"So you liked it?" She asked with a grin.
Rhye shook his head. "No, I absolutely loved it. Just like I love you!" He kissed her shoulders again and leaned up to kiss her mouth once more, lightly this time. He couldn't believe that she was his, for now and for forever. He loved her so much and he had known she'd be important from the first time they met in his spot. Their spot.
Ophelia smiled brightly, getting up on her knees and slipped the rope like chain over his head.
The young Ravenclaw smiled widely, his fingers going to feel the medallion that hung around his neck now. "It's amazing." He whispered, his fingers walking up her side as she sat in his lap. He could feel the necklace heating up a bit, meaning that she was thinking of him. The light started to reflect on the silver, his eyes widening. "Are you thinking about me?" He winked, biting his lip while he gazed into her eyes.
She was an angel. An angel that had fallen down from Heaven into his lap, at this very moment. He was so excited to have her in his life, and before he even knew he was capable of giving so much love, he had invested everything into Ophelia and his future life he would have with her.
"Ahh, finally decide to bring it up?" She asked playfully. She wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a light kiss on his lips before pulling back and looking into his eyes. "I'm not bothered by it."
Rhye blushed hard, smiling. "Yeah, I figured me being topless and on my back gave you a great view of my tattoo." He smiled sheepishly. "When I was younger, my friends and I used to love the Celtic symbols and how intricate they were." He sighed, his chest hurting at the thought of his dream. He took a heavy, deep breath and nodded. "Well, we all wanted to get matching symbols." He frowned. "So, it happened. I got mine on the Summer of my fifth year back at home." He shrugged. "Its silly, but its a vow I didn't want to break, especially after what happened."
Rhye grabbed at his chest, his eyes closing. "It's a back story that I figured you should know." He smiled, kissing her hand softly.

"No, I absolutely loved it. Just like I love you!" Rhye kissed her shoulders again and leaned up to kiss her mouth once more, lightly this time.
Ophelia smiled against his lips. She loved it when he told her he loved her. It made her feel light and fuzzy. Like she was an untouchable soul.
"It's amazing." Rhye whispered, his fingers walking up her side as she sat in his lap. "Are you thinking about me?" He winked, biting his lip while he gazed into her eyes.
"What have I told you about biting your lip?" She joked. "Keep it up and I'll have to help you." Ophelia smiled, remembering when she had first said that to him. She snuggled closer to him, burrowing her face in his neck. "Rhye, I always think about you. Always. If it's ever cold, then I'm either dead or in danger- no strike that. If I was in danger, all I would be thinking about is you." She joked lightly.
"Yeah, I figured me being topless and on my back gave you a great view of my tattoo." He smiled sheepishly.
"Mmmm. Gave me a great view of some other things too." She wiggled her eyebrows playfully. "I should visit you in the mornings more often." She laughed, her voice ringing through the air.
"Its silly, but its a vow I didn't want to break, especially after what happened."
"It's not silly." She said, her forehead still resting burrowed into his neck. "It makes me more proud of you. It means you understand the value of friendship, and family. It tells me that you know how to keep a commitment. And it makes me respect and love you so much more. I hope our sons turn out as wonderful as you."
Ophelia couldn't decide rather or not to tell him about her oddly shaped birthmark. Of course, it wasn't too terribly detailed, but it was detailed, and it was obviously a wizarding birthmark. Most true ancient wizarding families had them. A traditional birthmark that represented an ancient and noble house. It was a way to ensure fidelity. She decided that she would tell him...maybe. At least not until after breakfast. Well, if he didn't find it first that is.

Rhye frowned, holding her face with one hand, kissing her forehead. "Don't say that." He shh'ed her, his eyes closing for a moment. "I don't even want to think about it." He tensed up. "I get nervous and angry just imagining it sometimes- never say it." He frowned, stroking her hair away from her forehead once again.
"Mmmm. Gave me a great view of some other things too." She wiggled her eyebrows playfully. "I should visit you in the mornings more often." She laughed.
Rhye was going to pull his hands up to his face, but when he moved them, he pulled her pajama top up with it, exposing the flesh on her lower back. Rhye was about to pull it back down when he saw what seemed to be like a tattoo of her own. He could tell that it was dark, maybe ink? He looked up to her, his eyebrow raising. His hand trailed to the spot he could see it at, his grin escaping and stretching out once more.
He felt her lower back, laughing. "Yeah, Ophelia, looks like you have something of yours, too. I can't tell but it kind of looks like part of a tattoo, too." He winked, watching her carefully. "Either that or a birthmark." He cooed, his interest growing. "What is it? Let me see!" He whined, a smile on his face though.

