Delphi Emma strode into the library with a bounce to her step and a smile on her face. She readjusted the books she held in one arm and a cleverly disguised bag of food in the other.
She didn't stop her pace until she got to the back corner of the Library's second level. A smile spread across her face when she came to her spot. A small love seat sat in front of a cozy, low, black round table. On the other side of the love seat sat two amazingly cozy chairs. A shaggy rug dressed the ground, and it was all practically hidden by cleverly placed bookshelves. She had discovered the spot in her second year and had come here to study ever since. Few people other then her even knew about it. David, the Hufflepuff, would have to cast a Point Me spell to locate her, but he seemed smart and she was confident that he would think of that.
Delphi set her study material and lunch down on the low coffee table and then settled down into the love seat. She pulled her food out, inhaling the aroma of her favorite meal, opened her Ancient Runes books, for she had numerous, and got to work.

David had woken up late, so late in fact that he had missed breakfast and was determined not to miss his meeting, not a date sadly, with Delphi or Emma, better call her Emma or she may curse him or something.
So with that he jumped out of bed and into a pair of jeans, a t-shirt but slung his trainers over his shoulder also grabbing his back and the book he was reading the night before, it was Saturday after all so he was allowed to wear what he liked, when he liked.
Hardly anyone was in the halls only a few of the younger years who didn't really know what to do. Luckilly Theodore Nott from the previous night hadn't gone walking around so the day seemed to be going on a positive note so far. The library was only a few steps away when David tripped over.
He landed forehead first and it was lucky that he still remained conscious and also somehow had avoided bleeding, maybe he was just incredible strong and had an equally strong head. It was more likely luck, that was the thought in his head anyway as he opened the door to the library.
David couldn't see the librarian and wasn't going to wait around to ask her permission to come in. Initially he worried that Delph....I mean Emma hadn't turned up and it was a sick joke, but after retrieving his wand and using a subsequent Point Me spell he released that she was upstairs.
Climbing up the stairs his anticipation grew, had her friend shown up. Was she in a bad mood with her, and so on and so forth. He finally found her after another five minutes of searching and multiple point me spells David found the "Spot" with her love seat and food which was actually not allowed in the library, but David would let it go. He didn't want to annoy her two times in a row did he? No, he didn't.
"Howdy"
He gave a small wave and placed his bag on the floor taking out a few books, a quill but no food. Prior planning something he thought was needed, finally he sat down opposite Emma so as not to seem creepy or pushy.
"Did you sleep well?"
As he spoke he continued rummaging through his bag and found an incredibly random item, his amateur wrestling head guard. David pushed it to the bottom of his bag to avoid ridicule from Emma, though she didn't seem the type to bully people, first impressions can be deceiving though.

Rhye was going to meet Delphi today, and some other person she had told him about. Mainly he was there for studying, not really socializing, but that would just be a bonus. The Ravenclaw didn't know much about the other person, she hadn't mentioned any details.
He pulled on his favorite pair of tan loafers, a plaid button up, and his Ravenclaw cardigan. He ran a hand through his hair, smiled at Charles as he left the dorms, and made his way back to the library again. Rhye pulled his backpack up with one hand and slung it around onto his other shoulder smoothly as he was leaving. All his poetry books were in there, and his Ancient Runes book that he needed to look over for the test.
Once he entered the library, Rhye looked around the couches and floor to see if she was here. No. Rhye laughed, shaking his head. She's in her spot, isn't she? He pulled his backpack up higher on his back, and made his way upstairs without any spells.
Rhye walked into the area where she was, his eyes landing on her bright red hair first, then to another guy. He was bigger, and probably older. He had never met him though. Rhye raised his eyebrow at her, his nostrils flaring somewhat as he walked past the guy, jumping right onto Emma's lap, laughing the whole way there. He wiped his hand across his mouth, trying not to be too loud and rolled off next to her. "Hey." He said subtly, a smug grin on his face.
He looked to the male, an unsure glance. Rhye was cautious of new people, regardless of how much Emma knew them. He looked back to Emma, pulled his bag off his back, and took out his book. "Ancient Runes?" He asked her, smiling.

