It was after midnight and Delphi was just leaving her midnight casual Astronomy class she had with HUfflepuff. She was going to head back to Ravenclaw tower, but she didn't feel like it.
Delphi sighed and headed to the closest tower which led up and even more so up unto the Roof Top Gardens. She wasn't quite sure how many people knew about it. It wasn't a secret by any means, students were allowed up there, but not many seemed to know it existed. Not that Delphi was complaining. She loved the quiet solitude of the gardens. She walked her way through the maze which was the garden and she smelled the plants. Delphi finally reached the center of the tower roof. All the plants were magical and so some chose to sing low sweet melodies and others showed off their playful swaying and dancing. Delphi decided she would sleep up on the roof tonight. It was a split second decision and it wasn't the first time she had done it.
On the roof, she felt free. She shook her head out and felt her hair grow an inch longer and return to it's soft brown color. She allowed her eyes to return to it's bright blue Veela color. Her skin softened and relaxed her looks to normal. They weren't drastic changes, but they were enough to mask her Veela blood to where other's wouldn't be effected. It was by far one of her favorite perks to being able to morph like she could.
Hoping no one watching, although she couldn't imagine who would be up there at a time like that, she slipped out of her black cardigan. Because of the midnight lesson, and the cooler weather, the students were graciously allowed to dress how they wished, and so Delphi had settled for high riding black button up shorts with a length ending mid-thigh, and a loose fitting green shirt, she suspected she wore green because she knew it was Cesaer's favorite color on her, that showed her midriff. Of course, she would never get away with that in glass, hence the cardigan, but now it was perfect for what she wanted to do now. She closed her eyes, spread her arms out, and danced. The slow wind of the night whisper through her hair while she spun. She slipped off her black flats and moved about the centers opening.
As a child, Delphi was fascinated with Muggle ballet. She used to watch them practice at local studios from wherever her and her father was at. When she came to Hogwarts, one of her Ravenclaw year mates, Tori, loved ballet, and Delphi learned from her. So here she was, probably dancing like a fool for all the stars and past loved ones to see. She danced as though no one could see her.
After a few moments, Delphi stopped where she had started and lowered herself to the ground. She laid down on her back, arms spread out and closed her eyes. Smiling, breathing in the cold nights air. She shivered a little, but it still felt okay. When she let herself look natural, she felt so much lighter.

Slipping on his black house shoes, Caesar snuck out of his dorm room and common room easily, despite the few Slytherin boys who stopped him outside. Slytherin was in his black jeans, black shoes, and a plaid and white button-up. He ran his hand through his hair uneasily, listening to the latest news. He was bored and unattached to their words until they all pointed their gossip at him.
"Hey Caesar," the boy turned his head towards the Slytherin who spoke his name, "aren't you dating that Delphi chick? The Ravenclaw?"
"Yes." He said flatly, moving past them, butting shoulders quite hard in fact. He kept walking until another voice chimed in with their worthless opinions.
"She's actually very attractive, I'd chase after that." The huskier male snorted out, the group laughing as a whole. Caesar's pupils narrowed, taking the form of cat eyes. And he turned around, grabbing the bigger one by the throat.
"You better not let me hear you talk about a lady, especially Delphi, like that. I will rip you a new drinking hole." He threatened, a lion-like rumbling in his vocals. He threw him back against the dark wall behind the group and turned back around on his way to Emma. Pigs, that's all they are.
After a couple minutes of traveling, the boy came upon the Astronomy class as she usually had. The class was released, but she wasn't anywhere to be found. He furrowed his brow, but it suddenly arched back up. Caesar heard a soft thud on the rooftop, his eyes warming at the thought of her. He could smell her. He breathed her in and rushed up to where she was, smiling ever so warmly to himself. To see him in a good mood was rare, for only when he was with Emma, was he ever really happy.
