Ophelia watched as Charles' potion began to look decent. Now the others at the table would be able to work without fear of being poisoned by the fumes.
”Way to represent, bro.” Charles glared and Ophelia laughed out loud and then winced, hoping she hadn't been too loud.
With a sly smirk she said to Charles, "Maybe I should have been in Ravenclaw and you in Hufflepuff, hmm?" She teased. Ophelia looked down at her almost complete potion, time seemed to be almost up and she thought she would manage a near perfect potion. While she waited for her potion to simmer, she slipped out her drawing pad and began to draw. She looked up at Rhye and watched him buzz around his cauldron in a hasty manner. She began to draw him.
It didn't take Ophelia long to complete her drawing, it never did, and she tore the page out and folded it up. She watched with more amusement as time drew closer to end and Rhye was still working on his potion.
'No way he will pull off a perfect potion after coming as late as he had.' There was one more ingredient she needed to add, so she slid off of her stool and headed towards the potions cupboard behind Rhye. As she passed him she slipped him her drawing onto his workbench and kept walking. On the way back she glanced into his cauldron and stopped dead in her tracks. It looked near perfect. She knew Rhye loved potions, but he also seemed to be a natural. That made her like him all that much more. She shook her head at all he had accomplished so quickly.
"I hate you so much right now." She muttered teasingly when she was close enough. She continued on to her workbench to complete her potion.

Finishing up another perfect potion, Rhye looked up from his table to see Charles' concoction doing much better with Ophelia's help. He winked at Ophelia when he got the chance and sat back in his seat, waiting to be judged by Snape. He knew he would get in trouble by Snape sooner or later, and today would be it. Rhye was pretty sure that paper ball confirmed the docking of Ravenclaw points if the teacher had happened to see- and Snape saw all things.
"I hate you so much right now." She muttered teasingly when she was close enough.
Rhye smirked. He noticed that she slipped him a piece of paper after she had been drawing. Rhye raised his hand bravely, nonchalantly slipping the paper Ophelia gave him into his cardigan's pocket.
"Might I just add- if you are planning to dock points from Ravenclaw- I am solely to blame." He professed to Snape, when he would have called on him. He wasn't afraid of telling the truth to Snape- he was just afraid of getting smacked with his textbook.
It was his sixth year- he wasn't that bad of a student!

Charles smiled as he saw Ophelia begin to draw Rhye. He wondered how Rhye was going to react when he saw it.
He continued to work hard at his potion, realizing that for once it looked close to what a near perfect potion would look like. He nearly dropped his spoon in surprise, he never did anything right in Potions.
Charles made a note to himself to always sit next to Ophelia from then on in Potions, no matter what. Maybe, if he did, he could pass Potions with an acceptable grade.
He looked up again from his Potion to see Ophelia slip by Rhye, and he saw Rhye’s hand in the air.
Charles sighed, his friend was playing a very dangerous game with the head master and potions teacher.
HE listened with growing horror to what Rhye had to say, even if what he was saying was supposed to do good, it wouldn’t. Snape hated anything that might even slightly be taken for sarcasm or obnoxious behavior.

When it came to Potions, that was one class that Alexis hated getting distracted in, being it was her favorite class. She kept looking back at the doors to the classroom to see many students coming in late. She laughed a bit when it was Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff mostly, but then she saw Longbottom and thought to herself Dang it, Longbottom, if you cost our house points.... But instead of dwelling on the future loss of house points, she continued to work on her potion, which in her mind was great!
After a few more moments, she was finishing up what appeared to be a perfect potion, but that was really no surprise to anyone that Alexis would successfully brew a potion like this one; and for some it was rather eye-rolling. But she did not care what people thought, it was her favorite class and so therefore, she was going to excel and go 'all out' in the class.

It was sufficient to say that Severus had very little patience at any normal given time. When students took to fooling around in his class, that was just sure to set him off. He stood and watched as no one seemed to answer his question and as late students creeped into his class. This simply would not do. Severus sneered as at he young Hufflepuff took her seat and began to work.
He would have said something right off the bat it it was not for the paper ball that flew almost under his radar a second later. Severus caught the movement however and fed up now, cross to the Raveclaws desk and snatched up ball. He turned and threw the ball quite hard at the instigator hitting him in the chest. He glanced over at the source of sudden noise to find Neville slinking back to his seat. "Mr Longbottom," Severus snarled. "Do you think that perhaps we can make it through one of my classes without you breaking something??"
Severus glanced into the late Hufflepuff's Cauldron. He nodded after a second. "Very good." Severus told her in a low voice. It was then that he notice the hand up in the air. Before he could call on the girl she said " On a teacher Professor. I believe it was Prof. Lupin" Severus gave a small smile. "Correct." He told her. "Twenty points to Ravenclaw." Another hand was up now and it was the student with the paper ball. "Might I just add- if you are planning to dock points from Ravenclaw- I am solely to blame." Severus blinked.
"I see." He said coldly now. Severus walked down the aisle to the male. "Your honesty does nothing for you here." He looked at Venice. "You can thank Mr Alexendre for loosing your points. Thirty point from Ravenclaw!" He growled at Rhye now. "and you can stay after class and clean up here." He headed back to his desk now. Passing Zoey, Severus glance at the potion. "Wonderful." He told his daughter.

The paper ball he threw came back to hit him twice as hard as what he threw at Charles, an 'oof' sound escaping lightly. He laughed inwardly, fighting back a snort, and winning. He looked at Ophelia and raised his brow and shoulders, as if not knowing what happened.
Rhye was half wincing now as Snape began to walk down the aisle, inspecting people's outcomes. He knew he was about to get in trouble. Great, you should have just stopped talking. Rhye closed one eyelid as the teacher's anger was set towards him.
"Your honesty does nothing for you here." He looked at Venice, another girl who had answered the question. "You can thank Mr Alexendre for loosing your points. Thirty point from Ravenclaw!" Snape wasn't done yet. "And you can stay after class and clean up here."
Rhye groaned silently, his head hitting the desk. Just great. Rhye looked up, his gaze set to Venice as he would hope to apologize. If she were to look in his direction, he'd mouth out an apology. He honestly hadn't planned on getting in trouble today.