The last part killed him. He blushed hard, his hand roaming to the back of his neck and rubbing gently at his tattoo. "If I am honored to have a family with you, I could only hope they have your traits, your laugh, and grow up with the dedication you have. You're strong willed and important. You are tough and caring. Ophelia, you're amazing." He smiled happily. "I couldn't ask for a more perfect someone- you are my dream."

"Don't say that." Rhye shh'ed her. "I don't even want to think about it." Ophelia frowned when she felt Rhye tense up beneath her. "I get nervous and angry just imagining it sometimes- never say it." She closed her eyes when he began stroking her hair. She shook her head.
"I won't. I promise." She said quietly. "Let's stay here. In bed, all day. Please?"
Rhye was going to pull his hands up to his face, but when he moved them, he pulled her pajama top up with it, exposing the flesh on her lower back. Rhye was about to pull it back down when he saw what seemed to be like a tattoo of her own. His hand trailed to the spot he could see it at, his grin escaping and stretching out once more.
Ophelia's skin tingled as she felt Rhye touch her lower back.
"Yeah, Ophelia, looks like you have something of yours, too. I can't tell but it kind of looks like part of a tattoo, too." He winked, watching her carefully.
Her face morphed into a frown. "It's not." She said sharply.
"Either that or a birthmark." He cooed, his interest growing.
Ophelia moved to cover it. Now that it had been discovered, or brought to light, she realized how much she didn't want to talk about it. It's history was degrading and embarrassed her.
"What is it? Let me see!" Rhye whined, a smile on his face though. Ophelia's face contorted in discomfort. Rhye deserved to know. She just felt so branded by it. She bit her lip, not quite sure how to explain.
"It's not a tattoo, or a birthmark. It's a brand." She sneered, not looking at anything in particular. "A degrading, hereditary brand."
The Hufflepuff's heart absolutely melted. She grinned. "I think we are past 'if'," she said with a smile. "I think the question is now when. And hopefully the answer it soon. I can't wait to start my life with you. And raise children who have endless stomach's, have the most amazing smile to have graced this world. Always know what to say when you feel sad. I've said it before, and I will say it again, Mr Alexendre, you are my rock. That is the best description I can give. My rock. My absolutely and undeniably everything."

"I won't. I promise." She said quietly. "Let's stay here. In bed, all day. Please?"
Rhye would happily oblige. "Yes, of course. Anything for you." He nuzzled into her hair softly, wrapping his arms around her stomach area and squeezing her sides.
Her face morphed into a frown. "It's not." She said sharply.
He looked down, embarrassed somewhat, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry.." He trailed off, releasing his hold on her when she went to cover up her mark. Rhye felt like he had traded into troubled water, so he would keep his feet on the ground and slowly step out since he still had somewhat of a control.
"It's not a tattoo, or a birthmark. It's a brand." She sneered, not looking at anything in particular. "A degrading, hereditary brand."
Rhye felt the back of his neck, thinking about his tattoo. They weren't the same, but he still had a kind of similar design. He closed his eyes and imagined his friends again, all discussing the knot tattoos they should get and doodling them out. Rhye, actually, had come up with the design for them. The group had decided on it anyways.
Rhye stayed quiet, still in somewhat deep thought about his friends and his childhood. But when she stopped talking, the words 'You are my rock' rung through his head. The Ravenclaw smiled up at her gently, nodding. "I'm glad I can be that for you." He said, almost a hollow tone to his voice. The incident the tattoo sparked and her snappy reaction to her mark made him dive back into his childhood. Whether that was a good thing or not- time would tell.

