her Ravenclaw Pretty Boy.

And then you," She smiled, "You, my love, walk into the room, and the sky is bright again, the sun shines and all the shadows recede to nothing."
"You don't give me your everything. We share what we both have. The only thing I want from you is your heart, and you can have mine. Just keep it well protected, out of the rain, and don't drop it." He grinned sheepishly, running a hand through his hair slowly. "I want to raise a family with you, grow old with you, and make your day's better too." He saw a tear fall down her cheek, his hand instantly moving to catch it and swipe it away. "No need for crying, baby." He said softly, bringing her into a tight hug with his hands holding her lower back and head. He hummed softly. "You part my worries. When I'm with you, all my past troubles have left me." He thought of his friends and then he thought of his new earring. He couldn't help but grin. He felt great.
"Mmmm. Yummy." Rhye couldn't help but blush slightly.
"I forgot to pack food for you. I must have gotten sidetracked and packed only food for me." She looked at him in concern for a few moments. "You can just eat what I brought." The corners of her mouth twitched and slowly loosened into a smile. "I'm kidding. I could never."
Rhye's eyes widened then fell. He laughed softly and playfully bumped her shoulder with his own, leaning into her carelessly. "I'll just have to eat you, then." He shook his head. "That is the only solution."
She began pulling all of his favorite breakfast and even a few lunch foods out. "I couldn't decide what to bring you, so I brought," She blushed, "Well I actually made all of your favorites." She shrugged nonchalantly. "I used to cook all the time, and I don't want to forget how. I managed to convince the House Elves to let me."
Rhye listened as she went on about the House Elves letting her cook and helping her prepare his meal. He was listening for the most part, but his mind was set on other, more important things. He was going to marry this girl. He would be sure of it. But how would he do it? How would he propose? He remembered something in the back of his mind. When she stopped talking, he smiled and added his two cents on the helpful House Elves and then his finger popped up.
"Wait. I have a question." He started, smiling happily. "My Mum OWL'ed me a while ago. She said that for their anniversary this year, they would be going out of town for a couple of weeks. It will be after the Championship, and after the Yule Ball and everything. It'll be right around when School is nearing for the year, actually." He grinned, noting how perfect this was. "Would you like to come see the vineyard? I really, really want to show it to you." He couldn't help but send her a puppy dog face, his bottom lip folding over. "Please. It'll just be you and me, and when they come back, you can meet them for certain."
Rhye thought about it slowly. "You'd love my place," he paused, a huge grin on his face, "when you come, I'll show you the kitchen we have. The ceilings are high and so are the counters. It's super pretty and homely, you'll fit right into it." He smiled. He noticed that he had said 'when you come', not 'if you come'. Maybe she'd take the hint.
"How many children do you want to have?" She seemed to ask randomly.
The Ravenclaw looked into her eyes, searching for his own answer it seemed. "Children?" He coughed, taking her hand. "I don't care as long as they don't take up my time with you." He added sweetly, batting his eyelashes. "But really, I'm comfortable with three." He said simply. "One would make them too lonely, two is perfect, three is just better." He grinned. He hadn't ever planned on multiple children, but if they agreed on more, then he would be more than happy to help her.

Rhye's eyes widened then fell when Ophelia mentioned the lack of food. He laughed softly and playfully bumped her shoulder with his own, leaning into her carelessly. "I'll just have to eat you, then." He shook his head. "That is the only solution."
Ophelia's eyebrows shot into her hairline. "Is that so?" She wiggled her eyes playfully and licked her lips seductively, enjoying teasing her boyfriend, seeing how much she could make him blush. She loved when he blushed, it was so adorable.
She wasn't surprised when Rhye's hand raised to cut her off about her House Elf rambling.
"Would you like to come see the vineyard? I really, really want to show it to you." Rhye couldn't help but send her a puppy dog face, his bottom lip folding over. "Please. It'll just be you and me, and when they come back, you can meet them for certain."
When Rhye explained that his parents would be gone, and that she could join him, she practically jumped into his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Really?" She smiled broadly. There was nothing she wanted more then to stay with Rhye at the home where he grew up. She was sad she wouldn't get to meet his parents, but she would one day. And at least now she wouldn't get too stressed about it.
"You'd love my place," he paused, a huge grin on his face, "when you come, I'll show you the kitchen we have. The ceilings are high and so are the counters. It's super pretty and homely, you'll fit right into it." He smiled.
She grinned. "Why Mister Alexendre, are you saying I would fit right into your home?" She tried to make him blush again, but in turn blushing herself at his particular choice of words. She thought about being a wife and mother with a home to care for. Her mother had never been that sort of woman, and she would have no examples to follow, but she was smart and she was confident that she would be able to figure it out. After all, she had practically raised Duncan. She gasped quietly.
"Duncan." She muttered without realizing it. How would she ever be allowed to leave and go somewhere on her own? Finley would never let her stay with her 'Mudblood' boyfriend. She bit her lip hard enough in worry that she drew blood. Ophelia took a deep breath and leaned into Rhye's chest. She skin feeling nice on her exposed parts.
"What if Finley doesn't let me?" She hated that man, and she considered simply lying to him. She would have to come up with something of course.
"Children?" Rhye coughed, taking her hand. "I don't care as long as they don't take up my time with you." Rhye added sweetly, batting his eyelashes.
Ophelia smiled slightly. She hoped he would feel differently once they had children. She didn't want him to see a baby as merely something that would take away his time.
"But really, I'm comfortable with three." He said simply. "One would make them too lonely, two is perfect, three is just better."
Ophelia scoffed playfully, pulling her food out while still sitting on Rhye's lap. She began feeding him part of his favorite breakfast treat.
"Happy with three? I want a minimum of three." She laughed and continued to eat.

