It was official. Ophelia Faye Retchford had managed to get completely lost in the Dungeons of Hogwarts Castle. She sighed as she turned down yet another corridor. She had been on her way to...well, she wasn't even sure how she got herself lost. She was leaving a potions lesson, and she started thinking about things, and, well, here she was. Lost.
Get lost in thought, get lost in reality...
She walked down the corridor. Dead end. 'You have got to be kidding me.' She turned again on her heals and began walking. She walked for only Merlin knows how long. She was getting hungry and as much as she hated to admit it to herself, she was getting a little nervous. She began to walk faster, and when that got her nowhere she began to run. She ran faster and faster. Turning corner after corner, hitting dead end after dead end. When she came to yet another dead end she stopped and closed her eyes. She released her pent up anger by punching the wall.
"Shoot!" She said out loud and cradled her injured hand to her chest. "You are better then this, Ophelia. You are calmer and smarter then this. You are not an emotion driven Gryffindor. Deep breaths. You can handle anything. If you can handle your brother killing your parents and becoming an assassin for the Dark Lord, you can handle being lost in the Dungeons." Her eyes popped open and she looked around, hoping no one had heard what she said out lout. She rolled her eyes at herself. "You are lost in the Dungeons. No one is going to hear you." She muttered to herself.
With new found confidence, Ophelia began to walk. It paid off. She finally came to an abandoned classroom. She wasn't sure how close she was to the ground floor or to the Potions classroom. She had to have been walking for at least a few hours now. She walked into the room and put her stuff down at the abandoned desk at the front of the room. She plopped down in the seat. Maybe being lost would be good in a way. An escape. She wanted to pull out her notepad to draw, but she had run out of parchment and was going to have to place an order for a new drawing pad.
"This is ridiculous. I give up." She dropped her head onto her folded arms on the desk.

Today, Rhye felt like spicing it up.
Well, spicing it up, but also for a purpose. The Ravenclaw had left his book in Snape's classroom, and since it was his Free Period, he would take the scenic route back to retrieve it.
Once the young boy entered the classroom, Snape, whilst in the middle of the lesson, sent him a death glare. A couple words in a bitter tone passed from his lips, and Rhye not being the one to stay, turned on the balls of his feet and sped out after snatching his book.
He heard something along the lines threatening to take points from Ravenclaw- but who really cared? Not Rhye!
With his backpack on one shoulder, his book tucked in lazily, Rhye headed down the corridor slowly, looking out around corners for anything creepy before he headed that way. He wasn't looking to stay down here much longer, but that's when a voice drifted from one of the old classrooms and stopped him.
"This is ridiculous. I give up."
He wrapped his fingers around the opening of the door, peeking his head around to see Ophelia slumped over on the desk, seemingly tired and lost. Poor girl. He guessed she didn't know the dungeons as well as she should have.
He walked in quietly, as if he were attempting to eventually scare her. He stood behind her, hands in his jean pockets, his snug white button up fitting properly enough so one could see his muscles through the sleeves. He looked like a pretty boy today- he even sported his Ravenclaw scarf and a yellow earring to match. The Ravenclaw colors fit him nicely.
Rhye coughed, a smug smile on his face would greet her when she'd turn. "What happened? Did you get lost or are you THAT late for class?"

"What happened? Did you get lost or are you THAT late for class?"
Ophelia jumped up from the chair and turned to see Rhye. Relief washed over her and with a sob she threw her arms around Rhye's neck and held on tight.
'No, Ophelia. Release the cute Ravenclaw.' She chastised herself and pulled back quickly and awkwardly. She turned her back on Rhye and wiped her eyes casually, not believing she had allowed her usually very guarded self to show those emotions. She walked around the desk and picked up her stuff, squeezing it to her tightly, in a form of comfort.
"I got lost. Very lost. I really have no idea how long I've been gone. I hate these Dungeons." She shook herself in attempts to shake away the scared feeling she had refused to admit to herself earlier. "I am so lost it's not even humorous. How deep do these dungeons go? Are there dangerous things lurking about? Is it really safe for students to be wondering around down here?" She rambled. She shivered from the coldness that had seemed into her bones from the depths of the Dungeons.

For the brief moment he had her that close to him, he savored it. Rhye was a big hugger, a great comforter, and someone to turn to if you weren't feeling good. He wrapped his arms around her and smiled to himself, burrowing his face into her hair until he felt her pull away quickly.
Why doesn't she like to be around me for too long? Do I stink? Rhye shook his head to himself slowly, adjusting the straps on his backpack while she gathered her things. Once she faced him again, she confessed her troubles.
"I got lost. Very lost. I really have no idea how long I've been gone. I hate these Dungeons."
He couldn't help but go 'Awww' silently, to himself, as she explained. He felt so bad for her. "Am I going to have to escort you everywhere? You shouldn't be alone, apparently. Stealing spots, getting late.." He gave her a friendly smile and offered his elbow to her so she could take his arm and he could guide her.
"I am so lost it's not even humorous. How deep do these dungeons go? Are there dangerous things lurking about? Is it really safe for students to be wondering around down here?"
He laughed again, softly so as not to make her mad. He didn't like the dungeons either, but he had to be down here. Everyone did. Rhye walked with her out of the room slowly, explaining where she came from- where Snape's class was that she had come from- and where she needed to go.
"The dungeons aren't so bad. Nothing down here to hurt you- it is just creepy as hell." Rhye looked down at her. He felt like her knight in shining armor, saving the princess from a dark dungeon. Just maybe she'd let him be that for a long time. He'd gladly do it.

