Hannah had decided to take the risk of wondering around Hogwarts alone. She needed a break from her fellow Hufflepuffs. She loved them all dearly but sometimes they were a bit overbearing. She just wanted to be able to sit somewhere in piece. Then it hit here the Room of Requirements, the perfect place where no one would find her.
She made her way up to the Room of Requirements making sure she wasn’t being fallowed. She closed herself in the room and wonder farther in. She soon realized she had gotten lost in all the clutter. She sighed; at least no one would find her.
She took out her journal from her bag and started write with her favourite quill. She could finally write without someone reading it over her shoulder.

Neville knew that he had something that he had to do today, but he had forgotten what he had to do. Ever since his 2nd year, Neville always carried around his remembrall in his left pocket. He grabbed onto it and pulled it out and of course it was red. "I knew did understand this damb thing" he scuffed to himself. "What is the point of it when you can't remember what you have forgotten" again he scuffed to himself.
He was walking down the corridor as a very familiar door appeared. It usually only appeared for a reason. Neville stopped and took a step back until it fully bloomed. He then looked to the right and then to the left. He walked inside and the door dissapeared behind him leaving no trace of anything. The room was quite magnificant to anyone that entered it.
Neville, with his mouth open looked up and down the room while walking forward. There were tonnes of things in here, from jewlery to pots, to picture frames, and books and so much more. Neville had no idea why he was here, and why the door appeared but it usually had a purpose. Neville kept walking and managed to turn a corner in the clutter and wonder further. He went so far that it looked like he had gotten lost.
He looked over and down to his left before turning around and he was startled. He jumped so high and squealed loudly in fright, as there was Hannah crouching there writing on what appeared to be a journal of some kind. "Hannah...what in the bloody he...", he said with barley any breath. "You scared me...what are you doing here?" he asked her. He grabbed his head and looked around and sputtered, "Nevermind that....what am I doing here?" he said jokingly.

Hannah dropped her quill when she heard someone squeal. She was use to squealing thanks to Susan. She wasn't really that started just worried it was one of her housemates. She looked up from her journal to see it was Neville, she let out a sigh of relief.
At least she didn't have to find a new hiding spot. She closed her journal not wanting anyone to see what was in it even if it was Neville. She didn't want anyone to know the dark thoughts she had been having the past year, she didn't even want to know about them.
"I don't know why you are here but I'm here to escape my housemates. Do you have any idea how annoying Hufflepuffs get when they are worried?" asked Hannah "of course, not, it's not like you live with them." Hannah paused ashamed of her outburst. "I'm sorry Neville, I didn't mean to sound like that. I'm just stressed," she truly apologetic. "Why don't you join me," she said patting a spot on the floor next to her.

Neville watched as his actions freaked Hannah out a bit. He glanced at her while her eyes met his while she started to get a bit hystarical towards him. "I don't know why you are here but I'm here to escape my housemates", she said to him in all seriousness. " Do you have any idea how annoying Hufflepuffs get when they are worried?", she asked Neville, as he shook his head at her with a negative motion. "Of course, not, it's not like you live with them." she spoke again, while Neville just stood there and listened. " I'm sorry Neville, I didn't mean to sound like that. I'm just stressed".
Neville stood there looking at Hannah and was wondering what to say, and before he could say anything she spoke again. "Why don't you join me," she said patting a spot on the floor next to her. "Neville then crouched onto the floor next to her and wondered why on earth they were there. "Are you planning on staying here all day?", he asked her jokingly.
Neville sat there for a bit an pulled out his remembrall and looked at it as it was still red. "I really wish I could remember what it was that I had to do today...but it reallynhas left my mind" he said to her holding his head for a bit. "What is so bad about the way the Hufflepuffs are acting with you?" he asked her, as he put his school bag on his lap and held it tight.