"Howdy"
Delphi Emma startled some and looked up at the nervous boy. She smiled kindly.
"Sorry, I get really focused when I study. Startle easily." She shrugged. "It's silly, I know." Delphi smiled as the boy gave her a small wave, placing his bags on the floor.
Delphi waved while watching as he removed his school supplies from his bag and sat across from her.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Actually I managed to sleep better then I have in a while." She said truthfully while vigorously flipping through the pages in one of her larger books to get to the page she knew had what she needed.
"How about you? Sleep like a baby?" She smiled, laughing playfully. Delphi had taken a deep breath and settled back into her spot, closing her eyes for only a second when she heard a laugh, she opened her eyes only moments before what felt like a ton of bricks dropping into her lap. An "oof" escaped her lips lightly and her eyes widened.
It didn't take long at all for her to realize that her best friend had arrived. Rhye wiped his hand across his mouth, trying not to be too loud.
Rhye rolled off of her, with the help of Delphi who aided him with a push.
"Rhye Alexendre get off of me!" Delphi laughed with a bright smile. Her and Rhye had actually met on the train to Hogwarts and the two of them had almost instantly become the best of friends. When they were both sorted into Ravenclaw, their fate of a Forever Friendship had been sealed. They bonded almost immediately.
"Hey." Rhye said meekly, a smug grin on his face.
"Unlike me," She said with a falsely innocent tone, "You are one very hyperactive child." She laughed and then turned to David, still smiling.
"David, this is my friend Rhye Alexendre. He's my best friend and a fellow Ravenclaw." She turned to Rhye. "Rhye, this is David Osler. I met him last night and he's a seventh year Hufflepuff." Delphi looked between the two and smiled. She hoped they got along.
She was used to not having many super close friends. Well, she mostly had Rhye, Ophelia, and she considered Neville to be someone she could go to anytime. And Charles was in her year, he was really nice and they were friends as well. Delphi was easy to get along with, and she was very much a non-judgmental social butterfly. She didn't discriminate between houses, and let every person meet her with an unbiased opinion. If her and David were going to be friends, he had better be ready to handle the "hyperactive pixie." Or at least that's what her friends referred to her as.
Rhye pulled his stuff out if his bag and then dramatically leaned over into Delphi's personal bubble, and with a smile said, "Ancient Runes?"
Delphi smiled, rolling her eyes. "Well obviously. You should have brought your material for it too! We have the class together. Are you prepared?" She turned to him with a finely arched eyebrow and her arms crossed over her shoulders.
Turning to David again, she smiled. "Do you take Ancient Runes? What are your favorite classes? I simply love Ancient Runes! It's my favorite of course. OH! What do you least like?" She blushed and stopped talking when she realized she was rambling. Delphi rambled a lot. It was just part of her nature; and while her friends had learned to accept, love, and even be amused by her rambling, she had to remember that most people thought it annoying.

David nodded at Delphi's answers to his questions and smiled when she said about her being easily startled.
"It's not a problem being easily startled as long as you don't react negatively, also thanks for asking I did sleep well. I had a violent dream as usual but now I am here and...."
Then came a force almost like a roaring tornado but in fact it was another Ravenclaw by the name of Rhye Alexander, who already seemed to have a problem with the large Hufflepuff. He looked up quickly to see Rhye flare his nostrils and a little smile crept across his face, this guy was jealous and didn't want David "stepping on his terf", his terf being Emma.
When Rhye had sat next to Emma, David gave him a little friendly nod.
"You alright?"
The quiet question seemed to go unanswered as Rhye had already asked Emma about what she was reading which was obviously Ancient Runes. All David could do was sigh, he always seemed to be second best but nevertheless he removed his new Defence Against The Dark Arts book and begun reading it. That was until he was interrupted again by a barrage of questions:
"Do you take Ancient Runes? What are your favorite classes? I simply love Ancient Runes! It's my favorite of course. OH! What do you least like?
All David could do was place his right index finger on his lips before looking up at Emma who had graciously gone quiet to let him answer.
"Too many questions...."'