The Slytherin used his sly sneaking skills and stepped his way over to her, fluid in his movements as if he was dancing too. He fell down beside her, laying on his back like she did. He looked up to the ceiling, then to her. He took in her features. They were different than she usually had them, and he noted that it was completely natural. He kept his smile on his lips, and leaned over on his side, running his hand through her hair gently.
"Emma Jaymesinn, you're an unpredictable one." He said quietly, like he normally kept his tone.

Delphi startled when she felt her hair being caressed. She always startled. She flushed in embarrassment, hating that about herself. She opened her eyes and tilted her head sideways and saw the most beautiful thing alive. She hadn't even heard Caesar come in. She laughed out loud to herself and wiggled sideways into his warm body. "You are to sneaky my precious Slytherin." She brushed her lips across his.
"Emma Jaymesinn, you're an unpredictable one." Caesar said quietly.
"Well I wouldn't be a very fun girlfriend if I was predictable now would I?" She snorted. "You love me and you know it." She pecked his lips again. Her lips.
"How did you know I was up here? Where you waiting on me? You didn't get caught did you? Well I guess that really wouldn't matter, you are a Slytherin after all." She chuckled, not caring that she was rambling.
"Bring me any raspberries?" She wiggled her eyebrows up and down biting her lip playfully. She pulled her knee's up. Delphi also decided it would be best to mention David, but she didn't want to start that conversation right away. That's for sure.
"How was your day my lovely?" She closed her eyes, fully enjoying the moment. The chilly wind and the feel of Caesar's hand in her hair. After her and Rhye had gone back to being friends, her and Caesar met. In fact, their first date had been at the Yule Ball.
Delphi opened her eyes and gasped. The Yule Ball! She opened her eyes and looked up at Caesar who was almost directly looking down on her now.
"Caesar," She spoke his name slowly and softly. Like a lioness purring. "You are taking me to the Yule Ball, right?" She batted her eyes more then was necessary, being extra dramatic. That's just how she was.
Delphi Emma Jaymesinn was a spaz.

"You are to sneaky my precious Slytherin." She brushed her lips across his.
Caesar shook his head of hair stubbornly, his little strands of hair falling perfectly back into place. "There is no such thing as too sneaky when you're a Slytherin." He corrected, playfully of course, and returned her kiss softly.
"Well I wouldn't be a very fun girlfriend if I was predictable now would I?" She snorted. "You love me and you know it." She pecked his lips again.
Caesar shrugged in admittance, a grin on his rose-colored lips. "You got me- I do love my little Ravenclaw." He pecked her back on the lips. "And you're right, you wouldn't be as fun."
"I heard you." He said softly, smiling as he continued running his hand through her soft brown hair. "I came to surprise you after class, but you were already gone. I was so confused, but then I heard you lay down." Caesar giggled as she kept asking questions. Before she could finish, he kissed her hard, as a means to shush her. He winked playfully and shook his head. "I did not get caught, and you're right. It would definitely not matter." The Slytherin was truly just that- a snake. He was sly, cunning, and very deceptive. He was skilled at the art of sneaking.
Caesar snapped his fingers, almost angrily, in exasperation. "I forgot them!" He sighed. "I knew there was something I was missing." He frowned, leaning in to rest his forehead on hers. "Can you ever forgive me, Miss Emma?" He grinned, kissing her nose softly.
"How was your day my lovely?" She closed her eyes.
Caesar kissed at the corners of her eyes before sighing in frustration. "It was all well, until a few moments ago." He laid back on the ground, taking her hand in his where they laid, sighing again, deeper this time. "Some pig made a comment, and it offended me, and I gave him my two cents." He shrugged, rolling his eyes at the event. "He's lucky I was preoccupied with you to get too much of a handle on him." He growled lightly, his inner fire starting to ignite. He was a lion when he was mad, territorial and fierce, with a momentum behind him.
"Caesar," She spoke his name slowly and softly. Like a lioness purring. "You are taking me to the Yule Ball, right?" She batted her eyes.
