Cassidy sat in the Ravenclaw common room a book in one hand and a bottle of soda in the other her legs swung over the arm of a chair her hair had fallen over her eyes. reaching up she pushed it back out of her eyes and looked around not really seeing any one as she read her book it was to quiet and she hated quiet she'd preferred it if some one was there so she could talk to them or try and make friends. With a sigh she closed the book and swung her legs over so she could stretch out a little.

He liked the silence of the Ravenclaw common room, though it was always less rare than one might think. For while Ravenclaws were indeed prized for their wit and intelligence, it didn't mean they couldn't be rowdy, albeit in different ways. So Mordred took the silence as a gift when he could, tucking himself into the shadows, away from the sunlight that spilled through the window of the tower; sunlight that cheered so many and damped his own rather inconsequential "spirits."
Still, even as he read, making the occasional note, he was not so absorbed that he didn't notice the other presence in the common room - indeed, his vampiric senses told him exactly who it was, a fourth year girl, and the human part of his mind, for he was indeed a half-breed, part vampire and part human, supplied her name: Cassidy Mitchell.
He hadn't taken her for a girl who liked quiet. Something about her expression told him that he had been right.

Cassidy stood up and stretched out her body ridding it of the knots she felt picking up her books she placed them haphazardly on the table and sat back down again her mind so not on studying yet it was then she noticed a boy sat in the darkest corner " hay hiding in the corner I see you no fare spying on me" she said and turned her back to him.

It was a calm Saturday, and Delphi was still laying in bed. The past few days had been a bit hectic. She sighed, deciding that she really did need to get up before lunch began. Delphi slipped into the bathroom to shower and dress. Almost thirty minutes later she was walking down the stairs from the sixth year dormitory and into the Common Room. Her hair hung wet, and she had slipped into jeans and one of her boyfriends plaid button up shirts. She yawned as she hit the landing.
Immediately she saw Cassidy. "Good morning, Cassidy. How did you sleep?" She asked with a smile, sitting down on the floor between the couch and the low coffee table. She set a small bag of raspberries on the table in front of her, and set her book down on the floor beside her.
Delphi had been trying to learn French. Well, she already knew some, but she wanted to become more fluent. Her best friend, Rhye, was a natural at the language, as his mother was from France, and Delphi had decided to give it a try. Something unfamiliar in her mind registered, and she looked towards one of the corners, a small smile forming on her lips.
"Good morning Mordred. I hope your day is going well."

Cassidy suddenly heard a voice behind her turning she saw Delphi and heard her ask if she slept well. Cassidy shook her head and sighed " the mattress is lumpy and the blankets are thin " she said and yawned sitting down heavily in a chair and pouted " then I got woke up too early " she said softly brushing her hair from her face as she looked over at Delphi and sighed again " sorry just having a bad day all round" she threw her legs over the arm of the chair and laid back over it her hair falling down behind her as she closed her eyes.
" Do you ever wonder, if there truly is any one out there for you" she asked turning her head only slightly to look at her as she asked her question. " I am beginning to think there is nobody for me I'm tired of every one all lovey dove and I'm sat all alone in a corner" she said now gently kicking her legs back and forth on the arm.

Delphi frowned at the girl. "I'm sorry about your mattress and sheets." Hey eyes lit up. "We could go into Hogsmeade and get new ones!" Delphi hadn't been outside the walls of Hogwarts in a while, and she was itching for some freedom.
The Ravenclaw listened to the fourth year talk about her worries. "Cassidy dear, you can't think like that. You are only a fourth year. Fourteen, maybe fifteen years old. You haven't even reached a fourth of your life. Boys are not something you need to worry about right now." She felt bad for the younger girl, but Delphi's words were true. Boys were not something the girl should get upset about at only fourteen. "Don't worry hun, your prince will come soon enough." She smiled encouragingly at Cassidy before diving into her raspberries, and waiting to hear Cassidy's response.

Cassidy sighed hearing her then blinked "So says the girl whose got a man all ready and doesn't need to look for one." she said taking out a small note book and began doodling in it with out looking at her soon she became board with that and dropped it down next to her on the floor while she just swung her leg back and forth over it.
Cassidy had heard her suggest going into Hogsmead and finally came to a decision moving she stood up picking up the book as he did so "ok I can't take sleeping in that bed as it is and since it was your suggestion, lets go " she said and looked at her " I hope you know what shops sell good sheets and blankets?" Cassidy asked watching her eat raspberry. "If we get good ones, I'll buy you a bag of those, hell any fruit you wish." she said and pointed to the raspberry.

Mordred inclined his head as the girls noticed him, and though he hadn't been trying all that hard to conceal his presence in the room he hadn't expected them to greet or even acknowledge it, should they notice. Still, he wasn't all tha perturbed, as he figured it would have been someone else if not them, and there was no use feeling anything towards the gestures at all behind a casual acceptance that yes, it had happened, and now he was bound to respond in kind, as the mortals no doubt expected him to.
"Good morning, Delphi," he intoned lightly, dark red eyes flickering to her before resting on the both of them. He gave Cassidy a little nod, but he sat back and remained silent when they began to speak of issues he doubted he should have been privy to. After all, of his experience males weren't supposed to be present when females delved into the realm of love or members of his own sex; things got awkward and it was something better left alone.