A little smile crept across his face so as to show Emma that he was joking.
"I don't take Ancient Runes as I never felt it helped further my future, no offence. My favourite classes would have to be Defence Against The Dark Arts..."
He raised his book as a piece of evidence to show that he did like the class.
"...And I also enjoy Divination as I believe that we already know the future but we choose not to accept it due to our human-like fears..."
David could feel Rhye looking at him as he spoke and it was rather intimidating but he would not let it affect him. He had as much need to be here as anyone else so he would speak as he wished.
"....My least favourite subject would most likely be Potions which I dropped at the soonist opportunity I could"
Without turning his head David asked Rhye a question:
"What about you Rhye?"
He would try to be friendly for Emma's sake otherwise he would probably have knocked this guy down due to his obvious jealously towards him. Who could blame him though right? David was quite a catch....

Delphi was surprised when he plopped down on her, and he laughed with her.
"Rhye Alexendre get off of me!" Delphi laughed with a bright smile.
He shrugged his shoulders at her, a huge grin on his face, but then it was wiped clean as he saw the other male known as David watching the pair. His pupils narrowed almost to slits, like that of a cat, and he coughed. So this was David? The hot-headed one who blew up on Delphi for no reason? He shook his head subconsciously and a smirk crept across his lips.
"Well, David, I have heard not a lot about you. But the things I have heard, they weren't good." He said casually, no emotion behind his voice. "I heard that you yelled at my Emma here." He said, motioning to her with his head for a second, then his tone deepened. "But I assume all is better now?"
Once he finished talking, or giving his explanation of what happened- which really had no value to Rhye whatsoever- Rhye would turn back to Delphi. A real man controls his temper. That's all he could think about and it took everything he had not to say it aloud. He wasn't going to start anything just yet.
"Unlike me," She said with a falsely innocent tone, "You are one very hyperactive child." She laughed. "Well obviously. You should have brought your material for it too! We have the class together. Are you prepared?" She turned to him with a finely arched eyebrow and her arms crossed over her shoulders.
Rhye scoffed, and he raised his book up in defense. "I'm offended. I always study for that class. And Emma, that is a lie if I had ever heard one." He arched his eyebrow back. "I'm always prepared." He challenged playfully, his body turned to face her.
The head pretty boy for Ravenclaw, he had earned that title. Rhye was not in the least bit jealous, nor should he have a reason to be. He was Delphi's best friend, and he knew her well. She had been there through his first flying lessons, and many more from there.
"After six years, Emma, you should know me better than that." He winked, a passing glace sent to the male again. Who did he think he was? Rhye looked back to his book and started reading again until he was asked a question too.
"My favorite is potions, my least favorite is Defense Against The Dark Arts." He said simply. "I don't think DADA will help me, so I don't care for it. Much like you with Ancient Runes."

"Too many questions...."' David smiled, and do did Delphi. Least he has a sense of humor.
"I don't take Ancient Runes as I never felt it helped further my future, no offence. My favourite classes would have to be Defence Against The Dark Arts..." The raised his book.
"Well I plan on working in the Department of Mysteries when I'm an adult, so it helps me perfectly."
"...And I also enjoy Divination as I believe that we already know the future but we choose not to accept it due to our human-like fears..."
"I enjoy the subject, but I dislike the class here at school. It is interesting of course, but trying to learn about it here would e pointless." She crinkled in disgust as she remembered some of the lessons she had had.
"....My least favourite subject would most likely be Potions which I dropped at the soonist opportunity I could"
"Oh Potions." She shook her head with a smile. "Potions and I have a love-hate relationship. I love it, and it hates me. I need it though, so I have to work extra hard at it. Ophelia is the only reason I am passing, and she's a fifth year!" Delphi laughed.
Without turning his head David asked Rhye a question:
"What about you Rhye?"
Delphi could tell that David was trying to be nice, but it did come off a bit rude. Of course she wouldn't really hold it against him. She couldn't help but wonder if some secret boy code had passed between them that she was oblivious to. David seemed like a nice boy, but no one had her trust that quickly. Trust no one at first. That's the way she operated. You lived with it, or you didn't.
