Bay walked into the Ministry with her head down, trying to avoid eye contact with most of the workers who she new for certain, or suspected, to be in the Dark Lord's ranks. She quickly made her way to the fifth floor without being noticed, but as the fifth floor was in fact the floor she ran, she couldn't avoid everyone for long.
She was soon bombarded with people asking her how she was feeling and needing to talk to her about reports that had been submitted and needed approvals and edits. She held up her hands, still feeling under the weather, but had to get back to work less she get so far behind in her paperwork.
"All right! If you need to see me you need to make an appointment with my secretary Joanne." She pushed through the crowd and down the hallway. She stopped at her door and smiled half-heartedly at the name plate on it.
She sighed. The job shouldn't be hers. She was too young to have gotten this far so quickly. But with the take over at the Ministry and the firing of the previous head, to whom she was the secretary of, she was the one chosen for the job. She enjoyed it all right, and it helped her with her role in the Order. So the really couldn't complain.
As soon as she took a seat at her large oak desk she sneezed. 'Damn this cold.' She dropped her head onto her desk when her floo flared to life. Her head popped up and she stood quickly and uneasily.
Bay recognized the Wizard that entered the room. He was the British correspondent at the Russian Ministry. They had been working together to capture someone who was wanted in Britain.
"Please tell me you have him in custody." She said relieved. That would be one less thing she had to worry about.
"You will need to send someone to retrieve him." He stepped up to the desk. Bay nodded seriously.
"I will see to that right away." He handed her some paperwork that would need to be filled out and returned. "Thank you for cooperating with us." She smiled sincerely and shook the man's hand before he left through the floo.
