"You have officially sung my favorite song."
He knew somewhere deep inside, he won secretly. He could always sing this to her and calm her down, it was like his secret weapon. Rhye pulled her closer against him, if that was possible.
"My carefree days with you are just beginning."
Rhye sighed happily as he remembered first watching the movie. Of course, it was in French, but he had seen the English version just as many times. He knew both by heart in both languages. Just as he was reminiscing, he followed Ophelia's wand motions and surveyed the lake, his eyes filling with excitement as did his body.
"That is so cool!" He chuckled, kissing her head again, his hand squeezing as it held her free one. "I bet you practice that." He smirked, leaning down to kiss her earlobe cutely. They sat in silence as Rhye watched her morph the water into different scenes. He had a permanent smile on his face that night, mesmerized by her talent.
"What are your plans for the future?" Ophelia asked curiously, almost all of the sudden.
Rhye cleared his throat, casually. "Well, as long as you don't end up hating me," he laughed, "I plan on spending my future with you." He thought about it for a moment. "First thing would be to graduate." He said shortly, laughing. "That is, if Snape doesn't kill me first."
The boy nuzzled his chin on her head, getting comfortable. "I'd like to sell some poetry books and retire when I physically can't write anymore." He joked, of course. He would probably retire a bit early from writing, if it took off like he hoped. "And I'd like to settle down with you, buy us a cute little house in the middle of nowhere, not too far from town." He chuckled heartily, his laugh deep and soothing. "Maybe even spend every night watching the Lion King."

"That is so cool! I bet you practice that." Rhye smirked, leaning down to kiss her earlobe cutely.
Ophelia giggled as his warm breath and skin hit her earlobe, but she shrugged casually at his remark.
"Back home my parents didn't mind me using magic over the summer. We had a lack on the property and Finley taught me how to do that." She smiled faintly, sadly, at the memory of the two of them spending their days out by the lake, but she dismissed the thought quickly. "I used to have bad nightmare's, so I would sneak out of the house to practice. It was fun for me."
Rhye cleared his throat, casually. "Well, as long as you don't end up hating me," he laughed, "I plan on spending my future with you. First thing would be to graduate." He said shortly, laughing. "That is, if Snape doesn't kill me first."
All the dancing water shapes dropped with a loud splash and she turned her head to look at Rhye. "That's not funny." She said seriously. "Don't joke about that stuff. I don't know what I would do..." She let what she had to say trail off.
The boy nuzzled his chin on her head, getting comfortable, and Ophelia continued with her water art. She listened intently to Rhye speak, and noticed how determined and serious he was about them being together. She hoped everything would work out. She was sure that they would.
"I'm going to be a Healer." She said dreamily, imagining herself running a Hospital of her own. "Only, I want it to be unique. I want it to provide care for Wizards and Muggle's alike."

Rhye nodded slowly, his breaths becoming longer and deeper. He was getting sleepy, and it wasn't even late. "I'm sorry." He said simply, but he meant it. "You know, that it can't still be like that." Rhye began to rub her stomach again like he knew she liked, humming their tune to her.
"That's not funny." She said seriously. "Don't joke about that stuff. I don't know what I would do..."
He apologized quietly, hugging her tight, continuing to rub her stomach.
"I'm going to be a Healer." She said dreamily. "Only, I want it to be unique. I want it to provide care for Wizards and Muggle's alike."
He smiled to himself. Atta girl! "Where do you want to open your hospital?" He kept the conversation about her healing practices, leaning down to nibble on her ear.

"I'm sorry." He said simply. "You know, that it can't still be like that."
"Of course." Ophelia smiled up at him reassuringly. "He is but a memory that fades away more and more every time I am with you." She brought their entangled fingers to her lips and she softly kissed each of his knuckles.
"Where do you want to open your hospital?"
"I haven't decided yet. I imagine whatever part of the world is in the most ruins by the time this war ends." She burrowed into his embrace, reveling in her secure comfort. "How long do you think the war will last?" She asked quietly.