She blushed awkwardly when Rhye mentioned part of what she had told him of the night before. She felt bad, but she couldn't help it. Rhye was like her brother, she was upset and she couldn't just not tell him after he had seen her upset.
Rhye scoffed, and he raised his book up in defense Delphi's hyper accusation. "I'm offended. I always study for that class. And Emma, that is a lie if I had ever heard one." He arched his eyebrow back.
Delphi tipped her head back and laughed. "I would never lie! I hate liars, remember? They are the scum of the earth." She ended with a serious tone. She had been teasing him with her original statement, but she really did hate liars.
"I'm always prepared." Rhye challenged playfully, his body turned to face her.
"Oh yes, don't think I haven't heard what happened in Potions!" She turned her head to David with a smile so she could explain animatedly with her hands.
"Ophelia was telling me this! Rhye comes in late," She turned her head to him, "As usual," She turned back to David, "And he sits down, right? But he thought it would be funny to throw a paper ball at the back of Charles, his best friend, and Professor Snape see's it! Well you know how Professor Snape is. He stalks over to the area and throws the paper ball back ten times as hard and takes thirty points from Ravenclaw. Thirty." She punched Rhye's shoulder. "Why did it have to be Ravenclaw!?" She laughed before continuing. "And if that wasn't enough, he decides to try and take all the blame. Getting him in even more trouble." Delphi shook her head in amusement.
"After six years, Emma, you should know me better than that." Rhye winked, a passing glance sent to the male again.
Delphi felt her face and lower half of her hair turn bright pink. "Rhye shut up!" She pushed against him with her shoulder. "You are going to make it sound like more then it actually was." She turned to David and blushed. "We dated for a semester back in fourth year, but we are better as friends." She laughed, wrapped her arm around the crook of his elbow, laying her head on his shoulder. "He use to be crazy, but now he's worse." She teased and pulled away from him to pull a plastic bag of raspberries out of her bag. She began popping them in her mouth every now and then.
She listened to Rhye explain his lack of liking DADA. She smirked. "Sounds a lot like what Ophelia told Charles." She grinned. "I'm just teasing you Rhye. I can't help but to tease the friends I love."
"Do you have any tests coming up?" She asked David.

"Well, David, I have heard not a lot about you. But the things I have heard, they weren't good, I heard that you yelled at my Emma here."
After this statement from Rhye, David heard a loud clapping sound in his head which made his eyes instantly widen. This ment that his schizophrenia, which he had inherited from his dear mother, had just kicked in and with a clap as loud as it was it usually ment anger. Now David wasn't a little boy by any expansion of the mind and when he did get angry it usually ment an injury would follow...
Rhye continued speaking, with little importance to David, until it was Emma had begun speaking about previous experience's with Rhye, who had seemed to take a bad attitude towards him, but ended her talking segment with a small question:
"Do you have any tests coming up?"
David put down his book sharply making the table make a loud cracking sound. He stood up with his eyes closed and begun speaking:
"I don't know Emma and I'm sorry but I have to go look for something, yeah that's it..."
His voice trailed off after his sharp statement before initially walking away but soon turning it into a run. David ran sharply down the stairs, two steps at a time until he reached a set of doors. Soon enough when everything had gone quiet, the voices in his head begun to speak.
"Hit him David, break his face. No-one would miss him..."
David shook his head violently from left to right trying to get rid of the voices but sadly in vein.
"David, you are pathetic. Finish him. Finish him NOW!"
At the last now David punched the pane of glass, which shattered with a resounding smash, on one of the doors leading to the upstairs. Straight away the voices stopped and the blood started to flow, David opened his eyes and looked around to see that no-one else was around.
"What have you done David?"
He asked himself before slowly wrapping his left hand around the top of his right, trying to stop the blood with no effort. Another gift from his dear mother the schitzophrenic alcoholic who was now probably being tied down to a bed by medical staff, she was good at Sudoku though....

There was a loud slam and a crack and Delphi jumped so violently she was practically in Rhye's lap now. She turned her head towards the source and saw David standing up and speaking.