He laughed at her, a silly smile on his face. "Emma," he said, mocking her tone with his own voice, "I guess I could take you.." Caesar said casually; he was the master at deception. He shrugged like it was no big deal, a smile and laugh threatening to break through. "I mean, if I am not too busy." He joked lightly, looking back at her playfully, extending his hand to poke her nose.

"I came to surprise you after class, but you were already gone. I was so confused, but then I heard you lay down."
"You have the best hearing, you know that?" She laughed, but then gasped softly, her lips making a soft perfectly formed 'O' and her head tilting just slightly as something occurred to her. "Do you think that has anything to do with you being Veela? Can Cordelia hear that well? Oh what about your parents? Do you think your parents will like me?"
Caesar giggled as she kept asking questions. Before she could finish, he kissed her hard, as a means to shush her.
Stunned, it took a second or two for Delphi to process what had happened. But when he tried to pull back, Delphi's left hand to the back of his head stopped him, and for a few minutes their lips danced together, her hand entwined in his long raven black locks.
Caesar winked playfully and shook his head. "I did not get caught, and you're right. It would definitely not matter."
Delphi laughed at her boyfriend of two years, and smiled. "Sometimes I wish that I had been sorted into Slytherin. But I probably wouldn't have fit in with everyone. And I wouldn't have been able to grow my friendship with Rhye." She smiled wider again.
Caesar snapped his fingers, almost angrily, in exasperation. "I forgot them!" Delphi pushed her lower lip out and Caesar sighed. "I knew there was something I was missing." He frowned, leaning in to rest his forehead on hers. "Can you ever forgive me, Miss Emma?" He grinned, kissing her nose softly.
Delphi giggled at Caesar's actions. He was never like this around others and she glad she brought it out in him. He could be such an ass to others, but she knew he was sweet. She loved her baby. She put her right hand to his cheek softly.
"I'm sure you can repay me somehow." She winked and pushed her lips against his just as hard as he had done to her earlier. She smiled against his now perfectly swollen lips.
Caesar kissed at the corners of her eyes before sighing in frustration. Delphi pulled back a little and frowned. "What happened?"
"It was all well, until a few moments ago." Caesar laid back on the ground, taking her hand in his where they laid, sighing again, deeper this time.
"What happened?" Delphi asked softly, now leaning up over him so she could look down on his face.
"Some pig made a comment, and it offended me, and I gave him my two cents." He shrugged, rolling his eyes at the event.
"I hope you didn't do anything to hurt him." Delphi sucked on her lower lip. She knew how temperamental her boyfriend could be, and hoped he would think more before he acted.
"He's lucky I was preoccupied with you to get too much of a handle on him." Caesar growled lightly, his inner fire starting to ignite.
Delphi laid back down beside him. Sighing lightly. "Caesar, I hope you didn't overreact. I'm sure what he said couldn't have been that bad." She regretted her words immediately. She knew Caesar better then that. He liked to ignore people. He wouldn't react unless it was bad. She rolled onto her side and rested her head on his chest. "What did he say?" Delphi asked meekly.
Caesar laughed at her, a silly smile on his face. "Emma, I guess I could take you.." Caesar said casually. He shrugged like it was no big deal.
"Oh?" Delphi said playfully back.
"I mean, if I am not too busy." Caesar joked lightly, looking back at her playfully, extending his hand to poke her nose.
Caesar was a master. But you didn't date a Slytherin for two years and not pick up a few things. She rolled off of him and turned around to lay on her other side. She sighed dramatically.
"Ah well. I guess I shall have to live to go with that other Slytherin. What was his name? Oh yes, Madden. He talks to me somedays. Maybe he won't be too busy." Unlike Caesar, she couldn't say it without a hint of humor in her voice. Delphi had no idea that the Slytherin she mentioned was the one who had pissed off Caesar.

"You have the best hearing, you know that?" She laughed, but then gasped. "Do you think that has anything to do with you being Veela? Can Cordelia hear that well? Oh what about your parents? Do you think your parents will like me?"