"Duncan." She muttered without realizing it. Ophelia took a deep breath and leaned into Rhye's chest. "What if Finley doesn't let me?"
Rhye's eyes narrowed, like that of a cat when it was stalking its prey. He felt a growl start to vibrate against his lungs and vocal chords, but he coughed it off and kept his cool. "I'm sure you could reason with him and convince him you were taking a trip with one of your friends." He smiled. "And Duncan can come too. He'd love the big fields and the rooms, plus the little arcade area with darts and such. I could see him not wanting to leave." Rhye chuckled. "You wouldn't be lying, now would you?" He grimaced at the thought of her brother ruining his plan. He wouldn't let that happen. Not on his watch.
"Happy with three? I want a minimum of three." She laughed and continued to eat.
Rhye nodded, shrugging. "I've never imagined a big family. I didn't grow up with one, obviously, so I'm used to quiet and orderly meals, vacations, etc." He sighed. "Having ten kids would cause a ruckus, and I'm not sure I could handle myself with ten of you running around."
He took a bite of an apple she handed him smiling. "It's just like home." He sighed, nibbling on the fruit some more. Rhye missed his home, but that was nothing new.
"Why Mister Alexendre, are you saying I would fit right into your home?" She tried to make him blush again.
Rhye scoffed, grinning. "Yes, I am Miss Ophelia." He nodded matter-of-factly, shrugging. "What? Is that a bad thing? I didn't mean it like that." He defended himself in case she was unsure about what he meant. "You like cooking and kitchens and the whole environment. You'd like mine. It's got enough room for ten kids to run through." He winked.

"I'm sure you could reason with him and convince him you were taking a trip with one of your friends." Rhye smiled.
Ophelia shrugged. "It's more complicated then that. He thinks he can mend our relationship and that if he's sweet enough...that's it!" She grinned maliciously. "I'll pretend like he's starting to gain my trust back, and tell him that I need to think about some things and that I'm going to take Duncan and...well don't worry. I have it all planned out." Her wheels were turning as she imagined the letter she would send.
"And Duncan can come too. He'd love the big fields and the rooms, plus the little arcade area with darts and such. I could see him not wanting to leave."
She was so touched that he seemed to care about her brother and about what he would like and enjoy. She leaned back against him. "You're going to be a great dad you know. We can go on picnic's and vacations and to the beach, and all around the world! They'll be so smart and cultured. Just like their father." Delphi shook her head vigorously. She couldn't keep her mind off of the subject of kids. It was weird. Must be the hormones. She blushed in embarrassment.
Ophelia mirrored Rhye's shrug. "Maybe you're right." She muttered. She would love to have five kids running around, but in the world they were in, maybe only have one or two would be safer. Maybe not having any at all would be more fair. "It's not fair to bring kids into a world like this."
"It's just like home." Rhye sighed, nibbling on the fruit some more.
"Now I have something to look forward to." She smiled, pulling out a heated plate of eggs, bacon, and hash browns.
Rhye scoffed, grinning. "Yes, I am Miss Ophelia." He nodded matter-of-factly, shrugging. "What? Is that a bad thing? I didn't mean it like that."
Ophelia tilted her head sideways. "Mean it like what?" She chuckled around a large bite of eggs. Ophelia was completely oblivious to the woman stereotype.
"You like cooking and kitchens and the whole environment. You'd like mine. It's got enough room for ten kids to run through." He winked.
"I can't wait! First weekend I'm there, I'm going to make you something wonderful!" Ophelia fed him a forkful of scrambled eggs, a completely contempt smile playing on her lips.

I have it all planned out."
Rhye didn't really understand all that she was talking about, but she was the master- he'd let her do it. "I understand. I'll just stay quiet and let you do all the work." He grinned, his eyes locking on hers. He felt up at his earring once more, his heart melting a little more by the second.
"You're going to be a great dad you know. We can go on picnic's and vacations and to the beach, and all around the world! They'll be so smart and cultured. Just like their father." Ophelia shook her head vigorously.
He could only gasp audibly, catching his breath at her words. He grinned as he leaned into a heavy, passionate kiss. He spoke through breaks in his kiss with her, almost disrupted by his moans. "I could only hope to be a great dad like you imagine." He steadied his hand on the back of her head, kissing down to her collarbone and back up, stealing a torn piece of toast with his free hand. He winked at her and pulled back, stuffing the evidence into his mouth. "You'll be the loveliest mother- they'll love you so much more. I'll end up being the bad guy." He laughed, rubbing the back of his neck as he took a sip of tea.
Ophelia mirrored Rhye's shrug. "Maybe you're right." She muttered. "It's not fair to bring kids into a world like this."
His eyes widened and he shook his head. "No, no. I don't mean I don't want them. I do, I really do." He defended himself and kissed her gently, resting his forehead against hers. "I would love to raise and give my heart to a clone of us, with your personality and humor with my laughing and big heart.." He sighed happily, thinking about what their kids might act like. "You and I, our kids, they will be taken care of. This world will not get the better of them. I won't let anything happen to them." He kissed her harder, showing his determination. "I'll give my life for you and our yet to be children if it ever came down to it." He swore up and down, his eyes serious. "The only thing I could do more than love you is love our children with the same intensity and promise."
"Mean it like what?" She chuckled around a large bite of eggs.
Rhye giggled and shook his head. "Nothing, nothing." He teased, kissing her nose as she chewed on her meal. He took another sip of his drink, his eyes never leaving hers. "And I would be happy if you'd make me a meal in our future kitchen." He beamed, his heart fluttering. "You can give me a sneak peak of what will be to come once we're married." He winked playfully, making a purring noise in his throat.