"I don't know Emma and I'm sorry but I have to go look for something, yeah that's it..."
"What's wrong?" She asked as he headed down the stairs. She tore her eyes away from the coffee table and looked between Rhye and the opening to her spot, and Rhye again.
"What just happened?" She asked cautiously. Delphi was so confused. Things seemed to be going fine. Well, except for what Rhye had said. She closed her eyes and sighed. Of course. It was what Rhye had said.
"Do you think he's okay? I thought things were going well. Do you think it was what you said?" She asked in confusion.
There was a loud shatter in the distance, that of class breaking. She flinched sideways into Rhye, eyes closed shut. Delphi slowly opened her eyes one at a time. It must have been what Rhye said. She rubbed her hands to her eyes, the left one still bright pink and extremely sore. She had no idea what it was and it itched like Hell. She was beginning to get a headache and wondered if it had anything to do with her eye.
Delphi stood slowly. "I should go see if he's okay." She headed over to leave their spot.

David put down his book sharply making the table make a loud cracking sound. He stood up with his eyes closed and begun speaking. "I don't know Emma and I'm sorry but I have to go look for something, yeah that's it..."
Rhye flinched somewhat, closing his right eye. He had broke the table. Rhye stood up, wanting to say something, but the boy left before he could. A real man controls his temper. Rhye's hands flew out by his side in exasperation. "What the bloody hell was that?" He growled, his fingers curling up into tight balls. "You don't just break-" He was cut off with a loud crashing sound from a while away.
"What just happened?" She asked cautiously. "Do you think he's okay? I thought things were going well. Do you think it was what you said?" She asked in confusion. David had broken another thing. Rhye hissed under his breath, until he saw Delphi get up.
Delphi stood slowly. "I should go see if he's okay." She headed over to leave their spot.
Rhye grabbed her arm and shook his head. "He's not good to be around right now. If it is anything like it looks, he's got some kind of personality disorder." He sighed. "Trust me. I'm a muggle-born, I know what kind of triggers it comes with. I myself have had trouble with it." He sighed. "With my friends and the voice in the back of my head.." Delphi knew what he was talking about. She had been there during his first real breakdown at Hogwarts in his second or third year. It was a while ago, and Rhye had controlled himself much better last time he broke down in front of Ophelia.
"He just needs space." Rhye said softly. "I shouldn't have said anything like that- I didn't know he was upset..." He shook his head slowly. "But it still wasn't called for.."

Rhye grabbed Delphi's arm and shook his head. "He's not good to be around right now. If it is anything like it looks, he's got some kind of personality disorder." Delphi's eye's widened, but she looked confused and began shaking her head. "I don't know what that means." She felt useless. She wanted to go to David and ask what was wrong, but she trusted Rhye and his judgment. Rhye sighed. "Trust me. I'm a muggle-born, I know what kind of triggers it comes with. I myself have had trouble with it." He sighed, and Delphi looked up at him with continued confusion. She hated this confusion. She didn't know how to handle it. "With my friends and the voice in the back of my head.." The Ravenclaw girl gasped softly. Now she understood what he had meant earlier. Delphi distinctly remembered Rhye having a complete breakdown in their second year. It was on the fifth anniversary of his friends deaths. She had, luckily, been the only one around him when he crumbled. Now, she slowly approached him, setting a hand on his upper arm, but saying nothing. "And you think that maybe something traumatic happened to him as a child?" She asked, looking back the way he had left. "What should I do?" It was perhaps another of Delphi's flaws. Though she never fully trusted someone at first, she always went out of her way to help. "He just needs space." Rhye said softly. "I shouldn't have said anything like that- I didn't know he was upset..." He shook his head slowly. "But it still wasn't called for..""You can't blame yourself." She leaned against her best friend and patted him on the back. "You couldn't have known he would react that way. It was out of your control. I'm glad I asked you to come along though instead of Caesar. There is no telling what would have happened. Well, no- there probably would have been a fight." She shook her head. Caesar was just as unpredictable as she was most days. It's why the two seemed to work together. "Maybe you should apologize?" She asked, still trying to find a solution. "Surely that wouldn't make it worse." Delphi moved to sit on the floor in front of the somewhat cracked table. She pulled a quill and parchment out. "David, I'm sorry about what happened. I'm not really sure what to say but that. I hope you are okay. Write back soon, Emma." She sighed and sent the note off with a silent spell, looking back up at Rhye. "So what exactly is a 'personality disorder'?"