Rhye felt her lips plant kisses on each of his knuckles, and he smiled. "I'm glad I can make it all better, then. That's my purpose in life. To help people." He began drawing hearts into her stomach, and other shapes and words. He was so content with her in his arms, it was crazy.
"I haven't decided yet. I imagine whatever part of the world is in the most ruins by the time this war ends." She burrowed into him. "How long do you think the war will last?" She asked quietly.
Rhye squeezed her hand at the statement, and the question. "As long as it takes, apparently. Hopefully not too much longer. Each day, I'm more scared than the next that something will happen to me, you, my family..." He sighed. "I can't let that happen. Something has to be done." He couldn't actually do anything, really, he just hoped the golden trio would figure something out and fast.

Ophelia began to draw circles on his pant legs as he drew shapes and words on her stomach. "I should hope not much longer." She hated to ask, but when he worried, she worried. She was, however, so glad that he was comfortable enough to tell her. "Do you think it would be safer if you went to an American school next year? The prejudices there are not near as bad, and I hear more and more Muggle Borns from around the world are going to schools there." Ophelia really did not want him to leave, but she wanted him safe.

"Do you think it would be safer if you went to an American school next year? The prejudices there are not near as bad, and I hear more and more Muggle Borns from around the world are going to schools there."
Rhye's eyes widened. "No! I will not spend my last year away from you." He let go of her stomach for long enough to caress her cheek from behind, pulling her head towards him. He leaned in and kissed her cheek and the eyelid closest to him. "I wouldn't dare leave you. I promised you such."
He couldn't bare the thought of being away from Ophelia. She was his life now, well, the majority of it. He planned to graduate here, make his parents proud, and wait for Ophelia. Possibly, if he worked hard enough, he could publish his book of poems when he got out of School and start receiving payments from the copies, if it would sell any. He would surprise Ophelia with that another day. He already had her a copy to read stored away in his chest.
Speaking of things to give people, he tugged on her hand. "Turn around." He said softly. "And close your eyes. I have a present for you." He smiled to himself, feeling his pockets to make sure it was still there. "I had a special someone send something here. It might suit your liking.."

"No! I will not spend my last year away from you. I wouldn't dare leave you. I promised you such."
Biting her lip, Ophelia smiled at his words, but then her smile faltered and fell. She had withdrawn her hand from his and looked down as she fidgeted with them. "I know, and I wouldn't want you away for me long, but I want you to be safe. No matter what."
"Turn around. And close your eyes. I have a present for you. I had a special someone send something here. It might suit your liking.."
Ophelia laughed. "I already am turned around, silly. My back is to you." But she turned her head and looked off towards the horizon and closed her eyes tight, a smile playing at her lips.

"You're lucky you're pretty." Rhye scoffed, patting her head. "I meant turn to face me." He laughed hard. "I have to give it to you." Rhye pulled his coat pocket to him, making sure it was still in there from the night before. His hands were shaking a bit, a smile on his lips as she turned, raising his eyebrows to her.
He took her hand in his and used his free one to dig inside his pocket. He pulled out a black box with silver writing on it that said:
To: My mermaid. From: Your Greek God.
Inside the box, there were three rows of pastel paint colors. On the top of the package of paint, it said it was imported and made in France. Then under the paint, she'd have to dig for it, was a thin silver chain with a cage-like charm on it. Inside the cage, there was a Lapis Lazuli stone. It was a light blue with white wispy-like marks, almost like the sky or Earth if you viewed it from far off.
Rhye bit his lip eagerly as he waited her response. "I hope you like them.." He ran his hand through his hair and rubbed his neck nervously.