Ophelia returned Rhye's smile, finding humor in his words and glad he hadn't brought up what happened after she panicked and ran off from the library. She gratefully took his arm and relaxed as he lead her out of the classroom. She focused intently on his words as he pointed out where they were and how far from the ground floor they were. She relaxed her head against his shoulder and sighed contently. Rhye was like her rock. As much as she was afraid to be vulnerable, and as scared as she was that she was putting Rhye in danger, she couldn't help but recognize the chaotic stability he added by being in her life. He was a constant. She could always count on him to be unpredictable. She just didn't think it was fair to him to put him in danger. It was selfish...wasn't it?
"The dungeons aren't so bad. Nothing down here to hurt you- it is just creepy as hell."
"Indeed it is. There are strange Ravenclaw's wondering about." She said with a completely serious tone of voice. "Where exactly are you leading me now?"

The Ravenclaw leaned his head on her head, walking in basically a big circle so he could spend time with her- but she obviously wouldn't realize since she had gotten lost in the first place.
"Indeed it is. There are strange Ravenclaw's wondering about." She said with a completely serious tone of voice.
Rhye held the area where his heart was. "Ouch!" He turned to look at her, his elbow still in her possession. "You're so mean." He looked down, his eyebrows creasing like he was about to start crying. "I come to rescue you and you make fun of me."
"Where exactly are you leading me now?"
He shrugged, looking at her with a blank expression, until a smirk appeared. "I'm leading you into further chaos. You wanna know how? I am completely lost now."
Rhye looked around, pretending to be really panicking. "I don't know what turn we took but it was a wrong one." He looked back down to her to see if she was freaking out yet.

Ophelia pulled back some to look at him. "Awe don't say that." She bought her free right hand up across his chest to stroke the left side of his cheek and she stood up on her tiptoes to place a ghost of a kiss on his right cheek. She let her heels fall to the floor and she smiled unabashedly up at him.
"Where exactly are you leading me now?"
He shrugged, looking at her with a blank expression, until a smirk appeared. "I'm leading you into further chaos. You wanna know how? I am completely lost now." Ophelia watched as he turned looking around in all sorts of directions. She smirked as he said, "I don't know what turn we took but it was a wrong one." Her face was completely serious when he looked down at to, she assumed, judge her reaction.
'I'll show him.'
"As long as I'm lost with you." She said in a corny feigned dreamy voice, and she moved from his side to wrap her arms around his back and rest her head comfortably on his chest. It was a bold move, but she had finally come to realize that her brother could not control her life. She had been pleasantly surprised when Rhye hadn't looked at her in horror after he found everything out about her past. She closed her eyes and smiled happily.

"You are bloody right, as long as you're with me." He cackled, mocking her back. The two were always teasing, and it was so healthy for him to be able to do that in a relationship like this. Rhye was so used to being quiet and being proper around other girls- Ophelia was something new and different, but he loved every second of it.
The pair continued in one more big circle until he finally led her to the steps leading up to the ground floor where a flooding of light could be seen. He led her into it but turned his back to the light so he could block it out for her. He didn't want her opening her eyes and getting blinded. Rhye nudged her a little bit and winked at her. "Here, get on my back."
The boy bent over, allowing her to jump onto his back at that height. "I want to carry you." He looked over his shoulder with another famous goofy grin of his, waiting on her to hitch a ride.

Ophelia laughed and grinned wildly at Rhye's request. This is why she loved him...though the specific words had not been said, that's how she felt. He wiggled his eyes at her, as if encouraging her to hurry. She laughed a loudly and her voice rung out beautifully against the stone walls. Without a second thought, and how much trouble they might get in for doing this, she hopped onto his back and latched on.
She couldn't help but feel bliss when she was in his presence. He was perfect for her in every way. She brought stability into her life, and he was just so damn good looking. Her mother would have approved. She was coming to terms with her parents death, of course Rhye helped her with that. She cleared her mind of any potential sad thoughts and focused on the wonderful man who fell into her life at the most perfect time imaginable. Merlin was definitely looking over her the day she found herself in Rhye's, and now hers as well, reading spot.

"Hi Ho Silver, AWAY!" He hollered, once he felt her legs against his hips. He held her legs against him as he ran up the steps, prancing around on the school grounds like a show-horse, his smile all teeth.
Rhye didn't care at all for the teachers. He was usually a good kid, and most people didn't have the heart to punish that goofy grin. He definitely had a hold on most people that he came into contact with. He was born a muggle, but he was a damn good wizard at charming his way through life and school.
He slowed down after about ten minutes of running up and down the Hogwarts pillars outside, and let Ophelia down on her feet, both of them probably laughing to death, or at the least, extreme exhaustion. He grabbed her in his arms and smiled down at her, moving her hair out of her eyes so he could kiss her forehead. He was such a charmer.

Ophelia laughed as Rhye took off running, around the Hogwarts grounds yelling and laughing. She watched other students watch them with a mixture of disgust, amusement, and jealousy. Once he was finished he set her down. She found herself once again within the safety of his embrace and smiled when she felt his delicate warm lips touch her forehead in a spot that pretty much become his to claim, she laughed to herself.
Ophelia rested her head against Rhye's chest like normal and traced the Ravenclaw emblem on his chest with her right hand delicately. "It's a nice day, isn't it?" She asked serenely. Her stomach growled loudly and she laughed out loud.
