So he was here solely to keep her company? Summer had to try very hard not to smile about that. She just barely managed to succeed. When he said that he was a professor Summer was impressed and then he continued. Ah...he was an assistant... And to Severus Snape of all people. That could not be very fun.
"And, what do you do for a living Summer?" He asked her. "I would think you would greatly like a job here, for as much as you like to read, but some how I am sure it is another job" Summer chuckled now and glanced at the pile of books beside her. She shrugged. "I am a Bank Teller at Gringotts." She replied. I handled coins and vaults." She blushed slightly. "I couldn't work here....I would spend all my time reading."

Rigoletto smiled as he leaned forward a bit before he spoke "Perhaps but, it would be a job you loved & I am sure could tell anyone that came in what would fit them best, for what they where looking for" With that he moved back into his seat more, as he spoke again "Gringotts, is a good place to work, though I would find it hard to see all the money coming & going & knowing those that spent there money well & not so well"

Summer nodded. She did personalty agree that she would do well working here. But the job she had was one of trust and partnership. That meant a lot to her. She was someone one with the Goblin's. "Gringotts, is a good place to work, though I would find it hard to see all the money coming & going & knowing those that spent there money well & not so well" He added. Summer was silent for a moment. "What people do with their money is their own prerogative." She replied finally. "It doesn't bother me what they spend their funds on. The only thing that gets to me is many of the men a uneducated fools and then they are God's gift to women." She placed the book aside now.

Rigoletto heard Summers words, he could see that it was unwise to bring up the subject of money like that again though as he though about it, there was more to it then just his words, but for now he knew that could not be spoken of & because of it he was sure that what ever his standing with Summer was it likely dropped because of his words. "Fools they might be, but not all are uneducated though, I am sure the educate I speak of & you do are two very different fields, after all there is educate form books & educate form the way one is treated & treats others. How ever, even if you wanted to change them you could not, it is more they way they think & change cannot happen until the person wants it at least in such a way, though it would be nice if they could see women as an equal if not above them, for it they really though about it none of use would be here with out women"

Summer scoffed softly. "Its fine to say that women should be treated better. Its something else to see the way men actually do treat women. I doubt that you are much different. Human men seem to be all the same. Though I have not had much experience with men other than humans." She was an opinionated woman. Anyone who knew her would agree to this. Summer did not know how to read this man. She found him interesting and intriguing but he seemed to see her as only another person in his daily passing's. "So what type are you?" She asked him now. She was referring to his views on fools.

Rigoletto heard her scoff, it was clear she did not believe him though before he could even say anything she spoke & he knew well to hold his tong, not that he would not other wise it was more he knew, that she was looking for something & if he spoke before it was time it would be like the weakening point in what ever they had, even friendship would be broken & in some cases never repaired. Though her words to class him, as some many others that treated women wrong was a slap to him, he was not sure why if it was because he wanted to be her friend or he wanted more, he knew if it was the second there would be much that would have to be spoken of. He was silent before he spoke "I meant what I said, that women are above men, though I suppose at times I play the fool, not to the point you would class me, but to the point that I am lost of what to do, I suppose it is lack of reading what someone wants from me & yet many times, I fear to read to much into what is said or what I think I see. Because, I do not want to press anyone into something they do not want no matter, what the standing is between my self & the other person. Even if mealy friends, I do not like to over steep my bounds, for it can ruin friendships to the point, nothing will ever fix them"
He was silent before he spoke again "What would you ask of me, to prove that I meant what I said, in seeing women above men?" He in many ways feared what she would ask, knowing that if she asked something he could not do then, it would matter little it he was honest or not, with what he said for he had already opened up that, he would prove it with in what ever she asked & not what one normally would do in opening doors & that for the lady's.

Summer listened as he spoke. She was actually a little surprised that he had understood what she was telling him. It seemed that a lot of the men she had spoken with in the past either did not clearly understand her, or they chose to act like they did not.
She listened silently until he said "I suppose it is lack of reading what someone wants from me..." Summer chuckled slightly but it was not exactly a happy sound. More like a laughter of disbelief. "I think it was made quite clear what I wanted from you." She told him now. Summer felt a little odd being so open with him but really it was the best way to be. That way everything was out in the open.
Summer stood now and then continued to look through the books on the tables. She stayed close to the little sitting area however so she could continue this conversation. "You are a grown man, and working with Severus, I doubt that you are at such a lost with people. Severus would not allow it. You would need to react quickly. The man speaks his mind freely when one is not quick to react." She had had more than a few run ins in the bank with the Headmaster.
"What would you ask of me, to prove that I meant what I said, in seeing women above men?" Rigoletto asked her now and Summer paused. She turned towards him. Summer had been standing at the table behind her and now stepped closer. She rested against the back of his chair. "You want to prove yourself? Take off the mask, Professor." Her voice now was soft and nearly a whisper. They were alone in this section and not in plain few of the front of the shop. Summer waited.