Hannah moved over a bit to give Neville more room. She slipped her stuff in her bag for safe keeper, she could easily lose it in here. She tried to think of what to say.
"I'll stay here until the normal time the Hufflepuffs go to bed. They actually all go to bed at the same time, it's quite entertaining," said Hannah.
She tried to think of what Neville could have forgotten, she didn't want him to worry about it all day. She knew he would worry about it.
"Did you do your charms homework?" she asked. "Well, Susan is always nagging not to mention she is constantly arguing with people about nothing because she is so worried about Justin. The guys sulk around the Common Room because they miss Justin. The younger badgers are always clinging to the older students afraid that Death Eaters will burst into the Common Room. Leanne is the only one who isn't driving my crazy."
Hannah took a deep breath after her long winded speech. She hoped Neville understood what she had said since it came out very quickly.

Neville had a bit more room as Hannah was quite nice to move over and give him a bit more room, but he really didn't mind as he liked Hannah very much. "Thanks" he replied as she started to talk about the Ravenclaw house. She seemed quite upset and stressed about it and obviously needed some time to herself.
"Well you can't stay in here all day" he said to her with a bit of a laugh. 'My friend Luna is a Ravenclaw and she is quite stable, have you ever though about being freinds with her...she's not like other students period" he said to her to try and give her some reasurrence.
Neville then got an idea, as she obviously needed to get out and do something. "Hey Hannah...do you want to go to Hogsmeade and get a butter beer or pumpkin juice or something?" he asked her all shy like, as he wasn't very good at asking girls anything. "At least that way you are away from everyone and everything...you would be wit me!" he said with a smile as he started to stand up.

Hannah smiled at Neville, she had always stayed close to her own house for the most part but maybe it was time for change. She hadn't really thought about it before but she wasn't exactly the same person as she had been before though.
"I might talk to her sometime," she said, as her shoulders relaxed a bit.
She had fiddled with her bag while she listen to Neville talk. She didn't really know how to act with anyone these days, she had a very limited people she had contact with during the summer. She looked up as Neville started to get up.
"That sounds like fun. This place is a bit dark and crowded," she said pushing up off of the floor. Her legs a bit numb and jelly like as she stood up.

Neville was excited that she agreed to go with him to Hogmeade, as he held out his hands for her to grab hold of as she was getting up....for balance of course. "Good...now lets get out of this room..it gives me the creeps for some reason" he said to her. "Let's take the shortcut down to the grounds", he insisted to her.
Once down at the grounds he coudn't help but ask her how she was feeling about the dark lord's return and how it was affecting her. She was so consummed with how everyone else was and it didn't seem that she cared all that much.
There they were infront of Hogsmeade, and Neville quickly opened the door for Hannah. "After you" he said to her with a smile. He was really starting to fall for Hannah and fast. He picked out a table by the fireplace and pulled out her chair for her while he made his way to the other side.
He shouted at the barkeep quite loudly as he liked to be heard, "two butter beer's please" as he then looked at Hannah and thanked her for comming.

Hannah fallowed closely behind Neville. She wouldn't say it out loud but she felt safe with Neville. She was excited to be with Neville after not being able to see him after so long. She hadn't been able to even write to him.
She couldn't find the words to talk about the Dark Lord. She just couldn't do it yet, not after last year and this summer. She hadn't really told anyone how scared she was or about the part of her that wanted him to rot in hell. She bit her lip wondering if she should tell Neville or not.
She smiled as Neville opened the door for her. He had always been quite a gentlemen. She had been out with guys before but she didn't really count them. None of them ever treated her like Neville does to her. She sat down in the chair Neville had pulled out for her.
"Neville, it's a pleasure to come here with you. You don't have to thank me but your welcome anyways," she said blushing a bright red.
She finally found the courage to move her mouth again. "How as your summer?" she asked. She didn't really want him to ask that first, it would ruin the mood. This was the first chance she had ever been anywhere alone with Neville and she wasn't going to ruin it.