Caesar laughed, nodding at her. "I do have good hearing. And yeah, actually, I think it does. Cordelia hears everything. My parents? They're old and hard of hearing." He chuckled, scoffing slightly. "My parents are very.... old fashioned. Thats all I can say. And I would make them like you." Caesar laughed. "You're so inquisitive. What's up with that?" He teased.
Emma had learned of the scene that had just occurred moments ago. He grunted awkwardly as she asked him about what had happened.
"Caesar, I hope you didn't overreact. I'm sure what he said couldn't have been that bad." She regretted her words immediately. She rolled onto her side and rested her head on his chest. "What did he say?" Delphi asked meekly.
He shook his head lightly, a scowl obtaining dominance over his features. He pulled his lips in to bite at them angrily, a rumble starting in his vocal chords that echoed when he spoke next.
"He said that he would chase after you, because you were attractive." Caesar growled, his eyes closing in attempts to calm down. "And then the whole group started to talk and laugh. I couldn't take it. I grabbed him and told him not to ever let me hear him say that about you, or any girl, ever again." He said flatly, anger in his voice. Caesar neglected to add that it was indeed the throat that he grabbed him with. "They're a bunch of pigs rolling around in their mud holes." He snapped madly, his eyes darkening.
"Ah well. I guess I shall have to live to go with that other Slytherin. What was his name? Oh yes, Madden. He talks to me somedays. Maybe he won't be too busy." Unlike Caesar, she couldn't say it without a hint of humor in her voice.
The Slytherin's blood ran cold. He turned her over, apologizing for the force of his pull, then he laid a hand on hers. "Stay away from him." He said sharply, his eyes narrowed and dark again. "He's the one who talked about you. The one I almost sent to meet his maker." Caesar's blood was boiling somewhat. "I'm taking you."
Way to be controlling, Caesar.

["My parents are very.... old fashioned. Thats all I can say. And I would make them like you."[/i] Caesar laughed.
Delphi knew exactly what he meant, but she shook her head and smiled.
"I'm the Blood Traitor, Caesar. Your parents couldn't possibly know that. My father- my father thinks that same way your parents do. I would just have to act like my fathers daughter." She gave a sad smile at the relationship between her and her dad.
"You're so inquisitive. What's up with that?" He teased.
"Didn't you know I was perfect?" Delphi teased.
Caesar pulled his lips in to bite at them angrily, a rumble starting in his vocal chords that echoed when he spoke next.
"He said that he would chase after you, because you were attractive. And then the whole group started to talk and laugh. I couldn't take it. I grabbed him and told him not to ever let me hear him say that about you, or any girl, ever again." He said flatly, anger in his voice.
Delphi froze against him awkwardly. This was exactly why she masked her features. She loved that Caesar was so protective of her. "You know you are the only one for me, right?" She said softly and seriously. "No one else. Ever. They're scum." She finished in finality.
"They're a bunch of pigs rolling around in their mud holes." He snapped madly, his eyes darkening
Delphi was flipped onto her back forcefully, she jumped at the suddenness but did not startle or worry, she knew she was safe with Caesar. She was however distressed and worried about her boyfriend's actions. She sat up suddenly, but before she could reply, he had spoke.
"Stay away from him." Caesar said sharply, his eyes narrowed and dark again. Delphi searched Caesar's face, looking for...jealousy? That just wasn't like Caesar. But every inch of his features screamed that he was serious.
"He's the one who talked about you. The one I almost sent to meet his maker. I'm taking you." He seemed to growl.
Delphi gulped and nodded. It was one thing to know that things were being said about you, it was another to know exactly who it was. "I'm sorry." She said softly, leaning forward to wrap her arms around his neck. "I didn't know. That is so scary. I don't understand people." She muttered. She shivered. Partially due to the light wind, and partially because of what he told her and how serious he was about her staying away. That would mean that he wouldn't put it past Madden to do something. She shivered again and shook her head.
