Crispin was dressed in a pair of black leather pants and a black wife beater. His pale skin shone in the moonlight. He was hunting in the Forbidden Forest. Really, he preferred human blood to animal but when on the school grounds, Crispin knew that he had very little choice in the matter. He had been told under no certain terms that if he fed on a student, Voldemort would come down on him with a vengeance. Crispin was not afraid of the man but he did know that one vampire to dozens of deatheaters was not going to produce very good odds for Crispin. So until he could build his own army, Crispin was going to have to play by the rules.
So here he was, stalking a deer through the woods and keeping an eye out for anything that might be stalking him. Crispin was thirsty and his teeth were extended. Any young student who would come across him right now, would run screaming back to the castle and never venture in these woods again. His thirst was stronger here due to the fact that everywhere he went, Crispin could smell human blood. The scent oozed from everyone's pores. Crispin growled now.
It was then that he picked up on another scent. Instantly his mind told him to seek out the scent and attack but he held back for two reasons. One was because the knew the scent. Crispin could not place it but he knew that the scent was familiar. It was just too mingled with other scents as well. Crispin could not make it out. The other reason was because he finally had the deer in his sight again. It had hidden it's self quite well but now Crispin crept closer as he licked his lips.

Christina had been walking the Forbidden Forest for a few hours now. She had already hunted and now she was just walking along the beaten paths of the forest, knowing she would not be bothered by any students for students did not even try to approach the forest, especially at night. She tightly wrapped her cloak around her, underneath being her long dark purple velvety dress. She wondered where Crispin was now-a-days, she missed him. She longed for his touch, his scent...his lips against hers. She had only come to Hogwarts just recently to be the new Ancient Runes professor, and she wondered where her long lost love was and what he was doing, hoping that one day he would make his appearance with her once again.
She missed him so, for it was him that finished her transformation after his father had bitten her out of rage. She loved him and did everything to let him into her life. When he finally did, she longed for his every touch and breath, the lustful thoughts in her mind about him.
As she walked deeper into the forest, she heard movement ahead of her. Since her transformation, she was able to gain the ability of extra senses, being able to feel things close around her more than ever and hear things closer as well. When she heard the movement, she ducked behind a tree, remaining hidden and cautious, with her wand a the ready at her side.

Crispin got ever closer to the deer. Finally as the deer let its attention waiver for a split moment, Crispin moved in. To the human eye, he would have been a blur. And then the deer was down struggling under him as Crispin attacked. His fangs sunk into the warm soft flesh and then the blood was flowing into his mouth. Crispin gagged softly at first as he almost always did with animal blood. It just did not taste as good as human blood did. But it would have to do. It was nourishing enough to let him continue on.
He had drained the animal fairly quickly and then stood wiping his mouth on the back of his hand. There was none spilled. There never was. Crispin was very careful when he fed. He did not like to ruin his clothes and blood was hard to get out of fabric even for a wizard. Crispin would leave the carcass for the carnivores in the forest. Waste not want not. Crispin turned now. That scent was still in the air as he started back for the school.
He had lessons to plan. These students except for a few knew nothing about dueling and the few that did knew too much. That made him wonder just what the students were doing under the Headmasters rather hooked nose. But that did not matter to Crispin. What mattered was how many of them he could bring over onto his side. He already knew there were a few vampire hybrids here. And that could work towards his advantage.
Crispin was walking deep in his own thoughts when he paused. He was being watched. He could feel it like an itch under his skin. 'Who's there?" He asked out loud now. His voice was a low rumble. "Show yourself."

Christina still kept herself hidden behind the tree as Crispin approached where she was closer. She could feel his presence come a lot closer, but did not know who it was exactly that had been out there the same time she had been. She wished Crispin was there by her side, but little did she know that the person asking to reveal themselves was indeed, the love of her life. With her wand at her side and ready and willing, she crept out from behind the tree. Hood up around her head and her cloak wrapped tightly around her, she stepped out delicately.
She kept her head down at first until she completely revealed herself. When she looked up she saw those eyes, that face; the face of Crispin. She was surprised and happy at the same time when she saw that it was him. "Crispin? Is that you? Is it really you," she replied shocked, yet very delighted to see the love that she had loved forever and for always, "How long have you been here? At Hogwarts I mean?"

Crispin watched as the figure stepped out from behind the tree. He stood where he was and waited. Crispin could not see her face with the cloak she wore. He snarled softly and then pulled out his wand and started towards her. He was silent when she glanced up and cried "Crispin? Is that you? Is it really you," Crispin frowned slightly. That voice... it sounded like... but no... it couldn't be. Crispin's face showed his disbelieving. He had not seen her in years...many years. "How long have you been here? At Hogwarts I mean?" Crispin still stood there silent and stunned. "...christina?" Crispin whispered now ignoring her questions. He stepped closer to her slowly and cautiously. "How? When?" He asked now.
He had reached her now and Crispin pushed her hood back from her face. Her beautiful face came into view and Crispin sighed blissfully. "Christina.." He said again. His hands moved to cup her face and now without a further word, he kissed her. The kiss was so forceful that it would have pushed her from her feet it they had not both been vampires and he had not been holding onto her. When he released her lips, Crispin pressed his forehead against hers. "What are you doing here?" He moaned. "Its not safe for you to be here. It's not safe for you to be anywhere around me." Crispin worried about his father. Not for himself because Crispin did not fear Johnathan. But for Christina. "You need to go..." He told her but still did not release her face." He kissed her again now.