The pain was excruciating, the blood from his hand had begun to drip onto the floor and onto David's shoes. He could have gone to Madame Pomfrey in the Medical Wing but sense was out of the window at this point. Maybe you should just end it, said the voices in his head but David whispered "No" to himself and the voices were silenced quickly.
Suddenly a piece of paper flew from the top of the stairs where Emma and Rhye Alexander were still probably still sitting, not worrying about a tall, fat, geeky, schizophrenic freak like David, and landed at his feet. Slowly it unrolled itself and David begun to read it, mouthing the words to himself as he went:
"David, I'm sorry about what happened. I'm not really sure what to say but that. I hope you are okay. Write back soon, Emma."
A smile spread across David's freakshow face and then suddenly a boot came down onto the slip of paper, the blood splattering over the pure white paper. Staining it a beautiful red, finally David removed his foot and picked up the paper. After twiddling his fingers a quill appeared in his bloody, right hand and he begun to write: "Emma Thanks for your reply. I'm a danger to you, we shouldn't meet in the future. Now Rhye can have you all to himself. from David the Freakshow"[/i] The page was covered in blood which covered a few of the words, luckilly Emma wouldn't catch anything as David was clean.
After folding the paper into a small plane, David whispered a few words to it before throwing it in the direction of the stairs and straight into the hands of Emma.
The exit of the library then opened and David walked out, only to sit against the wall situated just outside of the library.
Fun days in the life of a crazy person as the voices in David's head start up again.
"How's the hand Davey?"
He shook his head but the voices persisted.
"You know I will beat you at the end of the day. Hell! I'm only telling you what you already know."
David begun to shake his head before hesitating and beginning to nod.
"You're right..." is all that David could say out loud, but it came out as more like a whisper.

The Ravenclaw girl gasped softly. Rhye smiled softly at his best friend who had laid her hand on his arm. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her into a friendly side hug. "And you think that maybe something traumatic happened to him as a child?" Delphi asked, looking back the way he had left. Rhye shook his head with a sigh, squeezing Delphi to him in attempts to comfort both her and himself. "It doesn't always work that way, Emma. Some people are born with..." He trailed off, not sure how to answer in a way that would make her understand. She was a Pure Blood, and hadn't come across these Muggle things before. "You know how some people are born Vampires?" He asked her. "Well, like that, some people are born 'different.' Their minds work differently, and sometimes it can make them hostile. Not always. Most of the time it can be treated and suppressed. But Emma, I'm really not so sure about David. If he hurt you, it would end very badly. And it would be even worse if Caesar were to find out." He warned his friend in a low voice. Rhye wasn't a fan of Caesar, but he was good to Delphi, and he was very protective of her. "You can't blame yourself." Delphi leaned against Rhye, patting him on the back. "You couldn't have known he would react that way. It was out of your control. I'm glad I asked you to come along though instead of Caesar. There is no telling what would have happened. Well, no- there probably would have been a fight."Rhye chuckled, pulling away from his friend. "I have a feeling things would have gone much differently had you invited your Slytherin boyfriend. Much differently indeed." "Maybe you should apologize? Surely that wouldn't make it worse." Rhye was already shaking his head in the negative. "You remember how he reacted when you followed and apologized. He yells at me like that, and I won't be as calm as you." Rhye wouldn't put up with having anyone yell at him. Especially not the boy who already yelled at his bet friend. He read the letter Delphi was righting from over her shoulder. Delphi sighed and sent the note off with a silent spell, looking back up at Rhye. "So what exactly is a 'personality disorder'?"Rhye bent down and pulled Delphi up to sit by him on the couch. "I really don't know how to explain it in a way you will understand, Emma. It's a Muggle thing. David just, well he had differences in his mind that he has to deal with. That he has to learn to live with and learn to control." He took her on either shoulder and made sure