Rigoletto listened to her words -I suppose it is lack of reading what someone wants from me- There was no missing Summer chuckled, it was unnerving more because of the tone, he would of done better to of said anything then what he just did not matter how truthful he spoke or at least as much as he could.
Though he felt himself freeze, a bit with her next words -I think it was made quite clear what I wanted from you- To be honest he had though, she had not meant it in such a way yet, it would appear he was wrong again when it came to knowing what she wanted, though he found it hard much of the time to always know what women wanted, after all he knew to well they though differently.
He saw her stand, yet he did not move she walked a way a bit before she spoke on -You are a grown man, and working with Severus, I doubt that you are at such a lost with people. Severus would not allow it. You would need to react quickly. The man speaks his mind freely when one is not quick to react.- "True, but then Severus is not you" He knew that the rules change with dealing with Severus compared to Summer, in more ways then one. Severus most the time his bark, was worse then his bit as they say.
He since her behind him, he heard the faint sound of her leaning against his chair. How ever it was her words that fallowed that he dreaded more then the others -You want to prove yourself? Take off the mask, Professor- It mattered little how softly she spoke it, for he would of heard it all the same, he rose from his seat not thinking about it as he looked at Summer a moment before he moved over to some books, not far enough she would not hear him if he spoke, yet he felt he had to think on what she just asked.
"You do not know what you ask, of me" Though he was sure she did, in the back of his mind, she asked for trust form him in doing it at least so he though & she asked for more, though it was not as great as trust for with out it well, things just crumbled when it came to people.
He looked at some books, though did not look at them more just something to do his mind was racing on what to do, few knew what was under the mask & even if Summer had guessed when they first meet, it was not the same as having to look at his face. Anyone else would of likely died form such a curse, yet he was not human not any more, so he did not die, though he was sure he would of been dead had something no happened to stop it, he was still unsure what his mind was still foggy to what happened once he felt the spell hit & its effect take root.
He looked again at Summer, before turning back to the books why had he feared she would ask of him what she had? He knew most, given the change would of said the same, though it was not the same. He also knew that ether way he choose things would change between them, for the good or bad. And with that choose it would lead to having to ether keep more secrets or give them up, much was laid out to ether lose or win, yet it was not so simple to grasp in one way or another, as some would think.
Summer might want more of a relationship with him, even after seeing his face, but how would it stand when she learned what he was could she stand the idea or though? He slowly moved to take a seat once more, still not fully knowing what he would do, yet wanting her company.
He slowly reached up to touch his mask, time appeared to stand still for him before he lightly released the breath he held, as his hand moved to remove his mask feeling the air on his face, his hand that held the mask rested on the arm of the chair though, he felt his chin drop a bit as he waited, not moving & now he waited for the unknown.
His under the mask was pale & almost death like, there was some scares that ran over that side of his face marring the flesh, making it look even worse do to how pale his face was, making it hideous to be hold. Though the greatest weight was likely in having the reminder of it & know he would never be full excepted by people or most.
(To help with knowing what it looks like, it would look like Rebaldys/Rigoletto's face off of the movie Rigoletto by family film not sure if you have seen it, but that would help you know.)

Summer straightened up again when he stood. She met his eyes for the brief moment and then stood where she was hands on the top of the back of the chair as he began to move. "You do not know what you ask, of me" He told her but Summer did not reply. She was a smart woman and she knew that this would be hard for him.. But she did know what she asked. She wanted to see him. Summer waited as he moved from book to book.
She watched him the whole time. Summer did not know if he would do as she asked but she really hoped he would. She would be able to see past it. She was sure of that. She watched with a slight nod as he comae to sit once more and when slowly removed the mask, Summer did not move right away. His back was to her once more. She tried to erase any emotion from her face before slowly stepping around the chair and before him.
Summer moved to her knees close to his legs to get a clear look as he was now lower than her. She thought she would be able to just shrug and move on but this was worse than she had imagined. It looked as if his face had been mutilated under the mask. It was bumpy in some places and etched with deep scars. Summer's eyes moved over the damaged skin and though she had let out a soft gasp, she said nothing more. But her mind was racing.
The pain this kind of damage must have caused. And his obvious shame. It was bad..much worse than she had expected to see. A bit frightening. But Summer kept all this from her face. She knew that he would be waiting for her reaction to him. Slowly, she met his eyes. "That's better." She told him softly with a soft smile. One hand slowly came up and soft finger tips moved gently along the pale skin feeling the texture.