It was him, the one that Christina had loved and would always love, Crispin. As he reached and pushed her hood back, revealing her face, she looked into his eyes as he cupped her face with his hands. The kiss lingered on for what seemed forever, and it was forceful. "I-I am a professor here at Hogwarts, Ancient Runes," she replied, "Not safe here? I am with you now, and with you, I always feel safe."
It was indeed true, she had always felt safe with Crispin, even when she was in her human form many years ago. His father had been the unsafe one, but she did not fear him anymore, for she was like Crispin and knew that no one could hurt her now. "No! I won't go...I can't go...I cannot leave you again, it has been so long. I want to stay with you, be with you...forever," she replied kissing him again.

A Professor? What were the odds of that? What was he going to do? When she refused to leave him, Crispin's cold heart felt like it was going to break. He broke the kiss and his his arms encircled her holding her to him. "You can not stay." He whispered. "The last time I let you get to close you got hurt...I can't allow it again. You are not safe with me." His words displayed his urge for her to leave him and yet he did not release her. He was torn. His love for this woman was great. It always had been.
"You must leave." Crispin ran a hand through her hair lovingly. His Christina. He life and source of happiness. It had been so long since he had smelled her scent and felt her pressed up against him. He never wanted to let her go. The fact of this angered him. Why must he be so weak? Why could he not do what was right. This was how his father had gotten to her in the first place. It had been Crispin's fault. If he had been stronger and had pushed her away, she would have remained human.

Christina refused to leave. She did not want to lost Crispin and never see him again. "Crispin, love, I cannot leave you. You are my soulmate...the one I am destined to be with," she started pausing a bit, "Besides I hear you are professor here as well, so it looks like we are stuck here together; but of course I find it lovely I am here at Hogwarts with you, together again."
She kissed him again, pressing her lips against his with such passion and force. She definately was weak around Crispin, as he was with her, for she did not want to leave; she couldn't leave.

"Crispin, love, I cannot leave you. You are my soul mate...the one I am destined to be with," She told him and Crispin looked away with a scowl. Weak... his mind shouted at him repeatedly until it was like an echo in his skull. Why did she love him so much? He was not a good person. He was cold and cruel and dangerous. Her resistance to walk away angered him.
"Besides I hear you are professor here as well, so it looks like we are stuck here together; but of course I find it lovely I am here at Hogwarts with you, together again." She continued and Crispin knew that this much was true. If she was a professor here, he had no right to take that away from her. As well, the Dark Lord would never let him leave. When she kissed him now, Crispin was of course lost in the sensation. He had simply gone too long without her touch. Her scent. Her caresses.
But that all did not change the fact that her presence here, the danger she had put herself in angered him. When the kiss broke, he took her hand and started walking towards the edge of the forest.
He did not look at her as he spoke. "If you insist on remaining here then you will at least stay out of this place." He ordered. "You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into. Why could you have not been smart and stayed away?" His voice was sharp but worried.

As Christina just stood there, her eyes turning cold-looking, she thought to herself on how Crispin could be so stubborn. How could he try and shove her away like this. She loved him...he was her life now and she would stop at nothing to make him show that. His sent, his touch, his longing for her deep down was all that she could think of when she was around him. Sure, being professors at the same school would not stop them from seeing each other everyday, but the two of them together now was different, there was tension and love all wrapped up in one bundle.
"If you insist on remaining here then you will at least stay out of this place." He ordered. "You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into. Why could you have not been smart and stayed away?" His voice was sharp but worried.
Stay away? She could not stay away from Crispin, she loved him oh so very much and wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of forever with him. "What? How can you say such a thing? I love you! I want to spend forever with you," she replied with a hint of anger in her voice. She turned her back for a few moments before turning towards him again, eyes dark and cold.
"Why are you so keen to pushing me out of your life? Do you want me gone? Is there some other interest that you have," she said quickly coming to if Crispin had another love, another woman.

"Why are you so keen to pushing me out of your life? Do you want me gone? Is there some other interest that you have," She asked him now. Her voice was angry and fast. Crispin turned back now and looked at her with his emotions hidden. "How could you ask me that?" Crispin asked with a growl.
Yes he had had other lovers. But none that he had really let get too close to him. He had made that mistake once and only once. He would never let a human die for him again. Even if they were immortal afterwards. He knew from experience that immortality was not something anyone should be made to suffer through.
"There is no other." He told her now. "There a war coming. A serious war. This is not a safe place for you. I am on his side Cristina. At least that is what I allow him to believe. I plan to fight my own war. It is not a same place for you. I want you leave me. I want you to be safe." He had no idea if she knew of Gemma yet. If she knew that he was working with the girl. Training her. The girl would be the weapon he needed.

Christina heard the anger in Crispin's voice; which is not what she wanted. She did not want him angry at her. She just wanted to understand why...why was he so keen to push her away from him. She did not want to leave...whatever it took, she would find a way to be with him; forever.
"Crispin, I am sorry that I angered you in thinking there was someone else. It was wrong of me to think that," she replied pausing a bit, "And yes, I know there is a war coming...a serious war. You are so independent with your choices that I know you too well, that you try to do everything on your own..including fighting all your battles."
She stepped around him; facing him, "But I am not leaving you...I will not...I refuse to. I will be by your side however long I have too. Just please, allow me too. I do not want to leave you."
Christina turned her back a moment, holding back the tears forming in her eyes, but she could not leave him...not then and now...she would stay, however long she could.