she was making eye contact before continuing. "Listen to me Emma. What's wrong with him- you can not help him with. There are professional's for this. A sixth year Ravenclaw, no matter how smart, can't effectively help him. It just doesn't work that way." He was gripping her shoulders tightly, as if he could squeeze his words into her. Rhye pulled away from his friend, eyes full of concern, when suddenly something drenched in red flew directly into her hands. Immediately, Rhye ripped the offending object out of her pale delicate hands. It seemed to be a note, and it was covered in blood. His nostrils flared at the audacity of this Hufflepuff to send Delphi a note covered in blood. He turned away from Delphi so she couldn't take it from him, and he opened it. "Emma Thanks for your reply. I'm a danger to you, we shouldn't meet in the future. Now Rhye can have you all to himself. from David the Freakshow" The Ravenclaw scoffed. "He's bloody jealous!" Rhye was shaking his head. "He thinks I want you all to myself!" Rhye was standing and pacing now. "I don't know what kind of person David is, but I don't think of girls as prizes, and I certainly don't claim you as mine!" His voice was getting louder. His blood boiling and his anger rising. Delphi was not some prize you could just 'have all to yourself.' He growled as he read over the note. It burst into flames as he allowed an uncotrolled bout of accidental magic release itself. Rhye looked over to Delphi. His best friend, and sister in all but blood. Maybe he should tell Carsar. "No." He muttered, shaking his head. Hogwarts didn't need a murder. He thought back to the bloody note, remembering that it had passed through Delphi's hands. He sweepers over to her. "Your hands." He muttered and cleaned them with a spell. Rhye looked up at her. "You aren't going. He is obviously dangerous. This may not even be his blood. Besides, it seems to me that he thinks of you as nothing but an object you can possess. I refuse to allow that." His anger spiked again. "I'm sure Caesar would agree with me." It was an empty threat, he had already decided not to mention it to the Slytherin he disliked, but he hoped she would by into it nonetheless.

"It doesn't always work that way, Emma. Some people are born with...You know how some people are born Vampires?" He asked her.
"Yeah. It's something they can't help." She frowned at the discrimination that was present against them.
"Well, like that, some people are born 'different.' Their minds work differently, and sometimes it can make them hostile. Not always. Most of the time it can be treated and suppressed. But Emma, I'm really not so sure about David. If he hurt you, it would end very badly. And it would be even worse if Caesar were to find out." Rhye warned Delphi in a low voice.
Delphi panicked some. Caesar would flip shit if someone at Hogwarts ever laid a hand on her in a negative light. "David isn't going to hurt me."
"I have a feeling things would have gone much differently had you invited your Slytherin boyfriend. Much differently indeed." Delphi grimaced at the thought.
"You remember how he reacted when you followed and apologized. He yells at me like that, and I won't be as calm as you."
"Yeah but he wasn't yelling at me," She stressed again. "He was just venting. My apalogy didn't trigger it. At least, I don't think it did." She bit her lip in thought.
Rhye bent down and pulled Delphi up to sit by him on the couch. "I really don't know how to explain it in a way you will understand, Emma. It's a Muggle thing. David just, well he had differences in his mind that he has to deal with. That he has to learn to live with and learn to control." Rhye took her on either shoulder and made sure she was making eye contact before continuing.
"Maybe I can help." Delphi said in a hopeful voice. She went to rise, but Rhye was holding her in place.
"Listen to me Emma. What's wrong with him- you can not help him with. There are professional's for this. A sixth year Ravenclaw, no matter how smart, can't effectively help him. It just doesn't work that way." Rhye was gripping Delphi's shoulders tightly.
Delphi jumped with a squeak when something that was red and sticky seemed to appear in her hands. She looked down in fear just as Rhye ripped whatever it was from her hands. She held her blood covered hands out in front of her and with one she reached back for the note.
"Rhye, let me see it!" She tried to take it from him, but he turned away from her to read it, making sure it was blocked from her view. Her only indicator of what the note said was Rhye's reaction to it.