"You're lucky you're pretty."Instead of blushing in embarrassment, Ophelia merely laughed heartily and turned around with her knees crossed in front of Rhye. She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around his neck, letting them dangle over his back. She smiled and said lightly, "You know what they say, God made the dumb ones pretty for a reason." She winked teasingly before saying, "And I have the prettiest one yet." Ophelia watched as Rhye retrieved the gift with shaking hands and lightly kissed him on the lips. "Don't be so worried, Love. I know it will be my favorite possession from now on." Rhye handed her a black box that on the top read, To: My mermaid. From: Your Greek God. Ophelia smiled happily when her eyes landed on the paints and she leaned forward to kiss Rhye for another time. "It's beautiful!" She looked back down and noticed that there was more. She set the paints aside and with one eyebrow unconsciously raised and her biting her lip in concentration she dug for it. Her touched something cold and her eyes widened. She slowly pulled out a delicate chain and lay the end in her hand. Inside a beautiful cage-ish hold, was a beautiful blue stone with intricate colored designs within. Ophelia was so completely amazed. It was the most beautiful stone she had ever seen, and she had seen numerous beautiful and magnificent stones. Her hands started shaking, she wanted to cry. It was so wonderful, and she was receiving it from the most perfect guy she had ever met. She looked up at Rhye, who was biting his lip, she assumed out of apprehension. He looked so damn precious when he was nervous. She smiled. "I hope you like them.." He ran his hand through his hair and rubbed his neck nervously. "If you keep biting your lip like that, I may have to bite it for you." She hinted playfully and a bit quietly. She looked down at the stone and began shaking her head slowly. She smiled again and looked up at Rhye. She set the necklace down gently in her lap and leaned forward. Ophelia pressed a kiss to Rhye's lip and leaned back half an inch, eye's closed. "It." Kiss. "Is." Kiss. "The." Kiss. "Most." Kiss. "Perfect." Kiss. "Gift." Kiss. "Ever." She went in and kissed him heatedly.

"You know what they say, God made the dumb ones pretty for a reason." She winked teasingly before saying, "And I have the prettiest one yet."
Rhye's cheeks got hot- really hot. He punched her playfully in the arm, not even enough to leave a sensation. "You sure do have the prettiest one yet." He scrunched his nose up. "Everytime you look in the mirror!" He laughed heartily as she took his gift and opened it.
"It's beautiful!" Her hands started shaking.
Rhye took the necklace from her lap and unclasped it, moving his hands behind her neck slowly. He leaned over, getting on his knees, and kissed her neck softly, eying the necklace as he clipped it back together. He held the back of her head with his left hand and kissed her forehead, down to her lips. "I love you." He had been sure to stop by her ear and whisper it to her, nibbling her earlobes.
He sat back down, biting his lip again. His heart was fluttering.
"If you keep biting your lip like that, I may have to bite it for you."
Rhye blushed again, shaking his head. "My lips." He teased, about to lean back on his palms when she leaned into him, her lips meeting his. He was startled, and through her kisses, she told him that it was the most perfect gift ever. He had done well, then.
"I talked to my Mom about it." He admitted, his smile brightening up. "I told her everything about you and sent her a picture of you." He grinned. "She loves you.. and my Dad had a few choice words." He winked. "Something about you being a keeper, and for me not to, well, fuck things up with you."