"I'm glad I can be that for you."
Ophelia noted the hollow tone and she mentally slapped herself for seemingly ruining a good morning. She considered dropping the subject completely, but figured it would be best to just get it all out now. She crinkled her nose together, rubbing at it roughly in a weird way of comforting herself.
"It's been in the Retchford family line since the dawn of time. It's a bit complicated, but it is a way to make sure that woman stay faithful. The details still confuse me, but the fact that I have the mark, tells my father that my mother, though Muggle, was faithful. And that I am my fathers child. If I have a daughter, she will have the same mark. It's confusing, but none of it matters. All that matters it that it's a power thing. It's a brand. I'm making no sense." She shook her head. She had officially managed to jumble up the entire explanation.
Ophelia sat there feeling awkward, her stomach growled and she remembered the food. She turned towards Rhye and she still felt guilty for ruining the morning. The hint of a smile appeared.
"If a wizard was knocked out by Dracula in a fight, what would he be?" She said weakly, but trying to rectify the morning.
"Out for the count."

Rhye looked down with his eyes closed, his ears catching every last word though. "I understand." He said flatly, his hand running through his hair slowly, tugging on it out of nervous habit. He sighed and looked up, his usually brown-green eyes an off grey, a hint of brown freckles peeking through.
Ophelia tried to lighten the mood with a joke.
"If a wizard was knocked out by Dracula in a fight, what would he be?" She said weakly, but trying to rectify the morning. "Out for the count."
Rhye noted the struggle in her voice, his hand reaching to hers to hold it softly. He didn't say anything for a few moments. His rested against her shoulder, his eyes closed, dreaming of home and his friends. "You know," he said gruffly, the gravel in his vocal chords booming, "I really miss them on days like this."
Anyone could tell the hurt in his voice- it was like a helpless puppy with nowhere to go, but longing for home.

"You know," Rhye said gruffly, the gravel in his vocal chords booming, "I really miss them on days like this."
The Ravenclaw sounded so- so broken. Ophelia's heart broke and tears fell from her eyes. His head rested on her shoulder and she dropped hers down to rest on top of his. She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and wiggling away from Rhye.
"I want under." She said simply, now crawling up under the covers. She pulled Rhye down to her, laying his head on the center of her chest so she could easily manage to comb through his hair. She hummed to him the song he had once sung to her when she felt blue.
Ophelia paused momentarily only to say, "I owl'd your mum. To ask her what sort of necklace you would wear if I were to get you something. I hope- well I hope that's okay." She continued to run a hand through his hair, allowing the other one to trace back and forth across his exposed back.
She was ashamed to admit comfort wasn't her strong point. She had never truly received comfort, well except from Rhye, and so she wasn't sure how to give it.
"I think they would be very proud of you right now. In fact, I am sure they are watching us right now, wishing you wouldn't be so hard on yourself." She said soothingly.

"I want under." She said simply, now crawling up under the covers. She pulled Rhye down to her, laying his head on the center of her chest so she could easily manage to comb through his hair. She hummed to him the song he had once sung to her when she felt blue.
Rhye's eyes closed, a few silent tears running down to the tip of his nose and collecting, until they splashed off onto the covers. He felt so alone sometimes, and that's when he needed Ophelia the most. The boy was too kept to himself even with his close friends like Charles, Delphi, and Ophelia. It was a shame that he felt so cut up inside. The memories always did that to him.
Ophelia paused momentarily only to say, "I owl'd your mum. To ask her what sort of necklace you would wear if I were to get you something. I hope- well I hope that's okay."
Rhye sniffled somewhat, trying to catch his breath to speak. "That's perfectly fine." He said, his voice soft and breaking. "H-how was s-she?" He breathed out calmly, trying to be quiet.
"I think they would be very proud of you right now. In fact, I am sure they are watching us right now, wishing you wouldn't be so hard on yourself." She said soothingly.
Rhye closed his eyes again, a gentle smile on his face. "You think so?" He rubbed his eyes slowly, and his nose, wiping the tears off his face. "I think they'd all be jealous of how I have you, too." He added with a soft, hurt-filled chuckle. "They always got mad when girls would rather talk to me than them. It was something that we used to make a game out of." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath in, enjoying her soothing hair playing and back rub.
"Thanks." He breathed out, his whisper almost hoarse and quiet. "I needed this."