The Ravenclaw scoffed. "He's bloody jealous!" Rhye was shaking his head.
"What?" Delphi asked in surprise. "What do you mean?"
"He thinks I want you all to myself!" Rhye was standing and pacing now.
Delphi opened her mouth to speak, but Rhye's rant cut her off. "I don't know what kind of person David is, but I don't think of girls as prizes, and I certainly don't claim you as mine!" His voice was getting louder.
"Rhye," Delphi said quietly. "You are going to draw attention to where we are." She gasped when the note she had yet to be able to read burst into flames. "What did it say, Rhye?"
Rhye looked over to Delphi. "No." He muttered, shaking his head. Delphi wasn't quite sure if it was to her, or to whatever he had been thinking. Suddenly, Rhye was sitting in front of her.
"Your hands." He muttered and cleaned them with a spell.
"Thanks." She replied quietly. "I really should go check on him." She stood to go.
Rhye looked up at her. "You aren't going. He is obviously dangerous. This may not even be his blood. Besides, it seems to me that he thinks of you as nothing but an object you can possess. I refuse to allow that. I'm sure Caesar would agree with me."
Delphi couldn't help the eye roll. "I highly doubt it is someone else's blood. I'm sure it's his." Her eyes grew wide as he mentioned her boyfriend. She knew it was a bluff almost immediately, but the fact alone that he had made it, spoke volumes. Rhye was obviously worried about her. She sighed.
"If he's hurt, it could be bad. Give me ten minutes. If I'm not back, then come after me. I'm okay Rhye. I can handle myself. Just give me ten minutes." She turned and slipped out the door. Within two minutes she was out the doors of the library and had spotted David. His hand was bleeding and he was sitting on the wall.
Delphi sighed and ripped a button off of her shirt. Well, one of Caesar's shirts. Some weekends when she was stressed, she would slip into one of his plaid button ups to comfort herself when he wasn't there. She transfigured the button into a strip of soft fabric and knelt down on a knee, carefully taking his hand in hers and ever so gently wrapped the hand. It looked painful, but she didn't want to embarrass him by questioning him about it. She muttered a small healing and cooling spell.
"Does that feel any better?" She asked nervously, knowing her healing spells weren't the best. "Ophelia is actually a whole lot better at these then I am." She confessed with a small smile, muttering a cleaning spell to rid the area of blood.

David stood up when he was startled by Emma but already she had healed his hand or so they both thought. He clenched the fist a few times but it just burst open once again but at a quicker and more painful pace this time.
"Why did you follow me?"
He asked in a mono-tone style, she didn't need to follow him and he would have prefered if she hadn't.
"Why should you care about me, all I've done is treat you badly. Rhye obviously doesn't like me, and yes I am slightly jealous. He hasn't got a deranged mind and Rhye has friends. I don't. All I have is the voices in my head..."
David pulled at his hair with his left, unbleeding hand before putting it over his face. Finally placing it in his pocket so it wouldn't be a danger to anyone, including himself. His right hand continued to drip onto the floor and all David could do was look at it in silence.
"Just go back to Rhye, I won't bother you again. I'll avoid you like a plague if I have to, just to make sure I don't injure you. Just go back to your boyfriend..."
With that David turned his back to Emma, Delphi whatever, and begun to walk away. Not sure what to do, where to go or who to hurt, as he would obviously hurt someone due to his freakshow mind.
In his mind the voices were laughing and whispering about how weak he was. David looked over his shoulder and saw Emma still standing where he had left her, he stopped in his tracks and just knelt down almost in a praying position. Covering his hand so no-one else could see, but strangely there were no other pupils around, luckily.
"Why was I born?"
Of all the times in his life this was probably the lowest for David. Even when his mother was attacking him and his father had to pull her off of him, worse than when he was dragged kicking and screaming into the orphanage. Even worse than when he was locked in his room for three weeks out of few that he would have another "outburst" and go crazy.
David was always set to be an outcast, and no amount of magic would do that. Though one thing did revolve in his head, what's to say that he is actually the normal one and everyone else is the freak. No, he is the crazy one and no-one could say otherwise.
