It was a nice and sunny day out and most, who were done with classes and such, were outside either on the pitch, the lake or just hanging out in the courtyard. Not really wanting to do any homework right away, Alexis was one of those people who wanted to be outside. Hogwarts always got so stuffy when it was nice out like it was and so Alexis always tried to find a way to get outside. She stepped out the big oak doors and out onto the lawns of the school, making her way down to the lake area.
Seeing her favorite spot by the beech tree was taken by a couple first years, she, instead of shooing them away, just decided that they were not worth it and found a different spot closer to the waters edge. Most were afraid of Alexis, and if they weren't afraid of her, they were afraid of her father if they crossed her the wrong way and made him upset.
She took a seat and kicked off her shoes, placing her toes in the nice and cool water, looking across at all the activity that was going on.

Lume had been roaming outside by herself like she had always done ever since she had gotten to Hogwarts. Being outside of the school was one of the most peaceful areas that she could be. The air was nice and it gave her a chance to think and be at peace with herself. Removing her shoes she smiled and walked through the grass to the lake area. There she saw a girl that looked like one of her teaches. And then it hit her. Her name was Alexis Snape and she was the daughter to Professor Snape. Smiling she walked over and raised a hand up to the girl as she approached her.
Hello there"

As Alexis was just relaxing and taking in the nice freedom of being done with classes for the day, she watched the trees a bit as a slight breeze picked up; yet it was a warm breeze. She was kind of in her own little world, trying not to think of what had been on her mind lately and such that she did not see or hear the girl approaching her at first. It was until then when she heard the faint voice of the girl saying hi, and when she turned around she saw the firey red hair of a Slytherin, whom Alexis knew as Lumeria; a sixth year.
"Hey," Alexis replied.
