Delilah sat there in the chair and just listened as he spoke. She did not understand everything but she was silent. The only reactions that she was giving was a slight nod every now and then. Her eyes were focused on his face as he continued on. She did feel a bit nervous sitting here alone with him but that would have been the same if she was alone in a room with any boy. When he asked " Any questions so far? " Delilah was silent for a moment as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and then thought for a moment. Yes she had questions. Many of them. But she did not know how to ask. There were a few that were simple enough however.
"Does it hurt ?" She asked now. "To change I mean." she licked her lips nervously worried that she may sound stupid. Merlin only knew how many times he had hear these questions before. Delilah blushed softly and looked down at the floor. Then she thought of a second question. "Do you know what you are doing when you are a wolf?" She stood now, feeling exposed just sitting here and asking foolish questions.
Delilah stood. She had no intention of leaving, however. She began to roam the room never moving too far away. "¿Por qué debo sonar tan estúpido" She asked herself softly. It did not occur to her that he might hear her low voice. She paused here and there at the display cases trying to mask her embarrassment.
**Why must I sound so stupid?

He told her it did hurt to change sometimes and no, he didn't know what he was doing as a wolf. The way he explained it, being in wolf form was like having an out of body experience. He knew what he was doing but he couldn't control his body. Adam ran his hand through his dark hair. His sharply tuned hearing picked up on her muttered words. Spanish again. Did she forget he understood what she said? He loved being bi-lingual.
" You sound smarter then others who know. " He said. For once, he wasn't referring to the Slytherin prats. His sister asked if he could pass it to her through touch without a scratch. He loved Emily but that was stupid. He kept his eyes on her as she moved.

" You sound smarter then others who know. " He told her and Delilah looked up at him looking through the glass of a display case in front of her. So he had animal traits if he had hear her muttering to herself. He was watching her. And Delilah met her eyes.
"And the wolf part," Asked now moving once again. She came around and to his side before using her arms to lift herself up and onto the table beside him. "Can you control when it comes? Can you stop it?" She knew that there were potions to prevent the wolf from being set free but she wondered if he could control it on his own.
Delilah looked up at him trying to picture his body reforming. Did his muscles stretch and his bones bend? These were the types of questions she could not ask.
"Are there many of your kind? Or are you one of a few?" She had so many questions to ask. "Do you..." Delilah paused now and looked away. "Never mind." She said now. "I am sorry I ask so much. I have never met one of your kind before. And not many of the students here have been nice to me. I miss my country and my parents." Truth be told, she felt so alone here and this boy was one of the very few who had bothered with her at all. And even then, she had had to fall almost on top of him for him to notice her.

Adam uncrossed his arms and stood on his feet. He went over to her and sighed. She was adorable with all her questions. He'd run the gambit with the million questions a minute thing. They questions were always the same but he didn't mind answering them for anyone willing to sit and listen. He handed her a book that had a book mark sticking out of a couple chapters.
Adam just saw himself as another wizard. He cast spells the same way, played sports, everything else. Only difference between him and the next wizard was he turned into a giant wolf and didn't have a choice in the matter. " Read the marked chapter, that should answer most of your questions. " He said softly.
" I'm just like everyone else, Delilah. Only difference is I get cranky around the full moon. " He said to her. " Where are you from? " He asked her. Adam ran his fingers over the shelf next to him. From past conversations, she was from a Spanish speaking nation. That narrowed it down to so oh many places.

Delilah did not look at him as he approached. She did look at the book slightly surprised when it was held out to her however. She took it slowly the sign being clear that she was asking too many questions when Adam said " Read the marked chapter, that should answer most of your questions. " He told her and Delilah nodded softly.
She looked up now meeting his eyes as he spoke again. She knew he was like everyone else and when he referred to his affliction to being 'cranky' Delilah smiled and let out a soft chuckle. "I am from Columbia." She told him now.
"My brother, Juan, is here but he is younger and has his own friends. He seems to be settling in better that I." She paused. "My parents are still in Columbia. They ... are ... involved in work." She did not think that Adam would understand the business her parents were in. Even in the wizarding world, Drug Lords were not exactly smiled upon.