(I see you did better then I will describing his face)
Rigoletto waited for the unknown & that was the worst of it, the not knowing of how this would play out, he heard the lightly sound that told him she moved & he felt himself stiffen some because of it. As she knelt closer to his legs, he almost wanted to s top this before it went more, then it already had. He heard her gasp & for the moment expected her to run, though she did not & he was left to think on that, if she was frozen in place of if there was a hint of something else, he was not sure at the moment.
When she did meet her eyes, he tried to read what she though it was not so simple for it appeared there was much she was thinking on. At her words though, shock came on him & he knew it showed & he spoke "What?!" Though it held the tone of being shocked, as if he did not hear her or more so could not believe what he just heard, from her.
He saw her softly smiled & he felt even more at a lose on what to do, in truth he did not expect an out come like this, so he was not ready for it. At her first touch, he drew back like he had been burned, his mind raced with what she was doing though it appeared his body gave in before he had time to think, to move back to where he had been before to allow Summer fingers to move over his face.
He let out a breath he did not know he had been holding, he lightly closed his eyes as he mealy savored the touch, with a bit of time he relaxed to her touch, enough that at times with out thinking he would lean into her touch.

Summer jumped slightly when he all but yelled his question. She had not expected it was all. She quickly relaxed however. Summer could see the confusion in his eyes. When he jerked back from her. Summer froze. She did not want to force herself on him. He could balk. His next move however brought another smile to her lips and Summers tilted her head slightly.
She watched as he seemed to relax slowly. When he leaned into her touch, Summer's smile widened and her other hand came up to cup the opposite side of his throat. She moved a little closer to him until her side brushed against his leg.
"How many other people have you showed?" Summer asked in a low tone. She thought that keeping a low voice would be best because she assumed he might still be a bit jumpy. And she also did not want to draw any attention to them. Her hand continued to move along the side of his face.
She was getting use to the feel of it. "Is there anything else interesting about you, Professor?" She asked. Summer did not know why she kept calling him by profession. She just liked the way it sounded.

He had not meant to make her jump, with his word it was just not something he expected, though it would appear that no harm was done, form it. Rigoletto felt, Summers other hand move to his throat, there was a moment when he though to pull away, just more because of his past then because of her though he held firm to not moving. He felt her move, though until he felt her side brush against his leg he did not know just how close she was, his eyes opened instantly at the touch. He was greeted with her words -How many other people have you showed?-
Her tone was soft & like her it matched when he spoke back "About 4 I think, though none in such a way" Albus knew, but he did because he was cures with the face he had now why under orders form him, to kill the Dark Lord of course it did not end well. Severus knew, but then he was the Head Master & it was more by chance, he was sure those that found & helped him after the encounter with the Dark Lord knew, though he did not all who where there. At Summers last words he smirked -Is there anything else interesting about you, Professor- "I am sure that there is"

Summer nodded when he had answered her first question. So others knew. Summer wondered then why he was so nervous to show her. Did he expect her to run away? She was a grown woman, she was not going to be frightened that badly because of a disfigurement. Granted it was not a small little mark but it was not that bad when you really thought about it. The skin was still there after all and Summer assumed that the reason the flesh was so pale was because it saw very little sun light.
The hand that was on his face now moved higher and to his hair. Her fingers slipped into the strands and she scratched the scalp gently for a moment before withdrawing her hands altogether. It was not because she wanted to stop touching him. Summer was a very hands on type of girl. But she did not know how he felt about her touching him so much. "I am sure that there is" He told her is response to her last question.
She placed one hand on his thigh to support herself for a moment as she stood from the floor and then moved to the chair beside him. Books forgotten, Summer sat and then crossed her legs towards him. "Like what?" She asked now. "I think I can handle a few more revealings from you." She smiled brightly and then waited.

Rigoletto, felt Summer remove her hand that was on his face before, he felt it in his hair, he felt her lightly scratch his scalp in a gentle way, if he was a cat he was sure he would of been purring by now. Though he quickly felt she had removed her hands & where her hand had been his skin felt the cool air around it though, he also could not say he had not enjoyed it, he was not sure why she stopped, but he did look forward to more.
At her touch to his thigh, his eyes instantly went to her hand, not because of the touch, just he had not expected it, looking to her once more as he saw her seat beside him. -I think I can handle a few more revealings from you- He smiled lightly "I can sing & speak, in a few different language" His smile grew "And I would gladly read to you, for nothing more then your touch" With the last part he lightly reached out with his free hand, to cherish her cheek.

"I can sign & speak, in a few different language" He told her and Summer arched an eyebrow. She had always wanted to learn to speak other languages. Italian and Spanish to name a few. "And I would gladly read to you, for nothing more then your touch" Now it was her turn to be shocked. "Really?" She asked in a whisper.
She felt a surge of happiness inside and a flutter in her stomach when he reached out to touch her face. Her skin was softer then his she knew this. She took a great deal of care of he skin. "Thank you." Summer said softly and then turned her face into his hand and placed a quick and gentle peck of a kiss in his palm.
"I loved to be read to. It's nice to share a story with someone else." She blushed a little and then the small smile was back. "I don't know sign language and I would love to learn other languages. You are more educated than I, it seems." One hand came up and covered his hand on her face before moving down his arm briefly.