Rhye sniffled somewhat, trying to catch his breath to speak. "That's perfectly fine." He said, his voice soft and breaking. "H-how was s-she?"
Ophelia continued to brush her hand through his hair and tickle his back softly. She wasn't oblivious to the tears of course, and the break in his voice, but she personally understood that sometimes crying made you feel better. The Muggle phrase, 'Sometimes a baby just has to cry,' holds true for all ages, even teenagers. Maybe allowing him to cry on her would allow for some stress relief. Everybody needed to be comforted somedays. And she was glad she was there for him today.
"Missing her baby boy." Ophelia said in barely a whisper. "I would miss you too if I had to go months without seeing you. Sometimes even a day seems too long." She began her soft humming again.
"You think so?" Rhye rubbed his eyes slowly. "I think they'd all be jealous of how I have you, too. They always got mad when girls would rather talk to me than them. It was something that we used to make a game out of."
"Yes, I do think so. I think they know how much you've beat yourself up over something that happened the past that was completely out of your control, and now they are glad you are happy. I know I would be. My parents didn't bother with me much, but I like to think that they're happy I have you."
"Thanks." He breathed out, his whisper almost hoarse and quiet. "I needed this."
Despite him not being able to see her, Ophelia shook her heads and hushed him softly. "Don't thank me, Rhye. I would lay here with you for a week if it made you feel better. I am glad and honored that you are letting me be here for you rather then you just closing off."

"Missing her baby boy." Ophelia said in barely a whisper. "I would miss you too if I had to go months without seeing you. Sometimes even a day seems too long." She began her soft humming again.
Rhye's head burrowed further into Ophelia's skin as she told him that his Mom was missing him. "I need to write her more often." He said, a guilty feeling peeling across his saddened lips. "I feel like I don't do it enough." His voice lowered, as did his eyes. "I think if we sat down and wrote to her once a week or so, she would really enjoy that." He admitted, his hand reaching for one of her own to hold.
"Yes, I do think so. I think they know how much you've beat yourself up over something that happened the past that was completely out of your control, and now they are glad you are happy. I know I would be. My parents didn't bother with me much, but I like to think that they're happy I have you."
Rhye let out a heavy sigh. "They always told me I over thought everything." He frowned, but he was okay. "I really hope they are watching over me. Sometimes, its like I can feel them with me, helping me make decisions. They take over my conscious and keep me calm most of the time." Rhye looked up to her and kissed her chin, smiling. "You would have loved them, like they would have loved you."
Despite him not being able to see her, Ophelia shook her head and hushed him softly. "Don't thank me, Rhye. I would lay here with you for a week if it made you feel better. I am glad and honored that you are letting me be here for you rather then you just closing off."
Rhye kissed her chin again. "I've been shutting people out for too long." He smiled. "I'm so glad to have you in my life." He closed his eyes as she continued to run her hand through his hair. It comforted him. "And I am the honored one."

Ophelia relaxed into the bed further when Rhye burrowed his head further into the skin of her chest.
"I need to write her more often. I feel like I don't do it enough. I think if we sat down and wrote to her once a week or so, she would really enjoy that." Rhye said, taking into his hand hers that ran through his hair. She soon moved her other hand up to his head.
"I didn't mean to make you feel bad." She said apologetically. "But I think you should write her weekly. I'm sure it would make her happy to hear from you more often. It may life here more bearable." Ophelia sighed. She hated the way Hogwarts was now run.
Rhye let out a heavy sigh. "They always told me I over thought everything."
"You do." She laughed lightly, her chest bouncing.
Rhye frowned, but he was okay. "I really hope they are watching over me. Sometimes, its like I can feel them with me, helping me make decisions. They take over my conscious and keep me calm most of the time."
"So they're who I have to thank for keeping you sane?" She smiled and bent over to kiss the top of his head before ruffling his hair up some.
Rhye looked up to her and kissed her chin, smiling. "You would have loved them, like they would have loved you."
"I already do love them hun. They obviously mean so very much to you. They helped shape your personality. I can't help but to love them. I am sorry I never got to meet them." The tips of her fingers flitted across his forehead before returning to stroke his cheek.
Ophelia smiled lovingly down at her Rhye as he went to kiss her chin again, but she maneuvered her head to catch his lips to hers.
"I've been shutting people out for too long." He smiled. "I'm so glad to have you in my life." He closed his eyes as she continued to run her hand through his hair. It comforted him. "And I am the honored one."
"No more shutting people out, Sir. I won't have it." Ophelia tilted his head up by his chin and left a soft trail of kisses along his forehead. "I am so grateful to have you in my life Rhye Alexendre. For once I seem to have found the perfect place where I belong. And it's right here, in your arms and your arms alone."