"I'm glad you are taking me to the Ball. I hope it's as good as the first." She turned her head and smiled into Caesar's neck. Kissing it softly and innocently. "Who would have thought that this time I would be the Champion?" Delphi loved his devotion and to her and how serious he was about her protection. It made her feel special. The one Slytherin who cared about no one but his sister, had allowed her to burrow herself a spot in his heart. As he seemed to consume all of hers. Was now the time to bring up David?
"Have you by any chance met a Hufflepuff named David?" She asked slowly and cautiously.

Caesar forgot all else about Madden, feeling her around him was enough. He burrowed into her, wrapping his hands around her too, squeezing her lightly. He pulled back and smiled. "You're so perfect." He added, answering her previous somewhat-question.
"I'm glad you are taking me to the Ball. I hope it's as good as the first." She turned her head and smiled into Caesar's neck. Kissing it softly and innocently. "Who would have thought that this time I would be the Champion?"
Caesar shrugged, teasingly. "I wouldn't have even given you a chance. You'd trip and fall walking up to the champions stand two years ago. Now you're so mature and beautiful, not like you aren't always." He sighed. "You're full of surprises!" The boy shivered at her kiss, and he felt the goosebumps kick in. He turned his neck so she could kiss him again, a smile on his face. "I love your kisses." He purred, wrapping himself around her and pulling her into his lap as he sat up.
"Have you by any chance met a Hufflepuff named David?" She asked slowly and cautiously.
Caesar tapped his chin slowly, inclining his head. "Tall, big guy? Oily Osler! His nickname." He laughed lightly. "Yeah, know him, don't particularly like him. Theo gave him a good heckling the other night." He chuckled, looking into her eyes. "Wait- why?" He asked, his tone becoming serious. All evidence of a smile disappeared.

Caesar shrugged, teasingly. "I wouldn't have even given you a chance. You'd trip and fall walking up to the champions stand two years ago. Now you're so mature and beautiful, not like you aren't always."
Delphi beamed. "I like to think that you have made me as strong as I am today. I would probably be tripping all over the place if it weren't for you." She laughed, but was serious. He really had made her stronger emotionally. He was one of the reasons she didn't judge through houses.
He sighed. "You're full of surprises!"
Delphi shrugged. "It's all part of being unpredictable." She teased him using his previous statement.
Caesar turned his neck so she could kiss him again, a smile on his face. "I love your kisses." He purred, wrapping himself around her and pulling her into his lap as he sat up.
Kissing his jawbone she said, "Then let me." She smiled and kissed every spot on his face. She kissed his jawline, his neck all the way down to his collar bone before resting her head on his chin.
Caesar tapped his chin slowly, inclining his head. "Tall, big guy?
"Yeah. Really well built and strong looking." She replied.
"Oily Osler! His nickname." Caesar laughed lightly. Delphi flinched. The nickname was too crude and uncalled for.
"Is that really necessary?" She asked, slightly disappointed.
"Yeah, know him, don't particularly like him. Theo gave him a good heckling the other night."
The Ravenclaw bit her lip. "Did Theo say why? Or mention anything else about him?" She asked, trying to sound casual.
"Wait- why?" Caesar asked, his tone becoming serious. All evidence of a smile disappeared.
Maybe she shouldn't have brought it up. Delphi shook her head quickly with a forced smile. "Nothing. I studied with him and Rhye today in the library. He seems like a nice guy. I think he gets bullied a lot. And that's unfortunate .But he's in year so I thought you might know him." She smiled awkwardly, hoping the Slytherin would by it. She didn't want something to happen if he knew that she had been yelled at. Perhaps she shouldn't have brought him up at all.

Caesar chuckled, tracing patterns into her back as he held her on his lap. "And you've made me kinder... somewhat." He grinned, his toothy smile brightening. "I bet it is." He grinned and kissed her softly, looking into her eyes.
The pair were on the subject of David again. He looked down for a moment then up to her.
"Yeah. Really well built and strong looking." She replied.
Caesar nodded.
The Ravenclaw bit her lip. "Did Theo say why? Or mention anything else about him?" She asked, trying to sound casual.