"You sure do have the prettiest one yet." He scrunched his nose up. "Everytime you look in the mirror!" He laughed heartily.
Ophelia punched him in the arm normally, knowing that she would never be able to hurt him, as he was so muscular.
Rhye took the necklace from her lap and unclasped it, moving his hands behind her neck slowly. Ophelia giggled as his hands tickled her the hair on her neck and she bit her lip to stifle it. She watched with baited breath as he leaned over, getting on his knees, and kissed her neck softly. She closed her eyes and rolled her head as he kissed her. She smiled in delight as he held the back of her head with his left hand and kissed her forehead, where he always liked to begin, and finally down to her lips. Rhye liked to tease her.
"I love you." He had been sure to stop by her ear and whisper it to her, nibbling her earlobes.
"Mmmmm." A deep throaty sound came from her throat. And she slowly opened her eyes as he sat down. They opened up to the exact color of the jewel, she didn't know at the time that they would be now be her permanent eye color and that she wouldn't be able to alter them if she tried. Like her heart had done, her eyes had found what would be perfect for her for the rest of her life and beyond.
Ophelia laughed as Rhye blushed again, shaking his head. "My lips."
"I talked to my Mom about it." He admitted, his smile brightening up. "I told her everything about you and sent her a picture of you." He grinned. "She loves you.. and my Dad had a few choice words." He winked. "Something about you being a keeper, and for me not to, well, fuck things up with you."
Ophelia laughed energetically and dramatically wiggled her way on his lap facing sideways. She wrapped one arm around his neck, curling her hand into his hair and placed her other hand on the side of his cheek.
"I love you." She kissed behind his earlobe as he told her about talking to his mother. She pulled back to look at him.
"I can't wait to meet them. I'm sure they will be better parents to me then my own were." She laughed humorlessly. She removed her hand from his cheek, never releasing his hair, and touched her necklace, glancing down at it. "I will never misplace this. I will have it forev- no." She looked up at Rhye and smiled softly. "I will give it to our son when he finds his future wife." She closed blinked dreamily. She placed her hand back to the side of his head. Ophelia began kissing the side of his neck again. Running one hand through his hair and her thumb stroking his skin in front of his ear.

Rhye's eyes closed as her hands ran through his hair. It always felt nice to have someone else play with his hair for a change. Especially Ophelia. She had a special touch, something he couldn't go a day without feeling. It was like his newest drug- she was his newest drug, and he was openly declaring to be an addict. "Mmph." He groaned happily, his spine tingling as her lips met his neck. He couldn't stand it, it felt too.. teasing. He smirked inwardly and wrapped his arm around her neck, dipping her down in his lap, her lips magically still on his neck. It tickled a lot, and he giggled.
Once he laid her head down, he crawled on top of her and smiled, somewhat tainted with trouble like he was famous for. His hand traced up her side, tickling lightly as he kept his eyes locked on hers. He noticed they had changed to the color of the stone he gave her. "That thing was around when I was still just a muggle." He winked, smiling playfully. "It's old, it has been in the woman's hands of my family for generations. Obviously, my Mom decided it was mine when they couldn't have any more kids. I'm like her little girl." He chuckled, shaking his head. "Never mind- forget I ever said that."

Ophelia wasn't sure what was happening when Rhye wrapped his arms around her and tipped her backwards, but as long as she was in his arms, she was okay. When he giggled, she giggled.
Rhye's hand slowly moved up her side and tingles littered her body.
"You do wonderful things to me." She moaned lazily against his neck.
"Never mind- forget I ever said that." Ophelia laughed and it sounded oddly out of place from the sensual mood.
"Oh no my dear, that one will be told so many times by the time we even get married!" She continued to laugh. "Now shut up and kiss me." She replied with a devilish gleam in her eye.

"You do wonderful things to me." She moaned lazily against his neck.
That sound made his whole body warm. Her moan. He could make her feel that way, and it amazed him. Rhye's eyes locked on her new ones again, his lips pressing against hers hungrily; he couldn't get enough.
"Oh no my dear, that one will be told so many times by the time we even get married!" She continued to laugh. "Now shut up and kiss me." She replied with a devilish gleam in her eye.
"Oh, I plan on that." He purred into her ear, his predatory instincts taking over. She made him into a beast- a gentle one, at least. He clutched her sides lightly with one hand, the other stroking her hair out of her face.
He tilted his head to the side and watched her for a moment. Rhye just watched her smiling and grinning and breathing. "Amazing, just amazing." He leaned down into the corner of her neck and began nibbling on her skin, his hot breath raining down on her somewhat cold skin. He moaned lightly, a slight grin on his lips, his eyes closing.