He could see that Hannah didn't want to talk about the Dark Lord since there was nothing but silence after he asked, so he thought it wasn't a good idea to even mention it. Neeville was about to ask another one of his nervous silly questions when Hannah beat him to the punch.
"Hoow was your summer?", she asked, as Neville sat there and pondered for a bit thinking back to his summer vacation. "Well....I really worried myself to death about this year, with everything going on with you know who" he said in a whisper. "But either than that...I read alot and tried to live life as much as possible...before it get's taken away from me at any time.", he said to her with alot of worry. "And you?" he asked back with his cute goofy smile.
Their butter beer's came as they looked really yummy. Neville hadn't had a butter beer in quite awhile, as he had lost his appatite with all the stress of their wizarding world was comming to a end. Neville picked up his glass and raised it high in the air, and looked at Hannah with a smile. "To new beginnings" he said to her as he gave her a little wink and took a sip to celebrate.

Hannah thought back to her crazy summer. From being stalked by Death Eaters to being kicked out by her father. She chocked at the fact that Neville would find out of her little problem she had before she came back to school, she didn't want to see his reaction to that.
"Crazy. I got my own apartment now. I spent most of it working at the Leaky Cauldron and a little muggle cafe," she said.
She picked up her butterbeer. She cheered with Neville. When she went to take a swig she let out a giggle forgetting she was drinking her butterbeer. She coughed a little on the butterbeer. When she sat it down she had foam on her nose.

Neville seen the foam resting on her nose after she took a swig of her butter beer. Neville then took his finger and pointed it at her first, and then wiped it off her nose and laughed a bit about it. "Your own apartment...really?" he said to her, as he was excited that she was very independent.
Neville then got this look on his face, and then raised his hand up in the air and then smashed it back down on the table. "I remember now what it was that I had forgotten!", he said to her like he was proud of himself. "I was on my way to talk to Luna about that carnival that is supposed to be tonight at Hogsmeade", he said to her with even more excitement.
He looked at Hannah and took another sip of his butter beer, then wiped his mouth, and then popped the question. "Hey Hannah, would you like to be my date at the carnival tonight...by any chance would ya?", he asked her with a bit of hesitation in hopes that she wouldn't say no to his proposal.

Hannah was already blushing from having foam on her nose. It could tell Neville was excited to know she had her own apartment. She was starting to get giggly from the caffeine in the butter beer. She was fighting for control of her laughter.
Hannah giggled at Neville's attics. She knew she was starting to fall for him, hard and fast. He was perfectly imperfect. She also felt like she could trust him with her life. "I knew you would remember," she said smiling, proud that he had figured it out on his own.
She was stunned at first when she realized what he was asking her. She couldn't believe Neville was asking her out on a date. She didn't know that he felt anything like that toward her. She had always thought he was like Ernie and saw her just as a friend.
"I'd love to," she beamed after finding the words to speak.

Neville jumped a bit due to her response, and he really wasn't expecting her to say yes at all. He had to almost double blink he was so shocked and he had no clue she had felt the same way. What was this?, Neville longbottom was going on a date?.
"Really", he sputtered with nervousness. He took a big swig of his butter beer, finishing what was left in his glass. "Alright how does this sound?", he asked her as he wiped the foam off of his mouth and then grabbed her two hands in his.
"Why don't we meet on the grounds at around 7:00pm tonight and we will walk to Hogsmeade together?" he asked, as he though that she might not like that idea but he was just going with the flow in hopes that she would still be interested.
Neville looked at his watch, as it read 4:30pm. "We should get going as it's almost dinner time in the great hall...are you going my way?" he asked her with the biggest smile anyone has ever seen.

Hannah stared at his hands holding hers for the longest of time. She could feel her heart skipping beats as he spoke. She hadn't felt anything like this before. She almost screamed yes before he even finished talking.
"I'd still love to go with you. That should give me time to get ready," she said not meaning to say ending part out loud.
"I guess you're right," she said a bit disappointed she'd have to leave Neville but then became excited again when he offered to walk together there "I really don't have anywhere else to go so we can walk there together."