He nodded again, a grimace on his face. "He said that he was just playing around with David, but then he got mad and when he stormed off, a girl followed him. Come to mention it, he said she had the weirdest hair color." He paused and eyed Emma. "Emma, was that you?" He said sternly, his voice deepening. "Theo also said that he cracked and started yelling at her too. Did he yell at you? Tell me." Caesar's eyes were dark once again, his muscles tensing under his clothing.
"I've had it with people being disrespectful. First Madden, and now David." He snapped, his fingers curling and uncurling into a fist. "I'll kill them both if I ever see them again." He hissed, his eyes closing.
Delphi shook her head quickly with a forced smile. "Nothing. I studied with him and Rhye today in the library. He seems like a nice guy. I think he gets bullied a lot. And that's unfortunate .But he's in year so I thought you might know him." She smiled awkwardly.
Caesar growled quietly, his hands cupping her face. He kissed her gently before pulling back and looking down. "It's a shame that I know a lot of people in my year." He snorted, his eyes narrowing somewhat. "Most of them are sorry excuses for students."

Caesar chuckled, tracing patterns into her back as he held her on his lap and Delphi wiggled around playfully, wrapping her legs around his waist so she could trace the lines on his shirt. "And you've made me kinder... somewhat."
Delphi grinned. "You were already kind, you just needed the right person to bring it out in you." She pecked his lips. "Good thing I'm not a Hufflepuff. You might have never given me a chance." She laughed.
Caesar grinned, his toothy smile brightening. "I bet it is." He grinned and kissed her softly, Delphi meeting his lips with a smile.
"I have to keep you on your toes. Hogwarts bores you too easily. The least I can do is keep it interesting." She leaned forward and laid her head on his chest.
The pair were on the subject of David again. Caesar looked down for a moment then up to her. He nodded again, a grimace on his face.
"He said that he was just playing around with David, but then he got mad and when he stormed off, a girl followed him. Come to mention it, he said she had the weirdest hair color."
Delphi feoze against his body, refusing to lift her head to look at him.
Caesar paused and eyed Emma. "Emma, was that you?" He said sternly, his voice deepening.
Delphi opened her mouth to speak, but didn't get a chance to vocalize her thoughts.
"Theo also said that he cracked and started yelling at her too. Did he yell at you? Tell me." Caesar's eyes were dark once again, his muscles tensing under his clothing.
Delphi grimaced with a sigh and sat up. She held his face in her hands. "He didn't yell at me." She said seriously. "He vented to me. He was just blowing off steam. He finished and walked away, and I headed back to my Common Room. End of story." She said dismissively. Kissing his nose softly.
"I've had it with people being disrespectful. First Madden, and now David." Caesar snapped, his fingers curling and uncurling into a fist.
Delphi thought it best to remain quiet.
"I'll kill them both if I ever see them again." Caesar hissed, his eyes closing.
"Nothing happened. I asked Rhye to go with me. He ended up making David mad because he told him off. You know, for raising his voice and all." She continued to avoid eye contact. "They weren't too friendly towards each other." She grimaced at the memory of the days earlier events.
Caesar growled quietly, his hands cupping her face. He kissed her gently before pulling back and looking down. "It's a shame that I know a lot of people in my year."
Delphi looked at him in confusion. "Why would knowing your year mates be a bad thing?"
Caesar snorted, his eyes narrowing somewhat. "Most of them are sorry excuses for students." Delphi grinned, hey eyes lighting up, and she leaned into his chest, her hands folded into her for warmth.
"You're too good for me Caesar. Too good indeed." She nuzzled her head into chest. "Are you going to stay up here with me tonight?"

"I have to keep you on your toes. Hogwarts bores you too easily. The least I can do is keep it interesting." She leaned forward and laid her head on his chest.
Caesar stroked her hair gently, laying his cheek down on her head. "It's only boring when you're not here- so, yes, you're right. You must keep me on my toes." He chuckled.