"So they're who I have to thank for keeping you sane?" She smiled and bent over to kiss the top of his head before ruffling his hair up some.
Rhye scoffed lightly, smiling up at her. He grinned as she kissed his head, his hand resting on her stomach as he laid on her. "I'm sane as can be. They don't keep me sane." His 'serious' look failed as his lips twitched into a smile and he laughed. "We all know that's a lie. I'm a wreck waiting to happen."
"I already do love them hun. They obviously mean so very much to you. They helped shape your personality. I can't help but to love them. I am sorry I never got to meet them." The tips of her fingers flitted across his forehead before returning to stroke his cheek.
"They are my personality." He laughed. "We were all one and the same. Basically brothers." He reminisced on how they used to rotate houses where they'd spend the weekend every weekend. All their moms loved Rhye. Rhye was the most respectful and usually the funniest one of them. But they were all just like him. "We were brothers."
Rhye had to catch his breath, his lungs almost giving for a moment. "You literally take my breath away, Ophelia Alexendre." He shook his head and caught her lips in his, holding her cheek with his right hand.
Rhye slowly crawled up over her, sitting on her. He smiled down at her and rubbed his hands together. "I'm still so hungry." He protested, crossing his arms. One of his hands grabbed his medallion, enjoying the warmth of thought he got from the warmth of the necklace. Her thinking about him always- it was the best feeling.

One of Ophelia's favorite pastimes was doing things that made Rhye Alexendre smile. That had, after all, been a reason why she had surprised him that morning. He kissed her and rested his head upon her stomach again. She listened to all he said, teasing him when he said he was wreck waiting to happen.
"You literally take my breath away, Ophelia Alexendre." Rhye shook his head and caught her lips in his, holding her cheek with his right hand.
Ophelia blushed with a large grin. "You are too good for me." She laughed. "I ought to just marry you before summer. Change my name before we return next year. That way everyone knows that I am so fully and completely yours.."
Rhye slowly crawled up over her, sitting on her. He smiled down at her and rubbed his hands together. "I'm still so hungry."
She looked up at the heart melting angel that straddled her lap. Ophelia wished every morning was like this. She without a doubt, wanted nothing more then to wake up to this man for the rest of her life and all the ones after. The love she felt for him literally made her heart ache. When she was with him, Finley and all her problems didn't exist. She lived in the now, and the now was simply perfect.
"I would serve it to you, but I'm a bit stuck." She playfully wiggled around from where she was happily pinned under him. "Not that I'm complaining. She smirked." Her eyes danced over to the basket she brought in, and then back to the eyes of her Greek God, a playful innocent pout on her delicate pale face. Ophelia's stomach grumbled terribly under him, and she realized just how hungry she truly was. "I hope my heating charm hasn't failed." She said casually, biting her lip in thought, but releasing it when she looked back up at him. "I guess we can always sneak down to the kitchen for more." She laughed. Who cares if the Breakfast Hall was already open and accepting students. Ophelia didn't want to dress for the day and socialize. She wanted to stay in bed with Rhye all day. But if they did have to go and get food, it would be much for fun to sneak around in your pajama's during the day to get food from the kitchen and get back before getting caught.

Ophelia blushed with a large grin. "You are too good for me." She laughed. "I ought to just marry you before summer. Change my name before we return next year. That way everyone knows that I am so fully and completely yours.."
Rhye's jaw dropped. "Are you... are you serious?" He asked, a big smile on his face. "You know.. I have no objections. Or maybe we can get engaged and marry after School ends?" He shrugged. "I'm completely serious." Rhye's hands went to her cheeks and he kissed her repeatedly, grinning against her lips.
"I would serve it to you, but I'm a bit stuck." She playfully wiggled around from where she was happily pinned under him. "Not that I'm complaining." She smirked.
The Ravenclaw laughed, smiling. He pulled his leg over her and sat down beside her, grabbing the basket and handing it to her. It was still hot, surprisingly. That meant Rhye didn't have to travel topless down the halls of Hogwarts to get food. He was okay with that. He didn't like being shirtless. Sure, he had a "nice" body, but he didn't flaunt it. Plus, he was secretly insecure-- that was a total joke.
"What did you bring?" He grinned, eyeing the basket hungrily. He felt like one of Pavlo's dogs, salivating over the food incredibly. He had worked up an appetite this morning, not having breakfast like he usually did once he woke up. But it was all worth it- he got to spend time with his favorite person.
And isn't that really all that matters?
