Adam made his way out to The Black Lake, a large grin plastered on his face. He had an acoustic guitar strapped to his back and a plastic picnic basket tucked under his arm. What he had in mind was a few weeks in the making. It would be worth it though. He was starting to take an interest in the new girl he had met a couple months ago. His demon was even starting to like her. He-the demon, not Adam.- still snickered at her but Adam was ignoring him. That brute didn't like anyone. Okay, stop poking him. Adam told himself. He shook his head a couple times and found a shady tree near the banks. That's were he had met her. He was just minding his own business when she fumbled over his out stretched out the legs.
Adam knelt to the ground and started pulling things out and setting them into their places. He flicked his wrist up to check his watch. He had asked Delilah to meet him at the lake around sixth if she wasn't to tired to. He pushed himself up and brought the guitar to his side He nudged it to the side of the white blanket and sighed.
All he had to do now was wait.

Delilah had no idea what was in store. When Adam had asked her to meet his at the lake this evening. She had smiled and agreed of course. Delilah had taken quite a liking to Adam. He confided in her and she was starting to think that she could do the same but had not yet taken that step.
So here she was walking down the staircase to the ground floor. She was dressed in a pair of black tights and a long white turtle neck sweater. It was chilly outside and she was heading for the lake after all. Her hair was piled on the back of her head in a messy bun. She looked and felt comfortable.
Delilah left the school now and started towards the lake. The sun was setting and it was pretty out. She was surprised that there were not more people enjoying tonight. It was not hard to find Adam. Delilah smiled realizing that this was where they had met.
"Hello." She said softly stopping just short of the blanket. Her eyes took in the basket and the guitar and then she met his eyes questioningly. She took it upon herself to sit slowly beside him and tuck her legs up under her.

Adam moved over to her and smiled. He sat down beside her and rested back on his hands. he folded his legs under his body. The sky had turned a pale pink color, queuing a soft breeze to play across the grassy lawn and the crickets to start singing to the plants around them. The scene was turning out to be prettier then he could have imagined. Adam didn't mind the breeze at all. It felt kind of good to him.
" Good evening. " He said. He read the question in her eyes. He was going to get to why he had asked her out here in a second. Adam picked up a goblet of pumpkin juice and handed it to her. He grabbed the other one and took a small sip. Adam's eyes drifted over to the guitar. He leaned across the blanket and picked it up by the neck. He was careful with it. Adam settled it into his lap and turned his eyes back to her.
" I've been working on this song for a bit. " He said with a little smile. He leaned over and brushed his lips over her forehead. " I hope you enjoy it. "
When he finished his song, the werewolf looked up up at her, waiting for her response, studying her face.

Delilah smiled as he moved close to her and she took the offered drink. They had not had pumpkin juice back home. She quite liked it. She took a sip from the goblet and then watched as Adam took up the guitar. She knew that he had played but had never heard him before.
Delilah felt a twitch of happiness. She smiled at him softly when he looked at her and that smile grew as he spoke. " I've been working on this song for a bit. " He told her and Delilah's hand caressed the side of his face when he kissed her. " I hope you enjoy it. " A song for her? It did not matter what the song was...she would enjoy it. Then he started to play and she was amazed.
The tune was beautiful and when he started singing, Delilah could not keep the smile from her face. Her eyes moved from his face to his hands and back again. She felt tears come to her eyes. She took a sip of her juice to try and stop herself from crying. She listened closely to the words. She did not noticed but some of the other people on the grass stopped to listen as well.
When the song was over, Adam looked back up at her and Delilah shook her head softly. "Adam," She said softly. "You truly feel this way?" Her eyes glistened. She leaned towards him now and took his face in her hands. Delilah kissed him for the first time. The kiss was sweet and gentle but spoke a million words... It lingered before sat back. "I love you too." She whispered and then smiled again.

Adam hadn't noticed the people around them until some starting clapping for the song. Even with the outside noise, he didn't take his eyes off the girl in front of him. He reached up and brushed her cheeks free of the tears rolling down them. He ran his thumb across her cheek and lowered his mouth to return her kiss. Adam put the same softness and tenderness into his return as she did. When she moved away, he laid his forehead over hers and smiled.
He was glad she liked it. He had put his everything into the song. Every little note and every little melody that was created was because of he and his feelings towards this female. This glistening in her brown eyes made it all worth it.
" Yes, with all my heart, Delilah. I mean every word. " Adam spoke softly. He didn't hold her there when she sat back.

" Yes, with all my heart, Delilah. I mean every word. " He told her and Delilah gave a gentle smile. She could not believe that she had found someone like him. She knew she loved him as well.
It was hard to think that not really very long ago, she had felt so alone here. She had had no one. Even her parents could not really converse with her. That made her wonder what her parents would think of this. Of their daughter with a werewolf. But she shook her head. hey would be happy for her. And if not... it was her life.
Delilah met his eyes again and then moved closer to him. She cuddled against his side. "Thank you so much." She told him in a soft voice. "mi prÃncipe."* She added in Spanish and then Delilah kissed the side of his throat softly. She looked out over the lake now. The sun had set and the moon was up. Delilah watched the silver reflection on the water.

Adam wrapped his strong arms around her waist and moved her so her back was pressed against his chest. He laid his head against her shoulder and looked out at the lake with her. If this was bliss, he wanted to stay like this for as long as possible. He didn't want to move.
His mother would be happy he had someone who made him this happy. His mother was happy anyone excepted him and all his little quirks. He looked out at the moonlight shimmering off the waters surface. He was a long time away from the full moon, far away from turning into the thing that scared him. " I would do anything to see you smile, mi princessa. " He whispered.

Delilah let him turn her around. He trusted him completely but even so, goose bumps raised on her arms and legs as his head moved to her shoulder. She leaned slightly against him feeling his body against her. " I would do anything to see you smile, mi princessa. " He told her and Delilah blushed.
She lifted one hand and placed it on the back of his neck. Her fingers massaged his skin slowly as she looked over the lake. She was happy here. Delilah felt at peace. No one was going to interrupt this for her right now. She was vaguely aware of other students near by but Delilah did not worry about them. All that mattered right now were her and Adam.
He loved her... The though brought a small smile to her face. She focused on the warmth of his body and the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. Could anything be more perfect?

Adam didn't notice students stopping and looking. he didn't really notice the crickets and their songs at the moment. He lowered his head against her shoulder, passing his lips over the soft skin of her neck. His arms held her tighter. he didn't want her to move. He was in a hapy state right here.
Adam started to hum the song he had put together for her uner his breath. He felt like acting silly around her but held back because he didn't want to scare her off. Or would she laugh at him> It was a toss up but the coin landed on sane. " I love you, I've loved you all along. " He whispered in her ear. ( Sorry it's so short. )