Caesar closed his eyes as her lips brushed his nose. His left hand raised to stroke her cheek gently, stealing a quick kiss from her before smiling, resting his forehead against hers. "Well, he better not ever yell at you or try anything with you." He teased, wrapping his hands around her lower half, pulling her into his chest tightly. "Because you are mine." He scrunched his nose up at her, sticking his tongue out. "All mine."
"Nothing happened. I asked Rhye to go with me. He ended up making David mad because he told him off. You know, for raising his voice and all." She continued to avoid eye contact. "They weren't too friendly towards each other."
"Good." He said emotionless, snuggling into her comfortably. "Its nice to see that Pretty Boy sticking up for someone, even if its against a seventh year who is twice his size." He joked, his eyebrows lifting. "I didnt think they'd be. Rhye's a good friend- I'll give him that- and he doesn't seem the type to let people walk over others. I know how close you guys are, so its completely understandable."
Caesar sighed against her clothes, taking a deep breath of her scent in happily.
"You're too good for me Caesar. Too good indeed." She nuzzled her head into chest. "Are you going to stay up here with me tonight?"
He shook his head in refusal, smiling against her skin, kissing on her shoulder lightly. "No, you're way too good for me." He purred, tracing up her sides with his fingertips. "Of course, I'll stay up here with you as long as you'd like. And then I'll carry you back to your bed when you fall asleep on my lap like you always do when we stay up late together." He giggled, kissing her nose playfully. "You get so sleepy when you're around me. I have half a mind to think I'm that boring." He joked, a grin on his face.

Caesar's left hand raised to stroke her cheek gently, stealing a quick kiss from her before smiling, resting his forehead against hers. "Well, he better not ever yell at you or try anything with you." He teased, wrapping his hands around her lower half, pulling her into his chest tightly. Delphi wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled gleefully, blindly drawing patterns on the back of his neck.
"Because you are mine." Caesar scrunched his nose up at her, sticking his tongue out. "All mine."
Delphi giggled and snapped her teeth at Caesar's outstretched tongue. "I'm a free bird, my love." She laughed, leaning back with her arms spread out, letting Caesar's hands support her upper body. The wind picked up, as if understanding her word's, and her hair blew across her face to the side. "And not just any bird. I'm a penguin." She sat up straighter, resting her open palms on Caesar's chest. "And like a penguin, you are my soul mate." She nipped at his lip. "I'm crazy. You have to love me."
"Good." Caesar said emotionless, snuggling into her comfortably. Delphi attached her hands to his hair. "Its nice to see that Pretty Boy sticking up for someone, even if its against a seventh year who is twice his size." He joked, his eyebrows lifting.
Delphi laughed. "Well you know Rhye, he doesn't do anything in halves. He can't just stand up to someone- it has to be the biggest guy he can find." She shook her head.
"Rhye's a good friend- I'll give him that- and he doesn't seem the type to let people walk over others. I know how close you guys are, so its completely understandable."
"Rhye is the best of the best when it comes to friends. He wouldn't let me go and check on David. He said David wasn't in a place where people needed to be around him. Said, well he had some theories. I trust his judgment." She shrugged. "He's super protective of me. Treats me like his baby sister."
Caesar shook his head in refusal, smiling against Delphi's skin, kissing on her shoulder lightly. Delphi lifted her shoulder up and giggled. Her shoulder's were very ticklish, as Caesar very well knew.
"No, you're way too good for me." He purred, tracing up her sides with his fingertips and she laughed. Caesar always knew were her most sensitive spots were. She placed her fingers on his chin, tilting his head down to look at her, she smiled and kissed him a bit roughly.
"Of course, I'll stay up here with you as long as you'd like. And then I'll carry you back to your bed when you fall asleep on my lap like you always do when we stay up late together." He giggled, kissing her nose playfully.
Delphi scoffed teasingly. "I do not always fall asleep on you." Her cheeks turned a bit pink. "You get so sleepy when you're around me. I have half a mind to think I'm that boring." He joked, a grin on his face. Delphi laughed and squeezed him tightly.
"No you silly boy! All, all wrong." She shook her head vigorously, nose scrunched up. "I'm always stressing about something, you know that. And when I finally get to be around you, I can fully relax. I know I'm safe and have nothing to worry about. You're my safety." Delphi tried to explain. Caesar just made her feel relaxed and comfortable. "It's the only time I get a good night's sleep." She explained.
"I won't fall asleep on you tonight. I promise." Delphi grinned and kissed him on both cheeks and then on the nose.

Delphi giggled and snapped her teeth at Caesar's outstretched tongue. "I'm a free bird, my love." She laughed, leaning back with her arms spread out, letting Caesar's hands support her upper body. "And not just any bird. I'm a penguin." She sat up straighter, resting her open palms on Caesar's chest. "And like a penguin, you are my soul mate." She nipped at his lip. "I'm crazy. You have to love me."
Caesar scoffed lightly. "If we were penguins, I'd not be stuck at home watching the egg." He shook his head. "Real male penguins go out and swim all night." He winked, going along with her imagined story of her penguin-like nature. "And they don't do the whole nest-building thing. That's all your job." He teased, his eyebrows raising playfully, his hands gripping hers that rested on his chest.
"Rhye is the best of the best when it comes to friends. He wouldn't let me go and check on David. He said David wasn't in a place where people needed to be around him. Said, well he had some theories. I trust his judgment." She shrugged. "He's super protective of me. Treats me like his baby sister."
Caesar smiled a bit, nodding. He approved of Rhye secretly, even though Rhye didn't seem to approve of him. The Ravenclaw had a good reason though- most of the Slytherin class this year were mixed blood intolerant. The pure blood mentality was popular along people, most importantly Slytherin.
Caesar's cheeks seemed to heat up, and a faint outline of a pink blush haunted his face. "Shh, you're making me blush." He snorted, his eyes closing slowly as she kissed his cheeks and his nose. He chuckled deeply, wrapping his hands around her hips, holding her by the sides.
"I'm glad I can calm you down. You do the same for me. I'm not as temperamental, in most cases." He shrugged gently, as if he wasn't afraid to admit it. "And you better not. I might just draw on your face if you do." He joked, his eyebrows wiggling like hers most always did when she was feeling playful.

Caesar scoffed lightly. "If we were penguins, I'd not be stuck at home watching the egg." He shook his head.
Delphi raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing at her lips. "Oh?"
"Real male penguins go out and swim all night." He winked, going along with her imagined story of her penguin-like nature. "And they don't do the whole nest-building thing. That's all your job." He teased, his eyebrows raising playfully, his hands gripping hers that rested on his chest. Delphi doubled over i9n laughter, her forehead resting on his chest.
"You aren't a very nice penguin, are you?" She teased. Delphi put a finger to her chin, pretending to be in deep thought. "Hmm. I think when we have children, you can stay home with them, and I'll go to work. How about that?" She played.
Delphi laughed as she watched Caesar blush.
"I know I'm doing something right if I can make the typical Slytherin blush." She joked, pecking him on the nose.
"Shh, you're making me blush." Caesar snorted, his eyes closing slowly as she kissed his cheeks and his nose. He chuckled deeply, wrapping his hands around her hips, holding her by the sides. Delphi rested her arms over his shoulders. She hummed a random tune and swayed from side to side.
"I'm glad I can calm you down. You do the same for me. I'm not as temperamental, in most cases." He shrugged gently, as if he wasn't afraid to admit it.
Delphi paused in her humming and grinned. "You can always be yourself around me. We just fit. You are always calm and mellow, and I am always smiling and hyper. We balance each other quite well, don't we." She continued her humming, playing with Caesar's hair.
"And you better not. I might just draw on your face if you do." He joked, his eyebrows wiggling like hers most always did when she was feeling playful.
Delphi stopped humming with a gasp. Her eyes narrowed playfully. "You wouldn't dare!" She challenged, pushing away from him slightly.
